2701  Economy / Speculation / Re: A next generation "algo stable coin" is about to wipe out all stablecoins period on: July 25, 2022, 12:29:15 PM
Your topic title is not what your post is all about, your topic title is about an algorithmic stable coin that will wipe out all existing stable coins, but that is not possible though.

Also people should avoid algorithmic stable coins because they can lose their peg with the fiat they are pegged with and become just like those in the past like UST

GET READY FOR $100k+ BITCOIN!!!!!!!!!  Grin Cheesy Wink
That is possible but it can take like 2 years before it will happen, what I think will cause this to happen is after halving, a period people will fomo to buy bitcoin and a time people having bitcoin will want to buy more.

2703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 23, 2022, 07:15:28 PM
It's a good strategy if the team is performing in the early period of the game, there are gamblers who do this while seeing that the pick that they bet with is on the favoring side, instead of waiting for the final outcome they choose to cash out during the live game and pocket decent amount of profits.
I do not believe this, assuming you have $50 you used to bet and want to win $100, if the team you took is winning 5 goals to nothing already at half time, do you know that out of the $100 that you want to win, just $80!or less that you can be able to cash out at 60 minutes to the end of the match, even as the match is ending with that massive goal difference, the amount you can cashout will be increasing but can not still up to $100 until the match has finished. If someone is winning already, he will not even have the mind to cashout.
2704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 23, 2022, 08:37:44 AM
I don't think the gambling board would be as busy as it is right now if there were no more signature campaigns with requirements to post in the gambling section.
That is just true, we should enjoy the incentives while it lasts.

People will not only realize significant decrease in posting on gambling board, but all other boards on the forum especially the bitcoin boards too. There are traffic in those boards because of the signature campaign we join, 90% or 95% of signature campaigns on this forum are gambling signature campaigns, as the people are not posting on gambling board, so they will not also post on bitcoin boards too.
2705  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: July 23, 2022, 07:14:20 AM
you don't have to explain this far mate , because OP is asking about alternative for 1xbit site to play and not about the signature or something related to that .
Everything about 1xbit should be mentioned and explained, we can see new people complaining on this forum how 1xbit scammed them, OP did not know that 1xbit is a scam when he started this thread, the best to me is for him to change the thread title because it can confuse people to think that 1xbit is a reputable gambling site but it is not.

When it comes to choosing a casino or searching for information about the credibility of a gambling platform I always rely on the reviews from members of the forum and since bitcoin talk is full of so many casinos one can easily detect reputable casinos, just by reading through the variant threads and seeing the casino response to users problems and feedbacks
I am an active member on this forum, through the trust page of users on this forum, I can easily know about the site to use or not, also checking for review and trust page of the casino thread on gambling board can make me have my conclusion if to use the gambling site or not.
2706  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam 1xbit, No Pay on: July 23, 2022, 07:04:12 AM
Sorry to hear this, but I am surprised that you registered on this forum and you do not know that 1xbit is a scam gambling site. You can see its campaign participants tagged while also the campaign managers and the the 1xbit official thread on this forum are all tagged with negative trusts.
2707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Tips To Aide Successful Sports Betting. on: July 22, 2022, 11:44:38 PM
Yeah, I think this is the basic but the most important things if you are going to be a sports bettor. You should only bet on the sports that you learn, not just the rules, the team itself, the players and others. Otherwise, if you will bet on a sports that you don't love and just beginning to learn it, for sure you are going to lose money in the beginning. As for the rest of the tip, for sure majority of us have heard it when we are starting our sports betting journey.
That is why I love football, because I know much about it than other sports, but do not forget that OP also mentioned virtual sports, also know that there are live matches which can make gamblers to play often than not. Also if playing sport betting more often, losses should still be expected after analyzing the whole match and going for the team that has upper hand to win.
2708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 22, 2022, 09:30:17 PM
In short, most of the characteristics you can develop when you become addict in gambling is more of a negative side, this can be avoided only if you know how to handle yourself. Gambling is very tempting, personally I loss a lot of money here before but with a great self-control, I was able to rise again and avoid myself from drowning into this trap. Gambling is a big trap, one mistake will surely affect your life.
I too lost money to gambling in the past, just because the way some people see gambling is not good, they see it as a way of making money, the reason for spending more and losing more, but once the person understand that gambling is not that way, wasting money on gambling will be the thing of the past. Not only even in gambling, anything that someone is addicted to will surely lead to bad health, we should not even be addicted to anything, we should be moderate in anything we are doing.
2709  Other / Meta / Re: [LOG] The ranked up members - Congratulations! on: July 22, 2022, 09:11:41 PM
I believe it is not all the full member rank that have entered Sr. Member Rank were brought it here for the update. Because I did not see _act_ who has the same merits and activities with me. When I saw your update on the newly Sr. Member Rank column, _act_ name is missing in the update, please include his or her name on the list.
I appreciate your concern, but my name was mentioned already but last month. You can check Coin-1's post on May 03 of last month or click on the quote below

_act_ became Sr. Members.
I was the third that was mentioned among the people that now have senior member merits.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Competitive gambler on: July 22, 2022, 08:31:38 AM
That is also the reason why I don't gamble that much in casinos because I already knew that it's not my forte and I'm not really lucky with it as I would be throwing down some money on the drain. I prefer to gamble sports because I can have more chance of winning as I know how the sports works but still won't guarantee a win even if we really analyzed it.
I gamble using sport too, but I do not gamble too much as well, because I know that the more I gamble the more the chance to lose. Gambling using sport is also very risky, just that the matches are not as fast as games like in casinos is the difference but very risky. In-play is also very risky, it makes the match shorter and the unexpected often occur as well especially if gambling more often. Sport betting can be better, there can be analyses but the fact is that it can still bring about money loss, the reason we need to be very careful and mindful of our gambling mindset
2711  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview] Comprehensive list of Crypto Sportsbooks -!New Poll!- on: July 22, 2022, 08:25:37 AM
It is a very good exercise to help others while you are on a path that may still be beneficial or harmful to anybody. If you want to bring some more sportsbooks to the limelight, I pledge to help you by giving out some names that are unavailable on the forum yet
You can suggest any other crypto sportbooks to OP, but I will rather prefer to deal with reputable ones on this forum rather than using the ones I do not know about, but I know that your suggestion will be accepted if it is not a fake one.

I have been travelling in few of the countries and right now am in India, the most I hear on the television is about:

Parimatch
Betway
22Bet

In Ukraine the sites that were really popular were:

Parimatch
Bet365

In the UK it was more about:

William Hill
Sky bet
Bet Fred
Bet 365
Ladbrokes- Honestly their offices are everywhere

These are the sports book that I have heard off/ seen being advertised/ saw the offices everywhere
Did you read the title of this thread? It is said to be about crypto gambling sites and not all gambling sites, I am very familiar with some of the site you listed, like bet365, cryptocurrencies are not accepted for deposit and withdrawal and they do not need to be listed.
2712  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 22, 2022, 08:16:40 AM
Even the history of gambling is going back to ancient time. The gambling kept changing its form and color. And now people have adopted the most modern and convenient way of gambling. Don't know how it would take its form in coming days.
Gambling has been among people in the ancient time, even very possible it has started since the evolution of humans, but just that in the past the human involved in gambling will be less due to low population of people and unavailability of the modern day devices and equipments like computers, phones, online sites that gamblers access often. Before, gambling would be done with two or more people being together, but now done even with only one person in a room, the means of access is now getting most easier.
2713  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: There is a new scam going around on Twitter, WHY THOUGH?!? on: July 21, 2022, 12:28:48 PM
The attacker first give out his seed phrase. If the victim do not know much, the attacker may ask the victim to tell him his seed phrase too. Some people can be so foolsih to that extent to tell the attacker his own seed phrase too.

I can offer merit to anyone who knows what they are talking about! thank you for your time!
You received 10 merits 3 times from 3 users, that means you had only 5 smerits that you can send. You have sent 5 merits 3 times to 3 users. That means you have no smerit left to send.

But we should be careful of scammers and hackers.
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: July 21, 2022, 07:28:44 AM
but I think they can reduce the rate of gambling there so that the spread of infection or diseases can be reduced.
I do not think Macau's government planned to reduce gambling activity in the region, they are more after money from gambling taxes than anything else, people should protects themselves, take the vaccine and follow precautions not to contract the disease. It is true that their government are making a lot of money from gambling taxes which is the reason for such bad decision from their government.
2715  Other / Off-topic / Re: My View on Brand-Newbies to Legendary Members in the Forum on: July 20, 2022, 10:40:23 PM
This should be on Meta, why beginners and help?

You included professor, but how about PHD and Masters? I mean in the ranking arrangement.

Did you know that learning on this forum can be different? That is why you will see senior member posting good than even some hero and legendary.

Did you know that a legendary or users of higher rank can create alt account? Using it in a way people will even know that it is an alt.

But I do not think this post is worth it at all as it adds no usefulness. Sorry for saying that.
2716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin and Blockchain on: July 20, 2022, 09:04:30 AM
So does every cryptocurrency including bitcoin and altcoins have their own different type of blockchain?
Yes and No.
Yes, because every cryptocurrency executes its transaction with the help of blockchain.
No, because in crypto we have coin and token.
Coins are cryptocurrencies that have their own blockchain. An example is BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC, TRON, SOL, etc.
Token are cryptocurrencies that rely on another cryptocurrency blockchain it executes their transaction. An example is USDT, CAKE, UNI, etc.
I understood that you know the difference between coins and tokens, but the answer is only no because some cryptocurrencies do not have their own different blockchain, just like you later said. We can not say yes because each cryptocurrency execute its own transaction, tokens still rely on the blockchain of the coin which was used to make the token to be existing, the token even rely on the coin as fee.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin and Blockchain on: July 20, 2022, 01:50:39 AM
Coins have their own independent blockchain, that is why they are called coins.

Tokens make use of blockchain of a coin, just like USDT built on omini layer (Bitcoin blockchain), Ethereum blockchain (USDT ERC20) or on Tron Blockchain (USDT TRC20). Or NFTs that are non fungible tokens built on a coin blockchain. Or DeFi too which are all tokens built on a coin blockchain.

Bitcoin is a coin and not a token, it has its own Blockchain.
2718  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitcoin Incorrect login details on: July 19, 2022, 10:30:00 PM
Freebitco is a faucet and a gambling site, why using it for investing? That is wrong.

If what you are saying is true, you can ask the question here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg3436171#msg3436171

If you want to invest, use a noncustodial wallet.
2719  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin still remains the leading cryptocurrency in the world. on: July 19, 2022, 09:43:12 AM
Bitcoin creator do not control bitcoin, no one controls bitcoin.

It is because bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency but not only that. It is not a shitcoin, it remain to be more decentralized, unlike altcoins.

Bitcoin is now proving to be a commodity, unlike altcoins that are securities because they are still centrally controlled somehow.

Bitcoin has the strongest blockchain, some people prefer it because of that.

Bitcoin has a limited supply. What is scarce is actually money that will increase in value.
2720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Flips Coinbase, Now Has Highest BTC for Exchanges !! on: July 19, 2022, 09:38:31 AM
I could almost guarantee that this was caused by Binance removing exchange fees off BTC/USD trading pairs.
You are not wrong, Binance bitcoin withdrawal fee was 0.0005 BTC before, but Binance reduced the withdrawal fee to 0.0002 BTC.

But Coinbase has been the fault of itself from the beginning, he did not provide crypto exchange service in some countries, not because the government of the countries banned Coinbase, but best known to Coinbase the reason they are like that. Binance came and provide services to those countries.
