2722  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Any way how to legally transfer your crypto wealth to the tax-free countries? on: June 19, 2020, 01:07:14 PM

Such bullshit

What the VAT has to do with what @OP is talking about? He didn't mention it. We do not care about your VAT.

"If I was in your place"... But you're not.
"That's a small amount." How fo you even know if @OP is paying a small amount. Small amount+small amount+... = Big money!
Taxed by 20% and you call this a small amount? Are you here just to troll or what? I truly believe you never paid any income tax in your life.

Goin to jail for not paying taxes?  Hold on... you said it's just a small amount... do you think people go to jail for small amounts?

Quote
So, our government can't force anyone not to have to pay the value-added tax (VAT).

Clearly no idea what the dude was talking about
2723  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Best way to crowdfund a life using crypto? on: June 18, 2020, 05:21:51 PM
You can do the same without it, including financial obligations. Does it really need to mint a token? I don't think so. A token is not the main motivation, nor an interest while participating in a crowdfunding campaign.

How a token could help or attract more people to participate? Just to get a souvenir to remember they participated in? lol
2724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For Old and New forum members on: June 18, 2020, 04:46:27 PM
To All Old Members on BTT

Members please always try as much as possible to help for fellow newbies, correct them so they won't get ban, give them hopes so they can have some courage left in them, I was once a shit poster until few high ranking members makes me change my ways, don't ignore newbies

No, I report right away. A forum is a discussion board to talk to each other, to meet people and debate. When you see a newbie joining only for the sake of spamming to rank up, participate in bounties, and distribute blowjobs all over the forum with useless topics I'm not very inclined to do anything

They all waste my time reading thousands of shit comments, destroy interesting discussions and so on.
So I snitch  Cool

and I don't report immediately, I wait a few days to waste their time Grin
2725  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: June 18, 2020, 03:34:25 PM
I tried to inform chip mixer about this stuff around a year ago or so ...

Notification - Kindly fix up your Lets Encrypt SSL Certificate ... it is currently capped to a grade B ...

Sorry if I didn't get correctly but the change from SSL Lab was 6 months ago about. And you say to have informed a year ago.
Do you live in the future like Marty McFly? Cheesy

The grade change was only done to motivate people to migrate to protocol TLS 1.2+. My question is how is that important if you still support TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols? While the server supports TLS 1.2 as well
2726  Economy / Services / Re: Anonymous crypto-loadable debit card - No KYC - Private Card Services on: June 17, 2020, 07:30:13 PM
I received the card, it took some time because the post office doesn't work properly in my country due to COVID19.
I will post an image tomorrow with a few details
(still can't host an image due to my very high-speed internet connection: download 1.19 Mbps- Upload 0.09Mbps, yes you can laugh)

The card comes with a document and a SIM card. Once received I got every instruction needed to use it. I will share my experience with it from time to time. I plan to use it with ATMs, POS, and online

2729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Domains of defunct crypto services (eg. Inputs.io) are still being renewed. Why? on: June 17, 2020, 02:48:10 PM
There can be different reasons.

- Search engine optimization: old domains have usually a domain links profile and you can redirect the juice to your main domain. They still have value for that reason.
Usually, if you check the domain name in some months, it will redirect to another domain name or you will see a blog with a dozen articles posted. Some of them will have a backlink to the main domain targeted.

- To sell the domain later, something usual in the domain selling business.

- For collecting information from the old business. Once you buy an old domain and set up an email server you can still receive emails from the old business. Imagine if it's a domain owned by a lawyer, all the confidential information you can receive... You can also get social media accounts, etc. So many things you can think about
2730  Economy / Economics / Re: Growing number of institutionnal investors on: June 17, 2020, 08:47:38 AM
From being interested than investing really it is a long way to go.
Institutional investors are growing but they are not really investing and if the time comes for that they do not invest a lot of money, they are afraid to take the high risk especially for the cryptocurrency assets.

I wouldn't say there is "a long way". Look, the survey says 27% of the US investors invested in cryptos, while it was 22% last year. It's a 5% increase in just 1 year (Keep in mind the survey was realized before the COVID-19 crisis).

How they aren't investing in? The survey says otherwise, more than a third have already done so, and almost half among Europeans. While they ignored the market less than 3 years ago. Roll Eyes

Not a lot of money? They expect to have at least 0.5% of their portfolio allocated in, while it may not seem like much to us, we're talking about hundreds of billion dollars. Usually, we dedicate a low percentage to the risky investments (due to diversity and risk balancing).
We often hear we shouldn't allocate more than 5% to risky investments (or something like that), 1% here, 1% there, etc...

If we consider Blackrock for example, they manage like 7,000 billion USD, if they invest just 1% it's 700 billion injected in the market.

2733  Local / Hors-sujet / Re: Coronavirus on: June 16, 2020, 05:59:40 PM
Va-t-on faire la même erreur ?

Covid is back (et il n'a pas l'air content)

Malheureusement oui.

2735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: June 16, 2020, 04:07:16 PM
...

Sorry to break your belief but LocalBitcoin is not decentralized. You confuse because it's a P2P marketplace. Now ask yourself the following questions? Who owns the servers, who take decisions? who can freeze your account and confiscate your bitcoins? who can vote? To all those questions you can reply, "at least not me/us"
How can it be decentralization when only one side has the power

Now in terms of security, since you think CEXs are safer than DEXs: How many CEXs got hacked and how many DEXs got?
CEXs are more vulnerable to hacking, especially since the majority lacks of fundamental securities

...

Nobody asked the definition of a decentralized exchange here.

...

Yes sure, when people will realize what it's like to let governments regulate this industry, accept KYC, pay taxes, and be restricted from using it...
They will look for an alternative by using a decentralized exchange while staying under the radars

2737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which VPS recommended for Bot Trading? on: June 16, 2020, 09:46:14 AM
Not all VPS share the resources. What you need to look for is VPS using KVM, unlike OpenVZ, the resources are dedicated. KVM and OpenVZ are the most popular hypervisors I think. (Google VPS with KVM perhaps, OVH comes in my mind) It's also usually mentioned on the website

I don't know much about Windows server but a full server with CP and SQL need at least 3GB I suppose, so you will surely need less (just for the OS I mean, then you need to consider your bot)

Okay KVM VPS are the best ones, better than OpenVZ?

Which is the cheapest KVM or any good deals at the moment for KVM that is backed by good customer reviews?

Is Gunbot hardware demanding?

Yes, better than OpenVZ since the resources are dedicated, but OpenVZ can be enough (not everyone abuses their VPS).
Difficult to say which is the cheapest, there are so many around, but for example, you can get a VPS for ~$5/month with OVH. You can also get a cheap VPS searching on LowEndBox (see KVM here)

I checked Gunbot's wiki and it says the recommended specs are 2GB with 10 GB free disk space here

2740  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: NSFW - [Idea] TikTok for Adults monetized with Crypto currencies. on: June 15, 2020, 06:45:43 PM
It might work like this, the user show a preview of what they are willing to show in the first 60 seconds and then if people want to see more, they have to pay say $2 in Crypto to see the rest of the video. Then $1 goes towards the hosting site ...let's call it, TickPay and $1 goes towards the user for the content they offered.

It exists already, it's called LiveJasmin

If you're just gonna take advantage of this trend, what are you gonna do once it's dead? What you're thinking about is nothing more than a social network for adults (NSFW) and there are several already in place and they're free on the top of that. Tumblr in the past, Mastodon which is decentralized, Sharesome, etc.

People won't pay any cent while they can get 500% more for free on Youporn. Unless you have a huge capital to market your product it won't work. And it won't help to promote cryptocurrencies per se. People won't waste their time to buy a coin to get a video or alike, they will switch to the next website.
