Muslim women in the UK 'must integrate and speak English' says David Cameron

The minority of Muslim men in Britain who have "backwards" attitudes to women must be confronted, David Cameron has said, as he vowed to review the role played by Britain's religious councils, including Sharia courts.

The Prime Minister said that the lack of integration of some Muslim communities allowed "appalling practices" such as female genital mutilation and forced marriage.

He wrote in The Times how he met Muslim women, some of whom "painted an alarming picture of forced gender segregation, discrimination and social isolation from mainstream British life".

"This is Britain. In this country, women and girls are free to choose how they live, how they dress and who they love. It's our values that make this country what it is, and it's only by standing up for them assertively that they will endure," he wrote.

Cameron will announce on Monday (18 January) a £20m language fund to help the 22% of Muslim women in the UK who have little or no English and raised the prospect that migrants who failed to improve their language skills could lose the chance to remain in Britain.

In his article, Cameron said it was up to migrants to improve their English language skills if they wanted to extend their stay in the UK or seek citizenship.

There are no plans to remove people who fail to reach a required level, although language skills are taken into account when people request to extend visas or apply for permanent residence in the UK.

He said he wanted to bring into the mainstream women from Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities, in particular — 60 per cent of whom he says are economically inactive.

His comments come at a time of great sensitivity surrounding Muslim integration in Europe. The sex attacks in Cologne by men of mainly north African origin, have made precarious the political future of German chancellor Angela Merkel.

Previously, the Muslim Council of Britain had criticised Cameron's policies for Muslim integration

this is not barbarians at the gate anymore this is ... i can't find the words for expressing my feelings about all this in english,... sorry

in belgium media you'll find not so much about those animals
one of the stories that came out was in one of the refugee camps at our coast.. (our last refuge away from those animals) an abandoned military base at koksijde, due to budged cuts and the glorious cut and rape our military by the  oh so glorious socialist party in power back then before Bart de Wever.
One refugee was cought breaking into a woman's room via the window and started to assault and rape that women infront of her child who was woken up by all the noise. that guy was caught by the security and tossed out of the camp, which is baffeling... everyone was asking why he didn't end up in jail or trown out of the country.

his reason to go rape her was simply the fact that, that woman didn't have a husband and was single. weither she has a child or not, he just wanted to have her.

disgusting people..

Teenage Girl Rushed To Hospital After Rape Attack By Afghan Migrant In Public Park

An 18 year old Austrian woman was “rushed to hospital” in the early hours of this morning after a drink with an Afghan stranger she met on a train turned into a sex attack.

Private security staff in Vienna’s Prater park rushed to the aid of a young woman in distress this morning around 02:30 o’clock after they heard cries for help. The 18-year-old victim had been raped on a park bench by a 21-year-old asylum seeker from Afghanistan, who is now in police custody.

The woman had met the man while on the train into central Vienna. Austria’s Krone newspaper replicated part of the police report, in which the victim said: “We got talking and decided to buy some alcohol to drink at the Prater park. We then sat down on the main avenue through the park on a bench”.

The man later became violent and attacked the woman from behind, raping her until she was able to escape and call for help, “screaming and crying”. It was at this point the private security guards who patrol the park came to the woman’s aid, and detained the 21 year old migrant until police could arrive.

At the time of his arrest, the man was found to be carrying a quantity of forged money, and marijuana. He is being kept in pre-trial custody.

Home of the famous Ferris wheel featured in the classic 1949 film-noir The Third Man, Vienna’s Prater park is a major tourist attraction for the city. The rape of a young woman in a popular nightspot without security realising until after her escape from the assailant will likely cause concern in the city, especially following the recent migrant rape attacks in a number of European cities on new year’s eve.

Hundreds of women have reported sex assaults and rapes by thousands of men in attacks which were, it is claimed, initially covered up by European media and police. Since the abuses became public knowledge, many women have come forward not only to police but also to the media to share their stories. Breitbart London reported on some of these stories after breaking the Cologne attacks to the English speaking world.

Eighteen-year-old Annika said: “It was scary. Mainly because a nobody helped. I feel so dirty. So used

“They all looked foreign. They managed to separate us in the crowd and got close to us… we tried to fight off their hands…. everywhere I looked I saw girls crying and being comforted”.

North African Refugee Men Suspected Of Stoning Transgender Women In Dortmund, Germany…

Three young men from North Africa sought to stone two transgender women in the western German city of Dortmund on Sunday.

According to a report on Friday on television station SAT1.NRW, the men attacked Yasmine und Elisa, two transgender women, near the city’s main train station.

“Within seconds we were tossed around…and they took stones from a gravel bed on the corner and threw them at us,” said Elisa.

A police car at the train station appeared as the stoning attack unfolded and arrested the men.

The German media as a general rule do not disclose the last names of victims to protect their privacy. The three men are between 16 and 18 years-old and are known to the authorities because of theft and assault arrests.

The Dortmund police official Kim-Ben Freigang said the suspects told the police that “such persons must be stoned.“ German media reported that one suspect said “You whores must be stoned.” Yasmine installed a security camera at her residence where she lives with Elisa after the attacks. “That was barbaric what they did. They are barbarians,” Yasmine said.

She added that she could not believe that such an act of shamelessness occurred. “In 2016, in Germany with stoning!” According to the SATI.NRW report, Yasmine said it was the first time in 30 years she felt unsafe as a transgender woman.

The three men, according to Yasmine and Elisa, propositioned them. After the men realized that Yasmine and Elisa are transgender women, the men launched their assault with stones.

He said his doctor claimed he didn’t though Clinton didn’t say what condition he has.

‘Asian’ Woman Stabs 15 Yr Old Boy On Bus In England

Officers from the Metropolitan Police have released CCTV footage in an attempt to identify a woman who attempted to stab a teenage boy on a bus in Lambeth.

On December 26, 2015, at about 12:30, the 15-year-old boy boarded a Route 133 bus on Brixton Road with his 51-year-old grandmother.

The suspect, who was already on the bus, approached the victim and produced a large kitchen knife, which she attempted to stab the victim with.

The victim's grandmother intervened and managed to disarm the suspect, who then got off the bus and fled towards Oval.

The victim suffered a minor cut to the stomach.

The suspect is described as an Asian woman, aged about 20 to 30-years-old. She wore a distinctive headscarf with a kangaroo print.

Growing number of police chiefs, sheriffs join call to arms

It’s Florida Sheriff Grady Judd’s duty to protect the citizens of Polk County — but he figures it’s their job, too.

One of a growing number of rural and big-city law enforcement officials who openly encourages responsible gun ownership, Judd believes guns allow citizens to defend themselves when police cannot.

“If you are foolish enough to break into someone’s home, you can expect to be shot in Polk County,” Judd said in a statement after a homeowner shot a would-be home invader earlier this month. “It’s more important to have a gun in your hand than a cop on the phone.”

Such full-throated embrace of the Second Amendment as a crime-fighting tool isn’t confined to red states like Florida.

One California police chief is backing teachers in his district packing heat. Detroit Police Chief James Craig has been a leader in urging his community to arm itself. A Maryland sheriff is working with the state’s general assembly to try to make it easier for citizens to obtain handgun permits.

In the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence’s most recent ranking of states with the strongest gun laws, California (1), Maryland (4) and Michigan (15) ranked near the top of the pack.

Some gun rights advocates say terror attacks at home and abroad have contributed to a change in attitudes about gun ownership among community members and authorities, even in locales historically hostile towards the Second Amendment.

“That has helped play into it, and there’s no doubt the active shooter scenario has, too,” said Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation. “You’re seeing people say, ‘How do you respond?’”

The answer varies based on where you live, and how your law enforcement leaders are selected.

Police chiefs are typically appointed by mayors, and their politics tend to line up with whoever chose them. Sheriffs, in contrast, are voted into office and in some cases espouse values of a constituency that is growing ever-more pro-gun.

“Historically, sheriffs have been very pro-gun rights,” Gottlieb told FoxNews.com. “But they’ve stepped out of the box and they’re now publicly making it known that firearms are good for self-defense.”

The clip, which only lasts 41 seconds, clearly shows her colleague and photographer Teun Voeten being attacked and thrown into a tent while three men pin him down. The perpetrators then proceed to run off down the makeshift streets of the migrant settlement.

Mr. Voeten is a longstanding contributor to outlets such as Vanity Fair, the New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, Newsweek, and Time magazine – the latter of which named German Chancellor Angela Merkel as their Person of the Year in 2015. He has also worked with Medicins San Frontieres, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and Amnesty International.

The description in the video alleges that the pair were set upon by three migrants armed with a “big knife” and pepper spray. The attackers attempted to rob the pair before other migrant residents of the Jungle were able to chase them off.

One migrant wields a knife

Ms. Engels posted the video on her Facebook along with her reaction to the attack, describing the men who robbed her as, “a couple of assholes,” then going on to make excuses for her attackers, saying they are likely to become criminals because, “they’ve got nothing higher to aim at”.

Another post by Ms. Engels from the day before the incident describes meeting a migrant named Muhammed who is a former English literature student in the Calais migrant camp.

She appears to reach out to her friends and followers to find the easiest way to get Muhammed into the UK, and find a way for him to pay reduced student fees.

Ms. Engels laments that the legal-aid volunteers are not sure how to procure Muhammed a student visa into the UK and says she fears he will remain in Calais and, “waste his life in this hopeless, dreadful sh**hole.”

Photographer, and victim of the attack, Teun Voeten also posted the footage on Facebook to the group “Calais Migrant Solidarity (no borders),” and was met with comments urging him to remove the footage.

Bill Banning Child Marriage In Pakistan Fails After It Is Declared ‘Un-Islamic’

Pakistani lawmakers had to withdraw a bill aimed at curbing the practice of child marriage after a prominent religious body declared the legislation un-Islamic.

The bill, which proposed raising the marriage age for females from 16 to 18, also called for harsher penalties for those who would arrange marriages involving children. Despite the laws in place, child marriages, particularly involving young female brides, are common in parts of the country. It’s estimated that some 20 percent of girls in the country are married before they turn 18.

But the Council of Islamic Ideology, a constitutional body which gives advice to parliament on the compatibility of laws with Sharia, appeared to slap down the legislation after deeming it “un-Islamic” and “blasphemous,” according to Agence France Presse. It had already handed down a similar ruling in 2014.

The council has garnered opprobrium in the past. In 2013, reports AFP, “it suggested making DNA inadmissible evidence in rape cases, instead calling for the revival of an Islamic law that makes it mandatory for a survivor to provide four witnesses to back their claims.”

Girls Not Brides, an international coalition of civil society organizations working against child marriage, cited this religious body as an obstacle toward reform. A number of provinces in Pakistan have pushed for legislation cracking down on child marriages, but implementing the law is more difficult.

Clerics on the council object to minimum age requirements, arguing instead that an individual can marry once reaching puberty, which can be as early as the age of 9.

Real men want a woman for a partner not a little girl, Most of us are enlightened enough to know this is unacceptable and any religion which condones it is back in the middle ages.

Americans' views on Hillary Clinton unaffected by Bill, poll finds

Majorities of both Democrats and Republicans say former president is not a factor in their opinion on his wife’s candidacy

Bill Clinton may be neither the “secret weapon” that Hillary Clinton needs in the US presidential race nor the albatross that Republican candidate Donald Trump expects.

The former president simply is not wielding that kind of influence – good or bad – over voters so far this year, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll. A majority of Americans, including 73% of Democrats and 52% of Republicans, said Bill Clinton does not factor into their opinion of Hillary for president.

The poll, conducted from 7 to 13 January, found that 12% of Americans were more likely to vote for Hillary, the former secretary of state, because of her marriage to Bill. Among Democrats, less than half said Bill Clinton should be more prominent in his wife’s campaign, and less than half felt that his presence in the race would boost her chances of winning.

Bill Clinton, widely credited for helping Barack Obama win a second term in 2012, has become much more active on the campaign trail this month, especially in New Hampshire, where Hillary Clinton trails Bernie Sanders in several recent polls.

VIDEO: Bill Clinton’s hand trembles at Iowa rally — blames old age

Does Bill Clinton have Parkinson’s disease?

While campaigning in Iowa Saturday to rescue Hillary’s floundering presidential campaign, the former president’s hand could be seen trembling while he was making a point.

As he was explaining his wife’s rationale for invoking 9/11 to defend her ties to Wall Street, Clinton said, “She was making the point that the people devastated on 9/11 were people to her, not categories.”

In 2013, Clinton denied having Parkinson’s.

“I have a condition that sometimes you get with aging,” Clinton said at the time, the Huffington Post reported. “You may have noticed it; my hand has a little tremor when I’m tired and a lot of people do when they’re older.”

“The first time it happened, I had to go get myself checked to make sure I didn’t have Parkinson’s [disease],” he said.
