Okay guys its out... Be ready for the rush time ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) What's out?!?!? I'm so confused!!!! Yeah whats out!!!!!!!!! Xircom. See? Many don't know what you refer to. Kindly clarify. It is just a very confusing post. Clarity, please? thnx. ~darylluke. Do not try to confuse yourself, its plainly that the reward will be reduced to 200 coins per block. They have repeated it several times that there is no forking for a more reduced number of coins yet. So within 24 hours we might see the halving to 200. Thats all.

Will be watching this. Once Bitcoin will go mainstream and mass adopted in the Philippines,
This idea implementation will not be so far-fetch in the country's setting.

Can the Coin dev do some IOS and Android Wallet?
I think this will be a huge boost for mass adoption.

Bugs I'm still having: 1) If I click on the transactions tab and then double click on any transaction a "transaction details" window pops up. This window is blank.2) On my wallet in windows 7 OS 64 bit, I can't get check boxes to highlight/ a check inside it when I click on it. For instance, if I click on "Settings" then "Options" then click on the check box for "Start CraigsCoin on system login" the black check won't stick and stay in the box when I release the mouse button. The check boxes work on my computer with Window 7 32 bit OS but not on my computer with Windows 7 64 bit OS. Anyone else having these issues? I was not able to replicate #2, and I can't check #1 at where I am (my wallet.dat is on other machine). Edit. Can confirm #1 - the window is not blank, just using white font on the white background Thanks. Could that somehow be the same issue with issue #1? White font on white background in the check box ? I guess we need more input from other users on that. Anyone else having this same check box issue. The box still works but you just can't see the check in the box after you release the mouse button. Dunno - I don't have it. Try rebooting and see if it is loading with boot. Then press checkbox and try rebooting again ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) If it works than you it is same issue with #1. I can confirm the same, white fonts on white background, this is not good, such simple mistakes should have already been seen before releasing the wallet, besides that craig logo is too big and not good to see or proportional, better put that 3d logo, way much better.. thanks

What are you gonna do with Craigscoin? hookers don't take crypto Is the dev still dumping on you guys? Glad Im out. I took my btc and put it into swift and made all my money back and then some. Are you sure he is dumping? Maybe the coin dev could share his CRAIG wallet to counter this claim. Any news yet on the PR Release? This is getting ironic, a classified ads coin that lacks a good advertising campaign.

I would guess the reward will be lower than 24 at next wallet release, but not much lower. Plan is to make the coin mineable around 2 years. If possible before the 10th. Lots af things is happening behind the scene that we will bring out when we are 110 % sure it is ready for release. The new homepage is under dev and I hope we will be finished some time next week.
Darylluke, I think this is the one you're looking for? Can the coindevs clarify this? I guess that is why some people here are saying that they are being misled because of not clear points about the roadmap and the halving. Thanks

I doubt E-Peso will really happen. It's just a suggestion from 1 person in the gov right..? I don't think the bill will be approved. But I am not an expert in PH politics, so not sure how it exactly works.
It boils down on a good sales pitch... Here's the sales pitch. If it's anything like bitcoin, you can hide your ill-gotten wealth. (Of course, don't remind them politicians that it's all in the blockchain.) You will see 20+ senators, 200+ congressmen, and 50+ provincial governors approve the bill. Then watch as our 1000 PH/s cloud miner insta-mines the first billion coins. Everyone will think the BSP is doing it. I will have a new job description as "E-Peso Escrow Agent". My fee will still be 1%. But I'll be sure to buy bomb-proof Chevrolet Suburbans and put up my own security agency. BRAVO!!! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

It will probably be insta-mined. The rest should be normally mined. At least the 1 Billion will be held by Banko Sentral. And you can go to any bank to exchange your PHP to E-PHP and vice versa.
Because if it's not insta-mined, and it uses SHA256 or even scrypt, I'm going to rent-a-bunch-of-hashes. As will every other miner out there. Suddenly these cloud miners look useful.
If it uses a new algo, then my GPU's might be useful later if I haven't sold them yet.
The larger banks should be major pool operators. There will, of course, be independent miners and solo miners. A centralized de-centralized coin, backed by fiat. Interesting.
Once I noticed those high end GPUs on some popular computer outlets get sold out frequently, something is up! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

So, if this E-Peso happens, I'm guessing Banko Sentral will pre-mine 200 million in the first two months while testing the coin, 100 million per month. Then decrease the block subsidy total per month by 10 million every two months, until in the 22nd month there will be 1 Billion e-pesos in circulation. Or, the gov could just pre-mine all 1 billion on block zero, and miners have maybe 10~100 million total per month or something. Eventually, the coin should match a portion of the narrow (M1) or broad (M2) stock of Philippine legal money, which is currently at $40 Billion USD to $130 Billion USD. In 10 years, there will be 10 billion E-Pesos. *edit* Another article: http://www.philstar.com/business/2014/10/05/1376516/solon-pushes-e-peso-actIt says 1%. An initial amount equivalent to one percent of the total amount of Philippine currency in circulation shall be minted by the BSP within one year from the enactment of the proposed act, the bill outlined. $40 Billion USD = 1,788 Billion Philippine Pesos. 1% of that is 1.78 Billion Pesos Thanks for sharing this Dabs.. hopefully our local miners will have some opportunity to get a bite on the chunk on this, but by checking on history, it either get premined ( as in mined in full force for some months before releasing it officially or it gets instamined )

This coin NEEDS a SERIOUS Marketing Strategy to break into Mainstream! The Dev should start considering this seriously, add to this as a part of coin's development budget.

Hello Coin Devs, Any thoughts of changing the Algo? Lets say X11? Then do a merge mine with other coins when the time warrants it? On what I see, SCRYPT-N has been loosing popularity and so the hashes is going down too.. the coin needs a healthy working network. VMC needs a REBOOT IMO.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Its a good thing and a great decision you guys migrated from CEX.IO to a more profitable one. This only means that the DEV do care for the coin, the investment and also about the traders and investors. Cheers. Sir, does not matter whether we use x11 or scryptn. If you have a gpu and the other person has a gpu then mining power proportions do not change - the same power proportions for scryptn and x11 you get - algorithm is neutral. Additionally there is too many x11 coins already and not much good scryptn coins. Additionally sgminer supports each algorithm and if somebody do not want to mine VMC using his gpu with sgminer for scyptn then he will not use it if it would be x11. algorithm changes nothing - the same coin, the same mining software, the same gpu number people would like to use to mine. Exactly Then tell me why there is too many x11 coins? Is it not logic dictates that X11 has a larger adoption in the masses rather than scryptn? This is precisely my point, I am suggesting for a larger crowd, larger crowd means more miners and more volume for VMC traders, thus more lively network hashes and more public adoption of the coin.

PR release coming within 48 hours. The whales are panicking and have hurried their efforts to accumulate.
Prepare for a massive rise, this coin has been accumulated.
48 hours will be enough I think for a PR stunt, I am just wondering what will be the price of CRAIG right before the deadline. This coin is being DUMPED really Hard!

Has anyone made some staked coins already?
I make about 30 Craigs a day! Just looking for that perfect coin to lock in my POS investment that I can enter into miner contests - where people post pictures of their elaborate 100,000 USD rigs and I can beat there ROI with a picture of a shitty laptop with duct tape wrapped around it to hold it together. So POS is working? Thats good. I tried sending some coins from Bittrex to my wallet, and it was fast..pretty impressive ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
