2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin flash crashes to $8200 at Binance.us on: October 21, 2021, 07:43:56 PM
<…>
I’ve seen that mentioned around here and there, and the reason behind seems to be attributed to an institutional trader that "has a bug" in their trading algorithm. That still does not shed much light on the event, and I wonder if the sold BTCs were of a sole seller, or if it caught others in the cross-fire.

See: https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2021/10/21/bitcoin-price-flash-crash-on-binanceus-attributed-to-trader-algorithm-bug/

Imagine if you had a long on there that was liquidated, damn. Alternatively there will be some shorters & people who had stink low bids in feeling happy tonight Cheesy
2703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 21, 2021, 07:13:33 PM
Being on the 44th place right now, I agree with any breakdown because my chances of finishing ITM are slim anyway.

On the bright side, I already more than doubled(on Sportsbet.io) what I paid for the participation. So, I have no regrets whatsoever.  Grin

I’m having a tough time in the pool, really doing badly tbh but it’s fun & I enjoy playing, plus we have the weekly prize for finishing in 1st place so there is that. I’m in 43rd place dude so 1 spot above you  Undecided

Just going to do my predictions now, hopefully I do better this weekend.

2704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin flash crashes to $8200 at Binance.us on: October 21, 2021, 07:07:00 PM
Apparently it was caused by somebody selling 600BTC at market price. Binance obviously really thin order books which is what enabled this to happen.

Quite embarrassing for Binance tbh.

By the way, you remember Raja_MBZ ~

#mindrust_vol.2_lite.edition

Or even thinking of Billynocoiner..

That’s … that’s a long list you’re playing with there.

I have to say, I don’t really like a BTC ETF, because it does not involve actual BTC‘s moving.
The way I see it, it’s just another wall for climbing - another “obstacle” we have to endure through. Any exposure, is good exposure, right?

Happy to have my $100k meme ready.
For now, one for gembitz:

Go BTC, go!

Billynocoiner lol

Raja fucked up, these guys always try to convince themselves (and us) that they made the right decision. There will be many more of these guys who sell everything & end up broke & depressed. Bitcoin is the apex predator of investments (Chad Saylor quote). Why the hell would you sell your entire stash, ridiculous.

1BTC will probably be enough to make generational money in 20 years. I guess for there to be winners in life, it means there must be losers too.

If you want to be in the 1%, don’t think like the 99%.

Never take advice from somebody who isn’t already wealthy the way you desire to be.

Man.... I keep trying to point to y'all that you are trapped in a f^cking religion.... snap out of it. Smiley

Go build f^cking spaceships with u'r money <<< that's the goal... or sorta... Go buy a blow farm and a hooker farm.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Dude, you used to be a good poster. Whatever credibility you had is evaporating very quickly.
What the hell happened to you? I assume you’ve been consumed by bitterness & are suffering from being blinded by shitcoins or something.

Another fallen soldier, HFSP old friend.
2715  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: October 17, 2021, 02:08:40 PM
Tomorrow we have another very interesting game between Newcastle vs Tottenham most of the peoples talking after takeover they can do some better, but I am feeling it's going to be not easy for them against team like Tottenham and just takeover is not problem they need some good and big changes for better results in future.

I am definitely rooting for Spurs today, it’s not right that these nothing clubs like Newcastle & Man City can be bought by oil states & only by blood money become the richest teams in the world. Football is about heritage, prestige & respect, I can’t enjoy Newcastle becoming a successful club. I hope they get relegated.

Come on Spurs.
2716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 17, 2021, 02:03:31 PM
Could the Newcastle revolution start today?? Huh Cry

Well, they still have the same players that have 3 points from 7 games. They can’t buy anybody until January so I think they need to try & avoid being in a relegation battle before they start talking about starting a revolution.

I will be cheering Spurs on. Had enough of small clubs getting bought by Oil States.
2717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 17, 2021, 10:19:13 AM
Full disclosure: Took profits @ $61k. Putting it into a joint account for Rick and myself to buy toys and equipment for the ranch, as things start coming online, soon. Feel bad that all the corn I'm selling is going directly into my accounts (feel bad about needing to give Rick my financial login info to reconcile everything for this project...), and putting this batch into the joint account for ranch needs takes a fucktonne of stress off the both of us. Really don't want to draw down on our existing fiat investments to support the ranch. Will consider drawing down on those as needed, after the ranch is built and we're living out there full-time - 10 years ish.

Next sell target set for $75k, then $100k, then we sit back and re-evaluate our lives.

Gotta buy ourselves one of those jacked up monster pickup trucks that are capable of traversing the entire ranch to start... then a tractor... Oh God... it starts...

Sounds like a lot of fucking hard work running this ranch, bro.

I sold some @ $61,400.

Would like to see an ATH next week if i am honest.

2718  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Predict the BTC price 🚀 500 mBTC prize pool on: October 17, 2021, 10:12:55 AM
Hey guys, finally, the bitcoin price surged and broke $60k, which seems difficult to have it before. With back to $60k and now the price is at $61k, it will surpassing $64k (the last ATH in this year). We will see another ATH will break this year so we are going to see the second ATH. Prepare yourself for the coming.

I am curious who will be the winner in the competition because the price now is at 52,955.87 Eur while my prediction is at 57,479 Eur Grin

It is still too long for my prediction but I hope it can be closest to the price. While we still have at least 11-12 days later to see what will happen to the price Grin

Over $100,000 by the end of the year according to many models by the most respected analysts in the industry.

I just tried Alice Cooper and the Tomb of Madness on the recommendation of Kakmakr & I was not disappointed, really had a good time playing & was lucky to turn a small profit.

Hope you’re all having a nice weekend.

So is the ETF now priced in already or will we see a blast off once its official? I can imagine whales will do what they did after El Salvador made BTC legal tender. DUMP.

Many more to come in the short term so perhaps it keeps pumping.
