Lille failed to get full points at home after only being held to a draw by Toulouse with the same score of 1-1. Even though Lille initially took the lead, it was not enough to ensure complete victory at home and they even had 14 goal opportunities but they all failed and only resulted in 1 goal. In contrast to Toulouse's statistics, they only had 2 scoring opportunities and one of them resulted in an equalizer until the final minute.

It can be seen that the tension in this match was also very heated considering that the referee issued a total of 7 yellow cards to each player from both teams. This result means Lille failed to widen the gap to maintain 4th position in the standings and now they have the same points as Reims and are also at great risk of being overtaken by Reims in the next match.
Lille will face Lyon and Reims will play against Nice. I think Reims will not overtake Lille in the next round even though Lyon surprisingly made its first victory against Rennes which used to be a good team but it is in failing strike tight and..
What I find quite funny in Ligue 1 is how a team that started badly the season end in the 6th place (Lens). They were basically in the relegation zone. This prove how unstable Ligue 1 teams are..
I think the result is a win for Lille and also Reims. The reason is that Lyon is not a difficult opponent at the moment and Nice is starting to falter after being held to a draw by Montpellier last week. Why I don't favor Nice in the match against Reims, the answer is quite simple because on average Nice can only score 1 goal in each match and against Reims with very few goals conceded so far the possibility of the match ending in a draw or a win for Reims (I exclude Reims' previous defeat because PSG is a monster in this league).

I'm just the opposite about Lens, from the start they were a good team since last season but they lost control at the start of this season and since that series of bad results in the end the team that is now above them also started to experience what Lens experienced at the start of the season. Lens have turned into a fairly consistent team recently so they are starting to return to top flight competition and at least 6th place proves they are still worthy of this competition.

I just finished reading this on Fabrizio Romano's twitter and indeed Osimhen has again expressed his interest in playing for one of the English league clubs in the future. Two clubs that are quite interesting to Osimhen are Chelsea and Manchester United, these are big English league clubs and we all know they all have a very great history. Surely any player would be very excited if they could have a career at one of these clubs.

With the current conditions of course I would prefer Osimhen to go to Chelsea because this team is trying to improve after the previous season they reached a dead end and even though currently Chelsea's performance has not improved drastically but with coach Pochettino who has experience coaching big teams this should be the case. could be the right path for Osimhen. If we compare it with Manchester United, of course it is not much different from Chelsea, but Manchester United is worse because since Sir Alex Ferguson left him, who retired in 2013, this team has not really recovered and is still having difficulty maintaining its performance in each season. Moreover, changing coaches repeatedly did not have a full impact on the team's performance. So yes, if Osimhen wants to have a better career in the English league, he should go to Chelsea.
Both Chelsea and Man United are big teams, but both of them are not at their best at the moment. So I think if Victor Osimhen prefers to move to Chelsea, it's still not a more promising option than a move to Man United because if we look at the position of the two teams, Man United is still better than Chelsea. Apart from that, Man United also still has progress on the European stage. If only they fail in the Champions League, Man United still has a chance in the Europa League. It's not the most prestigious league but it's still better than Chelsea, which doesn't compete on the European stage.
It seems like we have different opinions here and I really respect those opinions. It is true that currently Manchester United is still better than Chelsea in the standings, but this team cannot be productive from the attack line and they often only get lucky wins through goals scored by non-attacking players. We also know that Manchester United's current attacking trio, filled with Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford and Antony, have only contributed 1 goal and that is clearly bad news for the Manchester United squad.

If in the end Osimhen's arrival at Old Trafford can change everything then it must be supported by the flow of the ball and good passing from the wingers to the midfielders. So that is the point I emphasize why Osimhen should join Chelsea considering they have a more promising squad than Manchester United.
2703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 14, 2023, 08:50:23 AM
According to Opta Analyst, currently Manchester City remains the favorite to win the Champions League with a 32.29% chance, followed by Bayern Munich and Real Madrid below with quite a large margin. In fact, it is natural to favor Manchester City to win the Champions League title again this season considering that they still have the same squad depth as before and Pep Guardiola even continues to update his squad by recruiting several other talented players.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich is indeed a bit of a threat after they managed to acquire the services of Harry Kane since last summer and this is proven by the productivity of goals scored by the English player. However, what is quite surprising is that Real Madrid is still included in the top 3, even though they don't have a great striker for scoring goals and mostly they only rely on the magic of Jude Bellingham, Vini and Rodrygo to score goals. Apart from all that, if Manchester City can win this title back to back it will be a good record. Even if Bayern Munich wins this title, it will certainly be a good record after the last time they won it in 2020 and it would also be the first champions league title for Harry Kane. However, if Real Madrid can win the title this season without a mature striker, of course that will be the result obtained thanks to the winning mentality they have had so far.

Damn, my focus was going to the manchester united. It's quite interesting to see how MU has zero chance to be on the first. Look at manchester united. It has the lowest chance to go to the 16 stage. Manchester united is also has biggest probability to finish at the 4th place as well.
I hope united will be out. Galatasaray is much more better than united at this moment. That's pretty interesting to see turkish club will be going even further to the 16 stage.

Im thinking about MU will be out caused by it will be losing against galatasaray away. This will be a disaster for all of MU fans. I can't even relate how this analsys was giving bayern and madrid the same chance to win the UCL.
City's chance is not that big. The club has not yet faced the big club in the UCL. The performance from city is still remain questionable at this moment.
Im thinking madrid shall become the potential team to win UCL after city.
Manchester United failed to produce the results everyone wanted this season and in fact they are more likely to be eliminated than to qualify for the last 16. This was all because of the bad results they got when they failed to get full points from Galatassaray and Copenhagen in the first and second rounds. Now the remaining two matches will be against Galatassaray and Bayern Munich, if the Red Devils want to qualify then they have to beat these two teams.

In my opinion, the chances of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are quite fair because these two teams have several things that they can bring to win the Champions League. For Manchester City the real test is when they enter the quarter finals to the semifinals and if they can advance to the final round it is likely they will still be champions again. But on the other hand, Real Madrid is still a worthy candidate to win, but they can do that if Manchester City is eliminated first.

I think Chelsea can still compete for the top 4 this season despite the bad start. They are having an explosive week with consecutive positive results. After defeating Tottenham 4-1, they continued to hold Man City 4-4 in an extremely dramatic match. To be honest, Man City was exhausted in the final minutes, but Chelsea players could still explode. Chelsea played better when Pochettino was in charge. Their chances of getting into the top 4 are slim, but they still have to keep fighting even though they are 10 points behind the top 4. Remember, Chelsea has a squad full of young players, and unexpected things will happen to youth. Pochettino's teachers and students must sprint quickly and not make any mistakes.
Yes, Chelsea can get that if they succeed in maintaining a positive trend in the last few matches because if they lose control of it, it will definitely be difficult for Chelsea to break into the top 4 positions. Their mentality was tested in the match against Manchester City and even though it ended in a draw, when there is a team that can match Manchester City's best performance then that team deserves a plus point. I had doubts about the young squad that Chelsea has built, but when these young players are in the right hands, I think Chelsea can do better in the future. Pochettino is the right coach to do this job and if he succeeds in helping Chelsea get a place in one of the European competitions then Todd Boehly will definitely extend his contract.

Interesting news about from the Obi Mikel and Osimhen podcast which was stated by Fabrizio Romano.

Osimhen said he doesn't have a favorite team in the English league but he has a Chelsea and Man United jersey, then he said a lot of fans from Chelsea then Man United only a few fans, will this be a sign that he will go to Chelsea?

Then Obil Mikel said he knew you would come to Chelsea, let me be the agent who will mediate it.
From this statement we know there is at least a chance for Osimhen to go to the Premier League especially with rumors to Chelsea?

Dimarco's extraordinary goal from 56 meters from the left side of the defense was the goal of the season and is likely to be nominated for the Puskas award. Even in an interview after the match, Mikhitaryan shared the same opinion as everyone who thought it was a cross for Denzel, but instead the ball soared high and finally dived into Frosinone's goal.

After that, in the second half, Inter again increased the goal difference through the penalty scored by Çalhanoğlu. Inter's victory is pretty much guaranteed with these 2 goals and it looks like Inter will still be consistent until week 12. As a result, Inter can still widen the gap from Juventus and Frosinone is still in 12th position in the standings even though they previously won against Empoli.
His left foot shot was really great, yes an extraordinary goal from him, everyone was surprised to see it including me. Indeed seem like really worthy to be nominated for the Puskas award, a phenomenal goal like that is the best goal.

Inter Milan is motivated to win the title this season, they will most likely continue in optimal performance. But on next Matchday 13, Inter will have a big test ahead, if according to the schedule they will face against Juventus.
It seems that playing against Juventus will be an exciting round for the competition for the top position in Week 13 and I think it will be a very difficult match to predict. Moreover, Juventus' advantage here is as hosts and if we look at the previous meeting at Juventus' home ground, the two teams only shared one point with a draw. I think this result will still happen if we look at the performance of the two teams, which is equally good, but if one of them can surprise us with a win, of course it will widen the distance from Inter or Juventus will shift Inter's position from the top. Even if I bet later, I will probably bet on the BTTS - (Yes) option because it is certain that both teams will score goals against each other and I will avoid the risk of betting on one of the teams.

Xabi Alonso is a masterpiece and Leverkusen's win against Union Berlin provided another impressive record this season. So far, in the 18 matches that Leverkusen has played in all competitions, they have produced 17 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses, 63 goals and 16 conceded. This is an extraordinary achievement for Xabi Alonso, who has been Leverkusen's coach since last season and this season he is still producing consistent results for his team. Until week 11 of the Bundesliga, Leverkusen is still at the top of the standings with 2 points from last season's defending champions, namely Bayern Munich, and I think this will be a good season for Xabi Alonso and Leverkusen if they succeed in winning the Bundesliga title.
Leverkusen is the most productive team this season, and all of this is truly the impact of coach Xabi Alonso, since his arrival in the middle of last season, changes have been seen in the team for the better.
Thus, what happened this season is not surprising because the Leverkusen team has gone through a process and Xabi Alonso can quickly make this team stronger this season.

Leverkusen's consistency and strength this season makes them a team that is highly taken into account and is even likely to challenge Bayern to win the Bundesliga title this season.
I think it's very possible, and also I hope there will be a new champion in the Bundesliga after 10 consecutive seasons of Bayern dominating.
But the thing that surprised me the most is that Leverkusen haven't lost so far in all competitions and isn't this something beyond reason? We all know that Xabi Alonso is a legendary former midfielder and his experience as a midfielder is the most appropriate thing to handle a team. Leverkusen has risen and is starting to become a threat in the Bundesliga again and for Thomas Tuchel's squad it will definitely be very difficult to compete this season with strong candidates like Leverkusen. For years the Bundesliga competition has always been dominated by Bayern Munich and of course we as football fans want something new this season and like other competitive leagues the Bundesliga must prove that their league is not boring because it is only dominated by one team each season.
2709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 13, 2023, 02:03:29 PM
What Barcelona has been doing recently is quite risky because they often win late and that is not good for the team's health. Even though they won in the end, they are one of the big teams in La Liga and when facing a much weaker opponent they should have been ahead by 2 goals in the first half. But what happened was the opposite, Barcelona even fell behind Alaves, which made them have to work hard to make a comeback at home. Luckily this time Lewandowski was in good form and he recorded a brace in this match.
You got the point. Unfortunately, Alaves had four more clear chances, but they couldn't convert them into goals. Luckily, Robert Lewandowski scored twice to complete the comeback and beat Alaves by 2-1 score-line. The team's comeback was spot-on, but it might not always work, especially against big teams.
It is a bit questionable why Barcelona is so weak when facing small teams and I think the depth of their squad should be able to tell us that they can always guarantee a definite victory in every match. The style of play usually called XaviBall is also not that effective because it is just a game of maintaining ball possession but with minimal opportunities. I know the philosophy of every Barcelona coach requires a beautiful playing style, but can that make them feel safe when they can't score? Maybe as effective as the strategy that Xavi develops sometimes is when dealing with the results the team needs, of course he should be able to prioritize this rather than just prioritizing a beautiful game with low passes.

This is the big six standings before the international break starts and we can see that the difference is very small from all teams except Manchester United. Grin

This will make the competition even more exciting in the future and Manchester City as the defending champion failed to widen the gap after playing a draw against Chelsea. In fact, Liverpool is now starting to get close to being in second place in the standings, followed by Arsenal, Spurs and Aston Villa, who also don't have a big enough distance from Manchester City. It is still difficult to predict who will emerge as champions this season and every team sometimes loses consistency when they have the opportunity to widen the gap from their competitors. Well, it's worth looking forward to the results of each match after the international break and it will definitely add value to an increasingly competitive league.

Manchester United are the only club struggling to win comfortably, they will face Everton next two weeks in the Premier League fixture. Manchester United should win even if Everton would proof stubborn.

Manchester City will be facing Liverpool
Aston Villa would be facing Tottenham Hotspur
Arsenal would be up against Brentford a London Derby.

These are the next Premier League fixtures from the top six and they're really difficult to predict.
I don't think it will go smoothly for Manchester United because Everton is a team that is clearly quite strong even though they are often in the bottom position. Moreover, Manchester United's winning record so far has always been by a narrow score, which will make it even more difficult for them to win the match against Everton later.

Liverpool looks like they have to finish the competition early with Manchester City and this is another big match after the international break and it looks like Jurgen Kloop will be a little confused about this match. Aston Villa vs Spurs also seems to be a worthy competition to compete for 4th place in the standings and with the availability of the main squad still absent from Spurs, it is likely that Aston Villa will be slightly favored to win. Arsenal vs Brentford, there doesn't seem to be any problem with this match and Mikel Arteta is certainly very confident of being able to achieve another victory in this match.

Ronaldo has become the most productive striker so far and with the addition of 1 goal he also increased his collection to 16 goals in all competitions with Al-Nassr in 17 appearances. Still can't believe he did it at an age when it should be very difficult to do that.

The other day, Santos spoke for the first time about the reasons why he benched Ronaldo at the World Cup. He said literally: Ronaldo was in excellent physical shape... and then he spouted some nonsense that he did not get into the rhythm of the game. Okay, let Santos justify himself as best he can, but the fact is that even he admits that Ronaldo’s physical form is excellent. Ronado is a real fanatic and I think these successes are due to the fact that, due to his fanaticism, he is now approximately 34-36 years old when compared with other football players.
In fact, any country would be happy to have a player like Cristiano Ronaldo because it could make their defense more alert than before. Moreover, we know that he is one of the GOATs and his goal-scoring instincts are undoubted even though he is no longer in competitive competition. I think Santos made a mistake in last year's world cup and Cristiano Ronaldo continues to prove that Santos' assumption is wrong and now the Portuguese coach Roberto Martinez has more confidence in Cristiano Ronaldo for the position of striker for the Portuguese national team.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo is a striker who can score goals in any position and sometimes becomes a clutch expert when a team needs his services and we have certainly seen him often in previous seasons when he was still playing for teams in Europe. I agree that Cristiano Ronaldo is currently 34 years old or above, considering that he continues to maintain his body with good nutrition and also continues to exercise and one thing that may be on his mind is that age is just a number.

Getafe reportedly wants to extend the loan period for Mason Greenwood from Manchester United. Actually, I haven't paid much attention to Mason Greenwood's appearance so far at Getafe, but if we look at his statistics so far with Getafe, from 9 appearances he has contributed with 1 goal and 3 assists. I think that is a pretty good statistic, especially since the season is still very long until next year.

Mason Greenwood's loan period will only be valid for one season, but it also depends on whether Manchester United wants to accept the loan extension agreement or not, especially if Mason Greenwood's performance continues to improve then Manchester United will provide an opportunity for him to return to the main squad. What do you think, is it better for Mason Greenwood to return to England or continue his impressive performances with Getafe?

There was tension between Lamine Yamal and Lewandowski in the match and in the video circulating Lewandowski refused to shake hands with Lamine Yamal after he didn't get a pass from him. Lewandowski should have been more mature when facing the selfishness of a 16 year old child, but on the other hand, when the team was behind, Lamine Yamal should have understood that at that time the team's victory was what was most needed and he was willing to give the pass to Lewandowski. Apart from all that, I hope Barcelona can develop further in the future and can excel with lots of goals against teams whose level is far below them.

Lens continue to climb in the standings which is nice to see. Because for a while they haven't been able to do well in the Ligue 1 while they are really impressive in the Champions League. But finally they managed to start getting better results in the Ligue 1 as well. They hosted Marseille last night and won by 1-0.

However that winning goal came quite late in the game. If it weren't for that goal in the 90th minute they were going to add another draw to their streak. The game was quite balanced by the way that also had an impact on this score.
Is now a good time to bet on a Lens win? considering that they have finally been able to get up and even beat Marseille. I feel that this team has made comprehensive improvements and the performance shown has produced good results in the last few matches. Marseille's late win should be full motivation for Lens to get another win and even now they are in a better position and that is a stark contrast to what they were at the start of the season when they were in the relegation zone previously.

Meanwhile, Marseille still seems to be having difficulty maintaining their consistency and they have to be willing to lose another point this week. Marseille, which made a pretty good start, is now starting to falter and is still stuck in 10th position in the standings. Of course this is not a good result considering that in the last 5 matches they were only able to get 1 win.

The last match in La Liga today will be between Atletico Madrid and Villarreal. Atletico Madrid suffered a surprise defeat against Las Palmas last week. Before that game they had a 6-game winning streak. This season they are behind Real Madrid and Barcelona in the league, but in the Champions League they are undefeated in Group E. They have a good combination with Yannick Carrasco, Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata. I like the play of Atletico Madrid this season. On the other hand, Villarreal are far from their glory days this season. They have only 3 wins in 12 games this season. I see Atletico Madrid as the favorites to win this match.
The previous defeat against a weak team like Las Palmas was beyond predictions and Atletico certainly does not want to suffer the same result against Villarreal soon. Diego Simione, who is Atletico's tactician, seems to want to continue the existing winning trend and they must immediately move on from the bad results they have had and indeed in the Champions League they are still unbeaten and are at the top of Group F.

I see more of a duet between Griezzman and Morata who will stand out again in this match and indeed the two of them have often been the deciding players in Atletico's victory so far. Villarreal is still far from expectations and after changing coaches some time ago it still hasn't made Villarreal improve and currently they are at the bottom of the standings and have a long way to go to get back to the top 10 in the standings.

It must be very painful to be faced with losing in the final minutes of a match and I didn't expect Empoli to do it at home to Napoli. Napoli had to accept this unexpected defeat in front of their fans and this was a bad result in the midst of top competition. Napoli should have been able to beat Empoli easily, but what happened was unexpected and Napoli couldn't even score a goal in this match. Napoli also made substitutions but that didn't change any impact on the match. Rudi Garcia looks like he will receive a stern warning after this match and it is possible that his fate as Napoli coach is only a matter of time until he is finally fired by the Napoli owner.

Obviously this is a bad result, playing at home against a team that is in the relegation zone, but what happened was that Napoli lost at home. In fact, if we consider the odds available before the start of the match, in reality Napoli is highly projected to win. But still, these odds don't really provide the right predictions for Napoli to win easily in this match. I don't know whether with these bad results Rudi Garcia will be fired or not because basically Napoli so far have not had a stable performance. But the unacceptable result at this moment is, Napoli lost at home by Empoli who are basically in the relegation zone, and this is a bad and very disappointing result and defeat of course.
The problem is that in the 12 matches that have been played, Napoli only got 6 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses. This is clearly not a good result from the club that won the Scudetto last season and if this inconsistency continues then Napoli will find it difficult to compete again for the title. Moreover, even though they are in the top 4, now they are starting to be threatened by shifts from several other teams such as Atalanta, Fiorentina, Roma and Bologna whose points difference is small enough to be able to overtake Napoli. I think Napoli have to move quickly and they can't let Rudi Garcia continue to train this team and don't let them fall out of the top 4 positions which are now starting to become vulnerable.
