sp_ is master of deception and marketing, that is how he sell his product.... is it insane OC with TDP that would kill any card, or its intensity setting that would produce 5% rejects

any hash that he sell recalculate 5-10% less on TDP, OC and way to high intensity then do whats best for you

More than 50% of the miners use my kernels to mine signatum:

here is a screenshot of sp-mod #3 (25 july):

around 13MHASH on the 1060 3gb.
2703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 14, 2017, 10:20:54 AM
Why does everyone compare with sp-mod #3 (25-jul-2017) and #5 the latest release is #6 and works good on 1060 and 1070 cards.

I did a comparison on my gtx 1060 3gb card and here is the results:

sp-mod #6 (tuned for the 1060) 19.55MHASH
ccminer 2.2. 16MHASH (fluctating hashrates.

The sp-mod is 22% faster on the same launchconfig and clocks

is the krnlx  miner the same as epsylon miner? why you are talking about that sp? he clearly said "and no, i didnt "simply" put knrlx code"...

Yes. Espylons version seems to work bether.
2705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 14, 2017, 08:33:13 AM
what's the best config for
1.gtx 1070 = power / core / mem
2.gtx 1060 = power / core / mem

thanks sp_

-500 memory, 100% tdp, +150 core 1070, +200 core 1060. 394.84 driver.

Another  copy paste job from Tpruvot. With the same error in the hashrate as krlx. 20% is lost on the pool.
The free palgin mod or the donation miner (sp-mod) is working at full speed.

I'm getting more shares with tpruvot's 2.2 than I do with your mod 7.  About 14 coins per hour with my 300MH/s rate with mod 7, and i'm getting 18 coins per hour with tpruvot 2.2.  reported hashrate can say whatever, but actual results don't lie.

You can all try it for yourselves. Test with palgin and krnlx and spmod3/5 miners. I tested these with suprnova. Since the hash rate in the dashboard being shown by suprnova is continuously changing, I decided to test the miners with the SIGT coins I'm mining.

Yes, it was not a scientific test, I just wanted to have a rough estimate because I noticed the coins I'm mining suddenly dropped when I used krnlx. I wasn't sure at first if it was because of the difficulty in SIGT and the many miners in suprnova or it was due to krnlx. So I created 2 accounts in suprnova. I have  2 almost identical rigs, 6 x GTX1060 on rig1 and 5 x GTX 1060 on rig2. The first test was running spmod3 on rig2 and krnlx on rig1. I didn't configure the rigs to be of the exact number of gpus because I will lose mining time for a couple of hours if disable one gpu. After more than an hour, I had almost the same number of coins mined. It meant krnlx was mining slower than spmod3 because it was using 6 gpus. The next test was running palginmod on rig 1 and spmod3 on rig2. This time, palginmod mined more coins, which should be the case since it is running on 6 gpus. If I divide the number of coins per gpu, the average coin per gpu was the same for palginmod and spmod3, which meant in my crude test that both miners seem to be performing equally.

There seems to be a problem with krnlx even it is showing more hash rate per second. Those of you who have a lot more resources and time can test krnlx more extensively.  For now, I'm going back to palginmod or spmod. Check also a test run by jimboscott here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2030529.4700   He has the same observations.

One block is around $30. Wich version did you use to find the block?

His latest miner shines in groestl, myriad-groestl and neoscrypt (tested on 1070) compared to others.
Klaust's Myriad-groestl is showing high rates in the miner window, but low rates on the pool
Yeah. It's really wierd. I don't actually know why.
Bugfix:

__host__ void myriadgroestl_cpu_hash(int thr_id, uint32_t threads, uint32_t startNounce, uint32_t *nounce)
{
    const uint32_t threadsperblock = 512;
   const uint32_t threadsperblock2 = 512; //1536;

I see that you have applied my fix.

https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/commit/4c2d933aee88a6cef8676eb3dbc7b11696e925da

I think it's wierd too. Maybe you should report this to the NVIDIA devs in a bugreport.

still slow. Should be 250MHASH.
2711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 13, 2017, 08:38:25 PM
tested all possible initensities with 1080 and 1080ti, no way to get previous speed, much less than spmod7 for 382.xx drivers but 1060 and 1070 working fine Shocked

I have sendt another build. This time both 32 bit and 64 bit. Can you test please.
2712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 13, 2017, 08:21:23 PM
hmm. #8 is built with compute 6.1 and 64 bit. I will send out another build without compute 6.1

sp_ , a question for you, i would like to buy your mod-skminer, but before that, i need to know, do i have to download a 19gb file of total blockchain database to my wallet before i can mine from my wallet?
thanks alot

yes. you need to download the blockchain and sync the wallet.
2714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 13, 2017, 08:12:44 PM
You  need to run the wallet on another computer.
was that a reply to me ?
What I meant was , on skminer people say you need one cpu core per gpu you want to mine with.
I can run 5 gpu's currently with my cpu and I wonder if there is the same odd limit with your miner mod?

no limits, but the miner use alot of cpu, and if the wallet doesn't have enough cpu you will miss blocks. So the solution is to run the wallet on a seperate computer on the network that mine another coin or only has this wallet running.

try 140 in intensity this bat:

6 cards:

:loop
skminer.exe  127.0.0.1 9325 0,1,2,3,4,5 20 140
goto loop

1 card:

:loop
skminer.exe  127.0.0.1 9325 0 20 140
goto loop

memclock -500MHASH

Nexus #8 is sent to the donators. What speeds are you getting?
2718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Signatum (skunk) ccminer-krnlx 30+mh 1070, 52.5+ mh 1080ti [FREE,OPENSOURCE] on: August 13, 2017, 07:23:54 PM
I spend my free time to test this miner, and finds out the claimed speed in the miner window is not showing on the pool. This has been confirmed by many users on this thread already. The only way to fix this is to fix the code.
2719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 13, 2017, 07:11:28 PM
Thanks for testing nexus #7 beta.

I will send out #8 beta with more speed. 96MHASH on the 1060 3gb.
2720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 13, 2017, 05:49:51 PM
Getting 25% less hashrate on the 1080ti after updating to new nexus miner version... same settings.. 1080 ti was 270 mh - now some less than 200
565 mh it's maximum for my 1x1080 and 2x1080 ti rig after some tuning intensities.. was 720
upd: intensity 140 573 mh

I will send a new build with more speed. (fix)
