^^^ Check back in a few days, I'll get around to testing mods on my card eventually. Also 8/10 thats pretty crappy, note to avoid sapphire 570s.
2703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Modified GPU BIOS for Mining on: November 29, 2017, 09:00:58 AM
notbatman can you help me with my Sapphire RX 570 Elpida ?  did you find for stability ? thank you Smiley

I've found stability it's just that some cards are made with crappy parts and produce hardware errors when the VRM is pushed above stock speed. Try the bios I posted it should work ok unless you got a crappy card.

It may be a while before I post a version with slower clocks, I only have the tools set up in widows and it a serious pain windows causes with the drivers when I put all the cards back after modding cards from other rigs. I'll need to test out mods on my crappy gamingx 570 (get the armor folks) before I post anything...

I just got a bunch of these Asus Radeon RX570's with 4 GB RAM and ELPIDA memory
Outta the box on Ethminer they run about 21.5 MH/S

I was wondering if you have any mods for this card?

I doubt these can do the magic 30 MH/S but I would love to see a stable 26 or more.

Thanks!

While I'm at it i should note that ayys are fake, they're just little trannys pushing the (((transhuman))) agenda. Packed into a tin can full of the latest stolen tech, launch 'em over Vegas and they're ready for the pizza party.

Nukes are fake too.

So is the internet.

There's a documentary made in the 1990's about nukes Trinity and Beyond I believe it was called, try watching it with a critical eye this time.

Dinosaurs are also fake, just FYI for you and for the idiot who doesn't science (Astargath) in a vacuum there remains aether, this gas-like material exerts a force on any objects within an evacuated chamber.

**** If you click "download" on any ROM(s) I post from pastebin.com then "save as" a .uue file then extract the compressed .7z archive with WinRAR, WinZip, etc.. and the bios_file.rom will be inside the .7z

Ok tried that.

In real life here is what happens.

Click on "download" and it automatically downloads as a txt file. No option to "save as".

I tried opening the txt file in notepad and then saving as .uue

But after that 7z will not extract it as it does not recognize it as a archive file.

What am I doing wrong? Better yet how about hosting ROM's on Google Drive or something.

Thanks

save it as a .uue file then open it and decode the .7z

Don't just use any ROM BTW, I'll mod your cards stock BIOS. My Windows computer is just a bit busy right now...

I've sailed around the world so I can tell you with absolute certainty that the world is in fact round.  I found out the other night that people actually still think the world is flat.  It blew my mind...

Nukes are fake too.

I've added the -allpools 1 option, we'll see if that changes anything...

As for mining on NH it's a double edged sword, It really does pay nicely even if new coins get totally fucked up. The skilled dev will tweak the difficulty re-targeting algorithm accordingly and the shitty dev will swap to ETH tokens. It's a hardening process, perhaps a hammer not a sword is a better analogy.

Killing you... really? The fact that the message is there means he's in the middle of fixing it.

You got stuck coins? No, then sit the fuck down.

I'm looking for an ETA here...

No, I don't want a complete explanation for gravity. I just want to know why gravity acts in the same way all over the Earth, i.e. why does everything fall straight down anywhere on the planet.

Objects denser than air will displace the atmosphere and it reacts by pushing them down causing them to fall, while objects lighter than air get pushed up causing them to rise.

Hello all,

I will get next week my 6 new GPUs from Type

sapphire rx 570 nitro+ 4gb

Any tips or existing bios mods for this card?
How much MHs is possible for ETH mining with this card?

Best Regards
Willi

30 MH/s ETH if you're lucky and patch the DAG issue with the blockchain driver or the ROCm kernel and grub edit if you're on Linux.

Hi Smiley

I have the same card with memory Elpida. It's ok for me ?

( sorry for my english, i'm french )

Yes, I modded the straps for both types of memory. However it looks like I used the old strap for Elpida, it should still work OK.

edit:

I updated it with the newer Elpida strap.

Crap, I was mining on nicehash via SSL when all my miners (linux/cc v10.2) got disconnected, when they reconnected they all complained about a server error then experienced a segmentation fault except for one rig that just froze.

My windows rig was connected with gatelessgate via the regular nicehash port and it's still up and running.

Here's a log snippet from one of the miners right before it crashed:

how many sols should i get on rig with 6x380x from AMD, i'm thinking about make a rig, winter is coming. Wink
amd r9 380x gives around 280 - 340 sol/s based on bios and clocks, amd products are better for cryptonote a moded rx 480 can give around 750 - 1000 h/s.

I think rx 480 is not that fast.
It wasn't but claymore's last cryptonight update did a miracle and now my rx 480 8gb gives 1000 h/s on monero.

I've experienced this same miracle.  Grin

thanks, i changed the bios. But when i rebooted my pc, the screen is in 800x600 and when i tried change the resolution this message appear... i tried reinstall the catalyst but the system continue showing this message, i has returned to original bios and the system and resolution returned to normal.

You need pixelpatcher to disable windows driver signature checking on 480 cards, linux checks but doesn't disable your card like windows. Windows doesn't enforce signatures on 580 cards.
