i would have liked to participate personally but unfortunately i will not be able to be there, i really hope that there will be a live broadcast of the event or a recording to see...
I agree it would be nice to see their presentation live, but i doubt there will be a broadcast but i am sure they will make some videos for their promotion, they have perfect opportunity. it would be silly not to have a live stream. but I'm sure they'll make some videos out of it. even if they will not broadcast the event, i'm sure the event will be well documented and after that it will be possible to watch several videos that will amply show what happened... |

I've been watching this project for almost one year now. The team has always been distant from this forum. Is there any platform that the team actually uses for communication?
Having lack of communication within the community could have a negative effect on this project and I hope they will no be misinterpreted by the project's supporters and do the necessary actions to correct it. unfortunately the team rarely communicates on all available channels,they should make regular communications with the community even in the absence of big news let's say at least once a week to reassure supporters... |

I'm sorry for the noob sounding question but I give myself a pass due to the fact that I am very busy and haven't done more than quickly scan the white paper. I love the idea of planets attached to land parcels. The compact parcels offered other VR Real Estate projects was very limiting for someone that wanted to make use of their investment.
My main question is, what are the limitations here and what prerequisite skills are required to build something that could be monetized in this new world full of other worlds?

This is an interesting question, i reckon if there is going to be the possibility to make almost everything, like in second life is going to be quite cool to see how it evolves. This will evolve our end goal is to be able to make everything. what can you show to convince your answer? I think there are a lot of projects that promise a good result and get a lot of benefits, but in the end they can't say except make an argument to cover up their failure. if the team can provide a more reasonable explanation I don't think it's difficult to get people interested in this project Screenshots on how this 3D modelling will actually look like would be nice. Also maybe some examples how the 3D models from the community store look like. We can make a small example area, but we didnt evolve the whole system so we can't make it big. Would make it to slow to run on one server. I will ask our team to set something up! i personally believe that the jarvis project does not depend on changes in the market, the only thing related to the market is the amount of any fundraising investments, but since there is no soft cap the project will still go ahead and i think it will be one of the best of 2k18...

we have to look at the whole of the project to see all its aspects, it has some strong points like the security token, the future sto platform, the network but the project is much more that these features taken individually one by one...

Taking into account the regulatory pressures and all the inconveniences caused by the SEC to previous projects, would this really be a good idea? Or would they bring them closer to the risk of legal sanctions? I saw some projects accepting payments via cards so, there must be some kind of void between the regulatory guidelines. accepting payments with fiat for fundraising could encourage new investors to invest but it could be more complicated from a legal point of view, perhaps the payment with the cards could be a middle ground... |

This sounds interesting. Virtual reality is a future such as blockchain as well. Decentraland is became very popular already... May be this project will become popular too. But how you will monetize this? They will build tax offices in every city of course.  how will they monetize? the various things that can be purchased in the virtual world will be bought with tokens (therefore profit) and will be then taxed all the shops, casinos, nightclubs and even properties of the lands (therefore other gains)... |

in the current market situation there are many projects delaying or stopping the sale of tokens, even worse it has returned investors funds (when the value has decreased). so what about you, if the minimum target is not reached?
They actually don't have a softcap which means they will continue with the project no matter how much they raise. Yeah, they are developing their exchange for a quite some time now already. Considering the current market situation it's great that they don't rely on reaching a softcap. this according to me is a good news do not have a soft cap and still continue the project regardless of the funds raised is the best choice with this bear market... |

i think dusk is a project that deserves to succeed, it have a winning idea for this i think the ico will succeed and manage to raise enough funds to finish the project even in these adverse conditions of the market...

I concur. Fiat is the only stable coin at the moment. Back in the summer of 2017 ICOs could gamble on a growing market and keep their crypto currencies but these days it is too much of a risk. The intersting thing is, that now with crypto at the bottom, it should be more rational to take crypto currency because it will go more upwards than fiat in the next years.  But for the short time and to make sure the project remains capable of action FIAT is probably the more stable choice. no one can predict when a new bull market phase will starts so for now i think that opening up investments with fiat is the only way to calm investors and let them continue investing... |

Some ICOs are already offering this and i dont see why wouldnt you give ur investors this option, of course, you have to make sure you are obeying all the regulations. Who knows when we will see another bull run and ETH/BTC will start to gain value again. waiting for a new phase bull of the market they(team) maybe should really organize to accept investments also in fiat in order to offer more alternatives to potential investors... |
