2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: May 06, 2020, 07:12:23 AM
Most likely he will come back after spending his winnings. If we already experience how to win we are thinking that the next time we gamble the chances to win again is high its on our mindset. But it depends on our luck we cant rely to our past experience or strategies because if you're not lucky then your chance to win is slim.

Stop gambling and enjoy the winnings but spend it wisely. But they say the money you acquire easily is very easy to spend compared to the money you earn from hard work because you will value every cent of it.
I think the same, quitting while you are ahead is very difficult because most gamblers at that point are going to think on all the profits they are leaving behind if they quit, and while we know that is not true that is the way many gamblers think, so once the money begins to run out he is most likely going to try to gamble once again and most likely he is not going to be as lucky next time and that is going to put him in an even worse situation than the one he was at the beginning of all of this.

He is brave enough to quit at a right time. Many gamblers after winning such big amounts become greedy and take wrong decision or keep on playing more until they lose all. £400,000 is a big amount and he is one of the few persons for whom the lock down is a blessing.

Honestly there are no free bitcoin or other altcoins now a days. Even airdrops and bounty has their own task for you to accomplish before you could get the rewards. You've just to work for every coins you want.

All those who thinks that bounty are free are wrong because you have to work for whole week and complete certain tasks, submit reports and then you are eligible for the bounty reward. Earning crypto and bitcoin is not difficult too because if you are a hard worker you can earn through your skills and from bounty too (if you do not have any other skills).
2683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: May 05, 2020, 01:06:30 PM
Keeping it track won't uplift our chances to win but only it gives depression seeing how much we lose.
Surely no correlation between winning and keeping track of our gambling record. Keeping track may be related to how good we manage our money or how bad we wasted money so far. I think we don't need to track our record, what for guys? There is no advantage of applying that way. As you said, it just makes us depressed or regrets about what we have done. Avoid it!!
There is an advantage, you will see it if you really lose more often. I just realized it recently, if you will just take it positively you will also realize that keeping a record of your gambling will help you to limit yourself from doing the same thing every time you gamble. Instead of thinking that this will make you depressed, you can turn this negativity to your advantage.

But if you are more on a losing side, this can even made you depressed and sad. For example i play with less money but never keep track of my losses. Once i tried to calculate my loss for a week and i was sad to know that i lost that much amount of money. I think if you are playing for fun, do not calculate your profits and losses.
2684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: May 05, 2020, 12:58:12 PM
Lockdown is being lifted in a staggered manner across the globe, and I hope that most of the casinos will be back in action very soon. If that doesn't happen, then a compromise needs to be reached between the two sides. Casinos can't operate online, as we already have online gambling sites for this purpose. Regular visitors may not be comfortable with the online casino games. Either wait until the lockdown is lifted, or try to reach a deal. There is no other option available.

No one knows when the lock down will be lifted and even if the lock down is partially lifted, we can't grantee that casino's will be opened or not at an early stage. Its been almost two months of casino closure (March / April) and casino owners will have to pay from their pocket if they do not dismiss the casino workers from job. Its really tough for casino owners too.

"2 - Print the encripted keys in paper or some more durable medium and store securely in your home."

If you are going to do the above except you are going to tell a trusted member of the family where it is located and most especially how to use it to retrieve the asset, i would say write all information on paper and deposit it in a bank or give your personal lawyer so that in your absence they can present to your next of kin, it will be more like having a will presented to your family.

I think you can trust at least one person in your family, whether it be your parents or spouse and they should know the private keys of your wallets and more importantly how to use those keys.

2694  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: March 24, 2020, 04:29:02 AM
Well, even the promotion itself is starting with "we know major sports are cancelled but promotions continues" Cheesy if the leagues are really not there anymore, what do you suggest we should wager on? I suppose we can test this out on esports if possible, I checked it out and ESL is still doing amazing and not even a single issue because there are a ton of online tourneys that they are dishing out, sure it is minors and usually not big prize games and there are some teams I have never heard of, but they are still going on.

There was f1 2019 esports last night and Cembo won it, even Lando was there with about 90k viewers at some point, I couldn't find it on stake, could you guys maybe take a look into that? With f1 not going on and f1 2019 season postponed, maybe the online leagues of f1 2019 would be something to look at in racing.

To be true, there is nothing to wager on sports betting because i see no sports happening world wide and will not happen for a while now.
I am not a big fan of esports but that's the only option left with us and that is also limited.

The PIN is the four digits you entered during account registration it is not possible you have skipped that step since it is mandatory.

If this PIN is lost or forgotten, is there any way to recover it ?

Also what is your plan for any campaigns for your site on this platform ?
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 23, 2020, 05:55:44 PM
Knowing about the age restriction about gambling, and being applicable to online gambling as well. Is it really effective to limit the players? Because from my experience playing through different gambling sites, I don't see any that most of there are strict. They are just allowing you to create account and you can even fake your credentials to enter age above the limitation. There are some sites that don't really have anything to ask their players, and will allow you to directly play after your email has been verified. Yes, you have set your age in your email, but what if you exceed your age in your email as well?

That means, players of any age has really no restriction in gambling because of the weak regulation. Though, I don't like KYC to be a mandatory to every gambling sites. Maybe these sites could just improve or develop a system to detect if the players are really in legal age to play.

I could not think of any other way but KYC to verify if the one joining a gambling site is legit and of age, people want anonymity, and because the competition is very high in the online gambling sector they do away with KYC so, in reality, we'll never know if the one joining is of age and not a child who wants to gamble his allowance.

Either you do or implement KYC and lose your customers / players (because many gamblers do not want themselves to be disclosed who they are) or Do not make KYC compulsory and allow the under-age play the gambling. It's a trade off and you have to choose between the two.
2697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 23, 2020, 09:26:34 AM
In an honest sense everything in life is a gamble. Just the risk is different. We are playing with chance in every aspect of life, just from the moment of being born from the womb to the tomb. Still we develop skills and try to game the system to our advantage.

The attitude to gamble comes from willingness to take the risk. This is something that anyone likes to do and thus gambling is an inherent nature of humans.

Whenever there is something at stake, and it is always there, it is a gamble. Now a sports game may have odds in favor of those who know the game and their expertise and not completely luck based.

I agree. Gambling is not just about money, it is always present when you are choosing or deciding. When you did the right choice, then you win, but when you didn't, you lose.

Gambling is about winning the big amounts. People play gambling with this hope of getting lot of money. They think gambling is a quick rich scheme but actually it is not. If you try to get money with your luck only with a lot of risks and with no big efforts, then you are gambling.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping as a gambler? on: March 23, 2020, 06:56:00 AM
I am not really used in gambling but I think gambling can also makes us difficult to sleep because it is like our habit in our life, personally speaking, I am so used in playing online games and it makes me difficult to sleep because of the feeling that I want when playing, when I want to sleep, I keep saying that this is my last game for this day but it won't happen because I am still playing and playing. I think that is similar on what gamblers can feel while playing.

I do have some disturbance in sleeping if i bet on a match which is still in progress and it is night at my country. I try to sleep but could not sleep properly due to curiosity of who will win the match and whether i will be able to win the bet or not.
2699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 22, 2020, 06:14:13 PM
Now that almost all sporting events all over the world are cancelled, those wanting bet of sports events are left with having to find alternatives. What are the majority doing?

Are some giving up and trying to become reformed gamblers?

Are some gambling on casinos instead?

What are alternatives most sports betting users are now switching to?

I guess most of them are gambling on online casinos. They are just playing dice, slots or other games that they find interesting. Though yeah, its actually a prime time for them to reform their gambling habits and if they are addicted, stop for good.
I guess there are simulated sports games out there that they can place bets on. They are probably playing over there  Roll Eyes.

In short, Gambling is not effected by Corona virus but if you normally bets on matches, then you will not find much to bet these days. Other than this, gambling games like dice, poker etc have no effect and you can keep on playing them as long as you prefer to play online.
2700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the position of the gambler in the market? on: March 22, 2020, 02:37:48 PM
My idea of gambling property is very low and I did not dare to go to the marketplace with gambling to stay in danger.  Want to get experience with gambling and how can I gain experience with gambling?

Gambling is not a property or any investment business. You should understand that gambling is game in which you either WIN or LOSE instantly. Understanding gambling is not so difficult and you can take tutorial of an hour or so, about any gambling site on youtube and i am sure you will find it very easy.
