@Shaker_finance
Since you're already responding to "some" of the issues/problems, it'd be nice to see an in-depth explanation as to why do you think signing a message isn't really that safe?
Are they thinking the private key will be exposed?
If so they can move some funds from address a to address b. However signing a message is completely safe.

@Shaker_finance, I would also like to know your reasoning of not saying safe.

I don't want further explanations to prevent other conflict.
These people have long history of being trustworthy. They will understand your reasons when you explain them nicely.

However it looks, this is a new symbol for me. What do we call it?

This bug happens in the SMF forum only I think, where only certain browsers on laptops, chrome, brave, and edge.
What else platform you have checked. I wold not call it a bug. It's more like an emoji to me.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Twice in your two responses in this thread. I have not given you merit because I am out atm.
I had your back but with only two. Don't ask me the reason 🤣

Green trusted user vouching for shady site
The answer is very simple. If someone is sure about the site is 100% shady then they should not vouch for it. I don't think Green trusted or no trusted user matters at all.

Shaker_finance, you need a professional who can handle your PR. The temperament you are showing is not good for your business or safe to say for any business. Assuming you are not shady but your attitude is not helping.
2724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AML - Anti Money Laundering on: July 17, 2022, 05:47:02 PM
Like you, I use relationships from a circle of close friends (fecebook) who are constantly trading in the crypto space.
It's one of the advantage when you are in the space for long time. But I think not many have the same network and for them P2P platforms are only hope. Problem with P2P platforms are they cost a lot of fees when you are going to with any non-KYC site. Localbitcoins used to be good and then they were into the same route of asking KYC from the users.

We can enjoy the true decentralized financial system when crypto will be accepted by a large portion of the total population.

280 words and one emoji for the response you left for me.

"deliberately" X 3
"diversion" X 1
"ramble"/"rambling" (words) X 2
"nonsense" X 2
"misdirection" X 2
"panic-posting" X 1
Questioning my "temperament"
Accusing me for my "own purposes"

Bitch your brain is not in the right position. You are attacking and ignoring arguments of users who do not feed your wall of nonsense texts.
You are the one who is overlooking. Your motive is questionable.

This is irony, I will still trust Royse777 for a large trade but with you I will have huge hesitation if this is over $500.

Edit:
I was almost posting this and saw your reply. It's clear from your comments that you did not read the entire story but creating wall of text asking sources from others.
2726  Other / Meta / Re: Notifications For Replies in Forum Posts! on: July 17, 2022, 11:16:33 AM
I don't trust 3rd party options. As long as it's not in the forum, I won't use it. Got hacked few days earlier. So no to 3rd party
You have a way to know who replied you on your posts/replies.
Use the search option.
Go with Forum search
Enter your username
You can specify it by specific user
Pick a rang of age for the messages/replies you want to search
Order it however you like
The search result will bring you all mentioned posts by other or even by yourself.

The forum really don't have a smart notification system like you mention someone using @username and receive an email or have a notification log to alert you. This is a software which is over 10 years old 😉
2727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wallet has Been Hacked. i need your help guyz. on: July 17, 2022, 10:57:31 AM
yeah i need to transfer those tokens. but when i transfer some bnb for transaction fee, those are send away to another address as soon as they arrived. what shoul i do??
I understand your actual problem now. It seems the tokens stuck unless you are able to send the fees that you need to transfer them. I know scripts can be injected but I have not idea how to remove the injected script.

Unless if you are faster than the bot make a transaction right away after you sent bnb to that wallet.

Or better wait for a few weeks and maybe the bot will stop sending them automatically.

Have you exposed your private key to someone or other websites?
Obviously his private key was compromised by any how. I was thinking to suggest him to post on Bitcoin Technical Support. There should be a way instead of waiting for the bot to stop working.

Cryptornd, you will have more technically sounds users when you take this discussion to Bitcoin Technical Support board.
2728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My old officemate become millionaire on investing on Bitcoin on: July 16, 2022, 09:50:55 PM
It was always the same dismissive attitude like I was trying to push them into a scam.
My boss who got excited about this one coin back in the day. He was convinced that it was a better form of cryptocurrency. He never listened to me even I told him hundreds of times that it's all fake. Their own buy sell platform, use the coins to trade physical products and many promises were making him to believe that this was the real deal. He put £30,000 to become a millionaire. The coins will be doubled, tripled. Price will be 100x, 1000x. It was a ponzi scheme. Right hand and left hand scheme. Eventually he lost all the money. We still talk few times a year and he regrets for not listening me.

He is so unfortunate that he still hasn't bought a single sat yet. The guy was never been able to recover his financial loss.

It was a common thing back in the days. If you were talking about crypto to 10 people, you would find 9 of them were thinking you were pitching them ponzi scheme.
2729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wallet has Been Hacked. i need your help guyz. on: July 16, 2022, 09:33:46 PM
Also, try to find out how your wallet was hacked.
OP said trust wallet. I thought they had a desktop version but it seems they don't. So it's basically a mobile wallet. For crypto I will never trust a mobile device to have any wallet. Mobile devices are more vulnerable then desktop and laptops.

There are no use to find how it was hacked. If I was in OP's situation I would format the entire device to wipe away everything.
2730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wallet has Been Hacked. i need your help guyz. on: July 16, 2022, 09:19:11 PM
My trust wallet  has been  hacked by someone .some of my funds has been sent to hacker's address . when i send funds to that address again ( wallet is trust wallet ) those funds are automatically send away to another address before it comes to wallet .how could it be possible ? any solutions?
Stop sending coins to that wallet. It's compromised. The hacker injected some script to forward whatever coins you sent to the wallet. So anything you send to the wallet it will be forwarded to the hackers given address.

i have some valuable tokens in that wallet which has no market value yet. i need to send them to another address .so i tried to send some bnb ( bsc ) to that address and send my rest of tokens to another address . ( all of tokens which i think to transfer are Bep20 ) So i sent some bnb for transaction fee. thats when the problem happened . Help me guyz. How to stop automatic sending to another address Huh
Try to move all tokens / coins to a new wallet which is not compromised.
2731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AML - Anti Money Laundering on: July 16, 2022, 09:14:28 PM
As suggested to you by the rest of the members, the best solution is to use the peer-to-peer services provided by many platforms such as Binance. It is also advisable to split
Binance is not a good option. You can not trade P2P unless you KYC verify your account. I was able to have a circle around me who regularly trade crypto. Most of the time they have my back 😉

the main one.. using a mixer.. why.. well mixing IS LAUNDERING!!
must be emphasised. MIXING IS LAUNDERING
Recently we had a case where the exchange flagged the coin because of using mixer. According to them the AML checker  gave them 100% score of money laundering. It's sad, they are policing crypto users and for them using mixer means you are whitelisting your black coins. Privacy does not matter for them.
2732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lost HW-wallet: is importing the 12word enough? on: July 15, 2022, 08:12:52 PM
for the case I would loose my hardware-wallet, is it enough to restore the 12 word seed to an other hardware-wallet,
You security is not the hardware wallet, it's the seed which is your security. When you are restoring the wallet with another device you are still using the same wallet but with a different device. Your lost device still have the same wallet which means the person who has the possessions of the device he can access the wallet if he can figure out the pin.

If you have only BTC then restore the wallet with new hardware device. Move the coins to a temporary wallet, it can be Electrum. Then remove the restored wallet from the hardware device and create a new wallet with new set if seeds. Finally move the coins from temporary wallet to the newly created wallet in your hardware device.
2733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AML - Anti Money Laundering on: July 15, 2022, 07:50:15 PM
Totally agree. I wanted to exchange btc to fiat. So now the exchange point  has their address frozen and demand verification from me. I had transaction sent by third-party and their addresses did not pass AML check. So now no fiat no btc.
Sad but it is what it is when you go with centralized exchanges. It's the risk you take. It is advisable to trade P2P. If you are with bitcoin for long time then you should have a close circle who always buy sell btc. You can easily ask them fiat in exchange of BTC.

What was the exchange name?
2734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 15, 2022, 07:34:23 PM
I really think this damage the trust in the sports bets , or anything related to the sport gambling, i know a lot can say its a kind of protest but still really unclear.
No, it does not damage the trust. It's known to all. If you are in gambling then you should know that it's always high risk to gamble in lower leagues. Match fixing is very common in those leagues. If you gamble on those leagues then go against the favorite but do not put a lot of money.

Fun? Have you even been in the situation when you do not have your bypass link and you are trying to login from tor? Try.
Lol I will try.
You haven't ever? F*** you! 😘

I got the joke sis!

I will let you stay confused LOL

Big man will find something if he wants.

It's a lot more of the typical single-person owned online business than the Bisq-like decentralized platform.
It runs of Apache and has a phpMySql database. Theymos can remove the data anytime if he wants. The domain could be sold and the files could be removed.

I didn't bookmark the thread so I forgot who posted it. Luckily, I found it with Ninjastic.space. His username is blockgardener and this is the thread: Bitcoin price calculator - Calculate live and historic Bitcoin prices
The site has actually been live for almost a year, but I just discovered it after the OP posted some fresh updates the other day.
Thank you. The user deserved some merit. I wish I was a source. But happy to send couple for him. According to whois, the domain registered in march 2020 so the domain age is over 2 years. Now that we started to discover the project I hope more bitcoiner will find it useful and use it frequently.

Right now unfortunately there are not much data for the website.

<snip>
Even some of those staunchest of trust-advocates that have not added me to their trust list or excluded me (some citing I am too hasty leaving negative tags as their reason, others have their own reasons or agendas) have themselves left highly dubious or factually incorrect negative tags for others thus contradicting themselves but I have tried to remain focused on the responsibility I have in conducting myself as a responsible member of this community. Others conduct their own responsibilities in the forum how they deem appropriate, there are no wrongs or rights, it is about interpretation.
<snip>
According to the bold part, you are expecting everyone to add you in their trust list. If they don't then they are staunch? You are now mad at the users who excluded you from their trust list including those did not add you at all.

I asked Royse777 if I can see the details and he/she shared it with me so I was among the circle too. But right now you are accusing us and saying closed circle as it sounds we gave him a friendly pass without justifying the entire situation.

Where is your problem? Royse777 decided to share the information with some of us or he did not share everything in open forum.
If not sharing in open forum is your problem then I can confirm, he didn't do it for his own privacy and security as well as few others too. None of us can protect him if something turn wrong against him.
If sharing the information with us is your problem then it's a strange feeling. 🙄

I kind of agree with DireWolfM14 but would like to add, someone is rightfully concerned about their security while you are being so curious to fix your drama.
2738  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: July 15, 2022, 02:04:53 PM
@BitcoinGirl.Club That wasn't an excellent way to reply to someone. Healthy Criticism is appreciated. But, Wanting to f**k someone in a public place isn't good at all.
He was asking for it.
What difference does it make what all sorts of two-faced degenerates can accuse you of? It does not matter.
I left him in the ignore after the argument he had against me and others. I was not stepping in his discussions anymore. You provoke me by calling two-faced degenerates then expect me to stay silent is not going to happen. If this was not on purpose then apologize and remove, I leave until he dare to do similar in the future.

Sorry OP, I will not make anymore conversation on this topic. It shows that I am destroying your good initiative.
2739  Other / Meta / Re: How Would You Make Bitcointalk Better If You Were The Boss ? on: July 14, 2022, 10:46:23 PM
I would implement KYC so all you fu****s leave the forum 😉
Give a break to the Theymos man.
Lol, I mean this forum has no monetary value so why would anyone submit KYC  Angry isn't that against decentralization?
This was a joke brother. You did not notice the emoji. The moment the forum will ask KYC (does not make sense even we are talking about it) the principal of the forum will disappear. Although it's fine to ask on the 1st April 🤣
