if Baldur can't even renew the domain, how can we expect him to burn the rest of the premine.
urgh. This sux.
EDIT: sorry for the negativity. The uncertainty is quite unbearable. It's just not a comfortable situation. I'm holding back putting much effort into AUR because of this.

hello guys,
I'm looking for a bot that can buy x amount every y minutes (willy style?) in one market on cryptsy. Can C.A.T. do that for me?
Another question: can C.A.T do automatic arbitrage between exchanges?
thanks for your answers and merry christmas!

out of curiosity to the security experts here.
which do you consider more secure, Armory or Trezor?
I'm not a security expert, but I would say trezor (with passphrase). It's also easier to use securely. Trezor seems safe. A simple paper wallet generated offline on a new computer running linux is safe too ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) the problem with a paper wallet is to spend the coins safely. An average bitcoin user these days isn't able to create a linux live CD, import a private key, export the transaction by USB and broadcast it on another online computer running a full node. Exactly. Like I said above: trezor (with additional passphrase against theft of seed backup) is quite secure, but most importantly: it's both easy to use securely (hard to fuck up) and very convenient. I use it as a day-to-day wallet (plus mycelium on the phone)

I wonder if you could use the current CPU temperature to the first or second decimal place as a source of entropy.
The least significant bit of a 16 bit audio sample always seemed a good idea to me. The nice thing about randomness: you can mix many sources (using xor or whatever) and you'll not lose anything even if one source is bad.

Auroracoin Community Takes a Stand As of December 4th a new interactive forum for the Aurora community is now live @ http://auroraspjall.is/ and can be accessed via the unofficial website www.auroracoin.ioSpeculation is rampant after the official auroracoin.org website expired on December 21st 2014 effectively ending the airdrop two months prematurely. The fact that claims are still being made according the block explorer leaves more questions to be answered by the original developer of the coin who has been AWOL for months. Such a lack of leadership only serves to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt about the future of the currency and the administration of auroraspjall hope to fill the vacuum or at least provide a platform for people to do so themselves… While a lack of central leadership has been a point of criticism for many observers of the space, the decentralised nature of crypto currency lends itself well to a truly democratic form of governance and regulation that the developer behind Auroracoin possibly envisioned before he let the website expire. As for the remaining coins that sit unclaimed and the 1 million auroracoin that the developer has left for further development you can view those balances here https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-auroracoin-addresses.html. www.aurorapr.co.vuI commend you for taking a stand, Baldur II. This is all nice and dandy, but we have _one_ serious problem that cannot be solved in a decentralized nature as you suggest: the premine. If it isn't destroyed, quite frankly the coin loses most of its remaining potential,... probably all of it.

I'm getting sick and tired of this 333 stuff. Can we please skip this part and drop to 270 already?
I'm getting sick and tired of this 333 stuff. I'm sick of bouncing off and think we should blast through instead. I know there's a little bull inside you... let it grow. Nourish it, so it can take over. A time will come when the bear must let go.

Bitcoin is going to shine like a diamond in the midst of the smoldering wreckage of this god-forsaken SNAFU![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerohedge.com%2Fsites%2Fdefault%2Ffiles%2Fimages%2Fuser5%2Fimageroot%2F2014%2F12%2FJGB%2520and%2520Bunds_0.jpg&t=664&c=Imu6KKZCm93wzw) germany should know better

parallel: The actions of a single whale cannot turn the tides of the market. (edit: we've seen this today with the 2k dump)
Unless the whale is Satoshi. satoshi would be god in this analogy

I think something is going to happen to gold soon. The price is being suppressed by counterfeit certificates. Rich people want real gold.
I don't think Rich people want gold, I think it's a part of their overall portfolio, they own paper gold. Rich people believe in the markets, real estate, and the USD because it's served them so well. They want diversity. In some cases they want to hide their money, but gold isn't a good way to do that. We all know the advantages of Bitcoin over gold and in 10 years I believe most rich people will have BTC as a part of their overall portfolio. Or alternatively, in 10 years people with bitcoin in their portfolio will be rich. hehe... and then they will diversify.

what is the purpose of buying 10k bitcoins in every exchange on a downtrend ?
turning the tides Isn't that what King Canute did ? I checked. He tried but failed. In fact he wanted to show that kingly powers are nothing compared to godly ones. We can draw a parallel here and later fly off on a tanget: parallel: The actions of a single whale cannot turn the tides of the market. (edit: we've seen this today with the 2k dump) tanget: The actions of many men in unison however can. (edit: because they constitute the market, we'll see this soon enough)

- Renew the domain
- Hand over the domain to the group
- Give the group a link to the claim site that we can use from a new website we are making
- burn the rest of the premine.
I agree with these points. However the first two are far less important then the last 2. The premine needs to be destroyed... on schedule or earlier.

(you can quote me on that)
Done. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) thx!

Really? Who sells 2K coins at market at once like that? The only purpose of that is to try and push the price down.
someone who wants to offload a lot of coins in a rush, or above 320. They got pretty low slippage for that size of order. Someone who wanted the money and has a mountain of bitcoins left over, like the guy that moved 300k+ bitcoins. That guy we talked about yesterday? Wasn't 1JoktQJhCzuCQkt3GnQ8Xddcq4mUgNyXEa invovled? Funnily that's where the 7kBTC to 1Drt3c8pSdrkyjuBiwVcSSixZwQtMZ3Tew (supposedly bitstamp) came from.
