2701  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to Enslave U & Track U on: May 02, 2021, 08:15:26 PM
I understand their can be scam attacks in crypto-currency, all that is still same scam process that, attack the low secured, greedy and insensitive victims, and I said this before, scammers would still scam a victim in Fiat and not minding police report or what so ever.

Yes Satoshi never knew many of us -bitcoiners- and he can't possibly want or think it's possible for everyone who owns any amount of bitcoin to become rich, he originally created a financial master piece, which became a good value for investment and trading, and investment and trading traditionally can give profit or loss.
2702  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism: Venezuela raises monthly minimum wage to $2.40 on: May 02, 2021, 07:40:29 PM
I think the world is more concerned with Africa, -although am an African- in terms of bad economy and suffering, butj think Venezuela is one of those countries that the citizens are living a poor standard life, I have a Friend who I chat over the phone from Venezuela and she said their power outage has gone so bad and also they use the firewood, I can't remember the last time I used it saw a firewood.

I think their present government has failed the people of Venezuela, and I had taught my country had the worst minimum wage in the world, now Venezuela is officially my worst, and  the raise of the minimum wage by that amount is a summary of the life the people are living, you have to work multiple work to run a family with such wages
2703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uzbekistan legalizes cryptocurrency transactions on: May 02, 2021, 06:06:39 PM
Congratulations to every crypto-currency users in Uzbekistan, I think this is a news they would want to hear, I hope countries in Asia and Africa and some part of Europe.
But I would want to know that before now, if someone in Uzbekistan has a let's say binance account and traded on binance how would the government on Uzbekistan hold the liable, or is the ban on withdrawal to Uzbekistan banks.
2704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 02, 2021, 05:37:01 PM
The big match between Manchester United versus Liverpool has to be postponed for some time due to Manchester United supporters protesting and entering the Old Trafford field, of course a major blow to Manchester United at this time because they might be fined by the FA. Have respond from management about the owner of Manchester United right now.
This is more disadvantageous for Manchester United who are more mentality and I can say physically stronger than Liverpool, and with the almost qualification into the Europa league they would have no reason or less not to Field in their best players, I don't know about the rules or how much they would be fined by The FA for this but the fans must have lack unionism with the club to forfeit/disregard the aftermath of their actions, I hope things get better at the club.
2705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 02, 2021, 05:22:44 PM
Always Empty your bowel before going to a mind, body and emotionally draining work, I think the guy had it coming even maybe before he started gambling but acted tough until nature got the best of him.

Literally am against stressful gambling like the in-shop gambling house in my area where gamblers has to stand over the counter calling out games to cashiers who are well on their sit, I think gamblers need all the comfort possible from the gambling house.
2706  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hotbit crypto exchange has been hacked on: May 02, 2021, 02:56:04 PM
I see many Newbies not understandings that they should not depend on exchanges to house the coin, I think the amount of Newbies saving their coins on exchange like Binance are more than the Newbies saving their coins in a private wallet of theirs

Exchanges are a public company and every time are in the Target range of hackers/fraudster, this attack's might be defended by the exchange, still now and then they get defeated, and also exchange negligence.
2707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Puzzle from a California professor on: May 02, 2021, 07:26:12 AM
This would be a very difficult task except their are observable hint to decode the seed phase from, I think it's ba good idea if the writer uses it more for the use of instilling reading habits in the life's of people than making their book sorted for because of the opportunity of the bitcoin gain in them.

It would be interesting to read the book and I don't know if the story line is based on crypto-currency I think it would promote crypto-currency more.
2708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 01, 2021, 10:50:09 PM
The Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid win just compounds Barcelona worries, they had the chance to go ahead an be the league topers but they blew it, Atletico Madrid had to escape a draw by the whiskers, Real Madrid had a fine two goals win even as they have a UEFA champions league to prepare for, now the favor goes to Atletico Madrid, which I don't think they can hold it on.

Real Madrid is Barcelona strongest competition dragging the right to be the champions of Spain, meaning Barcelona has to be up to it, by winning there matches starting with Valencia away.
2709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The best time to buy on: May 01, 2021, 07:29:51 PM
It depends on your value aspect for bitcoin and what you want to understand about it, and which areas you want to put it into/in-use, recently had a friend of mine a rich man asking me about bitcoin along the line of our discussion I noticed he doesn't want to see it as an investment property, but mainly another alternative to bank, so now this is his aspect of understanding, this is why he want to buy, so even though the price is at $100k he would still get some bitcoin, so let people show or choose why they are interested in bitcoin before the strategies of buy dip and sell high.
2710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stay humble and stay safe on: May 01, 2021, 11:56:06 AM
I don't really get what you are trying to point or to share here. It is possible for a hacker to get or gain access to your private keys even if there is no criminal knows where you live. That is why there are security measures you can use to help you secured your crypto. You can use different crypto wallet and choose what type of wallet.
Firstly the hackers would first have something on you, before they can work on the information, silence/anonymity in crypto-currency is part of safety.
And these includes
+ Posting ID or addresses on bounty programs
+ Telegram involvement that's are unsafe
+ Free giveaways, faucet
+ Using your main crypto-currency wallet for example in passing down knowledge.

I think wealth is intoxicating, and especially when you have it in crypto-currency, and crypto-currency being the trend it can add to hype ego showing off you involved in it, and all that can be lethal.
2711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 01, 2021, 11:40:23 AM
Brighton - Leeds:  sorry but what are these odds?

Leeds are unbeaten in the last 6 games, 4 of those games were vs. City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd. On the other hand, Brighton lost to a relegated team like Sheffield last weekend, plus they stilll haven't won a game since march...so yeah, Brighton are the main favs in the books....why? Leeds double chance at 1.7, asian handicap -0 at 2.57...am i missing smth or what??
Leeds odds may drop further before the start of the game, I think Leeds are playing better than Brighton but Brighton has found a way to deliver in big matches and let down in matches you would expert they win,
I think Leeds with that odds may be a bonus or may be an enticing plan to get stakers going for Leeds in this match, Odds don't play the game, I predict a draw in between.
2712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how are instant bitcoin transactions done? on: April 30, 2021, 01:19:46 PM
You must be mis-concepting the whole scenario, firstly those are bitcoin address, you would try to get the transaction ID.
There isn't any must in bitcoin Transaction time, but research has it that more likely/averagely at ten minutes, it could be quick or it could take a day to some days also transaction fees are key players to the completion on a transaction,
In between is a quick time a problem to you.
2713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 30, 2021, 08:56:02 AM
I expected Manchester United to win yesterday game against Roma but I thought it would be a more stiffer competition for Manchester United, now it's almost or a reasonable done and dusted final entrance for Manchester United in the Europa league. In the other game Arsenal are down in the first leg but I think they can still resurrect their hopes in the second leg.
2714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Comers into crypto on: April 29, 2021, 09:10:15 PM
- Be ready to gamble or take risks, like other traders say, if you are not willing to risk, you won't make it to your goal.
This is a certified bone of contention, and I think it's important for newbies to know risk Management in trading, trading is highly challenging, and there is no absolutely perfect trader, even trading with a bot has had complaint remarks, I think newbies should know it's risky to trade, but not for them to see it as gambling,

Newbies can enroll in trading academy, ask for signals, have the service of a trader as a mentor, and low risk capital-wise.
2715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2021, 08:59:00 PM
I think city has become ripe enough to win the UEFA champions league title, and PSG to be is the toughest opponent they can face remaining in the competition, pep hasn't reached a final of the UEFA champions league since he left Barcelona with which he won it last, I think they are on their way to a historic moment,

PSG could also be proud of their achievement in the champions league in the last competition on this, although they aren't out of it yet, I think they are making a name for themselves in Europe.
2716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie warning on: April 27, 2021, 08:25:45 PM
you should not be afraid of forum rules, nothing is different from the moral rules of real life.
if you have honest intentions and behave that way, there is no reason to worry that you will be banned. We do not know each other personally, that does not mean we should not respect or steal from each other.
So, again. Forum rules = Nothing less and nothing more than in real life.
Correct, Especially to basis rules,  but to a microscopic extent the rules here differs from normal world, infact some rules here has nothing to do with normal world or what people may have been used to outside before coming here.

First the rules are much, from this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.msg7955645#msg7955645  you can see that they are 33 on the post, and some of which newbies hasn't understood before. Rules concerning bumping, and rule number 31 and many more might new to -Newbies- so it's always highly recommend for every -Newbies- to take a good understanding of all the rules.
2717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 25, 2021, 08:51:21 PM
Looks like the fight for TOP 4 in LaLiga is over
Sevilla are safe in 4th place and they are quite comfortable now. I think Sevilla are still on the right track so far and the title race is getting more interesting. If Atletico Madrid lose again today, I expect a lot from Barcelona to take the top spot and beat Granada. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are 1 goal behind Bilbao, but there is still plenty of time to see a different outcome.
It has now reached the end of the game and atletico Madrid are losing to atletico Bilbao, as it has endes like this it would be another three points dropped, and a dream weekend for Barcelona, who are a game in hand over Real Madrid, i think Barcelona would be 2020/2021 LaLiga champions and second by Real Madrid, Atletico should be thankful they had a good 2020 less they would be chased down by Sevilla, who has been playing well.
2718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is now a Super Hero in new Comic Book series by Marvel and DC Artists on: April 25, 2021, 08:18:54 PM
Animations, video, visual characters are always good ways to pass a vital information, and reducing the seriousness but still retaining the basis of the information -message- I think Satoshi actually needs a face, maybe faces or image, actually he does in my own imagination, and maybe other might have imagined what he looks like,

Bitcoin is widely known or there about now and I think fewer questions would be asked my teenager when watching the Satoshi character, and even if questions are asked it's good for knowledge responses from adults who knows about it.
2719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the significance of taking profit on: April 25, 2021, 07:53:40 PM
Maybe today some lost a lot of their portfolio, maybe from thousands of dollars to a hundred of dollars, this is why taking gains or profit are very important
since the start of 2021 the price of tokens have gone have breaking statistics, altcoins take an all-time high, and we are very happy all these things turn into a nightmare in a single day, almost all of my friends never touch their coin hoping they would reach another all-time high, the same thing that happens in 2017, now the market almost wipe all of our portfolios, what's the lesson of this, when there is a chance to take profit, take it, small or big, it's again, I saw some posting they earn millions, they are so happy, but after a day they regret it, why because they are so ambitious, and no contentment on what they have, always take gains, don't let it slip away or your regret it.
Or May be those who didn't take their profits are long term traders, I think those who are regretting the market fall -either bitcoin or alt-coins- are short term traders who got greedy and maybe strong mind when the price was only going up.

For long term traders this is just one of those days, or maybe weeks or maybe months, and they have seen this sequence happen over again, some would have even expected it earlier so they can add more bitcoin/alt-coin to their portfolio, I think the regrets is only an individual mindset, and what you had planned before investing.
2720  Economy / Economics / Re: "BTC not a currency per se but can be an alternative asset" China on: April 25, 2021, 07:41:47 PM
In an interesting turn of events, China's tone on BTC has "softened". Who was expecting this change in tone? Not me. Not after all the crack downs on exchanges or ICO bans and the works they are doing with their CBDC.

People's Bank of China deputy governor also said they will be looking to craft regulations to prevent speculations of BTC investments. They will most likely convene meetings with traditional companies that are interested.

How do you see this affect BTC and cryptocurrency in general?

Full story: https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/19/china-calls-bitcoin-an-investment-alternative-marking-shift-in-tone.html
China can lay claim to being the mother of bitcoin adoption, from research I have made they have the highest number of miners and maybe Bitcoin users, I think what was left for China as regarding bitcoin was the government, recognition.

This is very much over due, and although I don't like some of the Chinese regulations or their way of system, but in terms of there government contribution to things they approve, I think they do it very well, so this will help Bitcoin in many more ways.
