It was a shocking result for a fight which meant alot to Holm as she is probably close to retiring and this might have her fight for one or two more.
Even after nearly a week later and it is still sinking in for some how could she lose in such a lousy decision from the judges like that.

Surprisingly there isn't any UFC this weekend as they next one is in the first week of June and the next one is UFC 275 which isn't until closer to the middle of the next month.

As said, USDT bets are all same as BTC just,,, different wallet. When you gamble with it at Casino on USDT though it still shows MBTC chips/balance weird? Smiley
I also have the same experience but only when i'm playing at the live casinos, they remain mBTC regardless of the wallet i'm using.

With that said, it's probably based on the preference of the providers or maybe it depends on the default settings of the casino since some of them use fiat values even when i'm using my bitcoin as the current wallet.
This is how they prefer to show your current balance: in btc instead of the currency you are actually using.
Other casinos do this as well but show in USD or your local currency too when playing casino.
I would like to know the which exchange they get these currency rates from.
It would be interesting to know if all casino use the same way of converting these balances to btc.

and don't forget to put in your picks for before qualifying to grab those extra points for the leaderboard.

There is a really high level of competition in the pool right now. I'm expecting more people to participate in the pool next year. Whenever we mention the Monaco GP, the legend driver Michael Schumacher's pole position in 2012 comes to my mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhemGJgwdpM&ab_channel=FORMULA1   As it is hard to overtake drivers on the track of this race, the qualifying session is more important. I see Leclerc as advantageous in his country because of this.
Yes I would expect more people to join up for the next one. This one was on very short notice (for the forums anyways since some people log in from a span of once per week at times), but I would assume it will grander for next season since this is the premiere of the F1 pool.
Good video of Old Schumacher in that youtube clip.

I was actually watching some historic moments of the Monaco grand prix from years past and this one highlights the best races from the mother of F1 racing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ14oZzYLI0

I liked the last one by Alain Prost since him and Schumacher had a rivalry like Max and Lewis did for the last few season until this one.

Woah Monaco this weekend.
Was not expecting it.

Prediction? easy pole for LeClerc.
I think everyone and their mothers are on Leclerc for this weekend to win it.
Let's hope he can do it and not post another DNF cause that would be tragic.

^^
Yes, strange isn't it? Back when btc was up $50k or something. Where has the time gone.... and the price. I am kidding of course.
But with freebets you have accumulated thus far, they have an expiration date when you receive them of a couple of days.
Are the ones given in USDT different?
The ones I have received in the past from promotions are used right away so never really noticed.

Thank you Trofo, I like the way you manage the pool.
Since I am playing these pools for many seasons now I believe I know what participants want from the pool and I try to manage it in such way. Maximum transparency with cleary stated rewards, fees and rules plus fast payouts when it ends. At to that great value proposition and I think everyone is happy. Of course it is not all up to me, our sponsors Sportsbet and buwaytress are responsible for value and I am doing my best on other fronts.

Still waiting for rdbase to send his address, just sent him PM I guess he doesn't know he won something  Grin

Didn't believe I won anything, as I mentioned to your welcoming message to check-in cause I actually did.
I had a horrible run in this and the other pool. But then again, it is my first time in them. I had been in the EPL one the year prior so have more faith in getting somewhere in there.
But they are two nice little ones with less than 20 so I think I will stick with them for the upcoming season after the summer months are done.

Here is my Sportsbet.io bitcoin address: 1KJrwvqnw92RCNNRyuA3oHJtZaZNCBshf2

This will go towards payment's of next season for all pools.

Yes @slaman29, I tend to go for the "against the grain" selections so it isn't such a tight one if they come down to the wire.
Gotta change up my strategy for next season I think.
2727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Western Conference Finals (Warriors vs Mavericks) on: May 24, 2022, 09:54:48 PM
Luka now experiencing what Lebron has experienced when they were dominated by the Warriors. They'll be lucky if they will win one game, and game 4 is their only chance of winning, so they should not waste that opportunity as they are at home, at least give their fans one game to enjoy.

In my own opinion, Luka is slow,he's good but he's not unstoppable.

He's not actually slow, it's his style of play that looks like he slow coz he's using his size and strength as he is a bit oversized for a point guard position.
Anyways, it's not Luka who's the problem why Warriors are beating them. It's the whole Mavs team without no experience in the big stage against a veteran team who's been living in the Finals since  2015.
I am thinking the exact same thing. Mavericks don't have the experience to make any sort of comeback by a seasoned team like the Warriors.
They will get swept in this series and Golden state will want to end it early so to have a rest when they met the next team to move on to the finals.
I am going to guess and put Golden State to win by a wide margin as Luka couldn't start anything last match and is distraught he doesn't have any players who can match his skill so to back him up in this playoff run, which fell flat way to quickly.

It was an eventful Pizza day on the site and I am sure they did give out the 100mbtc drops.
It was just that nobody in the chat received them or they would of certainly posted about it.

From my memory I know you, Trofo and buwaytress are the forum members that have got the drops before,,, I know there are more and those early drops even people got 100 mbtc drops so it is always good to check in on those days. They seem to do 1 every Black Friday if I recall correctly,,, so that is like 2 drops a year.

Waiting for my turn to get up and not sleep for a chance  Grin
I got one drop but it wasn't 100 mBTC, I think it was 20 mBTC not so sure anymore. But it was when BTC was I think around 50k so good money however you look at it.

In this last promo I snatched a couple of free bets but nothing big. 2x 0.25 and 1x 0.5, think I lost all of them, as usual Smiley
Also was in on a few drops but nothing more than 20mbtc as well.
I remember when because of buwaytress saying "Thanks for the 1000 euros Sportsbet.io and all I had to do was listen to a bunch of english guys on the radio!". That is what they have as advertisements on the clubtalk radio inbetween matches and intermissions when the games are on.
Anyone can think how can we do to pass this time without the most popular sports like Football, NBA etc. I see Tennis but not so much to bet on.

E - sports i dont see, only F1 i see a lot but i dont bet in F1 because its so complicated you can lose for a engine fault or for a colision(also win for that).
Yes, there is an Esports discussion thread started awhile ago here:

We talk about all sorts of them but I am more relevant when it comes to CS:GO, while there are quite a few who are into DOTA 2 and League of Legends.
That is where they shine!
See you there.
2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: May 24, 2022, 09:38:34 PM
I loved how Russell and both red bulls (Verstappen/Perez) were dog fighting for the majority of lap 28-40.
Now this is what F1 fans want to see during a race and not just the same leader for 50+ laps just by getting pole position.
Atleast for me during the Sunday races.

That's correct. At least one Ferrari was missing from the setup, but it was a nice fight and a pretty clean one too.
All in all this year looks pretty good til now, as a show: pleasant to watch, the winner is far from clear, the top cars' performance is pretty close and it's no unnecessary drama.

Before the start of the year I hoped that maybe this time we will see other cars too fighting for the top - maybe McLaren, maybe Alpine, I don't know... Haas was a nice surprise, but now they seem to be drifting away.
But we can't have just everything. Maybe next year Cheesy
Not only that but somebody lost big on betting for Ferrari's hopeful to win it all in that race:

F1 is tough to bet on because one thing goes wrong and it is all over for that driver and his team. Certainly wouldn't have put that much on a lone driver better to put on a team being in the top 3 by the end of the race.

Lewis didn't do too bad, so should of put something on him to finish.
2731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: May 23, 2022, 10:14:49 PM
^ Didn't watch the race but was gifted the LeClerc out, and definitely from Twitter it seems Russell's the fan favourite over Hamilton (but really, even I knew that without watching haha).

I did want the lead in first place to be cut, but not like this. Feels a bit flat, though I suppose it adds to the tension in coming races, if Ferrari engineers actually wake up, of course.

Tight, tight, tight, but well done for yellow cap, casper! Leaderboard is sooo close, and this round only 3 points separating yellow cap from bottom.

Russell is a beast and I'm saying it since he was in Williams and he finally has a car.

He will fight with Max and Charles for titles in the following years.
Glad Russell has made his way out of Hamilton's shadow in Toto's eyes for this race.
Mercedes with him at the wheel can still make it competitive.
Hamilton hasn't made much improvements in his driving although he did crack top 10 and I even doubted he would finish so high on the leaderboard at lap 32.
Leclerc had to pull out of the race with a power failure of his engine on lap 27.
While watching it again you can the hear the gears just shift down without him doing anything.
Just like everything powering down, it was weird.

I loved how Russell and both red bulls (Verstappen/Perez) were dog fighting for the majority of lap 28-40.
Now this is what F1 fans want to see during a race and not just the same leader for 50+ laps just by getting pole position.
Atleast for me during the Sunday races.
2732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Celtics) on: May 23, 2022, 10:06:40 PM
Tyler Herro is definitely out of this match up tonight for game 4 in Boston.
https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/celtics/tyler-herro-injury-heres-why-heat-star-wont-play-game-4-vs-celtics

Didn't notice anything last game but these type of injuries come out of no where and can affect the outcome of this match.
He is an important player to the Heat and will miss a dozen or more points from him. He can score a three on fast breaks quite easily.

I will expect Celtics will tie up the series tonight because they are a team without any quit in their play when it comes to the post season.
2733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: May 23, 2022, 06:16:23 PM
Did anyone manage to claim one of the 100mbtc drops or the free spins and free chips earlier today? I manage to tune in earlier just in time for the clubhouse radio while the EPL games are going and caught 2 free bets.  Cheesy

I thought they'd also drop the free chips and spins along the way but I guess they somehow forgot, anyways still happy to catch a couple of free bets in the end.  Grin
The drops for free chips and spins were given out later in the day.
The spins were for a gems slot game and the free chips were given for the Bombay themed Arsenal roulette table.
The codes were given out to an active chat user by the name of Viperious who posted it on there several times for those who asked about it.
They were limited to the first 200 who claimed the codes then after that they were done.

It was an eventful Pizza day on the site and I am sure they did give out the 100mbtc drops.
It was just that nobody in the chat received them or they would of certainly posted about it.

Seems that Son Heung-Min and Mo Sallah both won the golden boot for this EPL 2021/2022 season:
https://www.si.com/fannation/soccer/futbol/news/son-heung-min-shares-premier-league-golden-boot-with-mo-salah

Next was Ronaldo with 18 goals and then Harry Kane with 17.

Tottenham got fourth place ahead of Arsenal so qualify for Champions league.
2735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 22, 2022, 11:53:53 PM
Barcelona are behind in the second half but they played good in the first half they had control over the ball and they had some chances i don't know why but this game does not seem to be over i think barcelona may surprise us since villareal does not seem to handle laliga games well we might see a comeback.

Barcelona dominated massively in this match. But unfortunately they failed to record a goal. While, Villarreal won the game with 2 goals. Perhaps, Barcelona didn't take the match very serious. Since, they were already at a decent position on the standings. And they fully knew losing the game won't in any way affect their place. Although, Villarreal performance was impressive. They really needed the 3 points badly to secure their space in the Europa Conference League next season, and they probably ended up at the 7th position.
The problem was Adama, he gave up the ball right infront of his own net passing it cross goal to a Villarreal player.
I think the announcer mentioned he was also on the first goal. Fortunately I was not watching it during the first half.
He is on loan from Wolverhampton and they did mention he certainly will not be with the Barcelona next season and be sent back to the Wolves.
Traore and Aubameyang both got subbed out at the same time, so this tells you the coach is not pleased by either of their performances this day.
It is going to be a long summer for Barca's management to decide where this team will be looking for inspiration moving forward.
2736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day 2022 on: May 22, 2022, 11:40:39 PM
Happy bitcoin 12th pizza day everyone. Today I also ate a pizza like Laszlo Hanyecz ate on this day in 2010 But I paid in fiat currency czz  Roll Eyes Who knows if BTC of four dollars becomes 30 thousand dollars again. Grin
These are the two pizza"s which cost 10000 BTC, and that current market value of about 298987000$  Cry

Those pizza boxes do look familiar so you did buy from the same place (not exact place of course) as Laszlo did.
You would think 12 years later we would be able to have the option to pay directly for the pie with bitcoin by now.
Oh well.
We atleast can purchase giftcards (as many have mentioned from bitrefill) or load the bitcoin on to a crypto debit card to be able to buy the slices instead.
Still not the same but it is only the beginning.. a decade later.
More innovated ways might be needed for a more mainstream solution.

Congratulations to everyone who made it to the top 10 and deserved to get a prize for it. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed for getting stuck at the 31st position this year. But I have left a profitable season behind for me by one yellow cap and the prizes that I won in the contests that were organized specific to this pool. Don't underestimate me for next year. I will definitely find a place for myself in top 10.  Cool
Well done CLS63!
Being in 30~ish place is a very good run if this was your first year in the pool.
I am alright with 34th as it is just my second year. As I think most of those who placed top 10 have been taking part in it since it's inception.
You know how to pick your matches gracefully from what I seen of your betslip you had posted on the S.B ann thread a while ago.
So I wouldn't doubt you will be in the top 10 next season.

Got first spot in the final week 38 in the pool.
So just happy enough to get atleast two yellow caps this season.
2738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 22, 2022, 11:20:07 PM
Heat is on another level and I think this series will end in 5 games and personally , I see Miami taking the next 2 games and moving into finals.

Game from last night was a tough one for both of the teams but I'm glad we didn't see a game with under 90 points as that would be bad for an NBA game but awesome for basketball action as whenever low scores happens you even see 2 great defend teams or a lot of mistakes ...so both can be entertain.

Regarding tonight's game ...I find difficult for Mavs to comeback into this game but there is a slight possibility to win this game.
The game last night was intense as it looked as if it was all Miami in the first quarter. They were up 26 pts at one point from what I remember tuning in and out of it.
Celtics made an epic comeback late but it was not to be with Heat finishing what they started.
Now that was a playoff game and I hope that the ones coming up can match that intensity and not be a boring one sided event.

Tough game to bet.  Think I'm definately taking the over at 217.  Just can't figure on the game.  Getting 3 points I'm tempted to take the dubs again, I thought it would be more of an even spread.  Wierd that Memphis at home with ja were underdogs yet Dallas is getting -3.  Doesnt make sense to me.
Mavericks tonight are playing at home and Golden state are just getting started with their playoff form fully in tow.
Let's hope for a high scoring matchup with Luka vs Curry as I took the over as well.

What has happening to Verstappen's car cause at almost every time I see him losing control at the turns.
He already went off the track once due to wind grabbing his tailend of the car and forcing him off into the gravel.
Same thing happened to Sainz.
Hamilton is not going to make it to top 10 because he had a puncture due to a Haas running into him on lap 1.
2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: May 22, 2022, 01:41:37 PM
For a woman, I have no idea how physical abilities work,,, so I would not be too quick to discount this veteran.

So she was only fighting 7 years and made her debut when she was 33? That is an amazing type of story for any sports people  Shocked
Agree with you. Women have a different physiology when they age compared to men. They definitely are more flexible so a grappler can outlast their opponent in that aspect.
She did beat Ronda Rousey so don't doubt the old lady can come out with a win in this one.

I still decided to go against old lady in this one in predictions in the end,,, but yes, in my limited understanding of women's sports it seems they are more flexible and more able to take pain in later ages. You can see this in Olympics gymnastics, women stay in the sport for decades as they are still so agile probably more vulnerable to direct hits however!
Good decision because Vieira won against Holm and it was a shock to her if you see her body language at the end of the fight.
Holm had around 9 minutes of total control time throughout the fight but still lost.
I believe she even had a knockdown in the middle rounds but Vieira had some solid kicks in most of the rounds.
Congratulations if you got the contender @2.95x prematch odds.
