--gpu-powertune 10 --gpu-engine 1090 --gpu-memclock 1500 -I 11 -w 64 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2
ATI 7970 is throwing 270 khash/s now on win 7. Thanks guys.
Thanks. I am on 260 khash/s now ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

So, right now it seems a 7970 can get 240 khash/s and a 2600K can get 40 khash/s right now at N factor being 9. This will change to HALF on 25 June so not excellent news there.
which setting 7970 get 240 khash/s? .. im only getting 140 khash/s with -I 11 (intensity-12 driver crashes) --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192.

Tried mining with gpu (ATI 7970) on ubuntu but got all shares rejected (Target-miss, unknown-user, unknown work)..... what went wrong? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Setting i used: ./cgminer --scrypt -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 -I 12 --thread-concurrency 8192 (Mining in a pool coinmine.pl)

Hi, yeah im interested to buy some chips but not sure yet how many. I havent decide on board yet so im not sure how many chips i will need for which board, let me check and calculate it first then i will give you a PM. Any advice (how many chips and boards) to start with small money, anyone? Around 1k will be my budget for bitcoin mining to start with but im not sure if thats enough or less also ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Thanks. You will actually be able to get a very decent hashrate for 1k thanks to these open hardware projects. It looks like the assembled K16 boards will cost just around £50 plus chips are ~0.1 BTC each which means a complete 4.5 GH/s miner should cost under £170 all in. Thanks for the whole lot of explanation mate. I am willing to buy your spare chips when you have them. I am looking to build around 20 ghash/s machine to start so i need four k16 boards and 64 chips right?

Sure, i ll get back to this thread if i manage to get chips. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Hi, I might have a bit more chips than I'll need so I would be willing to sell you 16-64 chips. I need to buy chips somewhere else and provide you for assembly, paying your board and all assembly cost so i can get my miner ready for bitcoin mining, am i correct?
