2701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: April is the real alt season on: April 22, 2021, 09:22:41 PM
The month is ending but we're seeing pure reds on the charts and cryptos. Just as bitcoin drops, the leader, its constituents are also dropping.

But with the remaining week for this month, we're going to see if it's the real alt season just as described by OP. If not, there's no problem with that assumption.

There could be any other months for the said altcoin season if not, then it's already done then we enter the bear market.

Have we not seen a real altcoins season yet? or you are just expecting a bigger pump that we had already witness?

ETH, BNB, and DOGE, all of these coins have pump real hard, I guess that's the definition of altcoins season, and we can't expect that all the coins will pump, some are just shit coins and investors are now smarter so they can choose coins that are definitely having a great potential.
2702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: April 22, 2021, 02:54:37 PM
Hello Guys how r you.can you give me some suggestion about which Altcoin is best to buy now ??
Give your opinion. Thanks
You don't need to go anywhere and stop searching for cheap coins.
Just take a look at the top 20 altcoins. A lot of them a worthy for investment, though the price is a little bit high, and since we are looking for a coin that could give us ROI, there you can get some. But, I also remind you that never expect a lot from them, I mean, never think about x5, x10 because the reality is that, it is done already. We are in the bullish season and that rarely to happen this time unless we started to accumulate before the surge.
2703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wrong? on: April 22, 2021, 02:25:35 PM
Since Gates last appreciation regarding crypto back in 2018 when he said that he would short BTC if there was and easy way to do it, Bill Gates recently described Bitcoin as a mania/bubble so he is still pessimistic, while others like Elon Musk have revealed that they believe not only BTC could rise exponentially in value.

Who's right? Let's discuss.
Try to ask them for sure that they all stand correct in what they say. It may be too bad to say who is right and who is wrong because that is their individual's opinion and that remains respected no matter if that is nonsense or not.

These two people are known to us especially when talking about business and definitely have a huge experience. But among the two, it was Elon Musk feels an interest in this and appreciate crypto. But probably, Gates has the openness to reconcile what he saw about Bitcoin and it possible he will also adopt Bitcoin in the near future.
2704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 21, 2021, 10:13:28 PM

What you say only proved that his tweets has a huge impact on Bitcoin. You already showed two examples how few simple words influence on the whole market. I would add the case when he used a #bitcoin hashtag in his twitter profile and Bitcoin immediately gained few thousands. And this is just a tweet impression on the market. Imagine him making an article or talking on TV about Bitcoin. This could easily destroy Bitcoin or put it on the same level as top fiat currencies. But in this case worlds government will react immediately by banning or prohibiting holding it, to protect fiat from uncontrolled danger.
Seems that Elon Musk has enjoyed playing or shilling the crypto he wanted to promote and seems that he being a powerful man alive because of his wealth manage to make DOGE popular at the eye of the people and he also uses a #Bitcoin on his tweets too. But on the other side we have also witnessed how does it affected both in Bitcoin and Doge at the same time the effect were I guess went on the same result, but what more hesitant on his action was what his true intention was, because it seems that the crypto market was messing up.
Indeed, DOGE already reach the moon and I don't think we will see it at $1 anytime soon, so probably Elon is now thinking of a new coin to shill, probably a high supply coin that is still valued at a very low price now, that's what we should watch as bandwagon is real once he shill a new one.

Srsly, you people criticze load management? With all the extra injuries and the shortened season we had this year? And especially for players like Steph who basically carry the whole team?

Load management is only smart. No one gives a flying eff about one game here or there, if the star player can stay healthy. The Warriors aren't going anywhere without Steph, and he's 33 and carrying a huge load, he better get some rest. Same for all the other teams and their stars. From this perspective as a Lakers fan I am happy LeBron and AD are getting some rest now while recuperating from their injuries. Wonder how they gell with Drummond, but it's great they have the rest. Winning the regular season gets no banners, just ask the Clippers.

Load management is okay if it's not abuse by some team, injuries do really happen even with a load management as you cannot be sure than once you step in the court, you'll not be injured. They should review the load management and make it more strict probably.

As a fan, I always expect to see my favorite player playing in any game, but with this load management, sometimes they rest so that's just frustrating and it's actually more frustrating if you have bought a ticket and you are in the arena and then you find out that the star player will not play due to load management.

Looks like salary now has become an issue in the PBA, especially from these Phil AM players who are in demand and could play in other leagues that could give a competitive salary, maybe they just have to remain humble, besides it's just temporary of being a rookie, just like getting into the job, we started as probationary and we don't receive a big salary, but once we pass that period, we will be regularize and might be promoted as well, so that's the time where we can achieve a good salary.
2707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 20, 2021, 09:31:17 PM
With DOGE being down by 30% in 24 hours, I think people soon will start to panic, and DOGE will dump more, lucky are those who were able to sold at a good price so they can already enjoy a profit and transfer that investment to other altcoins with real potential, hype is on, once its over, panic will start.
2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you trust social media influencers on cryptocurrencies. on: April 20, 2021, 01:50:12 PM
Social media influencers are no more knowledgeable about cryptocurrency, when compared to you or me. Their recommendations are purely based on their own monetary benefits. In some cases they get paid to promote certain coins and in other instances these people may be owning large quantities of coins or tokens that they are promoting. While there is nothing wrong in investing in such coins, I would say that you need to do careful research on your own before doing that.
It is very unfortunate and we gonna call this a business. Money is above all, that what I saw this time, the more money you have, the more influential you are. And these innocent and NO-HOW media influencers take that offer without knowing what will happen next or they are dragging one's life to hell. However, as people grasp some learning and more market awareness plus their experiences it teaches them not to listen and believe this kind of curse. They are acted base of their own thinking, not coming from these influencer.
2709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 20, 2021, 12:45:16 PM
It took only 1 year to turn one person into whole cryptocurrency conductor. He says Bitcoin - its price go down, he makes a joke and the price of other altcoin goes down. That is scary because there is nothing to put against him. We are slowly approaching from anonymous and independent payment system into dictatorship. And what worse, what ever he does, his influence on crypto only grows stronger.
In few years the scenario from most of blockbuster movies will be repeated. One powerful persons will lose his mind and people will try to overthrow him.
yeah, that is how he could easily manipulate the market even just through his tweets, then people got crazy. He was now continuing to enjoy the moment and he proves himself that he can do something big in any aspect of society.
We definitely appreciate his participation in the crypto world but we somehow bothered to what will happen to the future of the market if that so easy, as a single person, a word he speaks and tweets could change the trend. There is something special to this person that we can never found in a normal individual.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 19, 2021, 09:23:03 PM
Just imagine how capable the Jazz of beating the Lakers today.

Last outing, Jazz almost had a win against the Lakers, they only gas out in the OT, but this time, they can use the service of Gobert and Conley being a good point guard, so it's an automatic win by the Jazz. Don't overthink on this game, bet on the Jazz while you can.
2711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 17, 2021, 09:04:20 PM
I have to say, I am very impressed with what the New York Knicks are putting together this season.  I sure did not see this coming, but with that said I'm also not surprised being that they are coached by Tom Thibodeau.  As a Chicago Bulls fan I was absolutely furious when the Bulls management forced him out of Chicago.  He may be absolutely "basketball nuts", as he's a bit overboard with his passion for the game at times, but he sure does get results.  I believe the Knicks have the best defense in the game right now...crazy.

Same here mate, I did not also expect that Julius Randle will be this good in this season. I don't usually watch every game of the Knicks but man, they are on a hot streak now and Randle made 44 points and 10 rebounds against Luka's team, I never seen him put up this kind of numbers before to be honest.

Randle has been posting numbers lile that all season.  I usually watch every game and randle has been nothing short of amazing this year.  His baseline jump shot is sick and he has been amazing on the boards and running the team.  Finally enjoyable to watch after years of throwing terrible teams out there.

I guess I really missed it, from now on I'll follow them as I like to bet on them since they are hot. I love the fact that they are undervalued on the bookies side, they always give a good odds for the Knicks bettors, just like the last game against the Mavericks. So if Randle is putting these kind of numbers consistently, maybe he can be part for of the choices for the MVP this season, what's the chances?
2712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: April 17, 2021, 08:37:56 PM
Sometimes when a coin pumps hard and starts to dump, novice will panic sell due to fear or other reasons, while the whales will buy up the dump and mop it all and then pump it even harder.... So don't always panic sell, be in control of your emotions, although it isn't easy, but with practice you will perfect and master it.......Every new trade is a journey and a new destination...... Always dyor

What do you think about this circumstance ? am i overthinking this ? share your views.

You are not, that's just the reality in crypto, once the bear market comes, we will witness panic selling and now we are in bull market, we are seeing panic buying, it's just how the market cycle of crypto is happening, so it's just easy to predict if we are just patient enough.

I've been using a simple strategy which is to buy during bear market and sell during bull run, like I said, it needs patience especially on waiting the bull run.
This time is suppose to enjoy selling already while newbie are buying.
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: April 17, 2021, 08:08:48 PM
I'm hopeful that this term would be reinstated as it was previously. For a good analyst with good business experience, this idea is the fastest way to develop money. Recently, I saw that one of the best ICOs, Student Coin, was launching at the start of February. But first, we'd like to see some ICOs flourish, as they did previously.
It takes time before people will trust the ICO platform again, but with a lot of platform being offered, more secure, then I guess ICO will not bring back its glory days if ever it will come back again. We are already in altcoin season, but we are not still see numbers of successful project from ICO, I think that would already say something on the future of ICO.
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 17, 2021, 07:57:52 PM
With this big disappointments, I'm wondering if we can still bet on these sports in the future.
I mean, like MPBL, it's a popular league next to PBA, and when there's a controversy inside about sports rigging, will sportsbook still list this game?

Bookies will never get affected, they are in control of the line and they can always minimiz the risk by balancing both sides. It's the bettors who loss on the losing team will sacrifice but bookies will continue to make money. Also, they can limit the market of this bet if they found it unreliable, but would not totally remove it from betting market.

Maybe, they are always in business to offer us a chance to gamble no matter what the reputation of the game, as long as the public is betting and the action can be balance, bookies will take this as an opportunity, nice explanation mate, these people really are clever, more clever than those who are rigging sports.

Indeed, that's why we don't have to worry on betting but worry on the reputation of our sports only.

Meanwhile, as Cone is excited on the new tandem, I'm sure the fans are more than excited.

Cone excited to roll out new Standhardinger-Aguilar combination

Imagine how they can dominate the inside.  Cheesy

2716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Gambling 'or' Day trading cryptos- Which one is more lucrative? on: April 17, 2021, 02:38:46 PM
I think that was obvious to see. And since I also engage into both of them, I could really say that trading is more profitable but of high risk.
Gambling needs luck in order for us to win and with some application to the gambling skills which is far different from trading where we don't need luck. Maybe sometimes we ask for it but not necessary.

The good thing about trading is that if you are good in TA's, deep knowledge in trading, and have good strategies, it for sure you will gain profit. Unlike if you are in gambling, cos even though you are an expert but we still rely on hope and luck especially for card games that mostly never comes to us.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doegecoin As a Joke? on: April 17, 2021, 02:09:13 PM
Why people Treat "Doegcoin" As a Joke?

Because Dogecoin was made that way, Its a meme coin, and that reputation will always be attached to Dogecoin forever, And when Elon Musk started to shill Dogecoin its price was artificially pumped to go higher but we could not set aside the fact that the more the price was pumped the risk is also going higher and this reality should be considered if anybody wants to hold Dogecoin. Anyway today I was convinced that Dogecoin became a pump and dump coin.
And it deserves to be called a joke coin in the crypto market. And might possible also that Elon Musk is doing a joke and find this coin it worth for that.

That is how Dogecoin looks like and that is why only no-how investors will take this. I'm not sure why Elon promotes Doge or that something he needs to proves that he was an influential person that can everything and even does the pumps for a shit/joke coin in the market.
2718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: April is the real alt season on: April 17, 2021, 01:41:39 PM
Alt season is thriving so much this month. I am missing out for reals. Been trading all year and finally stop this month lol. I took a break n did other hobbies. Like mining.. must have missed out and I waited 4 yrs for this event if u call it that..  still got like 6 months left.. imo .. my real alt bag is ethereum though.. waiting for like 200% gains.. if its truly here lol.. if not this 6 months then a brutal 4 yr bear market again.. history often repeats itself and often rhymes too.
As seen on the market, probably yes for that. However, the uprising trend still ongoing and we can't say that the bullish season will just end next month. For sure not, but instead, I was thinking about the continued increase in prices.
But as well all know, the volatility presences are still there, anytime the market dumps and turn to bearish again. So even the market showing an impressive market pumps this quarter but then, this will never give us the assurance that it will be going fine till next quarter.
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 16, 2021, 11:14:39 PM
Zion Williamson has been going off lately, averaging nearly 30 points per game and his fg% is off the charts.  He's the #8 leading scorer in the NBA now and his recent games would have him at #3 if he went at that pace all year.  I guess when people expect a lot from you, they don't show much appreciation.

Maybe because he is still too young and he does not have a good season last season.. well, if his team will be in the playoffs this season, then he will be in the discussion especially if they will win even in the first round as probably that woudl be an upset to the higher seed.

Quote
This kid is having a major breakout season and it seems like nobody is talking about it.  I think next year his stats will be so good that he'll start entering the MVP discussion, then maybe people will starting putting some 'spect on his name.
Not everyone sees that as they are just strong teams, but like I said, if they'll win at least one round this playoffs, then his name will be in the list could possibly be one of the starters in the next all star.
2720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No year of altcoins coming. All the big money is pouring into bitcoin. on: April 16, 2021, 10:49:48 PM
I think all altcoins also have the support of funds from every investor to move the price. altcoin price movements during this period were quite large compared to previous years.

Not really that large, you can verify it by comparing the dominante rate of bitcoin in the past bull run to the current. As of the current (https://coinmarketcap.com/) you can see that its still 51% dominant rate for bitcoin, last altcoin season it drop below that percent to 40% ror 3% range.
