Until Bayern Munich become more reliable in the league I don't think of placing any bet on them. Who could have thought that they would draw with their opponents three times in a row? Maybe it is related to Lewandowski's departure or to the Champions League. Because since the Champions League started they have been focusing on that tournament more. But they will need to balance things otherwise their championship streak can be broken this year for real. It is difficult to assume what team in the league would manage to do this for now.
Lewandowski departure affected the team for sure but comparing Bayern to Liverpool for example after Mane departure, then we could say that Bayern is somewhat stable. Even in the previous season they have their weak moments but just after they humiliate the first opponent that they found regardless how good it is. Barcelona game will be difficult, not sure if Bayern will be able to trash them again but winning in that game is not impossible. Now, vs Augsburg, it will be shamefull if they lose. |

FC Empoli is a very good team, but they seem to be collecting draws, there are already 4 consecutive draws and on the other side we have Roma who have had good defense, but in the last 2 games they have failed in defense and have some problems in attack, but still roma is better than FC Empoli, of course in this game even empoli can win, but I preferred to take the risk of betting on roma
Roma is leading with 2 goals to 1 vs Empoli with only few minutes left in the game and a red card for Empoli. Roma will eventually win but the risk of a late goal is always present in Serie A games. Juve was able to save 1 point late without counting the offside and the red cards at the end of the game.. |

The season is competitive for now only. Marseille have been really impressive so far. However they are still not very reliable because we watched them being out of the title competition so many times before. It is normal of course as they can't play at the same level with PSG every week. I'm glad with the nice rivalry between them for now. But it is up to Marseille to stay right behind them. PSG wouldn't lose points easily against much weaker teams. But a tight schedule might change something. It is a difficult task for Marseille but they will need to make an extra effort to benefit from those opportunities.
Well I expected to see PSG having 10 goals difference by the end of the 10th round but it appears that the other teams are still resisting! Marseille have the same number of points, Lens is following them closely with online leay 2 points difference. Monaco dropped earlier in the race but they seems to be recovering. They are leading with 2 goals to 0 vs Lyon before 20 minutes of the game. Overall, Marseille is the only one imo that will keep annoying PSG, assuming they will not lose much points. Not sure if Lens can keep up with this form until the end. |

About Potter to Chelsea, I think he's lucky to be able to coach Chelsea. I don't see any championship achievements he's ever gotten. But the statistics of him beating the EPL's top Clubs may attract chelsea's new owners to have him.
Let's see I'm actually quite curious because I think they're going to buy another coach who has had more experience. Today potters came up with the rest of Tuchel's preferred players. He has not been able to find many players because the transfer market has ended.
This is a limitant factor itself. The inability to recruit some players to boost the team and make your tactics more useful.. If we start with bringing a successful coach to another club, this will not guarantee success especially in the first matches.. The players have to adapt to his tactics. I am wondering if Chelsea will be able to be as competitive as it used to be.. The team was destabilised in a serious way from the management switch to the inability to recruit players as they want, passing by top players departure.. |

If this situation lasted the entire championship as in Serie A, then it would really be some kind of special charm. Unexpectedly, Getafe who were not seeded in this match were able to break into Real Sociedad's goal with 2 goals created by Enes Unal and Carles Alena. Real Sociedad can only reduce the position to 2-1 through goals from Brais Mendez. The game still has 30 minutes to go, Real Sociedad will have to try to find an extra goal in the remaining game time so as not to drop points from a team that should be able to beat easily. I have much believe in psg that they will surely come out with that three point, beating brest with only one goal is nothing bad there, l love the way the squad are playing they are always given me joy anytime seeing them playing on the pitch, can't see squad winning their next champion league match again.
Psg have won six matches out of seven played same thing applicable to Marseille, Marseille have been in a good form over 7 matches played, can't wait to see them play each other to know who team is in real good form.
Both PSG and Marseille are performing good so far in Ligue 1. The only difference right now is the defeat of Marseille with 2 goals vs Spurs while PSG won vs Juventus. Brest isn't a good team, finishing generally +10 in the ranking while Lille is better so winning vs them is more interesting than beating Brest. Otherwise, the match between PSG and Marseille is scheduled in October 16, by that time we might see some points difference between them. |

Napoli, Milan but also Inter won their games today and all three by only 1 goal difference. As you said Cremonese is a weak team and I doubt Atalanta won't win against them. The first place will be claimed back tomorrow by Atalanta tho. Juve and Roma should win their games too, without underestimating their opponents. That's right especially because the premier league don't have any break during the season so for players this is a Golden chance to take some breath but for fans it's surly a bad think cause the premier league is the only exciting competition currently in my opinion
Everything is calculated and resting now, early in the season, isn't a good thing for many clubs since the missed game will be placed somewhere in the schedule while some teams might need a spare of time to rest its players. Of course, I am not supporting the idea of resuming the games early.. |

And what can you say about Inter and Juventus, which are now lower in the standings than Roma, Udinese and Torino? I think the fans (and management) of these teams also expected a better start. No one will doubt the quality of Mourinho as a coach and his achievements tho  The only problem with him is his old school tactics that are known by most teams and easy to counter them. I am not an expert obviously but that's what I am aware of from analysts. His previous experience with Spurs was quite unpleasant for example although he had good players. So if he succeed with Roma and fail with Spurs then it is not totally his fault tho. Good compared to who? And do you remember in what condition he took the Spurs then? He took the team from 14th to 6th. Is this a bad result? And he took Tottenham to the FA Cup final they most likely would have won (City were beaten in both league matches by Spurs). Everyone is used to that Mourinho gives the top result (at the level of a miracle), but he cannot give it with an average team (at least not always). It is hard to compare coaches because everyone has his own tactics but if we look what's the objective of each team, we could say this one is good and this one isn't. Tuchel for example is a good one but with the current Chelsea squad don't expect much from the team. Roma objective in the other hand is to return to the first places and why not another european league. Avoiding successive and shamefull defeats is another important point. The problem with Mourinho with Spurs is the bad results he had. Many points were lost vs weak teams, the team was very unstable.. Even if the overall results were positive, at some point you feel this isn't enough. I will take the example of Klopp and the current Liverpool bad results. No one could say anything about him because he is good but the situation in the club isn't good at all! |

The premier league matches this weekend have already been postponed as a sign of mourning the death of the queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II. The decision to postpone the events was passed by the English government in a 12 day mourning week. I can't believe there won't be league games this weekend, this will be a boring weekend for me, I can feel it already.
Yeah I read that news and I think it is an expected one. The whole nation is mourning the Queen and you find others two days later having fun at stadium isn't an appropriated thing. We will miss good games indeed especially City - Spurs match unfortunately. |

Werder breman today is a huge favourite to win against augsburg which is understandable they have a really good result in this beginning of season on the contrary their opponent is in really bad shape with three consecutive losses, it will be miracle for them to get points today against such a good team.
I said the same thing before finding out that Augsburg got 3 points from Bremen after defeating them with 1 goal. Bremen missed a penalty on extra time.. 1 point would be better than nothing. Tomorrow there will be interesting games too. Leipzig defeat vs Dortmund tho and Leverkusen - Hertha match which is unpredictable. |

Inter and Bayern will be a big test on Xavi's improvement on the Barcelona team for the CL challenge. I think Inter might be much more easier for Barcelona than Bayern judging from how Inter lost to Bayern. In the group stage the started with the least club on the group and Lewandoski took good advantage of it to secure his first hat trick.
Comparing to the previous seasons, Inter performance went slightly down, Barcelona improved a lot and Bayern remained somehow steady. Thus Barcelona and Bayern seems to have the advantage to take the two first spots. Nevertheless if Inter managed to win vs them or get a draw then it might be a bit complicated. The game between Bayern and Barcelona in Allianz Arena next week will be interesting. I am particularly curious if Oliver Kahn will keep that smile or not |

I think we can write Liverpool off already. They have a terribly bad start to the season in the Premier League, if you win almost all the rest you will still become champions, but the problem is that the play shown is also very mediocre. And the game against Newcastle United was almost lost, which they won. I can't remember seeing Liverpool play so badly in recent years. 6 games played and 15 points. That's actually lost 9 points. Leverkusen's performances have been poor this season. They have managed to win only 1 out of 5 matches. Leverkusen's players could not score even though the opponent was weak. In 5 matches they scored 6 goals and conceded 9 goals. Leverkusen will definitely lose points against Hertha Berlin for such a performance. This is Hertha's home match, and Hertha's defense is stronger than Leverkusen's. I couldn't understand how Leverkusen lost vs Brugge in Champions League! They were close to avoid a defeat there, yet they finished the game with an unpleasant defeat.. Now I am not sure about how this game will end between them and Hertha. Such instability is worrying.. |
