2701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: October 20, 2015, 09:13:34 PM
unfortunately bitcoin in my country is not used a lot i mean we dont have any shops which would accept it we surely need more education about btc here

education starts by yourself. you can explain them everything in detail regarding bitcoin and how it exactly works. members of the bitcoin community are here to help right?
2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 20, 2015, 09:11:39 PM
I don't hold too much. But hold some. I'm pretty sure of a price increase just before the halving. So I've got them at their lowest prices Smiley
before the halving there will be a price increase and I hope to sell some and double my investment.

yeah, most people are waiting for the halving to sell their coins. at what price did you buy your coins since you wait to double your investment?
2703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 20, 2015, 06:18:55 PM
Holding bitcoin is making profits based on fiats.

you believe that if fiat were to collapse, bitcoin will follow, because is tied to it? it may be true, but i'm actually believe the opposite will happen if such scenario will ever be true

No. the value of bitcoin will increase when the fiat devalue over time.

that's a normal happening. people will always look for alternatives to put their money in when fiat currencies lose value. bitcoin is simply the best alternative.
2704  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: October 20, 2015, 06:15:57 PM
If given a choice to walk away with either Bitcoin or gold of equivalent value, what would you pick?

Asians and Westerners were asked in Taipei in Chinese and English if they would take Bitcoin or gold home with them that day, and the answer might surprise you...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6GiC8dqN9A

We just shot a video outside the Taipei 101 skyscraper area here and gave people a chance to answer if they would walk away with either Bitcoin or gold- and why.

If you were approached and were offered the same deal, would you walk away with Bitcoin or gold in your pocket, and why???

I would pick gold all the time.  Bitcoin is extremely volatile.  Gold is around for a very long time already.

bitcoin volatility makes investing in it even better as you'll get more potential returns in the long term. that's why i would always go for bitcoin rather than gold.
2705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: October 20, 2015, 05:25:12 PM
i think banks will adopt the blockchain technology and maybe give us the option to show a bitcoin balance in our bank accounts.
2706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is coming back, stronger than ever, with new members! on: October 20, 2015, 01:12:18 PM
bots dominate the creation of accounts lately. especially since accounts have gained value due to signature campaigns. easy money as they sell accounts or use them for signature campaigns.
2707  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: October 20, 2015, 01:10:19 PM
Buy or develop your own time machine and go back to 2008 and mine BTC on the computer at your mothers house in the basement

Work hard and save up for the future, and also invest something.

yeah. working hard is also my way of getting rich. work hard and invest the money you have earned through the years to gain decent interest.
2708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want better? Exchange or Appstore where you can pay with BTC? on: October 20, 2015, 11:41:45 AM
i would like to see the apple app store accept bitcoin payments. another exchange isn't really needed if you ask me, since there already are plenty of them.
2709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 19, 2015, 11:55:40 PM
Well im leaving trading as well everytime i enter into some altcoin the full market drops... this week is insane all red altcoins, nothing new dumpers making and taking their btc back, need new and fresh investors as money into crypto world now.

quit altcoin trading and start trading bitcoins only. altcoin value can sink 90% in just a few minutes. the guys behind these altcoins are making huge profits while other people end up holding the bag filled with worthless coins.
2710  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 19, 2015, 11:52:39 PM
I had invested some pennies at bitcoin and i had returned the fiat to my account soo now all earnings are my profit from my investment made on that time, and signature. If this could happen i would be pissed but i would sell for low value for sure.I consider bitcoin the next gold investment.

selling your coins for such a low amount isn't worth it. the price will rebound at some point and you'll end up being angry at yourself for selling.
2711  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 19, 2015, 11:48:21 PM
Want to hear something really dumb?
I look at bitcoinwisdom and see these big red bars down near the bottom of the page.
If people just stopped dumping, the price would go up.  So stop dumping.  Who is it that wants to keep the price down?

traders taking profits is what happens. you can't expect them to only hold their coins without selling them. beside that there are also whale traders not willing to let the price advance further.
2712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 19, 2015, 11:44:42 PM
I save bitcoin for my future. I strongly believe that investing in biotcoin would make me a millionaire in one or two years. Because bitcoin has showed some unimaginable past records of highest growth over time. So, I use bitcoin for saving purpose like many other people doing here.

Believing in Bitcoin is good. But I would think long term and not just for a time period of 2 years or so. You won't get rich in that short time.In 10-15 years you can be right with your prediction. So take your time!
Exactly. People who hoarded gold since 80's and 90's really made bank. Bitcoin has potential but it is really long term.

early birds always get rewarded for their patience and believe in mostly everything. bitcoin is no exception. i am not an early bird but i am holding bitcoin because i trust in it and use it to buy stuff online.
2713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we help Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2015, 11:41:01 PM
i think we help the bitcoin the best, is by making people spend their coins more than they are doing now. the more we spend, the more merchants are willing to give bitcoin a chance.
2714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 19, 2015, 01:05:46 PM
yes i am holding about 0.25 BTC for a price increase.. lets see what happens Grin

Hey I do not have even that much also. But now I started to learn how to earn more. Till I improve my forum rank I would be busy in faucet earnings to make some good of bitcoins. I believe bitcoin will hit $1Million per coin level too.

1 million per coin is not realistic. it's more a fantasy of people. just focus on the price reaching $1000 again at some point in the future. that's more a realistic target.
2715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nice News about Bitcoin Addoption on: October 19, 2015, 01:02:39 PM
the more merchtans the better of course. but we have to start spending more in order to make them see it is increasing their revenue.
2716  Economy / Speculation / Re: yay btc goes ~$250 ! on: October 19, 2015, 11:34:59 AM
I have coinbase on my other monitor all throughout the day, my day started here in my office with $268 and now it's down to $264, but it's just jumping from $264 - $267 level. So I guess this will be our rate for this week?
yes new range $260-$270
http://prntscr.com/8svo8c

we will stable at this range before we rise $300
yes the price is stable around $260-$270 since yesterday and i hope won't be down again to $250 in this month

Even if the price go below $250, it is still OK for the long term.

the long term makes any price this year not important. as long as people believe in the future of bitcoin, then the long term price will be much higher than now. and we'll probably see a new ath within 5 years.
2717  Economy / Speculation / Re: What 2016 holds for Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2015, 11:32:36 AM
the block rewards being halved is the most important happening in 2016. other than that it most likely will be the same as 2015.
2718  Economy / Speculation / Re: The top is in on: October 18, 2015, 11:46:30 PM
The top is in on this run-up. Time to unload and take profits. Wink
i dont feel like 270 is the top, i feel like bitcoins going to hit around 330 and stay there for around a month and around the halfing next year itll be around 400-500

it's the top for now. if we can manage to stay above $260 for a week, then we might see the price make another attempt to break through the $280.
2719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the next big run-up in price? on: October 18, 2015, 11:44:26 PM
Price touching the lower 260 again.

I think the run-up has been canceled before the 300 level. Again

people as always get excited too quickly. once they see the price is going up they think it will break $300 or even $400 this month.
2720  Economy / Speculation / Re: new highs possible only after memory fades on: October 18, 2015, 11:42:14 PM
I woulda thought the hope of a fresh bubble, or preferably a significant price rise that sustains, is the main factor in keeping interest alive and growing.

too much people are hoping for a fresh bubble to show up anytime soon or after the halving. bitcoin mostly goes in the opposite direction.
