I was shocked to see the performance of South Africa. They lost the second wicket on 166 runs. Yet they have lost this match. There is no good finisher batsman in their team. The way South Africa started their innings, they controlled the whole match. Yet they have been defeated.
Lack of good finishing has been one of the weak points for South Africa since many decades. The equation was like 29 runs from 4 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Which team would go on to lose from this position? South Africa somehow managed to lose the match despite this. Their top order is one of the best in the world (apart from Temba Bavuma, who is in the squad for reasons other than cricket). Honestly Monaco will have a lot of troubles in the group stage of Europe league. With both Real Sociedad and PSV it will be extremly hard for them to go into the next stage. Leverkusen on the other hand has amazing chances of going to the next stage with their group not really hard but not easy as well.
It will be really difficult for Monaco to cross the group stage and go to the next round. PSV and Real Sociedad are good teams. However, Monaco is not a weak team. They often perform better than expected. But it will be difficult to predict which team will qualify to the next round. All are about the same level. Monaco is a strong team, and in principle they can get out of the group, for me they are still the favorites. In PSV I somehow do not believe, they are, in my opinion, one of the weakest in this group. By the way, do not forget that the second place will play for playoffs with the 3rd place from the Champions League group. I don’t think we should rule out Monaco so early, because for me they’re a surprise package and they can stun other teams to progress ahead. Of course you are right that only a few members of the New Zealand main team are in the team, all the rest are new faces. However, this is everyone's expectation that New Zealand will play well.
The national boards have almost completely stopped international tours by 'A 'teams and the U-19 teams. As a result, apart from the main 4-5 batsmen, the others don't have sufficient experience of playing in hostile conditions. On top of that, the Bangladeshi spinners have been in terrific form recently. New Zealand board should have at least played a couple of warm-up matches before the outings against the national team. They could have at least got used to the conditions and avoided this humiliation. @bryant.coleman the possible theory is that they didn’t consider Bangladesh strong enough, and that’s why in their overconfidence they decided to not have any practice matches. It was really a problematic match for Real Madrid actually. They won but the result was only 1-0. After Carvajal scored, Betis started playing better. They tried their best to find the equalizer. But there were no more goals and Real Madrid secured the win. I was expecting this match to be a tough one for Real Madrid so I'm not surprised now.
And this isn't even going to be their toughest game with not even 10% of the season gone. 8 yellows throughout which now seems to be the standard benchmark for La Liga, getting more and more cards or is it just that the refereeing has become more strict? Now it's just left for Barca to keep the pace! @slaman29 Real Madrid really needs some urgent transfers, otherwise they’ll lose the league before it even begins. Robert Lewandowski looks like he wants to break his own record, he started with 5 goals in 3 matches. That's his first hat-trick this season and he has ability to do many more if he stays in Bayern. Youngster Musiala also scored. Hertha Berlin couldn't get a point in their first three games, this result is not surprising. When Bayern find weak opponents they never stop scoring goals. Just three days ago they scored twelve goals against an amateur side in cup game. Major German teams are ruthless and I like it. Football is all about scoring goals so I'm with teams who play positive football.
He might want to and the possibility that he's taking lead with 3 goals against Hertha, he might possibly be getting a head-on with teams that are below the standings last league or he might used this advantage in taking much score than the usual, and extremely Robert Lewandowski is pretty happy with his scores, but next match for Bayern was the 2nd on the last season, Leipzig, I don't really know if Leipzig will be ready for Bayern but let's just hope it can be a pretty exciting game to watch, But right now matches today is Union Berlin against Monchengladbach, and Wolfsburg VS Leipzig, I think Leipzig will sure struggle with Wolfsburg first before heading on with Bayern, this is really a great big ordeal for Leipzig to face right now in my opinion.
