Escrow is your choice but if you choose a well known member like ognasty or tomatocage you wont have any trouble and it will aid your sale.

These guys have literally handled $100k's worth of transactions through escrow without any trouble.

Quote
As for the escrow I don't trust anyone with my money or BTC unless they were a legit company

At this point your 1st post was a sales thread and you have no history here or any trust feedback so adopting your thought process why should anyone trust you with their money or btc?

As a newbie you will be asked -

a) to provide a pic of the miners with your username on a piece of paper in it.
b) are you happy to use Escrow for buyer protection.

What escrow system would you be talking about?  I didn't know the Bitcoin Forum offered such services?!

I've held on to this for 2 years now an have refrained from redeeming it, and I'd really like to sell it before I ever need to. I would like to get between 5-7 BTC for it but feel free to make any offer either in the thread or through PM. I will ship international and pay for shipping, and use an escrow that you've either used before or trust on this forum.  All offers considered, highest one takes it.

that pic top right looks a little strange, almost photoshopped.

That strange yellow glow around the coin that looks like its trying to hide the cut and paste over your sig on a piece of paper.

a pic of you holding the coin in 1 hand and your forum name on a piece of paper in the other would remove any doubt

Sounds good.

1.3BTC

Smiley Thank you for your bid, This would be the 7th of my Bitcoin artworks that would have ended up in Germany if you win. Seems Germans have a great appreciation for fine art. Something i did not know before.

The Germans love fine art -

But they used to just help themselves to it.

Only joking  Smiley

You seem to have forgotten your last for sale thread or to address any of the scam concerns.

Only 2BTC left, so you sold the other 5BTC in the last 3 days to some anonymous newbie?

Most self respecting scammers would at least change username before trying the same shit again only 3 days later  Roll Eyes

Looks like a scam tbh, having 2 new accounts hmm Huh

Why dont you address the scam accusations aimed towards yourself before accusing others -

searching for his registered email "zakpedley123@hotmail.co.uk" only comes up with the below search result -

Mentions the word "crime" so assume he's a serial scammer.

yep, noticed he's showing online for at least 1/2 hour and no response.

tread carefully if anyone wants to trade with op
2694  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I am selling 7 BTC for paypal on: November 29, 2014, 04:34:41 PM
Why were you looking to buy 5 yesterday and sell 7 today -

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=876506.msg9681709#msg9681709

Sounds like a scammer to me, the old "you send paypal first because its reversible" you then clear out the funds from the dodgy paypal account and disappear.

Posting your wallet address and a signed message from that address would be a good start to prove you actually hold 7 BTC

Be careful when dealing with Seri,

Looking at his profile his original posts were around borrowing BTC against 1 million $ property equity  Roll Eyes

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=607339.msg6822027#msg6822027

Then nothing for 6 months.  He now pops up again posting in all hardware for sale threads and his profile shows the password has been recently changed -

May possibly be a hacked old account.

No offense intended Seri but better safe than sorry so would recommend no shipping first and Escrow where appropriate.
2698  Economy / Auctions / Re: Advertise on this forum - Round 138 on: November 25, 2014, 07:24:19 AM

Are you retarded?

You bid 10 @ 1.5 followed by 10 @ 1.1.

a) there are only 8 slots.
b) in an auction you dont bid backwards.
2699  Economy / Auctions / Re: Advertise on this forum - Round 138 on: November 25, 2014, 07:18:33 AM
whats up with all these newbie shill bids  Huh

lots of different newbie bids within a few mins of each other + muppets bidding for 10 slots when there are only 8 available.

2700  Economy / Collectibles / Re: I am selling a 1 oz Pamp Suisse Gold Bar on: November 24, 2014, 11:16:57 AM
These are faked and on Chinese sites a lot, DO YOUR RESEARCH!

The fakes don't have serial numbers or a certificate.
Also, a lot of gold bars made in Saudi Arabia dont have serial numbers but they're real. I got a Canadian Mint one for my 18th birthday with no serial number but I brought it to multiple gold shops and they said it was real.

The fake pamp's do have serial numbers and certs.

An example -
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-oz-Pamp-Suisse-Pure-999-24K-GOLD-CLAD-BULLION-BAR-RARE-/321590609504?pt=AU_Exonumia_Medals_Tokens&hash=item4ae04b4660

I would advise Escrow until you get the bars XRF tested to prove authenticity.
