Unless you have a good graphics card your make more money CPU mining for Litecoin and if you have a good graphics card you can still mine for Bitcoin and Litecoin at the same time.

Just 3BTC get's you a 1% share in the company and all profits.  30BTC would get you a 10% stake.  At the moment I'm just planning on saving the NMC generated for expansion and paying all BTC generated after electricity costs are paid as dividends weekly.  Although I may put a vote to the shareholders on retaining some extra or all the profits to speed up expansion to buying another rig containing three 7990's.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but can you use this guide with LTS versions of Ubuntu and how do you start the miner from the command line  Huh

You don't need to set a password as you generate gpg keys.  There was a thread on this forum about how to set up an account.  I blogged about the thread - http://glbse.blogspot.com/search/label/how%20to%20buy%20shares -  Any more questions just ask here, on the blog or the original thread.

391 shares (37% of the IPO) have now been sold raising 117.30BTC within nine days.  Things are going well.  If you haven't done so already buy some shares and if you have look into buy some more.

cpuminer for Litecoin and going to use hashkill when I get my 7970's for Bitcoin.

why not diablo for 7970 then?

Just because hashkill looked so easy to use but it now seems it's not up to the job so looking for alternatives.  Have been looking at this guide - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50388.0 - but using SimpleCoin pool or P2Pool?
2712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DIANNA: the IANA Decentralized design concept on: February 19, 2012, 09:29:40 PM
Kk but it would seem more attractive to Litecoin CPU miners as there is no merged mining for that yet so all or most of the Litecoin CPU miners would likely adopt it pretty fast?

Unless Litecoin is abandoned because it gives absolutely nothing new other than mining without needing a GPU

I don't think Litecoin would be abandoned anytime before Bitcoin possibly was.  It gives all the Bitcoin miners an extra currency to mine for and the merged mining potential with that currency is currently untapped.

Just misinformed maybe just looked easy to use???  Also what SDK should I use???
The latest 12.x driver with 2.6 SDK.
AMD drivers are apparently still being optimized to better cooperate with the GCN architecture.

This mining pool - http://simplecoin.us/gettingstarted.php - recommended hashkill?
