2721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next better altcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 12:15:23 PM
At present many new tokens added coinmarketcap. How I find a good and valuable token. I am afraid to buy a new token to see my family background. Can I continue trading or stop immediately or find a better altcoin. Please give me a suggestion. I want to earn more money for a better future.

if you are afraid to invest in new token, then you only need to invest in old token that already have product and progress, because it is safer and more profitable for you, then my advice is you better invest in old token that are in the top 100, because the price will definitely continue to increase and of course it will make you earn more money for the future.
That perfectly said.  And it is not necessary that we need to say I was good but deep inside, we are not sure what we are doing. It is very simple, we need to be honest with ourselves and never take the risk if we are not willing or still undecide otherwise, that will only compromise you later.

Just an addition;
Think wisely and choose those coins that you think OP will positively give you gains in the future, not just because it was cheap or it was known coins. What we after is profit, not the name and price.
2722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are rampant in the market on: July 10, 2021, 11:42:21 AM
When people saw the value of Bitcoin, they also created various altcoins. Some people who make a profit from investing in Bitcoin will also choose to invest in altcoins.
I invest not only in Bitcoin but also with several altcoins. The reason is that we can't just put a hundred eggs in one basket and that we need to spread for security assurance (or at least). We don't just close our door and focus on a single investment, as once you are spreading to more coins, that will also give you a chance to gain more, that is my market perspective.

Quote
In such a messy market, can we still allocate assets to cryptocurrencies? What should be done with altcoins?
We can't clean this mess so easy nor we have a chance as the scammer will create hundreds or thousands of fake projects just to scam innocent individuals. It needs market regulation but to ask who will be taking charge of this? The government?
2723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question for bitcoin traders !!! on: July 10, 2021, 07:42:11 AM

Either you have to get used to the condition which is the market is never going to be stable so we always have to ready to face the worse scenario when you wake up or you can implement strategies to minimize the losses for example if you don't want the Bitcoin price to fall below 10% then you can set stop loss then you may save lot of money from big losses or you will escape with minimal loss.
I think that will be the last option, because if we can still manage to hold for a while much better than doing stop loss.

We can't really hide our fear and we can feel it naturally. But, we should consider the situation where the market is not stable and probably we know that already since from the start. It was not the market will do the favor for us but instead, we are the ones to make some adjustments just to cope up with the tragic changes.
2724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will El Salvador become the "Home of Bitcoin"? on: July 09, 2021, 11:37:08 PM
They'll be because they are the first to adopt and legalize bitcoin, I can only imagine how this country will improve as their move will result in better opportunities for investment and other online activities that would generate taxes for them.

El Salvador is a small country with a small population, so this is really helpful for them.

They are pro-crypto because their government supports crypto and that will fast track their economic growth.

They are the first to make Bitcoin as the legal tender, but Bitcoin was legalized in countries such as Japan many years ago. The move by El Salvador didn't had any impact in the market, as the FUD from China crashed the prices. Unless some of the big names move to El Salvador, or expand their business to include that country, I also don't expect any big impact. As far as the market is concerned, the size of the market in El Salvador is very small (at least when compared to the markets in countries such as US and China).
Yeah, El Salvador is not somebody when it compared how China and the US influence the market but at least we are seeing them adopting the new system which can contribute small things at least. Because if this small country accepts and legalizes Bitcoin, that might possible the other small countries will look into it that way also.

But I think that people had already learned and ignored FUDs especially those coming from China. As we can see, the market never drops badly, Bitcoin still at a high price ranging from $32k -$36k for several weeks, that will something to tell that people already manage to stay calm despite those FUDs.
2725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: July 09, 2021, 10:54:42 PM
Sell weak hands as always. In particular, newcomers who came to the market at the peak of growth and are now watching how their deposit is melting before our eyes.
Such people very often do not withstand such pressure and sell their coins during the downtrend.
And the worst part is that a great deal of those newbies could have avoided that fate if they were willing to wait long enough, after all when the price stopped moving up it was clear that something was about to happen, the price could have gone up or down but that was the moment to wait and let the market decide which direction it will go, but they were greedy and bought at the worst possible time and now they are suffering the consequences of such a mistake.
Very often to happen that newbies will never think about the future but just for today or in short term. That is why they mostly got panic when the market shows a decline as they are worried that they can't get their money back, they are not comfortable. And this happens when we just jump on the market not knowing if that will be the best position to buy.
If they had come during the hype and buy, this kind of investors has no doubt that they are already selling.
2726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After China, Now it's Mexico's Turn to Ban Crypto on: July 09, 2021, 04:29:03 PM
This is bad news for crypto, we would always want a global adoption but with the news that there are some countries who already started to ban crypto, then it would not help to achieve a stable future. Bitcoin will still exist despite bad news but the volatility will remain as there the bigger adoption that we dream will not likely happen due to regulatory hindrance.
2727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 09, 2021, 04:13:11 PM
The Bucks made only 9 out of 31 3-pointers, and I guess it was the main reason for their defeat in this game.
That's not the main reason, IMO, the main reason is the 50% shooting of the Suns in 3 points, meaning their defense is not effective.

Also, it worth noting that Giannis had problems with free throws(61%), and he could have scored seven more points. If he had made all free throws, it probably would have influenced the outcome of the match. Anyway, the upcoming game will be critical for the Bucks, and they must win it.
Giannis is not a good FT shooter, so we can't expect that he will shoot all the FTs, what's important is Giannis had a good Field goal percentage but his teammates have been struggling and that cannot happen in game 3.
2728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should we do in the sideways market of Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2021, 09:44:38 PM
Stocking up is probably the best thing to do during this time that the market is in sideways because you have a discounted price for all the bircoin out there in the market. Plus it's a great filter for people who don't deserve to get a big profit because these times can make someone easily panic over the fact that the prices are going wild.

It really really does depend on what you are doing though. If you are holding or trading super long term then for sure, sideways is buying time, but not too much too or you got nothing left when the real dip happens. On the other hand, if you are a short termer then you keep wanting to make money from volatility even during sideways market periods.
Stick to the plan, if Plan A never works then we have to proceed with Plan B or else, we have to set for another Plan as the situation is also changing. Either be a short-term or Long-term trade, it also depends on the market trend. We need to be flexible as we never know the trend of the market but more possible it is certainly moving up and down, and as a trader, we have to analyze it otherwise our trade will end up in losses and failure.

2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 08, 2021, 12:24:41 PM

Yes, it's not good for the future of it. And just like now, they probably have been getting the thoughts of their fans that they're no longer the same as before and they need to make a lot of changes. I think that has led them with the new policies that have been released lately including the max salary cap for the rookies and other changes that they've made. But that's not enough as per the demand of the fans. AFAIK, there's one guy that has expressed his thoughts about how the league became scripted and they choose who's going to win the finals per season.

And who still remember the case of Don Allado, he voice this things out but instead of getting the
interest of the people it turned against him and receive punishments from the league of governors.

Not new anymore and with how the switch taking place, the interest of viewers is no longer the same as how PBA was way back 70'-90's
where games are being waited by fans and very active to shows their support from those players and teams that they really idolized.

PBA commissioners needs to work this things out and reshuffles those franchise  Grin, or allow other companies to enter the league, they should
give spot for new franchise. And not to allow super teams to acquire more premium players and trade  players who are no longer  valuable for the team.

That's correct, they need to have an overhaul of the current system, it's very obvious that it's not working as it's very easy to predict what team will win. More teams will make it a more competitive league, and please don't allow one company to own many teams, that is not good for the competition as they can fix games in favor of the a certain team they owned.
2731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I invest in cryptocurrency or coinbase COIN on: July 07, 2021, 11:26:36 PM
Is investing in cryptocurrency is good idea or COIN ,

<removed external link>
They are all investments and they are all good. It is up to you to choose what is going to work out best for you. COIN is a good asset to own, but I don’t think it is going to generate a good income like you would do when you invest in cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. Coinbase started at a higher value, but since then it has dropped to a lower value than what it was at first.Maybe few years to come it might go up again. As for Bitcoin, we have seen increase from year to year, the value keeps increasing and even when it is not a major bull run, there are still some slight increase that can make you profit.
I would say that Coinbase coin is much more better compared into those coins which dont actually have some real use or does have product for you to look at.When it comes to investment decisions

then it would always vary into your financial risk management because its your money then you do have the full control of it and making decisions which you do seem that it would benefit you.

When it comes to real product or company then i can say that Coinbase coin is a good one but of course you shouldnt expect that much.
As an investor, I take those who can positively give me ROI, if Coinbase will have the potentials, why not? In fact, there is no limitations when it comes to investing as long as we have the money to risk. It is not hard to make a decision if we already know which one but the problem is that we don't know. The only we know is that Coinbase exists for many years and that could tell enough, Bitcoin, ETH, and BNB are still there.

Thus, if you have a lot of money like whales, the best option is to invest in Coinbase and as well as potential cryptocurrencies.

2732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cake Coin good for Passive Income? on: July 07, 2021, 10:48:14 PM
Those who bought cake coins before the recent pump have made huge profits but then that can not guarantee the future profits potential of cake coins, so I will advise you just take the risk of holding for the future and accept whatever the outcome will be. All passive income investments also come with their risks.
The CAKE is rising, I missed to get entry because of low balance. Few weeks back CAKE down $10 USD. I used Syrup Pools automatic restaking cakes and getting cake everyday. Most people asserting this is useful for automated revenue. So, what is the issue? You should concern risk factor to avoid further losing.
You are certainly be missing them because you don't trust this project in the first place and we know that we mostly underestimate new projects. But should we have to blame ourselves for missing this opportunity? I don't think so as I think also that Cake coin had nothing potential to stay in the market for a long time. We could say it was passive income for short-term investment but if we consider it for the long-term, we can't guarantee for that.
2733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 07, 2021, 11:37:27 AM
Running for presidency requires big money,  and we all know Pacquiao is capable of spending what is needed as he is a billionaire in the Philippines. With what he will make in this fight, the guaranteed purse is $5 million for him, so he will make more or less 250 million PHP, and PPV is not included yet.
I think Pacquiao will make more money through PPV than his guaranteed purse, and yes, that's a big help for him to finance his campaign being a presidential candidate. That's why this fight is really important to him, and he needs to win this so he can still get a good fight.

Easy money for him, but regardless of how much he will make, still unlikely he will win in politics.

The funny thing is, Manny is favored to win in any boxing fight but he is a big underdog in politics.

That says, you cannot be good in everything.

There's no such thing as easy money when you risk your health and worse is your life in the ring, we just say it easy because Manny is a great fighter, but we can never be sure if they'll always be safe in the ring.
2734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 07, 2021, 11:16:00 AM
What's happening to the PBA?

There's a lot of news now that some great players are going to Japan's B League.

Can the PBA stop their players from taking this kind of opportunity? Sure, Kiefer Ravena is not happy with some players getting signed while he stays with the PBA because they did not allow him.
2735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never sell your Bitcoin? on: July 06, 2021, 11:31:15 PM
Im just really amazed on those hodlers which even up to now they havent sold out even a single coin.

That's because you've never had the mindset of a millionaire. I don't blame you because it's hard to put yourself in someone else's shoes.

What Michael is talking about is holding an asset that grows in value as long as you can because it's going to give you more every year and if you die it's going to give this value to your children or grandchildren.
It is not just because we have a mindset of becoming a millionaire and we have to hold for a long time. There are a lot of factors why many aren't able to hold, like if you only have limited resources and don't have strong financial capabilities.
We can't it in our mind to hold for 5 years, 10 years, or even more but the problem is we are lack of execution, and most of the time our fears got triggered to sell our holdings.
2736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: July 06, 2021, 12:28:48 PM
Holding can be a good investment strategy but we should be careful about choosing the best crypto for holding. A lot of people are not interested to involve themselves on trading and they are holding different crypto to earn profit. Both are good for different types of people.
holding suitable for long term purpose, if we shoud do deep research we will find which project were worthed to hold for long term investment. and dont forget holding need good mentality which is used to face uncertain market and bearish market. some investors want to be long term investors but they didnt prepare this factors.

You have to understand what you are doing, that's why it's necessary to make complete research before investing as holding might result in panic to an investor who has no deep knowledge about crypto. If an investor understands the volatility and manipulation, he would not panic in any situation, even in a bullish situation, he will remain focus on his goal.
2737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 06, 2021, 12:08:52 PM
Even if you are good, if there are distractions in life there is no way you are going to dedicate your full time into it while his opponents only aim is to compete at the highest standards and thereby build a reputation by defeating Manny Pacquiao.

I agree here. Now that he's now in USA to start his official training, I hope he will keep focus on it although it's hard to erase what's on his mind about those things he left on the Philippines and those things he will faced once he come back.

If only Pacquiao start making noises on the politics after the fight, it's much better so he can focus with the fight. He is rushing things to build his name in politics.

What's done is done, he just needs to deal with the current situation, we know it could distract him but we know how to focus Manny is, so we still have to trust him. IIRC, during his fight with Margarito, he was also running for politics that time and they said it might distract Manny, but we saw how the fight ended.
2738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 05, 2021, 10:02:42 PM
I myself am really against the meme coin, because in my opinion meme coins like doge and shiba inu are just a joke coin that can rise due to temporary hype, not very suitable for long-term investment because it has no utility at all

Being in crypto has taught me something. Apart from Bitcoin, I don't care about what's right but making money from altcoins. I know strong altcoin projects with good architecture and community but they don't get the support and price increase that these shitcoins and meme coins get. Its sad but that's what I've come to realize about the market. If MEME coins are trending, I would rather profit off them and then move back to projects with strong fundamentals and Bitcoin. That's the best bet. Profit off the trend.
We need to be practical if meme coins give us some market opportunities, why not ignore them? Like what happens to Doge and Shiba coin, they are more profitable compared to the Bitcoin during this time and people are riding into it. However, these coins can't be trusted to hold for long, it is best to sell them once they reach to its peak.
The majority will speak that meme coins are shitcoins but at least we get benefits from them before they become totally a dead coin.
2739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fear : The Debacle of a Trader on: July 04, 2021, 11:26:23 PM
I have seen people go crazy while trading and they have done nerve wrecking things. Putting a too much trust in the trading instrument can be harmful in the long run. Fear is obviously bad motion, but no one can control it as long as they are stubborn. But when it comes to the money, everyone has the weak point. Even the big players in the huge brokerage firm are always shaky while making bold moves. They know very well they are playing with the stuff for which people fight everyday. They know that's what we are working for every minute of life.
So trading with the fear or any other motions is completely natural. The only one thing we can do is, have "limits" to everything.
Because we are human beings, not a bot that they feel nothing.
We will certainly be broke once suffering losses and sometimes we feel discouraged to continue trading. Our heart and mind had fully controlled us and if we think that was easy to change this and keeping on the positive side, I don't know as it was impossible.

The reality is that not all the time we are strong and we can decide the right thing. It is normal as nobody is perfect and you are right, we have some limitations.
2740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Winter Is Coming, Warns Experts on: July 03, 2021, 09:10:06 PM
I already see this coming, experts do always based their prediction on the current situation, and since the current situation looks so bearish, then it's not surprising at all. They have the point, and I believe the price could get worse, but I like to know what's their price prediction, will it go below $30k, $20k, or $10k?

I'm observing the market, and it seems the bullish movement is really gone, I only see a little spark of bounce back, but it will not push through as the resistance is really strong.
