2701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 13, 2022, 01:12:46 PM
Chances are high for Casimero to win against Butler, but he shouldn't take him lightly and not overlook Butler.
He will certainly take it seriously, he knows what at stake in this fight, he could lose his chance to fight against the champion in the same division, I'm talking about Inoue and Donaire, so it's a must for him.

And when he his then it's the time to call out Inoue again and see how Inoue will respond from Casimero's trash talking. Most likely it can be setup by Arum this year, if and only if he is willing his cash cash to get damage, LOL.
Bob has no option but to give a good fight to Inoue, otherwise, that would not make him a great fighter, or the best thing to do for him is to go up in weight   so he can complete get away with the challenge of Casimero.
2702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 13, 2022, 12:28:22 PM
Donaire for instance have tried to go up in weight but was knock out.
That was really wrong decision for him, but at least he tried although he failed. Donaire is now a champion and maybe soon we will see him having a rematch with Inoue as these two boxers could attract the crowd. Ancajas is still young, he is making his own name so let's hope him success and he should win his battle.
You can tell it's a wrong decision but he was brave enough to test his limit, and he did the right thing because he gets more popular although his attempt failed. Donaire is now a champion, probably the oldest champion ( correct me if I'm wrong).

Donaire has no rumored fight this year, but for sure there's one coming now that Inoeu and Donaire have no fight scheduled this year yet. It still depends on their promoter, and knowing Top Rank, they want a bigger fight always that their fighter has a good chance of winning, and Donaire should be a good target.
2703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: February 12, 2022, 09:58:08 PM
In the first place, you just need to know already the possible risk of the trading, I guess you come on the peak of the market and bought with the wrong position the market is volatile so if you think the knowledge you have are still lacking to commit a trade better to hold your assets.  Again don't invest what you afford to lose not all the ads saying that you can earn double up in crypto is legit its all about your knowledge and current capital to start.
This is the reason why you need to be fully prepared before entering the trading market, be it spiritually, physically, and mentally. And of course, your capital should always be considered as you only have to trade on the amount you can afford to lose. I guess OP, you are literally trying to be rush in making profits when in fact, you still have no experience at all. So expect that you will make faults along the way, but that won't be enough reason to stop learning from trading, just take a break while trying to improve all what you have learned from trading.
2704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradig Course - Beginner on: February 12, 2022, 09:39:59 PM
I come to find out i have to reevaluate my game and seriously need a beginner crypto trading course.
Does anybody know a good course for beginners? I would really appreciate your input.
Are you looking for paid courses? Which I really don't recommend it. You are right that there lot of available online.
Here's some advice I can about trading courses, you should be consistent once you started learning. Focus and dedication.

Here's a channel on Telegram where most of the content is about trading cryptocurrency, this is by @EmperorBTC (https://t.me/EmperorbtcTA)
Famous and very helpful trader on Twitter crypto.
There are more risk engaging in paid courses as most of them do not satisfy your needs, and worst you fall into their scams. So if you can be at  your due diligence, just put an extra effort learning online as there are a lot of free materials there. For all you know, those paid trading courses that you are going to take are only getting their resources on the online sites wherein you can get them for free.
2705  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Inflation is a big problem for a country? on: February 12, 2022, 09:21:17 PM
Inflation isn't actually a problem, we just accept it to be a problem because wages growth doesn't coincide with inflation. Granted, it's unreasonable for wage growth to keep up with inflation if it's something like 5 percent; if the banks target inflation at 2 percent and actually manage to keep it there, there wouldn't be any talks about inflation because most people in a working economy can garner a 2 percent wage increase year over year.

Issue right now is most countries shut down their economies for COVID while increasing the money supply, so the economic growth was not able to keep up with disproportionate amount of money that was being spent. Wage growth might've gone up by 2-3 percent if you're lucky, but inflation could've been at 5 percent plus, meaning you have less purchasing power.
Well said. Inflation may not be a big issue on regular people if there are also seen increased in the wages on the minimum earners. Even if this fast rising inflation continue to increase, as well as the wages of the people too, there will still be high purchasing power just like before inflation has started. But as most of the countries have failed to control inflation, so we should just accept the fact that saving more this time and investing into crypto may protect us from inflation, as crypto has always been showing deflation.
2706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get more women to be involved in Crypto on: February 12, 2022, 08:57:32 PM
Personally, I can say that now there are a lot of women who are involved in cryptocurrency. The fact is that it was women who attracted me to engage in cryptocurrency. And now I’m just surprised that at the moment there are few women on the crypto market who are engaged in cryptocurrency. And from all that has been said, we can say that men and women of different ages are engaged in cryptocurrency.
It's not surprising then because as long as we're tech savvy, its get easier to access and know more about crypto. And women are mostly talented and have their own skills that will make them excel in such fields. No wonder why one of those women has convinced you to engage in crypto. However, women are mostly exposed in not so high risk investments, and crypto industry is well dominated with males. But if they are given chances to explore into crypto, that will be the start that women will occupy a high percentage in crypto investing.
2707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 12, 2022, 08:09:56 PM
I suggest, focus on your own and continue on gaining new experiences and widen your knowledge. That way, it will make you a smart and wise investor that knows how to take advantage on the market flaws.
Yeah, when relying on our own things, then we will get confused at possible lesser amount. Moreover, people who are following multiple different technical analysis are getting confused but at the same time traders who are following only one technical analysis and firmly sticking to it are never getting confused and they are simply exiting at target or stoploss levels without giving room to their emotions.

For traders all the price changes in the market that are not really based on fundamental data or no information is called noise. It adds nothing new to the market that confusion.
This is because, market price changes are influenced by different aspects but primarily due to emotions and traders psychological things never get into any mathematics hence you will find market volatility as a different one on every day which always strange and confusing to all beginners.
Know that once you entered the crypto market, you're in for a wild ride. Lot of investors have different says on the market and if you tolerate yourself to believe them, that's when you start seeing that the market is so confusing. And market volatility is always the top reason. However, if you know you the main reason why you invested in the first place, then you should not be confused. Focus on your own market analysis based on how you understand the market, and not how other people perceived about the market.
The market will always be confusing especially on part of the newbies. And as long as volatility stays, it will always give us reasons to be more dynamic than to be static. However, one should know all of these before entering the market. This is the reason why crypto investors should be more mentally prepared because the crypto market is full of challenges and risk and if you can't bear riding in them, you will always end up losing.
2708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: February 11, 2022, 09:18:06 PM
As most of you know in this forum, bitcoin has more advantages over fiat money. fiat money is under the control of governments. With fiat money, we do not have 100% control over our assets. But Bitcoin is not like that and we can freely trade it anywhere in the world without the control of third parties. However, Mexico's third wealthiest man (Ricardo Salinas Pliego) agrees with us and said in a recent interview:

Quote
"Government intervention has always been a factor in setting the gold standard," Salinas explained. "And fiat enables infinite financing."

So as you can see, Ricardo Salinas Pliego has come to the conclusion that bitcoin is a better alternative to fiat money.

Will governments and important people reach this conclusion this year? (I think these events could cause BTC to cross the 36,000 channel)
Bitcoin let it be like a bitcoin and keep it growing.

And let Fiat be a fiat even if it will turn into CBDC or whatever is

I am sure that every time there is a change in decade, all aspects will continue to follow it, with the emergence of an idea or breakthrough.

it is good for investing but not for transacting, because the price is not fixed so we as owners can feel a loss if bitcoin is in a period of correction,
and I'm not sure all countries accept the existence of bitcoin cs,  into their government, because fiat is easy to regulate even though it always results in inflation
I really appreciate and agree with your comments.
As said by D ltr, Bitcoin is suitable as an investment instrument not as a transaction because of the problem of price volatility which tends to be a large, also the transaction fees that be expensive (for small transaction activities if it is related to daily needs). For small transactions related to daily needs when compared to Bitcoin as a transaction I would prefer to use Fiat money.

Bitcoin will be a better currency than fiat, but as long as volatility exists, the people will always doubt about it knowing it can't even give a fixed value. As long as the government is not seeing its real worth and value, bitcoin will forever be an investment. And i think there's no need to rush in making bitcoin as a currency because once it will be declared as a legal tender, its volatility will be slowly controlled, which will only mean that investors and traders will find less chances to make huge profits in bitcoin.
2709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A few key points distinguishing traders from gamblers on: February 11, 2022, 07:43:46 PM
People that say that trading and gambling are the same has never actually traded. Or maybe they did try trading but didn't actually know what they were doing. The illustration that you showed is correct. Trading requires skill and knowledge. Trading is more in making some long term gains and profit. But gambling requires no skill and depends all on luck. People gamble so they can get rich real quick. On trading they have control over their funds and risks. But in gambling, they have no control over the risk and the outcomes. Trading only becomes a form on gambling when people try to trade to make profits real quick (investing and trading shitcoins).
Trading and gambling have their own risks. While gambling lives only for short term and most of it are known to make negative returns, trading on the other hand can last for long, and there is more chances of making positive returns. However, there are also cases why traders turn into gamblers when they are trading with more excitement believing to get rich instantly, as long as they trade only to win, that looks like more on gambling.

2711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 10, 2022, 09:36:58 PM
The speed was there but he is not as fast as Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Rigo. However, if Rigo did not just run throughout the fight, it could be an exciting fight and Casimero will be able to show his might and could probably hurt Rigo in that fight, it was a boring fight and it's not expected that he could knock out a fighter who is not willing to take the risk to engage aggressively.
No one in boxing beats manny's prime's speed, so it's a bit meh comparing any boxers to manny regarding the speed.

The fight is not boring though, at least for me, its just not the typical boxing fight you see. It all means of strategy, casimero get that he will be counter punched always that's why he mostly wait until no punch was thrown.

Mayweather beat's him, and that is via unanimous decision. We all know that Mayweather is a fast and smart fighter, but unfortunately many would also agree that he is a boring fighter. That's my personal opinion also, a boxer cannot please everyone, he has some fans and haters as well, so we are biased on our judgment, but that's alright, that makes boxing more interesting because of the fans with different views.
2712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 10, 2022, 09:15:26 PM
I mean, Casimero still have those speed and strength needed to take down Butler but Casimero's enemy is himself now. Aside from that, IMO Casimero needs a bariatricians or nutritionist to watch him while his training for the fight.

The strength maybe but the speed? I think he is not fast enough, he could not even catch Rigo.  Smiley

I see Casimero successful because of his great timing in the ring, if he maintains his coolness and worth smarter, then for sure he will win the fight, and who knows he can score a knockout that would make people be interested more in him again.

2713  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 07, 2022, 09:58:05 PM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized which is why I think it doesn't have to compete with Fiat at all, those who needs the decentralized idea should just keep using BTC as it is, we all know that CBDC will run on the blockchain too but in centralised form so where thus this leave Bitcoin?

It's been stated in the past that bitcoin is only an alternative currency, even if it will grow its adoption, there's no way it will replace fiat which is widely used by the people unless the government will give way to crypto by legalizing and adopting it which I think is impossible as they will lose their control on a centralized currency.

Decentralized currency provides privacy but it will never kill the centralized currency, not even in my dreams.

2715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino KYC how it works and to what effect on: February 07, 2022, 08:39:37 PM
Not all casinos implement KYC, it depends on the set rules. There are still many casinos you can visit without having to go to KYC for withdrawals. You just need to select and sort them according to your wish where your personal data do not want to be given. Back again to one's preferences in dealing with KYC. That is why it is important to prioritize reading the casino rules before betting, so as not to become a complicated complaint, because most people bet in a hurry, when they want to make a withdrawal they are asked to KYC instead end up saying something bad to the casino.
Many are still good and don't apply KYC to their customers, only if they'll be good to their accounts. The casino will step on it if that person has been caught being distrustful.
That's when they will start asking for documents and proof of ownership and identity from that person. Just be sure that you're the person they really are dealing with because when they start being doubtful to you, you really have to proceed what's being asked.
What I did to avoid this problem is I spread my bets on different gambling sites. I understand that when you are gambling with a decent amount of money, you might become subject to KYC in the long run if you keep winning, so that is not good for me as it will defeat the purpose why I'm gambling using crypto casinos because of privacy.
2716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 07, 2022, 08:10:23 PM
There is especially at those who didn't able to watch Mike Tyson during his prime. The only chance for those people to watch the Legendary boxer is through an exhibition match. Be it against Logan Paul or any, Tyson should do another exhibition match. It's a great chance for those people who didn't witness how Mike Tyson is fighting in the ring.

I don't think that in the current state Tyson is close to what he could before. When I watch old videos, I understand how much he was ahead of his time (at least he was ahead of technical development) because the cameras of those years did not have time to adequately capture his movements. It's like watching hockey on an old TV (if you know what I mean) when you don't see the puck at all. I think that only those who saw those old Tyson fights live understand how fast and strong he was.

Even watching the old videos of Mike Tyson, I can already tell that he is fast and strong. He has bigger opponents but he was able to take him down, the legend really has the talent in boxing, but sometime in his career, he abuse his body and lose discipline that's why he didn't last and he retired early. But still, against a YouTuber, I think he is still too much for Logan Paul.
He wont become popular because of nothing, the only flaw i do see on Mike is on his stamina but when it comes to power and toughness then i dont really have doubts on him.
Even on old age then it would really be still believable that he could still pull some power punches and techniques that he had acquired on years of his boxing career
which even a young man couldnt able to bare out.I do still believe on his power despite of his age but we know that  this fight wont push through
because Mike isnt interested to fight Paul.

He is already 55 years old, you can easily say that his stamina cannot beat a younger fighter, however, he has a good skills in boxing, and he can finish this fight early if his opponent are willing to engage and give a toe to toe fight, so let's see if that would be the scenario.
2717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 07, 2022, 01:35:17 PM

I have to side with you on this. Casimero having the issue will affect everything. Paul Butler might take that as an advantage too. He is more well-prepared compared to Casimero that I think still resting at this point and not doing any hard training and workout.

We don't have any update about the Casimero today but we need to trust him. Although in reality, trust is not enough. A healthy and strong is needed as having just confidence can't be applied here.

Butler will surely do everything to make Casimero struggles now that he knows that the latter is having a health-related problem.

Health-related issues of Casimero will definitely going to be an edge of Butler on this fight and I guess this is the part where Casimero should prepared of because for sure this will be his disadvantage on this fight. I am not doubting on the capability, talent and skills of Casimero but yeah like what you did feel mate about him I am too concerned that Casimero issues will affect everything in his career. I know he is one of the good fighter but yeah he should resolve his self issues first to be able to win this fight.

Casimero would not start training if he is not fully healthy now, I guess we should focus more on his training, not on his issue before that resulted in the fight getting postponed, I'm confident that Casimero is 100% healthy going to the fight and he will successfully defend his title.

Inoue would not want to see Casimero to win here as he knows it will pressure him to fight Casimero as people are asking for it.
2718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 07, 2022, 12:37:55 PM
For now, I would not touch any game of the Nets, they are struggling but at the same time I also don't want to bet against them.

Good decision,  just watch them struggle, besides, we can still gamble since we have a lot of games on a daily basis.

Early leans, I have the following bets.

Warriors -12
Jazz -7.5
Heat -5.5

I like the bulls but I'm doubtful against the Phoenix Suns

I like the Warriors chances against the OKC with -12.5. Although it seems to be a big spread, but the Warriors is hot right now.

As for the Bulls, they've lost against the Sixers and they are on a back to back games. And they are going to face the Suns who is on top of the WC.

Same here, The Warriors are on a hot winning streak, 8 win streak to be specific, so I'm confident that they will continue their win streak against the OKC which have 3 wins only in their last 10 games. it could be a high spread, but the way they are playing, they will surely dominate the game again and beat the OKC with a good winning margin.

Great news for us, though we already know that they will resume in the 2nd week of this month but that official news is important for us to stop speculating. Good opening games.

we have Bolts vs Warriors, and in the 2nd game hotshots vs TNT.
My pick would be the NLEX and TNT.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: February 07, 2022, 09:40:39 AM

It is reported that Keith Thurman will be out of any boxing-related event for 22 months to heal his injury. He will again at hiatus instead of fighting again in the next 3-4 months. That will contribute to his inactivity on the boxing ring.

He will probably be at age 34-35 on his next fight. Age is a factor for a boxer that is not active.
While it is the Age always matter in Boxing yet the activities will contribute more , the practicing and the actual training is always the concept that a Boxer needs to pursue his career , so i hope even if he is healing injuries yet he needs to be active still with small training .

That is not good for him, he work hard for his comeback and had an impressive win but this happened. I guess his career is not really destined to make him a great boxer, if he comes back and fights a champion, I now have doubt that he could win, most likely he will lose due to ring rust and the age factor as well. Being active in boxing is very important, long layoff could really affect the performance of a boxer.
