The hackers and scammers always find a way to hack the coins of the users that's why I always recommend everyone to keep their coins in a cold wallet instead of hot wallet. In cold wallet someone is sure that the system is secure and is free from any type of malware, and even if someone connects it back to internet in order to transfer the coins into another wallet this type of malware won't harm such users as their system has been offline and they haven't installed any software into it. Such type of hacks are often very hard for someone to notice because they change the address of the wallet and if someone is trying to send thousands of dollars worth of Bitcoin then that user will face huge losses because of such malware. The only good option to be safe from such software is the cold wallet option and I recommend everyone to go for that if they are holding good amount in Bitcoin. I believe this is one of the reasons why LoyceV doesn't usually like anything that will lead to downloading an external app on its mobile device. Not only on mobile  It's quite simple: there may or may not be malware in software, but if you don't install it, you're sure it's not on your system. I agree with you, the only safe option to be free from malware is to avoid installing the software or apps on a system where you store your online wallets. We must have to have some wallets that we use for transactions and for such wallets safety we should avoid installing any software or applications that could penetrate our system. |

fair warning guys im loaded on pain meds from a back fusion.. and just as i recall when i was addicted to opioids many many decades ago, that pain relief can come with an unholy cost. glad i (just barely) beat it then. hope to beat it again and be off the opioids in a few more days.
so who knows what degen thoughts may leak out into any post i may or may not make in the next few days.
Don't give up man, you will be healthy once again and you won't be needing those opioids again for a long time. I know that sometimes we have to take those opioids to relieve the pain, but still we can hope to recover from the pain over time and gradually reduce the intake of such drugs. Although, we can't ignore that alcohol can have some good pros as well, but its cons are way higher than its pros and that's why someone with proper understanding about health & nutrition would avoid substance like alcohol at any cost. The long term consumption of alcohol is know to cause many types of cancers and other health issues and anyone who is addicted to drinking can have such kind of diseases in future. The could mining industry is totally fake and anyone who invests money into such mining sites will lose the money with 100% guarantee. You should have learned about mining and cloud mining first before investing that heavy amount into a site that could easily steal your money, and would not even care if you take any legal action or not.
Most of such sites are hosted by scammers and unlike traditional scammers these ones are way more intelligent to convince the users that they will earn lifetime revenue when they purchase mining plans on their sites. The victims like OP fall for such scams and end up losing their money.
Although, you have lost money on such a site, but instead of keeping silent about the situation you came up with a proper way to protect other innocent users by reporting the scam they have done to you. I'm sorry for your loss as it's unlikely that you will get your money back even if you contact OKX, but still you should at least try your luck as that's the only way for you to at least get some amount of your money back.

I believe that Bitcoin is into its recovery phase and it will cross the resistance mark of $41k in 2023 if the bullish pattern continues like this. In this chart we can see that the strength of the bullish pattern is far more dominant than the bearish one, and if it continues in this way then for sure the price will get another smaller pump in coming days. I know that in 3 weeks we have just 3 smaller red candles, but their intensity isn't really high till now and if another red candle with high intensity appears then things might be changed in that situation.
The situation gets worse if the candle hits and falls below the trendline, and in that case we can expect Bitcoin to fall below $25k mark, but I highly believe that such event won't take place at least in such times when huge companies like Black Rock. I'm more than sure that if Bitcoin gets another greenish candle then the things will be far better for us because in that case the Bitcoin may hit or cross $35k price mark. Well, it's still too early to decide that what's going to take place next so that's why we should still be positive about the price of Bitcoin.

Well that would be really amazing if something like this happens in real life, but I really doubt his words because we all know that politicians promise us the things that we want and when they gain the presidential status then they know the art of U-turns. Many of the politicians have promised things and they just ignored their promises when they gained the powerful position in governments. If he stick with his promise then I would really want someone like him to be the next president of America because a person who can back US dollar with Bitcoin can be a very valuable person for us Bitcoin enthusiasts. I also believe that anyone who is supporter of Bitcoin would support such candidates even with closes eyes because our main aim is to make Bitcoin more useful and if someone backs world's most acceptable currency with Bitcoin then we will support him. But, if such people continue taking U-turns then our hopes will be reduced and we will have to wait for a honest and generous person who could make such a dream as a reality. Until then we will see that what would Robert F. Kennedy Jr do when he gets accepted as the next president of America. |

As normal user of hardware wallet I would never think about anything like this or couldn’t imagine that things can be manipulated to this extend. Now I am not sure if this is true or whether this works for the forgery but it’s insane world so anything can happen.
Another question after seeing above pic, I also saw that winner got actual ledger wallets. How is it possible that they tampered with the wallet and also the primary packaging ?
Isn’t user would have known that if they had done something.
I already found a user who will triple check. - Authentication during the connection process. - Secure Element attestation. - Disassemble the device for comparison with photos provided by the developer. I think in a week or so he will publish his review. I think that would be a great step for the safety of the users who are still using the ledger provided by Betnomi. Most of the users are already in shock after their scam exit and if the ledger also tends to be malicious one then many users will be impacted one again by such a fraud casino. I think such review could bring the hopes of the ones who were affected by the casino's scan and who are still using the ledger for their coins, and with this review they will feel that they are still safe even if the parent company has done fraud with everyone. I appreciate your support and efforts for the victims of the Betnomi scam because they have also done wrong with you. I never though that they will scam exist like this, but anything can happen in the world of crypto gambling. |

You should have done some research on this forum before depositing your money on that casino. The casino is somewhat similar to 1xbit and anyone who deposits money on such casinos won't get anything even if they win the bets. I'm sorry for you, but I don't think that they will allow you to withdraw the money that you have won.
Be more careful next time because going with a casino site without proper research is like throwing your cash on fire in hope of getting the cash back, ah, you will get ash out of that cash and the fire will burn it cash paper into ash. The analogy might be funny, but that's a fact because the casinos that operate with such business are always doing this with their users and yet no one can stop them.
I would recommend you to learn about a casino and read reviews about it on this forum as well as on other sites, and you should at least search scam accusations of the casinos on this forum before depositing money into a casino. It's always said that prevention is better than cure, and it's always better to avoid fishy sites at any cost.

Just as my topic reads, I'm interested to know if anyone has ever used copy trading apps and what's your experience?
I've always known of octafx copy trading app but never never used it because I've tried downloading it but got other similar apps from playstore and didn't know which was real,
I finally installed one that seemed real and I think I love the simplicity but haven't tried it out yet because I didn't want to be scammed of any cent 😅 but I think judging from what I saw on the app, this is one cool place one can make profits without getting to stress their brain but rather pick a trader based on their performance and your preferences and you're good to go.
What do you guys think about copy trading?

Don't fall for the scam of copy trading as it will never help you to be a trader but someone who copies others, and you should keep in your mind that others can be wrong many times and if you are placing your orders based on their strategies then you chances of loosing a lot of money is going to be a confirmed thing. I really give no importance to copy trading and I would also recommend to avoid it as any cost. A copy trader is worse than someone who losses 10 out 20 trades because that trader at least know that what he/she is doing. If someone does copy trading then that person is throwing his money into river in hopes of getting higher amount then the thrown amount. I would recommend you once again to avoid this type of activity if you don't want to get scammed by the fake trades of a trader. |

And, even if your prediction regarding Euro's value loss is correct then still that won't have any impact on the global economy. In some situations Bitcoin can be a very helpful adoption for a country and its economy but still a country which is already bankrupt won't be able to gain any economical advantage by adopting Bitcoin. Let's take the example of Sri Lanka, we all know that the economic condition of that country is in the worst levels possible and adopting to Bitcoin won't help it to become free from economic challenges.
Bitcoin can be helpful for the people of such countries only if they know that they are investing in an asset that is going to be higher in value and should be kept safely because Bitcoin can be hacked and someone who doesn't have proper knowledge about Bitcoin can lose a lot of money due to his/her lack of knowledge.
In a country some people who already have enough money can invest in Bitcoin to make their future life better, but if people who hardly earn a wage to support their families then they won't get better by adopting Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not for rich people only, but still rich people can make far more profits from it then the poor people. I still think that providing awareness about Bitcoin to a community can be very helpful for that community and many people in such countries can improve their lives by adopting Bitcoin.

To be honest when I saw this topic in the gambling section I was not expecting this casino to be pulling off some exit scam whatsoever, but when I read the topic started by Coinbox1 I realized all this situation was worse than I imagined. I personally find endearing this action, seeking to give something to those who lost money to scammers, but perhaps this could be seen as an attempt to monetize from the disgrace of a community, keeping in mind what is going on. Just my opinion, of course, I am sure many of the victims will appreciate such "relief". Yeah I saw that thread and I am dual on what to think about it.First of all Betnomi set a real bad bad precedent for any new coming casino wanting to open business here,they even sponsored the Champions League pool last year and I thought they are doing very well and have money to spare.I think the owners of Betnomi were plain stupid if they shut down business and are happy with what amount they scammed from the users,if they continue business as usual they would be making a lot more profit like any other casino in the long run,what a bunch of idiots. I have not yet read the full context behind all this situation, though. What they have done is stupid, obviously, because even if they closed the casino in a proper way and allowed people to withdraw, they could have kept their reputation and use it in the future to try again. But for some strange reasons they decided to sell their reputation for whatever money people had deposited on their platform. If they were profitable there was not reason to do this. Obviously. I feel very sad for the users of that casino because they have put a lot of money for gambling at that casino and their hope are now gone into dust. Because of KYC verification which is now done by most crypto casino to know the people who gamble on their casino, I think anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency in crypto casino.

You are not wrong the crypto gambling is totally a changed thing now. It was intended to be decentralized and anonymous but these days almost every casino requires KYC verification in order to be workable for a gambler. The real decentralized nature of crypto gambling is totally gone into dust and it will never be the way it was intended to be. Now a days crypto gambling is totally centralized and it requires KYC, and casinos know everything about the gamblers. |
