2701  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: June 19, 2021, 09:11:34 PM
I don't know if this small detail is worth adjusting under Bustadice. I am a little familiar with the withdrawal options of it.

Basically, the withdrawal fee is dependent on the Bitcoin network congestion. There are 2 options one can use to withdraw.
1. Instant withdrawals - Withdrawal is processed instantly. Fee is usually in the optimum range for the transaction to be confirmed in the next block
2. Other withdrawals - Not instant but processed with in 24 hours. The fee is usually low but still dependent on how congested the Bitcoin network is.
2702  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [BITCOIN|DASH|LITECOIN MIXER] [LOWEST FEE 0.4%] [HIGH VOLUME] BITMIX.BIZ on: June 19, 2021, 08:54:37 PM
bit-mix.biz
It's new mirror service? Has anyone used this service?
Nope, It's a scam website trying to impersonate bitmix.biz which has been offline for quite a while.

If you check out how bitmix.biz looked like in January 2021 before going offline, you will see that everything was copied from by the scammers from the original website except the support email address and tor address.
2703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sofiya scamer? on: June 19, 2021, 08:27:13 PM
If you read the forum rules. Having multiple account is allowed so long as someone is not evading bad or red trust. So everything is OK for Sofiya until he or she starts scamming, cheating on bounties or breaking forum rules
18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

Or they could also be two different people operating one bounty management service.
2704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 18, 2021, 10:02:17 PM
England continues the journey of lack of persuasion despite all the treasures it possesses without benefiting from them.
Scotland is a respectable and daring team and even excelled in its clearest chances and greater courage most of the minutes of the match. Even in the Czech match, it was very good. I hope they qualify among the best 3rd, and we will see them in the next round because they deserve it.
Southgate and more question marks over his choices, substitutions and ideas.
Imagine, Harry Kane made only 19 touches in the entire 74 minutes he played. Even the Scotland goalkeeper had more touches than him  Grin
This is what we have always been talking about. The way the media hypes the players after a few good qualification matches and when it reaches to the business side of competitions. They crumble.
2705  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 18, 2021, 09:12:20 PM
2,865/1!! how is that even possible? All Pre Live.. and he had a decent stab at it too.  Shocked Shocked
Jesus Christ! 2,865/1? Wow. This guy is either an expert at betting or randomly struck gold thanks to insane luck. He won nearly 9 grand by placing a miniscule bet. Loving these accumulator wins.
Very impressive, isn't it?

I think it was just lots and lots of luck, for sure. Even an expert might need luck to pull off such a win  Grin

I am just Imagining if he had staked $50 or $100  Shocked
2706  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: June 18, 2021, 08:43:28 PM
If we got booted from Nitrogen for winning too much, are we allowed to create an account at Nitrobetting? I went on a hot streak at Nitrogen which is extremely rare for me. Now that I'm back to my losing ways I just want to know that I can play here without any repercussions. Obviously if I go on a hot streak again I'll get booted from Nitrobetting, which is totally within their rights!
But the people behind the two platforms are controversial, as seen by the complaints about Nitrogen sports over the years. Any reason why you still want to do business with them via their sister site even after being banned from Nitrogen sports?

Anyway, I think one can still register in the new platform too.
2707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity and Privacy while using Bitcoin. Which one is the right word to use? on: June 17, 2021, 11:19:09 PM
If the transaction is not linked to your identity, it is still because you maintain privacy because no one will disturb you of anything.
I mean, how do you maintain privacy minus people tracking your address? As soon as you buy BTC let's say using p2p. It means the other party who sold you the Bitcoins now knows your address and how you are probably going to spend Bitcoins in your transactions, even if you are anonymous.

I don't think that's privacy. The bitcoin blockchain is transparent. I personally don't think transparency and privacy can be in the same sentence, but transparency and anonymity can.

No, it is private. Example of anonymous transactions are that of monero in which no record of public ledger, so nothing known about the transaction.

Do not get it confused. The question people always ask is 'is Bitcoin transaction anonymous? Not is 'the person making use of Bitcoin anonymous'? Bitcoin transactions are not anonymous but the person making use of it in a way the Bitcoin is not linked to him is anonymous, while the person needs to maintain privacy in order to remain anonymous, but Bitcoin transaction itself is not anonymous.

What you are saying about Monero transactions is that they are rather private and anonymous if the parties in the transaction decide to be anonymous. Anything or transaction that has no public record or can't be viewed by the public is private, but something or transaction or donation can be anonymous and at the same time the transaction or what is donated can be viewed by the public.

Am not confused but from my understanding an anonymous transaction is a right term too, just like you have heard about an anonymous donation (you know what the donation is but the person who sent it is anonymous)
2708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Anonymity and Privacy while using Bitcoin. Which one is the right word to use? on: June 17, 2021, 09:59:17 PM
Over the years, people have interchangeably mixed up Privacy and Anonymity in regard to Bitcoin transactions. My native language is not English, so I would like to know from community members. Which is the right word to use?

According to Oxford Dictionary;

Privacy
Quote
a state in which one is not observed or disturbed by other people.

Here's what I think. Since the Bitcoin blockchain is a public ledger, transactions are not private, anyone can observe any transaction and any address using blockchain explorers. So even if the owners of the sending and receiving addresses are not known, the transaction is still not private. People can still be able to see the amount of Bitcoin spent and the time it was spent.

Anonymous
Quote
(of a person) not identified by name; of unknown name.

Anonymity from Wiki
Quote
Anonymity describes situations where the acting person's identity is unknown

So long as the addresses involved are not connected to any centralized service. There is no way the public can know about the identity of the sender and receiver of a bitcoin transaction. Therefore, i think bitcoin transactions are sometimes anonymous and not private

What do you think, members?
2709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kraken exchange CEO takes a jab at Elon Musk over altcoin dethrone Bitcoin on: June 17, 2021, 09:47:51 PM
I love Jesse but Elon is a volatile Aspergers sufferer , I really do not think it’s a good idea to poke him with a stick because if he retaliates which he likely will, it hurts all of us.
John Mcfee used to move markets, where's he now?  Grin

Eventually, people won't give a fuck about what Elon says and Bitcoin will move on. I think Elon Musk situation and tweets vs market movements keep getting exaggerated by mainstream media. I personally don't feel his tweets move the Bitcoin price these days.
2710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowing Bitcoin on: June 17, 2021, 09:32:25 PM
Though each Bitcoin transaction is recorded in a public domain,
I think a more meaningful word you are looking for here is a public Ledger, also what is referred to us the blockchain. Public domain sound a little too vague.

While that keeps users transactions private, it also lets them or sell anything without easily been traced back to them.
The transactions are not private, though. It's a public ledger, remember? Any can see the transactions in and out of the address through blockchain explorers. What the people may not know is who sent or received the transaction.
2711  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: THEHUMANITYCOIN.COM --Fake team. Generated photo. on: June 13, 2021, 09:47:29 PM
I agree, though perhaps coldice doesn't have the knowledge or tools to do a deep dive into the fakery that was employed here--I don't know what was going through coldice's mind when he decided to endorse the project, but I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt so long as he knows better next time.  Maybe lovesmayfamilis could share his research methods with him so that he doesn't end up in a situation like this again (assuming, of course, that coldice doesn't know what to look for)?
He has been advertising many scam projects if you check his post history. Most over the threads were deleted/edited on the 21 of Feb 2021 but luckily, there are archives.

coldice seems to have been hacked sometime back and probably changed hands a couple of times. The most notable password change being on 2/19/2021 7:25:14 AM according to bpip - https://bpip.org/Profile?id=389324

Posting style changed after a long break and 2/21/2021. Most of the posts, got edited or deleted. Nobody should trust the current person behind the account.
2712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: THEHUMANITYCOIN.COM --Fake team. Generated photo. on: June 13, 2021, 04:44:07 PM
I didn't realize There are these accusations until today. I have learnt my lesson. Have removed the scam projects.
What a way to mess up your Hero member account for a couple of bucks.

Don't tell me you didn't know have to make research about projects you are about to advertise until today. There are search buttons and search engines everywhere, how could you miss that?

In this era, even a 10-year-old knows how to search for something using Google. Come on.
2713  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Transfer from binance.us to binance.com on: June 13, 2021, 04:33:07 PM
You used 2 different valid IDs, but details are the same, right?

Like your name, your face on the documents, date of birth etc. Basically you are the same person (a citizen of the US) owning both accounts and one of the platforms clearly states in the Terms of service that they don't want to do any business with a US citizen.

They may not block your binance.com account right now, but with increased activity in the future, they could connect the dots. All I am saying is just be careful. It's no guarantee thing will stay them same for long.

2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 12, 2021, 09:59:06 PM
I was really afraid when I saw Eriksen falling to the ground. They gave him CPR and I was really relieved to see him alive while they were taking him. I hope that Eriksen gets well very quickly.
It was really a very tense moment, especially when I saw one of the medical personnel giving him CPR. All my good weekend mood died instantly. I am however a bit relived to discover that his condition stabilized in hospital, according to reports.

Disappointed, the match had to be played with in a couple of hours later after all the trauma and shock the players and fans faced

I wish him a quick recovery.
2715  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Copy/Paste on: June 12, 2021, 09:24:29 PM
The punishment for Plagiarism is usually a "permanent ban" which means there is almost no room for second chances. Like 99.9% of cases of permanent ban will never be unbanned.

There are very few have been cases where users were unbanned, but it was mostly members who heavily contributed positively to the forum in the past.
2716  Other / New forum software / Re: Be Back at EpochTalk on: June 12, 2021, 09:11:22 PM
Then how about just turning it on for a week then some users will have the right to keep their moving avatars here from there, example is the licking boob of Vod. Some old users would still prefer their old avatars that represents them from the start up until now, and  think that's for sure.
I think once this forum is migrated into Epochtalk. All user settings remain the same, otherwise, what would be the purpose of the database that admin keeps backing up?  Wink

Those who have animated avatars here will still have them over there unless Theymos just decided to turn off everything concerning animated avatars.
2717  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: My Bitcoin Balance not showing - 2021 on: June 12, 2021, 08:51:00 PM
Did you back up your account before the incident?

If yes, then you can still regain access to your funds using this link: https://login.blockchain.com/#/recover. You will need to fill in the 12-word phrase. Please note that this process will create a new wallet ID

2719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that this Gold/Precious metal boom poses a threat to Earth? on: June 11, 2021, 09:45:17 PM
In order to answer your question, I need you to first answer my question. Beginning with the subject title.

Do you have any idea how much of the environment and ecosystem has been destroyed and degraded for centuries, all in the name of mining the precious metals?

Why is it an issue now with Bitcoin mining using just a small part of energy, most of which I believe is not even from fossil fuels?
2720  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ticket 280067 freewallet scamming me on: June 11, 2021, 09:31:54 PM
Of all wallet available. I still don't understand why you chose to use freewallet. Besides it being a custodial wallet, it's one of the worst wallets you will ever use in the crypto world. Lots of scam accusations and complaints about it everywhere.
Take a look at the reviews on trustpilot - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/freewallet.org
