WOW!! The Medium post with a group of hackers that included "The Wonderful Wizard of Woz" onboard an Antonov makes Hacken probably the coolest ICO in a long time.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) With that kind of backing and mentoring, it will surely go a long way. There is simply no doubt that Hacken will be a major player when it fulfills its targets. Doesn't need no marketing..

Joined the bounties. Now all we need is a little bit of patience..It seems that the project hasn't gotten as much traction as it deserves. I suppose that why we are here.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .Lets spread out the word on this great idea!

i already joined 1st or 2nd round of airdrop (don't remember which one) should i do nothing to join 3rd round ?
From what I've seen till now, those in second round have been automatically registered for the 3rd round too. You should maybe checkout your dashboard on https://airdrop.postoken.org/You could also, in fact, mint with your previous coins if you already have enough coinage.I just joined in the 3rd airdrop. Can't wait to start minting. Its pretty innovative.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

if my bitcointalk account up rank jr member, can i will receive more PoSToken ?
yes, your rank and reward will be updated automatically. hi dev! what about the signature? may i change it for the member's one after claiming signature bounty being jr. member? because it seems to be the offense of the rule "Once you applied, you cannot change the signature until the airdrop ends". so would be nice to hear your official answer about that before changing the signature. thanks! I too have the same confusion. I checked in telegram and was told that it'll get updated automatically. I have changed my signature now as per the rank. I suppose the rule that you quote must be about changing your signature to some other entity/ Coin. Shouldn't be a problem as long as its PoSToken.

I think I'm gonna buy me some KICK now ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) First wanted to wait until bounties are released, but the price is good now and will hold anyway. So whats the latest that going on with KC. This is one of the first ICOs I bought into when I was just starting out.Is it doing any good? Not much positive news in view of the Bitcoin fork blood rush going on right now. Although the crypto world keeps springing surprises and novel techs..Exciting times!!

I signed up for the 3rd airdrop and didn't get anything. I have no clue why...followed all the rules. I even put it in my phone so I could be one of the first to apply for the 3rd airdrop.
Are they still sending out coins and I should just wait. I just barely missed the first airdrop and the second airdrop got full so fast.
So bummed...
The 3rd airdrop is ongoing and you can check the status of your stakes on the dashboard at https://airdrop.postoken.org/ . I don't think you will get anything as of now. The dashboard will show you the number of PoSToken you are eligible for. They will be sent to your connected ETH account, including those from Signature bounty at the end of the 2-week period.

I think there is still no need to not believe an ICO which has a real-use token, great team, some proof of work already done and are transparent in their effort. It is just like trusting your talented second cousin to make it when you lend him some money to start his own business. He may or may not make it, but your decision would still be right.

Voted for PoSToken. 1.) Small initial airdrop with rest to be stake-mined in next 15 years. 2.) They aim to define the PoS standard for issuing Proof-of-Stake Tokens. 3.) Its free and not really completely pre-mined like some other coins. 4.) Gives an opportunity to the first wave of 'Crypto mainstreamers' to be a part of the future. Go get yours via bounties/airdrop/trading AND Staking. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2110712.0

"I meant vittles, but thank you for telling me the time. Have Masala - Will Travel."Umm..Lets not make it about the Indian call center guy with a foreign accent..! ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I understand that it must be really annoying to deal with such customer care..The "Accented brown guy trying to sell me a toaster" stereotype probably.. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

All Bitcoins and altcoins investment schemes and funds are scam
Such a blanket statement helps nobody. Not all alt-coins are scams. Period. Anyways. I have been receiving SMS since morning about this new "BitJob ICO" backed by BGF. They have now supposedly "delayed it due to intense demand on the website", just to convince people that its very legit. I don't know how they got my number. Probably they bought it off some other website as its easy to buy anything here in India. I suppose a lot of people would be receiving these new messages and will end up losing their money in it. Sad.

As an Indian who grew up in US, I would like to better understand how are cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technolgies doing in India. Any insight on investments, mining, token sales, meetups, and the general interest level (both public and private sector) would be appreciated! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Seeing our naturally inquisitive nature I think we'll do quite well in a while. Right now, that other typical habit of ours, that is, propensity to jump into anything tht promises 'quick bucks' sees a lot of people jumping into bitcoin through offline methods. Like dishonest merchants peddling it to people looking to bury their under-handed income. Read about the post from @tmpf on the scam started in the name of BitCoinGrowthFund. Please take part in the poll started to give your opinion too. Thanks.. BTW..How old are you in crytpo??

The BGF drama has reached such a level that I got an SMS telling me about some BitJob ICO. Everybody knows that the Indian youth and students are desperate for jobs right now. BGF is utilizing that to come up with this scheme of investing user funds into ICOs of their choice (The ones they have supposedly vetted).
If their past record is anything to go by, this is another way to dupe people out of their hard-earned money AND give a bad name to this new technology and in turn to India (which I am more concerned about). Please read up on them and ask the people around for stories of them being duped.
Here's a great thread started by legendary member tmfp. He did some very thorough research on these guys. His research and experience of numerous people shows that BGF and Amit Bhardwaj are not mending their ways. Anybody who has fallen for this scam, or if you know somebody, Please share your story. Thats the only way to get the word out.

Hoe cute!!! He takes BTC from the hundreds of non-tech or new people. Buys shitload of ICO coins (He may be behind the ICO too), gets the usual bonus and tells his FUCKING STUPID customers that he is getting them a bonus. A lot of guys are going to lose more money if they don't read this thread before that.

This lies tantalizingly in front of me but I am behind the office VPN right now. Don't have enough privileges to install foxit reader, leave alone DeepOnion.. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) .. There used to be these Linux USB operated OS right?? Time to get one of those probably.

I contacted a lot of students from the facebook group of VIT, Pune where this session was to be organized. Two of them were kind enough to reply and said that they had passed on this information to their Dean and Student body. Hopefully, it didn't go through. In the meantime, it seems that there are people all around who have put money into Amit Bhardwaj's MCAP token and are now waiting for their stuck bitcoin. The price has risen enough now. I hope he'd be kind enough to share some profits with the poor souls in a while. He seems to have taken a back-step in the media too and is focusing more on his old trick, direct person-to-person ensnaring. Well, people who fall for it only have themselves to blame. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I just want this not to give a bad name to Crytpo in India.

There will be no effect on Bitcoin price if the Govt tries any intervention. The share of transactions and holding in India is miniuscle. Even if the government outlaws it, the maximum effect will be on those who have bought in massively. For those who are just in it for being a part of the bitcoin revolution, Govt. intervention won't matter.
The Price is not a bubble anymore and even if it is, it won't burst under the pressure of our governement. The US, Japanese and Koreans?? Maybe. Till then, buy all the bitcoin you can. And most importantly, be a part of the newer things coming up. For example, checkout my signature link to DeepOnion. Its an opportunity not to be missed.

It seems possible that bitcoin has now moved out of the Privacy debate. Majority of the people using a bitcoin wallet will no longer care about privacy nor will have it guaranteed by it. As far as the original question goes a lot of people have different responses to this 'intrusion of privacy' thing. There are those who are paranoid enough to make a fuss about Amazon knowing about their shopping habits. That seems a bit of an exaggeration. Then there are those who are concerned about their information like address, Credit card info being safe and secret. Isn't this just another hazard of our human activity?Like driving? If you drive a car, there's always a chance of a Road accident but we all follow rules, hope the others do and try to feel safe despite the fact that it never has been. So, if you need that kind of privacy (which keeps your accounts safe), maybe using a Tor-Node for bitcoin or an Anonymous Tor-based coin would be the answer.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .. Lastly, we have the heroes/activist group of people who need anonymity because they are the Julian Assanges and Edward Snowdens of the world. Those are people who I guess are already smart enough to hide themselves. They will just need to be off-grid with a trusted sphere of people around them. To answer whether we as normal consumers/ citizens need or even can have privacy, well, Nobody can guarantee privacy without regulations and law & order. Just like nobody can guarantee safety without your town sheriff. (Although I assume, a lot of people in USA like to keep safety in their own hands, which is quite a cultural thing; But frankly, some of the things you guy do are just hard to understand!!.. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ) Privacy is a right but if the powers that be want to interfere, then their's prolly little we can do. So be in the second group of people and try to be safe by being vigilant.

I think as long as the alts that you have invested in are sound and you look forward to following their technology in some way then you shouldn't panic. At times like these, Just follow the technical progress and try to get to know about it a bit deeply. Though, if you are only in this for trading and getting to the moon, then this must be pretty hard. Take heart in the knowledge that Stratis and Sia are both promising projects that have been delivering consistently. Holding long term will surely get you even or into a profit. Although one lesson we can all take from this bloodbath is.... ALWAYS...ALWAYS HOLD ONTO SOME PART OF YOUR BITCOIN..ITS THE BOSS.. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

In a bizarre incident, A Russian tourist had to beg for alms near an Indian temple after he could not access his cash due to a blocked ATM.. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) How would this have turned out if he had bitcoin or access to it? No fuss hey. Just a small transfer from a friend or using his own safely put away paper wallet/ trezor etc. Cryptocurrencies can really solve a lot of cash related issues pfor tourists. The absurd fees and rules on forex make it a nightmare. Here's the link to the story: https://m.indiatimes.com/news/india/russian-tourist-forced-to-beg-at-tamil-nadu-temple-after-his-atm-card-gets-blocked-331449.htmlFunny he almost looks like Vitalik from a side view.. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
