2701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling experiences : before and after bitcoins. on: June 08, 2017, 08:58:36 AM
I gambled with fiat too in the past but I did it on soccers games only. At that time, the minimum bet at a single market was relatively huge. It's very different when I use bitcoin. I can place a bet with small amount of money. That's the main reason beside the other reasons why I prefer to use bitcoin to fulfill my gambling habits nowadays.
2702  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: June 08, 2017, 08:08:11 AM
Trading is more risky because your money will be trade and invest assured you to have profit.Trading fast way of producing money,it's like a business involves your ability to do work while if in skilled based is on how you learn only.

Indeed mate. It also happens to me I've put most of my investments in trading in which sometimes I gain profit and sometimes not which is for me are riskier than skill based gambling. You really rely on the prediction in trading.
trading would make you feel more risky if then you have no idea what to do , i mean to trade baseless and just guessing the price without do any effort to look at situation around , news, and several charts analysis. in this case there is no difference when you trading based on nothing compared to gambling that basically like to choose high or low, red or black , odd or even etc.

It depends on our interest and our basic knowledge. If we are more fluent at trading than skill-based games, hence trading would be better for us and vice versa. But for sure, the risk will always be there.
2703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New way and this works fine for me on: June 07, 2017, 06:38:20 PM
I've been in a few months making bookkeeping for every deposit / withdrawal i did. Sounds a bit stupid but I feel the benefit of it all. Like I can resist my desire to gamble after loss much or after get huge wins. did you wanna try my way  Wink
I think it's good idea, when you record all your transactions (Deposit/Withdraw). By this analysis you can know how much you make money or you lose money. I think this idea is great for gamblers who are addicted, because with this note they can know when they stop and when they play.
Or in other words it is called/part of bankroll management.
With bankroll management you are monitoring every single money you spend/cash out.
That's indeed good but required patience to make you to stick to the rules , otherwise in the end everything could be messed up.

That's a good idea but I think only few people can do it properly. I tried it couple months ago but got bored few weeks after it. Yep, it needs patience if we wanted to do such money management correctly. Frankly I do money management too but the different is I never record it. I just try to remember how much deposit and withdrawal that I've made during a period of time.

Some people keep trying to steal from others. It is our responsibility to keep our account secure. Thieves will use different ways to launch their actions. Getting used to optimize security settings of our own account is one of the best ways to avoid theft.
2705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: June 07, 2017, 06:46:51 AM
It will be shame only if people around you would come to know that you are earning money from gambling or unless I don't think there is any shame or we should be afraid of being a gambler.

Lol, for sure if no one knows our gambling habit there's no need to be a shame. That's why we need to keep this actions secretly even to our close friends or family members.
2706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 06, 2017, 05:45:12 PM
Nowadays, more of my friends are starting to listen to me. It's after I gave them a proof that holding bitcoin can give a good profit. With the recent price increase it's easier to persuade more people to think about this good opportunity.
2707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your biggest casino win? on: June 06, 2017, 05:06:35 PM
I think it belongs in Gambling discussions
but we can share our gambling porn stories all right  Grin
my biggest casino win was in DOGE - 423.740 doggies which was around 1.2 bitcoins at the time
Did you say that you won 423 doge and it was around 1.2 bitcoin, i was not in a comma and i did not hear this price valuation, hope you have mistyped something,my biggest win in dice is 1.5 btc and in casino i won over 0.1 btc while in casino games.

He typed 423.740 doggies so it means 423k doge instead of 423 doge. And it was around 1.2 BTC so the doge price at that time was around 300 sat/doge.
2708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: June 06, 2017, 04:33:17 PM
I can say yes. Because bitcoin provide anything that gamblers want, easy to use, easy to make a transaction, low fee, anonymous, many online gambling that using bitcoin too. I'm sure many online gamblers happy about the existence of bitcoin.

Yes, once the fiat gamblers are aware of the convenience provided by bitcoin, I'm sure more of them will use bitcoin to fulfill their gambling activities.
2709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: @Philippines An addicted gambler gone wild on: June 06, 2017, 04:33:51 AM
He is very desperate that time. He owed huge amount of money worth of 5 million pesos( i think) on gambling. That's the main cause why he do that. That will happen to you if you don't control yourself on gambling. And i think that's the worst thing a gambling addict would do. He killed 38 people(himself included). He killed himself by burning himself. That's crazy isn't it?

This is the bad news I've ever heard regarding gambling addictions. One lesson from this tragedy is, never owe money to gamble. Because it will make too difficult for us to stop gambling when our lose has exceeded our limits.
2710  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: June 05, 2017, 07:01:06 PM
People who regularly keep coming back to gambling places no matter whether they did it daily, weekly or monthly can be considered to have been addicted to gambling. But for sure, the level of addiction can be vary. It depends on how frequent a person visited gambling places and how much money they can afford to lose at every visit. I visit gambling sites almost everyday with small amount of money and so far it seems I do it in the proper way. I mean, even though I got addicted to gambling but this addiction is still in the reasonable limits.
2711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: June 05, 2017, 01:19:52 PM
I'm pretty sure nobody is gambling just for fun, it's very unlikely. Everyone must gamble to make a profit because I never see them celebrate and smile when they lose when gambling.

In gambling, we cannot avoid the possibility of losing. People who gamble for fun will stop after faced such situation. And for those who gamble for profit tend to chase their previous lost asap. For sure, no one will be happy when they lost money from gambling and most people will try to get profit from it. The different between gambling for fun and for profit is on how people treat the game especially when they met the bad situation. People who gamble for fun mostly can afford to lose their money and it involved small amount of money compared to their overall financial.
2712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That day when Bitcoin hits $50,000.- on: June 05, 2017, 12:16:30 PM
I hope I'm still alive when bitcoin touches 50k usd so I can celebrate it with you guys! For near future I will be very happy if bitcoin reached 5k usd and it seems make more sense.
2713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 05, 2017, 07:21:47 AM
I started to store more bitcoin into my wallet and try to hold it as long as I can. I predicted more countries will follow Japan's way to legalize bitcoin hence there's a chance for the price to move up even higher in the future.
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: need some trusted beting site?? on: June 04, 2017, 01:22:32 PM
What I recently used is Sportsbet.io. I think it was okay since I deposited a few mBTCs there and well, the service is good. They have a lot of categories to choose from, and they even have promotions that you can have a sum of money back on your bets, and that's a great thing to be promoted because they will give your money back win or lose. That's awesome.

There're some scam accusasions against sportsbet and admin's account got red trust too. It's better to be very careful if you love to play at this site. At least deposit and play with small amount of money only, so if something bad happened, it won't hurt you so much!
2715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 04, 2017, 12:12:24 PM
I never tried below normal transaction fee. Maybe im afraid my funds to be stuck and pending in many days. Also i only transfer funds when i really need the fund. And for that i have to put normal to priority miner fee to make it faster and avoid inconvenience. That's a good move tho.

Normal fees means default fees right. That would set as by default and nowadays default fees has been increased to 0.0007 to 0.00092 btc for a transaction in blockchain.info and coinbase. If you wish to have a low fees for a transaction. you can use the the multibit or bitcoincore to have a fees as 0.0001 or little. Confirmation time would little longer than the above mentioned one.

We can set our desired fee when using blockchain wallet too but frankly if we used low fees, below 100 sat/B, there's a chance for our transaction to get confirmed after several days. It's better to use medium or higher fee if we are in a hurry.
2716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Resetting seeds question on: June 04, 2017, 10:15:23 AM
So I have been gambling on prime dice for a while and I was wondering what this whole resetting seeds business is. Why do people reset seeds? Is it to increase odds of winning? If so, then how often should I do it?

I tried to find out information regarding seeds and came up with Nada. :/

Gambling is a matter of luck. No one knows whether changed seed will give us a better chance to win the game or not until we tried it. Tbh, some people can get a better confidence after doing such thing.
2717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 04, 2017, 06:37:54 AM
Gambling is not wrong as long as you know how to control yourself when you gamble. Like you won't let yourself go broke and steal something for you to have money to gamble. In short don't get addicted to gambling because it will only lead you in the wrong way.
Very few people know what self-control and reality are. It happens so that gambling brings pleasure but only very minute and afterwards it all changes very big problems, because of the fact that they lost great money.

A lot people noticed that self control is the key concept to get fun on gambling activities but only few of them who able to implement it in the real actions. That's why isn't a surprise if we hear or see many people who get serious problems caused by gambling.
2718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 03, 2017, 09:06:11 PM
What a bad start for Juventus on the 2nd half, they were better on the first half but it changes 180° after break. 3-1 for Real Madrid and seems that we have the Champion already even though there are still  20+ minutes but I think it is hard for Juventus.
Just so surprised what is happening with Juventus.

Juventus can't play their strategy at the second half. Whenever they got the ball, it's very easy for Real Madrid to take it back. Real Madrid has the better experiences in this league and they can maximize this advantage. Bravo Real Madrid!
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: June 03, 2017, 01:56:38 PM
When you dont have anything more to lose.
I dont believe that people could just go away with a big amount to lose. There is always this thought of "what if I get lucky the next round?"
When you are winninhg it wont be a problem, it is easy to decide because you got the money.  On the other hand, losing is like a virus, it will eat you up until you got depleted and nothing more to lose.

Those feeling, what if the next roll I will get lucky, seems haunting most gamblers mind. And the end story from such feeling is regret. Gambling is a mind game and if we failed to manage it, we could get a bad experience.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: June 03, 2017, 08:45:42 AM
Many of these things cannot be dammed by education and parents. But there is a point where teenagers do not always have a lot of money, so when they lose and no more money, they will stop and regret their actions. This happens to 80% of teenage gamblers who feel no gambling talent. I myself have gambled since age 17.

Some kids tend to use the money that should be used to pay for tuition fees to fulfill their gambling habits. And the worse part is they can do other bad stuffs to keep gambling. Parents should be very careful and keep oversee what their kids do.
