Sri Lankan team has totally lost their game, they were at one time the top ODI team in the world now they play like kids, when they had batters like Jayasuriya, Kaluwitharna, De-silva, Ranatunga, they use to make 100+ in 10-12 overs now its hard for them to reach 100 without losing at-least 3-4 wickets.
The T20 world cup is in March cmiiw and I don't see them even making the semi finals the way they're playing.
T20 is totally other concept and strategy game , but in test and odi players have to do batting and bowling for long time and todays young players are not that much talents, They are preferring to go for short term game like T20 so you cannot compare ther records of teams by odi and t20. |
