2701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Find Satoshi? on: April 10, 2019, 12:09:40 PM
A question which will be a legend in this currency.
Even we try to find Satoshi by tracking him, can we really find him?
Will he let us find him? and if we do! how sure are we that we are correct? there are some people claiming they are Nakamoto but we dont believe them.

That claim are obviously fake! I don't believe any of them. But real Satoshi can be found in future. I believe in that. I don't know that he reveal himself or we find him Smiley But one day we will.
2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Find Satoshi? on: April 09, 2019, 05:16:44 PM
Here we go again. Another Satoshi thread. Don't you guys ever get tired of being curious as to Satoshi and his whereabouts? The man or woman or a group of people etc developed something amazing and left.

Satoshi clearly wants to stay hidden which is why we need to respect that instead of trying to satisfy our curiosities.

Since we do not stop running after human curiosity, we still do not live by burning fire in caves. Modern life and technology, even the creation of Bitcoin, was created by asking a curiosity and question.

Yeah, I'm sure Satoshi's not coming back, but that's not stopping you from trying to reach him. Even if he died somehow, it would be nice to know. Also, at the point we came today, I think there are a lot of questions that we ask Satoshi to answer.

And last, I respect him call about being hidden.

While I was just reading the conversations about Satoshi in another post, a question stuck in my mind

We know that with Genesis Block, Satoshi revealed the first Bitcoins. And from that day on, the blockchain network began to work actively. Satoshi disappeared after a while. (I don't think he'll be back) He left behind a great legacy. But if all the blocks are actually viewable from the past today, somehow, since all the transactions have been followed since the first blocks, couldn't Satoshi be found?

I'm not talking about a simple thing, I know. But if you think that the first mining started with Satoshi and he didn't change a lot of wallets, it seems to me that the wallet can be traced. And either the first blocks after the first Satoshi disappeared could give us some clues.

Wallets known to be Satoshi can also be followed, for example I'm sure they will give you a few hints. (All these conversations, valid only if he is still alive, of course!)

Of course, he can be tracked if he moves the BTC, the problem is that his BTC hasn't been moved, if you take a look for the first blocks the mining reward still unspent, that's how people calculate the total number of bitcoins that satoshi owns and he has 1 million of bitcoins stuck.

If one of those 50BTC block rewards get spent, we can be sure the police will be knocking a door in the next minute.

Actually I mean something else. I think, after genesis block first mining activities belong to Satoshi. So this Bitcoin which mined that time is still active or holding in same wallet. It may give us a hint.

I also have same question. Why do you want to find him? Bitcoin not works like is wrote in whitepaper? You not like the price or? You see that Satoshi sell mined bitcoins from his wallets?

I think I answered this question at my first answer. Look up!

2704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Development- how did Satoshi stay anonymous? on: April 09, 2019, 08:55:41 AM
I know an easier and more efficient method. And it's completely free.

I'm creating a paper wallet by closing access to the Internet. Then I print it again with an offline printer. Moreover, because it was very simple I did it 25-30 times in a row and I took out each one (2 copies). What I don't use is that they're standing there. I put a public key of these wallets into Google Drive with an excel file. When any amount is entered, I process the transaction with my mobile device and follow the status of the wallets.

I've also kept these wallets in two reliable locations. Also for the time being, a wallet is used in a flash disk.

Yes, Ledger, Trezor and others can be useful. However, the easiest method for investments that we call HODL is still a paper wallet and I think this is a method that is fully compatible with the nature of Bitcoin.
2705  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cointalkforum 0.001 FREE BTC By Claim? on: April 08, 2019, 07:37:32 PM
0.001 Ethereum today, although the price has risen considerably, it is only $ 0.18. Instead, it makes more sense to join an airdrop or bounty. By the way, I never use any other forums for crypto talks. Bitcointalk is enough.
2706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still experiencing the bearish market? on: April 05, 2019, 07:46:05 AM
Don't be hasty to Bull Run. It could be at Bull Trap. So let's not be hasty. Wait for the rise of Bitcoin first, then the altcoins will rise in order.
2707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICO have Advisors compulsorily? on: April 05, 2019, 07:41:51 AM
I have seen many ICOs' having advisors for namesake and only a few have for real. Can we believe a project based on the Advisors?

Or is it necessary for ICOs' to have Advisors before Token sale? Seen some using Bounty campaign to get Advisors.

Sometimes these consultants can be very effective, but sometimes they don't. For example, Roger VER is currently Azbit's Advisor, but it has almost never been effective.
2708  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to gain trust of users on a new free crypto website? on: April 04, 2019, 08:05:51 AM
Hi there! I own the domain havesomeco.in, and I am working on developing it into a full fledged free cryptocurrency site. I plan to have over 5 different free cryptocurrencies offered, and you'll obtain them through various means.

My question is, and maybe someone has more experience like with an ICO or something similar to my service, how do I gain user's trust? I KNOW I would pay people, but they don't necessarily know that. There are so many sketchy sites out there, and I don't want to appear sketchy because I'm trying to offer a legitimate service.

Another thing - how can I raise money to help put toward development of the site? Preferably in blockchain contributions, but that, again, seems suspicious - I could just run off with the money for all people know.

Thank you.

I think the domain has been very creative and beautiful. However, it is very difficult to succeed through a website. We have dozens of reliable and successful websites. You may have to do something very remarkable.

And I can't reach your website right now. Is there any problem or you prepare it now?
2709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World’s first lightning-enabled Bitcoin ATM on: April 04, 2019, 08:00:39 AM
Do you think there is a connection between the start of a bitcoin price rise and the succession of many good news? In these days, many good news are coming...
2710  Other / Off-topic / Re: I want to buy home with bitcoin. on: April 03, 2019, 01:56:50 PM

2711  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdraw problem on: April 03, 2019, 01:52:05 PM
are you sure that this site even exists? i can't even find any information about it online. there is a "crypto-trade.com" website which is dead now and was created in 2014 but the one you posted with an "n" can hardly be found by searching. and the site itself looks very shady to be honest.

there is a good chance that you have been scammed...
https://crypton-trade.com/
Here is the link and it's Crypton-trade

I am sorry my friend but it is %100 SCAM. I saw different 4-5 websites with new names. Their only purpose is to defraud people. I hope you didn't make a deposit. Each of these sites uses the same interface and is trying to steal your money in many ways. You have a chrome extension that you are directed to use. Do not install your wallet on the purpose of it do not set up your computer.
2712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at 4700 USD now. Bull run expected. on: April 02, 2019, 09:20:57 AM
Next to April day we got massive growth on bitcoin and all other crypto currency in the market. Join hands and hodl more to make next bull run again. I believe before this month end we can see bitcoin's growth will touch 5k to 5.5k USD again.

Keep share your speculation guys, want to learn more about the upcoming growth on BTCTC

We may need a little more patience for the Bull season, of course. It's good to not hurry. We need to move up to 5600. Then the altcoins will begin to rise again.
2713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkit Update on: April 02, 2019, 09:18:21 AM

Quote
Over the last year, we’ve worked closely with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on an extensive process to obtain regulatory approval for the launch of our physically delivered bitcoin futures. While we’re not yet able to provide a launch date, we’re making solid progress in bringing the first physical delivery price discovery contracts for bitcoin to the U.S., where price formation will occur in federally regulated, transparent markets.

https://medium.com/bakkt-blog/progress-report-9ac2c519d262

Delay, delay, delay... I can't count anymore. Bakkt sold it fake news the markets over and over again. It is unreliable anymore. If I were investors, I never would invest or join their platform. They are trying to create a great platform but they've not prepared for it such a long time. Obviously, it is not related with preparation. They are waiting bull season.

I definitely don't recommend to invest in bull season like this futures. Trading will be definitely more profitable.
2714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing News , Wu 's New Coin OverMind has arrived , all bow before it. on: April 02, 2019, 09:11:31 AM

On top of that, no one can mine this coin because it only mineable with Wu specially buidl miner, also it don't come cheap. Prepare your wallet.
The specially build miner is called 'Wu Miner' and can be brought only using 'OverMind' coin. The price of Wu Miner is 10 OverMind coins and we can also get special discount if the reference is from Jihan Wu himself. The Wu Miner has been incorporated with Jihan Wu's mind using artificial intelligence and can mine blocks rapidly.

I got it, it's some excerpt from the Wu(white) paper, it's very nicely written, I would recommend anyone to download it into their PC, you won't be upset by the English version of his Wu paper.

It was obvious that it was April 1st. I'm hoping it didn't take seriously. It would be a shield to go after friends without misleading.

It is such a reality that you think Smiley
2715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing News , Wu 's New Coin OverMind has arrived , all bow before it. on: April 01, 2019, 09:24:48 AM

Wu 's New coin has a block speed of 1 second, with a scalable block size of 1 TB.

And the story end... 1TB block size would just be funny Smiley Which connection can provide such a big size of data Smiley  If my mom and dad is the same person then it can be true Smiley
2716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will atomic swaps replace crypto currency exchanges? on: March 31, 2019, 08:22:27 PM
I think the Exchange has proven themselves with what they have done for a while. (Yes, despite all the bad events) Because people are still trading millions of pounds on exchanges every day.

I follow the projects that make Atomic Swap. There are projects that I think are very successful. But I think there is no serious progress yet.
2717  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinBene: Exchange Lost At Least $105 Million on: March 31, 2019, 08:09:27 PM
They've already made an announcement about this hacking issues. And they said that all investment on Coinbene in completely secure.

Their announcement if you want to read;
https://twitter.com/CoinBene/status/1110834180437336064

In a row, unfounded hack news began to be published. I'm not sure if someone is trying to create dump again, unnecessarily...
2718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is completely legal in at least 111 countries, and illegal in only 10 on: March 29, 2019, 06:14:13 AM
I'm not a man of law, but I know it's different. I think the some countries marked green, and the places that are marked green are showing no legal and non-ban countries.

But it's something different. For example, there is no prohibition in my country. But there is no legal regulation. And marked green. But in order to be legal, I think that a legal arrangement should be made in this country.
2719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laser-etching a Cold Storage Coin on: March 29, 2019, 06:06:49 AM
Anyone seen this video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SlhCQtG4tc

I was amazed and maybe this could be the next generation of cold storage. It was strange that the video was uploaded in 2017, maybe I was just late seeing it. Anyways, just wanted to share it to everyone in the community and maybe they can have an idea (maybe engraving our seed or private key).  Grin

It is an incredible video I've ever seen. It would be great that I have a this one. But I think there may be a trust issue all the time.
2720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and banking apps targeted by new Android malware on: March 29, 2019, 05:59:22 AM
A new Trojan horse malware is trying to steal fiat and crypto assets, the Next Web writes. The malware called “Gustuff” is designed specifically for Android phones, targeting customers of big international banks and cryptocurrency exchanges.

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/tiny/cryptocurrency-and-banking-apps-targeted-by-new-android-malware/

Cryptoocurrency apps have been targets, including Coinbase, BitPay, and Bitcoin Wallet. The malware also targets JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America clients, as well as payment systems and messenger services.

Group-IB discovered Gustuff spreads via SMS messages. It provides links to “malicious Android package kit files,” using contact lists to spread from user to user. Group-IB advises users only download apps from Google Play.

I'm an Android user, and unfortunately the disadvantages of using Android's open source software store carry a lot of risk for us. I'm especially careful not to put too much sensitive content on my phone, but this protection can be effective.

I am about to buy new hardware wallet because of this problem.
