2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 15, 2021, 09:17:32 PM
You can't compare this fight to the fight of Manny against Ugas, that was a professional fight and Ugas is a champion as well. This match is a pure exhibition match and if we look at the experience of the fighters, clearly Mike Tyson has the advantage and that fact that he is still fit now, I have a feeling that his chance of winning is higher against Logan.
Sure it is incomparable to this match because this is far from being a professional match.

I'm also thinking that Mike won't just let Logan give him a slide and win on this match despite being exhibition. I think that everyone wants to see him being beaten by Mike.

Money, fame or reputation, Mike will probably choose the latter.

I wouldn't be so sure about it. He has already gained fame and is a legend. However, we all know about his financial problems. If this information is true, then unfortunately Mike is bankrupt and even drowning in debt, so if anyone would like to earn money from it, it is possible that Mike would agree to some very profitable proposition...
I don't know about that thing about Mike.

But if he's bankrupt and has to accept matches like this then he would take anything for sure even what it takes as long as the price is right. I really don't think that he's onto that point though.

One thing I'm sure of is that he is not financially bankrupt because there was news before that he donated most of his income to the charity.
Better read this article below and I believe it's true.

Mike Tyson claims he will donate most of the $10 million he earns in Roy Jones Jr. fight to charities
2682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 15, 2021, 08:50:24 PM
Therefore my pick is Celtics -2.5 , good luck!
I guess we are on the same page with this bet again.  Wink They made an error 2 days ago against the same team (Cavs) I don't think they will let it happen again.
Happy to hear that, hopefully we'll both enjoy the game tonight and the outcome.

Quote
My other bet is for the Miami Heat versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. Heat -7.5 only because I already got greedy yesterday, time to calm a bit.
Good job on putting your bet early, line has moved to -9 now, probably because Butler will play? No confirmation yet but regardless, we saw how good Heat are playing without him.

The Nuggets who are on a streak will be facing the Dallas Mavericks who are in the same number of streaks. (5)
A must-watch game in my opinion as both teams are looking forward to continuing their wins. Nuggets are the underdogs this time.
In this case, I'll pick the home team.  Smiley
2683  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: November 15, 2021, 08:18:35 PM
Bitcoin will not stop this year so I'm already happy to see a $70k ATH this year as we still have next year where we might continue to witness a bullish market. The lowest this year was around $22k and if the ATH is $70k, then we are already getting a good increase, more than other investments out there. Sometimes we need to be satisfied, and instead look for the long term success so we will not easily panic once the bear market takes over.
actually, the price of $70k is a very likely price, even most likely, if the bitcoin price does break through the $70k wall by the end of the year, then I would argue that the price is around $75k or even higher.
Referring to the price analysis on Cointelegraph regarding the price of bitcoin, if an up trend occurs, in the near future, the price of bitcoin can reach $69k, and if there is no price correction, there is a very big potential we can see a range of $70k. Well, I'm pretty excited for that.

reference : https://cointelegraph.com/news/top-5-cryptocurrencies-to-watch-this-week-btc-ltc-link-vet-axs

I have no doubt about bitcoin reaching $70k this year because it's been bullish this year, we witnessed a new ATH already and it might continue as bitcoin starts to be bullish again. As of now, bitcoin is still trading at sub $60k which is very convincing that anytime it will pump again, and if that will happen a new ATH is probably be achieved again.
2684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 15, 2021, 01:58:17 PM
Here's my pick again.

Game : Celtics vs Cavaliers.

Same spread in their previous game, but I believe the outcome will be different.

In the previous game, Celtics allowed the Cavaliers to have a big run and beat them in the 4th quarter, but this time I believe they will not anymore give the cavaliers a chance and they will beat the Cavaliers with a huge margin.

Therefore my pick is Celtics -2.5 , good luck!
2685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin brings us true freedom of thought on: November 15, 2021, 01:02:14 PM
I agree with you.
Satoshi Nakamoto was, in my opinion, a real philosopher and scientist, and he changed the definition of money for us, Satoshi showed us that money can also be exchanged with information, and that anyone with any level of information can sell their information, and something more important to me than that is the transparency debate that Bitcoin can implement.

Satoshi Nakamoto showed us a great vision but the governments and present economic and banking system will never let us enjoy this freedom.
That's true, because our government believe that if they will grant full freedom, bitcoin could be used against the policy of the government. We humans are living in a country where we have a law to follow, so the government has the right to deny or regulate bitcoin if it's used in violating the law.

Some country like china just deny it, we should be thankful if it will be regulated as that's the only two option.

They will do every possible step to avoid us from using bitcoin and giving up on the fiat currencies. We never know how many more years or decades it will take for a complete bitcoin adaption & revolution.
Bitcoin adoption is very positive, institutional investors are putting their money to it, and they would not do that if they are not confident that the government will make a fair regulation to it, but like I said, there's always a limitation, we will enjoy but not the full decentralized kind of freedom.
2686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading is safe than forex trading on: November 15, 2021, 12:14:11 PM
I use binance and in binance i watch the market and i will see hot/gainers/loosers/24hr vol. I will check the coins that are hot and i will check them in loosers and buy them and wait for 24hrs they will go back to gain and i sell.

I mean, mate, we're literally in a bull market; almost anyone's going to make money in a bull market as long as he/she isn't tremendously bad. Bull markets are times when almost everyone thinks they're some trading/investing genius. Wait til we get into bearish territory, then re-evaluate if you're actually good.

You said it right, I also think I know a lot during the bull market in 2017 but came the bear market, I lose decent money in trading because it's very difficult to trade when the market is bearish but you are still thinking it will bounce back. That bear market is maybe just around the corner, so let's enjoy trading now as everytime it drop, it will easily bounce back and that means easy money.
2687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 15, 2021, 07:52:22 AM
As far as I know the contract between Top Rank and Crawford is up until October of this year.

So I'm not sure if Crawford has sign an extension, or if this is the last fight under contract. That's why it's quite surprising to see Crawford getting a PBC boxer for the first time and one of the toughest in the field.

Based on Crawford's camp statement even before, it's more likely that they will not extend the contract under Bob Arum's Top Rank Promotion. Since then, Crawford didn't have a chance to fight a top boxer and that's their request for a long time. Shawn Porter might be considered as one of the popular names but that's not enough to consider as "top" by Crawford camp "based on my own view".

Surely, we can expect an update about that after their bout - if Crawford wins.

That's right, this is the last fight of Crawford under Top rank promotion if he will not renew the contract. It's not a problem for him to look for other promoters as surely there are many who are just waiting for him and they could give a good offer to Crawford just to get him on board.

Bob Arum discusses prospect of continuing to promote Terence Crawford after Shawn Porter fight

If Crawford is dreaming on fighting the best then he should take the risk not to renew under Top Rank as the reason why rumors came out that he is looking for a new promoter is because he is not satisfied on the time he work with Top rank.

Thank you stadus for the tip. I just made it sweeter adding 1 more point for higher income.  Wink Sorry, just a bit greedy.

No worries, my pick is not guaranteed a winner but I'm just lucky in the past few days.
You should ride with me in my next pick, still one pick a day so I could choose the best game, hopefully, my streak will continue.

Congrats on your win, that's a lot of won bets today.  Smiley

2690  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 14, 2021, 09:12:32 PM
In my opinion, a credit card is a means of payment that makes it easier for us if used wisely and also must understand its use properly and correctly.
and credit cards are one of the conveniences offered by banks to borrow and borrow goods, and but we must remain vigilant when we have a credit card, if we are not wise in using it, it is not impossible that we can get into debt that will never be paid off if we use it haphazard.
If you don't control yourself you mind end up in big debt, and you'll not be able to use your credit card anymore and you will be blacklisted due to bad credit history.  But fortunately for those who have outstanding loans from credit card company, they don't need to be afraid because no one gets jailed on credit card loans, it will only give you a bad reputation on your credit history.

2691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 14, 2021, 08:31:54 PM
What do you think of GSW vs Hornets game tomorrow? Will GSW continue its magical run?
They hot, can't bet against the Warriors after playing a very dominant basketball in their previous games.

This is a road game for the warriors but I think they'll still win this one and the winning streak will continue.

Right, I do agree, the Warriors is on a hot streak, I don't think that the Hornets can stop them in their home court. They are on a 7 game winning streak and NBA's best 11-1, so everything is on the line for the Warriors.

Curry scored 40 points against the Bulls, and I think he will continue to score and lead his team against a 7-7 Hornets. I think they can cover -4.5 to -5.5 spread in this game.

I agree, GSW still hot with Curry leading his troop, sometimes he doesn't have to produce much for them to win.

With a complete squad who properly blends together, GSW is now coming to regain their thrown.
It's very enjoyable seeing everyone doing their part to help Curry, even those bench players when
given a chance, they are really showing their best.

It's the same old GSW system that now working again for Steph and his squad, offense is again
their main defense, good to see every role players are jiving with this system.

Warriors won 9 of their last 10 games and on a 7 win streak, it will not stop here even on their first road game.

As long as Curry is healthy and the chemistry is present, nothing can stop the Warriors even the top-rated teams in the NBA. In fact, I can't wait to see the Nets play the Warriors so I can see how would Durant handle his old team who are still undermanned due to Klay Thompson's absence, and by the way that's the next game of the warriors after tonight's game.
2692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: November 14, 2021, 01:24:02 PM
It seems most of the reply here are all in favor Tommy forgetting that in this kind fight everyone could be a winner as I strongly believe that Jake Paul should not be underrated as he has the power and ability to change the odd in his favor during the fight. As for me I will bet in favor Jake Paul to take the lead come December 18th.
That’s ok to go against the odds since anything can happen and this one can also be a fixed match so you can have a good chance to win on betting with Jake. Though, personally I always bet with the crowd and looking at the comments here Fury are more favorite here with a great reason why, so it will be more safe for me to place a bet with Tommy.

The problem with betting here is we don't know if this is a pre-arranged fight and they already know who's gonna win even before the fight as it is only exhibition fight. It may even ends up as draw depending on the mood of the judges. So for me, don't bet high because this is not a serious one, you may likely lose your bet for nothing.

This is why we shouldn't bet on exhibition fight since we don't know on how they will end up or how they fight in the ring and I don't expect match between this match up so its better to watch without betting since this is the safest thing we need to do. But if someone want to bet out of thrill then you might be right for betting only with small amount so that if we lose on maybe lousy game we will not get hurt or be stressed about the result.

For me, it's still worth betting but I would definitely not gonna risk my usual range of amount.

It's scripted or prearrange, regardless, it's still fun to watch the fight, and maybe let's try betting on the unexpected outcome like the draw because the odds is very attractive. If they'll write a script and they make it an interesting fight, they can make a rematch and that's another money for them.

2693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 14, 2021, 12:18:58 PM
surely they should win the next match but be careful
They'll be playing against Philly. Embiid is still out for Philly but if he will play, then most probably the Jazz would face a bigger problem. Thing is, they lose against the Heat without Butler, so for sure the Philly team could also win against the Jazz even without Embiid.
With or without Embiid, I won't bet on the Jazz to win... I believe they'll play better basketball that time.

Anyway, after a good win last night, I am now sharing another pick, so ride on the train now. lol

Game: Suns vs Rockets.

Rockets are still 1-11 this season, they don't know how to win I believe. With the Suns still rolling with their 7 win streak, I think they'll beat the Rockets in double digit.

Therefore my pick is Suns -8.5.

2694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 14, 2021, 11:50:32 AM
. And Jazz missed a very critical three-pointer which caused them to lose the game by this score. But I was delighted with the efforts of both teams.
Jazz had played great defense in the fourth quarter but that is not enough for them to win. They outscored the Heat 36-16 in the 4th but the heat already build a good lead which they work consistently in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarter. I'm happy with the result actually because I put my bet on the Heat's spread and moneyline.

@danherbias07 error on my side in quoting a post.
2695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 13, 2021, 09:08:49 PM
Not a very exciting day for NBA basketball. No nationally televised games and the only decent matchup of the day seems to be the Miami Heat vs the Utah Jazz. Miami has been playing pretty well so I’m not sure about them being 8 point underdogs, but the Jazz are on a mission this year. I think given their struggles over the last couple years this might be the last chance they have to go for it all with both Gobert and Mitchell on the roster.
That's why I took the heat because they are undervalued in this game even without Butler who is reported out already in this game.
tyler-herro Heat injury report: Jimmy Butler OUT for Saturday’s game vs. Jazz

For me, it should not be a problem for the Heat covering the spread without Butler, but winning, I think there's a small chance only, but let's see.
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 13, 2021, 08:52:28 PM

All of them need to go through a lot and it's never an easy process. They all have to beat lots of boxers for them to reach a new level and gain a new title. It's honestly a long journey for them and each boxer that they beat has a huge advantage for them to create a good name. Casimero has to grab this chance for him to add more to his record.

That's the journey that needed to take before you make this sport as your source of living.

Fighting and keeps on winning to raise your name high. Casimero's achievements still far from Pacquiao and Donaire but by keep doing his best to beat every challengers that he may face, that kind of fame is not far for him.

Keep adding tremendous wins and make yourself always willing and ready for every fight that your promoter is giving you.

After that, who knows how high this trash talker will achieve, all begins with a simple dream and now he already
getting the fruits of his hard works.

If he is getting more opportunities to fight then most likely he will have a chance to be one of the great boxers in the Philippines as he doesn't back down against any opponent, in fact, he challenges the champions which is a quality of a real champion, he doesn't cherry-pick his opponent.

Casimero is a warrior by heart, he travels the world to fight the best and bring honor to is country, so he really deserve to have a big fight and that should start a fight against Inoue.
2697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: November 13, 2021, 08:18:35 PM
BNB is a very good coin, no doubt. But it is not the altcoin king, Ethereum is. But Binance chain growth is extraordinary good! After the Ethereum Network, Binance chain is the second platform right now. Anyone can come with the Ethereum platform, but you can't launch your project on Binance chain unless you are verified by the Binance team! That makes Binance is the most reputed chain right now. Ethereum will remain the king but Binance will be a strong competitor to the Ethereum!
Based on the market cap, I don't think that Binance is a big competitor of ETH.

ETH has over $500 billion, while Binance is only at over $100 billion, maybe the closest competitor of BNB is SOL which currently at the top 5 in CMC with $70 billion market cap.
2698  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 13, 2021, 01:49:58 PM
It depends on how you'll use it, credit cards are issued by banks, they are regulated and therefore they are not scammed.

If you own a credit card and you are not a wise spender, then most likely you'll suffer from the interest, and worst is from the penalty if you get delayed with your payment. Let's put it this way, it's a burden for those who don't know how to manage their credit, but it will benefit people who use a credit cards for convenience.
2699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 13, 2021, 12:57:56 PM
Another good win for us, I think I have to post my early pick so you guys could check it out and just follow or fade.

Game: Jazz vs Heat.

Jimmy Butler is still questionable in this game but I still like the chances of the Heat to cover the spread. Again, I find it too high and that the heat might win straight up in this game. Their game against the LA Clippers showed us that they are a good team as they were able to compete well even without their main player.

I also see some struggle by the Jazz in defense, so with Lowry, I guess he can take over to command the team.

Therefore my pick is Heat +7.5, hopefully not a trap.
2700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 12, 2021, 09:52:16 PM
Good luck on your pick @stadus... but it's not only the Bucks who have inconsistency, even the Celtics are also experiencing some big losses due to their inconsistency.
Yes, I know that, but my basis is their performance last game and I really think that the Celtics has an edge in this game since Bucks will still missed 2 of their main starters, that's a big handicap already against a competitive team and Celtics would capitalize on that.

And this is the 4th straight road game of the Bucks, maybe they'll get a little tired also.

I believe Giannis own the Celtics, so I think it's good to put some player props too for Giannis as he could get a double double here.
This one is a good bet, I agree with this.
