Given the same password reset dates and now today the same twitter account details, is it safe for us to say that Fozone and sameme are alts and to add Fozone to the list in the OP?
2702  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to Secure Your Assets on Exchange in the Event of Your Death? How it Works: on: March 19, 2021, 09:47:52 AM
I strongly recommend users keep a minimum amount of crypto on any exchange (for the duration of trades only) given there is a strong likely hood the owners or hackers of exchanges will cause your exchange of choice to cease trading and you are left with nothing.
2703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have a Bitcoin exit strategy? on: March 19, 2021, 09:42:50 AM
I joined the signature campaigns about nine months ago as I regularly post and see it as a means to receive bitcoins that I can hodl indefinitely (ten plus year objective) given that I haven't had to buy them. And, any time I do actually need bitcoin, I can buy them for the going rate and use them immediately without worrying that they'll go down in price.

Some of the SigCamp funds have gone into opening Lightning Network Channels and some have gone into paper wallets.
2704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: he pays 5000 for a bitcoin transfer on: March 19, 2021, 09:37:14 AM

Just imagine you've earned the bitcoin over many years and now you see them turn into about $50,000 - Ask yourself - would you be willing to sweep your funds to enable you to cash out - but have to pay 10% in transfer fees to ensure the funds went where you want them to the same day?

That much fees is simply super expensive and not sustainable in the long run! I see the sender paid 107 Sat per byte fees which is less than the current fees required.

I paid 20 sats per byte yesterday to send a TX and it's already confirmed.
2705  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling 1777.58 Acreage Lunar Deed (transferable) - for 1 BTC on: March 19, 2021, 09:10:02 AM
No-one owns La Luna therefore UniqueCollector u=3178261 is trying to scam you.

Code:
~UniqueCollector

By rights someone should start a Flag against this user for blatantly attempting to sell something they don't own.
2706  Economy / Speculation / Re: get a loan and reinvest it on: March 19, 2021, 09:00:25 AM
Good call...

except for the fact that you have to repay the principal and interest, plus you'd probably have to pay tax on the interest earned which would probably leave you with a percent.

If you plan on walking away with $10,000 you'd probably have to loan ($2,000,000 X 4 = $8,000,000 ) - no bank is going to loan that kind of money without collateral (and they'd be unlikely to loan for a volatile commodity such as Bitcoin)
2707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price would hit $288,000 this year, according to this metric on: March 19, 2021, 08:55:17 AM
You should always factor in a shock drop at anytime for any reason, wars, pandemics, the wrong click of a mouse... The list of reasons are as numerious as the ones for why the price might go up.

If the price rise was guaranteed to never go down, then the price of bitcoin would be worth the same as Dilithium Crystals.
(Brace for impact)

sameme merit swaps with Fozone:

Fozone and sameme have the same password reset dates:

In the first instance within five minutes of each-other, in the second instance, within five hours of each-other.

Is anyone in the contest following or betting on March Madness college basketball? Did you fill out a bracket?
Tomorrow a game I like is Tennessee to beat Oregon State. I took Tenn -8.5 (and the Tenn 1.22 ml is worth adding to a parlay).
https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/game?gameId=401310902

I'm locked into betting with freebitco.in in part because other gambling sites block users from Australian I.P. addresses - so I'm relyant on the games that they offer bets on.  (they did have the Rugby Six Nations for one round).  With TX fees they way they are shifting funds around isn't too advisable at the moment.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OSCARS 2021- Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: March 19, 2021, 08:13:44 AM
Hmm, interesting - I'll go with:

Best Picture: The Trial of The Chicago 7

Best Actress: Andra Day (The United States Vs. Billie Holiday)

Best Actor: Chadwick Boseman (Ma Raineys Black Bottom)

Best Director: either: Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) OR Chloe Zhao (Nomadland)

Best Supporting Actress: Youn Yuh-Jung (Minari)

Best Supporting Actor: Lakeith Stanfield (Judas And The Black Messiah)

The other categories I couldn't say for certain, I may comeback and review another time.
2711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] - Union / League / Super / Sevens on: March 19, 2021, 07:59:06 AM
Week 2 of the NRL 2021 season is already underway with the Parramatta Ells narrowly beating the Melbourne Storm 16-12.  The Newcastle Knights are ahead of the New Zealand Warriors at half time in their game with the Gold Coast Titans and Brisbane Broncos due to kick off in an hours' time.

I'm expecting the Broncos to narrowly beat the Titans as rumors emerged this week that a second Brisbane based Rugby League team is being considered for entry to the NRL.
2712  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happened to Yoshie? on: March 19, 2021, 03:15:04 AM
@shasan hasn't posted any "loan default" information on Yoshie's trust feedback page, so they may have an extended repayment arrangement - other lenders have granted extended repayments due to covid.  (Has anyone asked @shasan to review this thread?)

shasan    2020-01-25    Reference    Active Loan.

shasan    2020-01-13    Reference    Repaid non-collateral loan before the scheduled repayment date, highly trustworthy person.

As to the password reset, perhaps someone saw that Yoshie is inactive and tried to guess their password?

Yoshi remains at DT1 until the reset in April (unless they both post at/near the start of April and are selected into DT1 for that month)  -  It would seem at least one user has decided Yoshie isn't coming back:

Other than a couple of PM exchanges many months ago, I have no other information to shed light on their whereabouts (except to say I hope they are well and look forwards to new contributions to the Known Alts thread)

Hi all,

I'm just playing catch up here - My name isn't on the google spread sheet - I put down a couple of bets (that didn't win) on the first thread and had a couple of bets (that did win - but alas I never put them on any thread).  Is my starting purse still what it was in the other thread?  Or, is it what it is now?
2714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still a good time to invest or not on: March 19, 2021, 02:16:42 AM
It might seem like a risky move, but if you invested in bitcoins when they were much lower, now would be the time to transfer into various altcoins that are on the up-and-up.

It really depends on what your end game for your investment is.

Hello everyone!

I'm back from a few days break.  I wasn't able to post a couple of wagers I'd made on the Grammys before I went away but thought people might like to see them.

(yes, I understand these don't count as I never posted them prior to the draw)

I'm home now and am posting the following:

Spurs over Aston Villa on the 21st of March:

Bitcoin at the end of March:

2716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: March 19, 2021, 01:38:37 AM
OP, can you explain this?
Or you are part of the team and you are the content writer of the website?
If yes, at least you need to link your site and gives the link in your profile. But you don't do it.
So, I really doubt that it is you.

The OP hasn't been online for a week now (three days after this thread was created) - I really have my doubts that the OP is who they say they are (they probably started the thread in the hopes of gaining some merits then farming the merits on to their main account)

Regards of how many times GT tells people that they've reached out to all users, at the end of the day there are a number of users (myself included) who have never been contacted concerning our dust laiden accounts.
2718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: March 17, 2021, 05:40:33 PM
There are allegations but non proven that he manipulated Dogecoin prices by mentioning it in his tweets but I see nothing wrong with his tweets.

There is no proof he personally profited from tweeting about either Dogecoin or Bitcoin so he did not really do anything wrong.

I don't understand how Elon Musk can continue to manipulate Dogecoin and how people run after on tweets... someone will be disappointed and the whole cryptospace doesn't need this image.

If someone (such as Elon Musk) were shorting (or even longing) the price of *any* Crypto currency then they wouldn't have to put their hands in the pockets to buy a Billion Dollars worth of Crypto to then profit.  Instead they would just have to talk up (or down as the case may be) and profit off of the payout.
2719  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Theymos really a lauda? on: March 17, 2021, 05:18:55 PM
Can someone guess what account is Lauda using now?

Please don't tell me he is not active in forum anymore, you know that cats have 9 accounts lives  Smiley

Just sit back for a while and read the threads where people are praising "Lauda" the most (especially if it is in the exit-thread) and you might just find the answer you are looking for.  Just saying.
2720  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network FAQ on: March 16, 2021, 11:35:38 AM
I theory there shouldn't be any net loss as the inbound/outbound values should tally up to the same values.

In saying that, I like the abacus analogy where one/some of the counters are shifted from one side of the rod to the other.
