2728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: paying no transaction fee on: July 01, 2015, 11:52:35 PM
Just trying to understand this. I thought that if the amount was larger, sending without a fee was just as fast? For example, if sending 5 or 10 bitcoins or more, then it would go fast without a fee?

In this case, it should be comparable. Even 0.01 BTC with no fee should be pretty quick. It's based on coin age/weight (the more you're sending and the older the inputs are, the faster it will be sent as it increases its weight).

Does it mean that exchanges has the faster rate of confirming the tx. ?
2729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: July 01, 2015, 11:46:44 PM
Yes, of course it's a good way to make money by hodling bitcoin for a long time, at least it seems so for now.., but I mean for the long term.., because for the short term there are other way which requires more knowledge and skill like trading, altcoin trading, various investment options and stuff Wink

And then if Bitcoin dies, you'll turn around and say "wow, I shouldn't have held long-term!"

Quit acting like this is a perfect scenario, when it's not. Holding Bitcoin is still VERY MUCH a high-risk situation.

Just check this year and last year price of the bitcoin? not a stable price. Wonder what will happened in near future? it's high high risk

2736  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: July 01, 2015, 11:20:52 PM
People that use cold wallet and forgot the key.. these bitcoins are lost forever isnt it?

not rally, there is always a chance of a collision, especially in the future with quantum computer, so you can't really say that they are 100% lost, it isn't impossible to retrieve them in some way in the future

Quantum computers can break also security all over the world so these is always a chance not 100%
2737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you tell kids about bitcoin? on: July 01, 2015, 11:12:53 PM

2739  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any genuine cloud mining company on: July 01, 2015, 11:05:24 PM
Thanks for the tip guys, just bought me some CLAM's, and maybe i'll buy some CAPS next week... I'm really new to staking, but it seems at least a bit profitable if you stake the right coins...

At the moment i'm staking XMG and CLAM's (at least, i bought some, the wallet is syncing ATM)

NET is a good one... constant 6 hour stakes with built in wallet calculator so you can see stake approximation. You get 4 per day... no randomness and block size changing to compete... just good old fashion interest.

4 coins per day? at 300 satoshi per coin this is a insigniicant 1200 satoshi, you can do better with two hour of faucets...

there is no real good coin for minting, all their interest are very low, and their price against bitcoin is even lower

It's depends on the coin itself, so choose altcoin carefully when first time you want to stake, and the reward is depends on how much the investment.

Once upon a time it was a company (cointellect) paying good until one time stopped and scammed.
