letting? Price drop is natural, it happens on the best of coins and the worst of coins. It's when the market goes stale, things go bad. letting ∁∁ settle on a floor within the high vPoS is not a bad thing. For some it's sell, for some it's accumulate, and for others it's just stake and do not bother with market. For the dev to try and influence the market at this point is not a good thing. Nobody forced you to mine or stake or buy or sell, you make your own choices, in 10 days it might be 1 SAT or 500 SATS the big players will decide. The devs did not mine millions of ∁∁, we only mined what the average miner did, so we are watching the same like you are. We can influence price as much as the other person can, no more no less.
I like that. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

my concern I expressed on other threads is that pow/alts as far as miners are concerned there are NONE anymore in the works the KNC Titan (in which I have 2) is the last of the big units ..the rest were canceled and no new units data hall ..home miner or in between pow/alt coin machines I know of are in the works
so that confuses the heck out of me....
I know what you are talking about. I didn't wait for KNC and others like MAT (which bankrupted) and I bought 7 x 60MH A2 Terminator's back in May 2014. They were pretty expensive (like 6,600 euro/miner), but ROI was different. I didn't know what to expect with KNC (delays and such). Otherwise I know about canceled productions not only by KNC, but by several other chinese manufacturers as well. Personally I am looking to buy about 10 GH scrypt power in the next 2-3 months, but currently there is nothing (as far as I know) interesting on the market.

Actually the table is for vPoS and shows the interest % you get for vPoS stage 1 and later stage 2
True, but stage 2 is far away though... ~1 year imo. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Nearly everybody agrees that a Bitcoin-style PoW is I) a huge waste of ressources & esp. energy and leads II) to dangerous centralization of mining. But, if I scan the forum, I fell like still most pundits prefer PoW. Why almost all renowned Crypto Currency and Crypto Finance experts [incl. most widly-respected BCT-posters] prefer PoW as consensus algorithm? Sub-questions: Why not use PoS or PoI? Are there othere preferable consensus algorithms? What about PoB? ( https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_burn) Can PoW be improved? I am happy with detailed answers, answers in bullet points or just links or references elsewhere. Thank you! PoW/PoS is the best combination imo. My opinion about PoS is that it was created mainly, because such coin can be P&D with less efforts. It's like: "Keep your coins in the wallet while we are making money out of it.". It is also affecting the price and I think that short PoW phase is not the best choice, because people nowadays are impatient and they will follow dumps if the price significantly decline. PoW is huge waste of resources indeed, but it also contributes to the price as well, because people are thinking about what were their expenses for mining X amount of coins before selling them. I believe that in 1-2 years situation with coins like LTC and some of the others scrypt (+PoS) will be changed, because a lot more ASICs will be involved in the mining process though this are just my toughts.

The developer behind Noble, Rofo, has a solid reputation, Noble has been running for a long time (18 months or more, AFAIK) and I've never heard of any scam accusations towards it. I do like it as a project, on the whole, but it does need to get some more traction. Still, I'm happy to wait and see how it turns out, thinking longterm. https://www.noblemovement.com/ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402667.0I do like Noble too, but "billion coins" are slowly fading away imho. I was following NoXT project as well, but you can see that interes is too small as well.

Staking. Expected time to receive reward is 387days. That was yesterday. today its 420days. How does this staking work?
No, you should receive reward every day until high vPoS is kicking (~15 days). After that in your wannet you can see table for the interest when high vPoS finishes.

At those prices currently VIA is in top 3 for sure.

So holding them is what I will do . I only have like 35k , not much worth staking for me . but I'll hold and hopefully price goes back up . My stakes have only been like small .
Uh... that's like 0.035 BTC worth of coins at current price. Better wait to see what will happen than selling them that low. About a year ago I've lost over $130,000 potential profit on BC in just 2-3 weeks by selling too early with some probably $350-400 profit. I was fine with that, because I made them for 2 days, but ask me now... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) My CC holdings are now about 0.6 BTC. What if the price reach 20 satoshi? I will lose like $120... Nah, I'll wait and stake. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Ok , so if the support does come in , then the price should go up , correct ? if so I'll just hold mine for now . I dont have many , but I would also like to break even or make a little on what I put into mining .
I just bought 217k @ 97 satoshi. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Currently price is about -50% so I don't think it is a good time for selling, but that's just my opinion. Also it seems that high vPoS is kicking as I staked 335 coins with 360k in the wallet.
And yea they could take that risk in buying more . but why? I mean unless they are going to push the price back up after buying more so that they make a bigger profit . It should be at 500 and holding at least , as fast as it hit yobit , ccex and trex .
Because the coin is new and this 500 GH hashrate is pretty unusual. You should also loon on other exchanges. For example, I sold @ 134 on EmpoEx and bought about 90k more coins for the same amount BTC, because currently I decided to accumulate the coin. Of course there is high possibility for loss, but that's how the game is played. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
Remember that hashrate was ~500GH during the mining period and some of the biggest miners could also decided to buy 2-3 BTC worth more coins. Having about 10% of entire currency for like $2,000 is not that big risk.
It's too early to say, but I think that a lot of people got out in 150-190 satoshi range (it is dumped even more as we speak). ~500GH hashrate during mining was unusual so I will not be surprised if the price goes to ~250-300 satoshi.
EDIT: That goes for Cyber.
If you start with good amount you can easily make $100-300/day from daytrading and there is no need to work for someone else.
the last blocks were only 2000 coins per block.
most of the ppl stopped dumping
I know, but this could easily hit 500+ satoshi. Sad thing is that most of the people are impatient and they prefer to take $5 profit now rather than waiting for let's say $10. I currently have 319k coins and I can take like $120 for them and my profit would be about $80-90. Not bad for 2 days, but what will happen if the price drop to 70-75 satoshi? My profit then will be $40-50. Better lose that profit and wait for something bigger than that.
Yes, people with small amounts of coins should sell before people with the biggest holdings. Nice profit from mining.
I can pay my expenses for electricity of my miners if I sell at 50 satoshi. It's not very wise to sell that early and I believe that dumping will probably finish soon.

I can see some buy/sell order on comkort, I think they should cancel all those orders and warn the users to move it
We are tweeting and posting on Facebook every day. We asked Comkort to disable trading and we warned the only working pool. We can't do more than that as we provided 2 weeks time for everybody.
