Hi utopianfuture,
Just checked IPO thread and found this sentence. " So DO NOT SEND the fee to NEM from an exchange, you would need to withdraw to your account first" Unfortunately, I used the exchange to send the fee and didnot see this info. Further more, I dont think it is a right way to justify, please see my points below. 1. Someone could just create many Blockchain accounts and send the fee to IPO address. Since each blockchain account has it's bitcoin address, therefore, one individual could have many bitcoin address to send fee. 2. If someone dont know the option 1, he could create virtual servers to create more bitcoin address. 3. NXT user is easy to create accounts through different password phrase. 4... many other ways to create different addresses.
Therefore, it doesnot make sense to track bitcoin address.
And please help to count me in for NEM IPO.
Thanks, Wei Chao
Hi Wei Chao, The same situation here. I sent the fee through exchange as well and not sure if I have the same receive address. Actually, I had another user name "anyboy" which has lost password and not able to retrieve. So I create this account to send the fee again. If I cannot be in IPO, I must be cursed and will keep fighting with this unfair judgement and treatment. Keep in touch. No worries, guys. I believe the rule here is just want to be more fair. As long as you sent the fees before 90 you should be one of our IPO members. Cheers! I hope utopianfuture could read this thread more carefully as I sent fee through exchange as well. As a student, I don's have much experience and money. Hopefully, I could be one of NEM IPO member so that I could tell my classmates NEM and NXT. Ha, looks like there are many like me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I noticed there is a Chinese IPO translation version: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=437140.msg4803964Many Chinese don't understand English very well, and only refer to this version. They may also don't know what is the change on the main thread as the Chinese version is not changed. Well, I only hope the IPO could be fair as someone may create muliti Bitcoin accounts as well. Unlucky, I used exchange to send fee as well. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) What's the solution now? Am I still in? If there's a "Y" next to you in the stakeholderlist you're alright.

What do you guys reckon 1 Nem could be worth after it launches? Judging by NXT I predict anything between $0,01- $0,03
I think that's very ambitous. It took NXT a while to get where it is and there are far mor NEMs than NXTs. I'm not going to estimate though cuz I'm always wrong about this kind of stuff ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

You are there. USE THE TABS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SPREAD SHEET to find your username on the page you posted.
When, approximately, will generate the final list of participants? For example my name there is still no (Elena82). I was asked to wait and not to worry. If you want, I can provide all the evidence of my translation 1500 NXT There is not eta but I'm guessing it'll be this week. I'm going to have to again to ask you to wait and not to worry ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We're only human and we have jobs so plz be patient. Everyone will get their stake (except those fraudsters).

From now on plz follow these simple rules when posting a complaint:
- If you can't find your username make sure you have checked all the tabs (visible at the bottom) in the spreadsheet. - If you are marked with "duplicate hash" plz provide a link to your original post as well so we can check your TX faster.
As Utopian explained we need you to send another small amount to confirm the address is controlled by you. A screenshot of the TX in your wallet will also do.
We can't accept fund from exchanges because we can almost never make sure it's really your account. It will be harder to proof yourself (not impossible though) if you've sent the fee from an exchange.
Thank you for understanding.

Hello, i made a big mistake because i´m very new with this all. I actually saw that in the stake-holder list i am marked as a bogus-transaction.
The point is that i written only my NXT Account ID and forgot to write the tx-id: Transaction id: 7900843631168107124 I corrected it in post #1502 page 76 in the registration-thread 2 and hope that you can correct it and make me a fully confirmed member and not a bogus transaction one.
Thank you very much with best regards
I've added a comment about that in the stakeholder list. If your hash turns out to be unique you're all set ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

mfg Danny
Just going to translate that real quick: I'll just write this in german.
Unfortunately my english is bad.
I'm in thread 1 and group 3.
What do I have to do now ?
It would be really nice if someone could explain to me in german what I have to do.
Being in group 3 doesn't mean you have to do anything. If you have only bought one stake with one account there's no problem. However we encourage anyone to be active in the forum and participate in our movement. I'd also encourage you to learn english otherwise participation is going to be tough ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) in german: In Gruppe 3 zu sein heisst nicht das du irgendwas machen musst.

I'm now in an embarrassing position. I am at University in China. I was telling my friends, some Chinese some not about Bitcoin and how they should move to something like NXT if they are worried about the Government closing down exchanges as we are politics majors and have various discussions on government control etc. So over a week or so when I met friends in the Uni on site coffee shop I set them up with Bitcoin wallets showed them how they work and sent my own money to them to take part in NEM and told them they needed to log onto this site and ask for a stake.
So I come to check my stake and there is a sarcastic remark on the google doc and all the wallets I legitimately set up and paid my own money to are now highlighted in Cyan! You said one account for one stake and you also said tell people about it and spread the word which is exactly what I did so what the hell?
I'm pissed cause I assume I'm being lumped together as a sock puppet maker which I cant disprove or prove I realize either way. Am I even gonna get my Bitcoin back. I promised these guys I would get them into something I now regret. Its gonna be really embarrassing when they ask me what to do next and I say sorry the money is gone.
By the way if I wanted to hide my tracks I could of easily, you don't study and use the internet in China and not know every possible way to hide transactions and communication. So I took the offer at face value to spread the word about NEM and how wrong was I....
Now come down - take a deep breath - better now ? I can't find that remark in the stake holder list - which google doc are you talking about ? What are the account names of the other fellas you are refering to ? Either you get your stake or you get your btc back. If you have bought multiple stakes with multiple accounts you should be alright and you guys will get your stakes. It's a promise that was made on the frontpage and that promise will be kept. NEM is about fairness remember ? The only people that need to be afraid off being refunded or loosing their money are people that bought more than 10 stakes no matter how many accounts they used. Its in bright Cyan on the Google doc, I am calm. I didn't count but I expect it will be a couple over 10 accounts. I know how it looks but I paid in full, did them in good faith and now get lumped with fraudsters. You're talking about tha hash check spreadsheet - i see. Well you can't blame us for thinking that >10 newbies payed for with the same account could be someone trying to get an unfair amount of stakes. Also being marked does not mean anything other than that there's suspicion and you already said you know how it looks. If all your buddies are willing to chip in and contribute in our movement that there will be no problem. If you're the only one who is ever going to be active then we'll probably refund you at least of a couple of stakes but ultimately that's not up to me. There will be a public auditing where everyone will be heared. In any event you will NOT loose any money.

I just noticed my name is listed on the "Hash check from thread 1"
The user Prusessor posted my hash! He did post before me, but that was because I was having trouble with bitcointalk allowing me to post.
The hash is 242c20a93bd2badb93bca913c34e9f0b394613ce1539f014a91eb5002e481f36
I would really appreciate it if you could send a very small amount to 14jyvxwY4Bj4Jcv2iSHdowNZqeEaQ7xDkj so I can prove that it was in fact me. I will send back whatever is sent. Thank you
I'm sorry to hear that but you'll have to send a very small amount to us to proof that it's your account. A screenshot will also suffice. Thank you. Not a problem here is a screen shot. Of my bitcoin wallet showing my address. http://imgur.com/iGzlIfzor... what would you like a screenshot of. I currently don't have any bitcoin in my wallet. I need to sell some things and transfer which could take some time. Please message me where you would like me to send a small amount if the screen shot is not sufficient. Thank you Please provide a screen shot of the transaction not your receiving address. Thank you. Here you go Thanks again. https://i.imgur.com/1iHUHIx.jpgSOLVED: I've marked your username as legit in the stakeholderlist.

From the page 1 of Registration thread: "After we reach a critical mass, we will launch the NEM genesis block, (we plan not to have more than 4000 accounts in total, see FAQ below). A total of 4 billion NEM will be distributed equally to all adopters." adopters or stakes? Another thing to be clarified: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billion 1,000,000,000,000, one million million, 10 12, bi-million 1,000,000 2 in the long scale 1,000,000,000, one thousand million, 10 9, in the short scale It'll distributed among stakes and it should be short scale.

Hi, I posted this on page 56 of the second thread.

I just looked at the stakeholder list and my name isn't listed.
Please help. Thanks
You are there. 2470. People I don't mean to be rude but please look more carefully. The time that goes into looking at false alarms could be better spent. Thank you. I'm very sorry, I didn't realize there were multiple worksheets in the spreadsheet. No need to be sorry just wanted to put that out there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

oo : NEM evolution at work
I know its a bold claim but maybe we can pull it off.
I do like this one! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I think it'd be cool to have some wordplays that include nem. I'm sure many know HIMYM and the "Bro" wordplays like "Bropocalypse Now" and all the rest. Can't think of one right now though.

You can all read up on POI in the dev plan here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NhxTyi4Eo2D_1m1Ca8zvzQr0_RB0dgM2VuWXAIzcS-I/edit?pli=1 As I understand it it's pretty much a combination of 3 things. PON + POS + taking transactions into account = POI. I think it's a very elegant and fair approach. 1. You get something for running a node and are therefore providing infrastructure to the network. 2. You get something for owning coins which makes you trustworthy to some extent because why would you want to hurt a currency that you own yourself ? 3. You get something for being a heavy user of the currency i.e. actually using it. The point that someone could just circle coins is a good one but I don't think it's that much of a problem. For one you'd have to run different nodes as well because afaik only transactions between actually different nodes are being considered. It's not hard to run multiple nodes but it provides determent to some extent. Secondly it reallly depends on the balance between the 3 factors of POI how harmfull such an attack could actually be. Jaguar has a lot to think about ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
