I stop bitcoin gambling for a while now. But when i gamble in the past I always like to play and bet in esports games like in dota 2 and Cs Go. But always found myself losing every game I bet. When I bet in Esports I choose my favorite team I think only won 2x in a row but still lose all my investment in the end, and realize I should stop. So today one of my teachers came to me after school. She and some of her colleagues talked about ways that they can invest their money and save up (as teachers in South-Africa aren't really paid well) one of them then mentioned Bitcoins and how Cryptocurrencies are showing very high growth. Then some or other teacher mentioned that I have some knowledge about Bitcoin (still have no idea how they knew that) But anyway long story short- Tomorrow I am doing a presentation for all my school's staff +/- 50 people about Cryptocurrencies, and then possibly to the whole school.
Yeah, just some short story I thought I would share, about a practical example of how Bitcoin is reaching the masses.
Good news for us then. Also, I 've been promoting bitcoin with my 10 friends when are drinking at the bar. They have been telling me How much do I have bitcoin from now. Then I keep telling them its hard to earn and I only have little bitcoin in my wallet. But I withdraw a lot of Fiat money for a while for doing easy jobs like signature campaigns. They ask me many questions about bitcoin again and again. But when it comes in the morning when they are not drunk I ask them again if they really want to learn bitcoin. Sadly they just ignore me. The good side is I have now 2 of my friends are now starting to learn bitcoins. |

Same as was gambling
Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.
It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.
In the end it ends bad.
Don't compare drugs on bitcoin, Its addictive but bitcoin doesn't ruin people lives like abusive used to drugs, People addictive to gamble usually accused bitcoin to be ruining their financial status. But it's not that, Bitcoin doesn't make people addictive to gamble. It's the self-discipline of the people who play gamble on how to manage his/her self when it comes to gambling. Simple if you don't want to get addicted, then don't play or bet. |

I think XMR still do best, In mining, an example is you can use your CPU and GPU's to mine XMR on your computer. Also, one the best and popular altcoins that have been made. Lol, I think some GPU's Today is now profitable in mining. There is the latest release that specially made to mine Bitcoin gold, Xmr, cryptonight, decred and other more. This GPU miners are really cheap and good to start a mining only from home with an ROI in 1 year or less, Depends on how strong and fast your GPU's are. Just like me, I'm testing 1 GPU to mine for now. But in the future will plan to buy more strong and good profiting graphics cards. |
