You really suck at assumptions,Don't you? Which University you studied your economics and current affairs at ?I guess its "I don't know jack shit university".Please refrain from making such troll posts.

The more you ask trolls to stop posting such shit, the more they'd do so. It's a viscous circle.
However the Yellowstone MAY actually explode any day that IS the real doomsday scenario which is possible.

In that context I really wonder how Scrypt.cc is still functional.
2723  Economy / Services / Re: Need Website Manager - Payed Position - $100 per month on: January 12, 2016, 03:30:02 AM
Great post. I am willing to apply since it won't take much of my time. But the monthly payment must be put into an escrow over here on the forum or upwork / freelancer. You bear the fees.

2725  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Willing to lease 27 acres of land for bitcoin mining on: January 12, 2016, 02:55:34 AM
But hey don't get me wrong here there are hundreds of opportunities especially with international merger and acquisition agents who can best help you if you have a lot of land available just collecting 'dust'. Such deals can be very lucrative and provide a substantial boost to the economy of the country.
I don't have the money nor the connection with such people with so much available space but I do have some M&A connections who in turn have clients who are investing into startups here in India and are on the lookout for new 'land' which in states where the state govt. has some kind of extra benefits for such international projects.
So yeah if you have a lot of land and dont want to go and build a real estate project, there are surely other more new age options available.

M&A,can you provide any leads in return of of some Bitcoins.
Firstly I would not want to work with NASA or any big companies.
I Am a architect hence I am confident enough to know how to get a passive cooling done in a built form.
I need investors as I have 2 big ideas.I think we as a country need to embrace change and get out of this crab mentality of pulling other down.

1. Are you calling me a crab?  Undecided

I am not pulling anyone down here, just stating facts, like the rest of the community members here have done, don't like the advice you get from us crabs, fine, be the salmon and end up in a bear's stomach. And if you are really lucky to make it to the end and lay your eggs, great! Now you're too old and will die from exhaustion.

2. About providing leads, sure I can, being a liaison that is part of my job, but that would mean you'd have to talk about your projects with me and I'd be approaching my contacts, once someone shows interest then you deal with them directly, and we're not talking about some btc's here, we're talking about a commission based on the entire deal amount that gets closed. What, how much, what's the process, for all that you'd have to initiate a private conversation.

A last tip though, keep in mind I am now a crab.

Why do people not mention price? Half ad effectiveness gone

Wrong. Mention price, no one ever talks to you, dont mention, get a conversation going negotiate, close deal.
2728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stand by Net Neutrality. Save the Internet in India. on: January 10, 2016, 11:08:08 AM
Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfY1NKrzqi0

Take Action: http://www.savetheinternet.in

Note: You may ignore this message as just another internet campaign. No Bad Luck will haunt you. But, if we can not save the Net Neutrality in India, there will be a day, when you will be answerable to your children for surrendering freedom to greedy corporates. Act Now.

Umm.. where was this voice when they started banning porn sites? When they starting banning sites like vidbull? When they started banning torrent sites?
How are any of those sites not a way communicating and sharing information freely?
Why is it only now; when bigger corps  start eclipsing the sun for smaller corps, that all of a sudden this outcry for saving the internet started appearing?

Dont get me wrong, I stand by net neutrality but I just want to correct the fundamental basis on which this campaign is being run, it's not for the freedom of internet or saving it, it's just smaller money hungry corps wanting a piece of the proverbial chunk of 'cake' that only the big corps are reserving for themselves.

If you want a true unbiased free internet, then stop regulating the internet altogether.

So you are sayin ,
the temperature is the only issue here right..
what if we can achieve a temperature optimum for minin indoors will it be suitable then for mining.

Forgetting rain? wind? dust? If you are able to overcome these issues including changing temperatures optimum available energy for use and backup, then you're better off collaborating with NASA they could use your expertise in their next MARS mission. I'm serious. You could make much more than what you can with bitcoin / altcoin mining.

Basically having a lot of land does not have a direct relation to a profitable mining.
2732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All or Nothing BTC Funding Website? on: January 10, 2016, 06:35:43 AM
I don't know any of the bitcoin related kickstart which allow public investment. I have recently heard one india based bitcon wallet have raised 1million$ recently but it is from private investment. So may be some other member may have better idea.

It's not a fundraiser, investors were already a part of the company's advisory boards and related to the company in some way or the other. Only now they have invested their own money into a venture that they think will yield them a good return.

Keep your eyes on Bitstarter.co you'll see something in the line of kickstarter / indiegogo coming from people behind that website.
2733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do: bank to empty my bank account for receiving payment from cons on: January 10, 2016, 06:27:03 AM
You can  withdraw the money from your account if it's not frozen. If you get a legal notice, hire a lawyer to represent you and make a case against the bank.
Even if the money is stolen you have provided a service or digital goods against the money that you received in your account. You have to prove that you knew nothing of the fact that the money was stolen before you dealt with this person, also make it a point that it is not your duty to freeze stolen accounts and funds so the end user/seller does not get in trouble. All the discussions in your localbitcoins account and the transaction records will serve as proof here. If they still want to play smart, then simply have them pay for your loss. If you play your cards right, you can not only sue the bank AND keep the money but you can get them to pay you for the trouble they're causing.

But only do this if the amount is very large, else it'll be like fighting a world war to win a small piece of your neighbor's backyard.
2734  Economy / Services / Re: Need some fast money? on: January 10, 2016, 06:14:12 AM
It seems like you're trying to build trust around here. Hero and up, must leave a feedback.

Just saying, it sounds dodgy to me.

Dont you dare lie !! But then again you have DARED and HAVE LIED.

Firstly by failing to recognize who 'someone' is.

Secondly you specifically said $10 per hour you NEVER said someone HAD to work for 5 hours. I remember even Bitcoingrw posting that message on that group chat window that I wanted to for only a few hours. He was going to work for only 1 or 2 hours and if you could pay him.

No matter how you look at it, it is your fault.

If you even at least had responded in the 20 + minutes that I waited for your response then I WOULD have stayed. But you DID NOT RESPOND!

Whose fault is that?

I'd say his fault. But you should have taken upfront payment. Did you get paid yet?

2736  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Akhand Bharat - United India : Should it happen ? on: January 04, 2016, 12:22:28 AM

There wouldn't be a winner. They are both nuclear powers. It would be a disaster. And even if nuclear weapons weren't used the conflict would spread throughout the region. And other countries would back either side maybe leading to world war. By the way, was just watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON-6vyQugw4 funny but both sides need to bring it down a little.

That is a show more than anything. Not all border guards have such.. lets say performances. But its something of national pride and something no outsider would understand.

Secondly, why would India have to become a muslim majority to unite with Pakistan? Pakistan was made to be a secular state?
Hyderabad united with India and still the majority religion didn't change, Sikkim and manipur were united with Indian Union.. we didnt change to budhism. Did we?

The 'idea' of India is to be the largest secular democracy in the world a country ruled by the people, for the people and a gov. made OF the people. To say any one person or a religious community would have influence over the another would be.. idiotic to say the least.

The 'idea' of Akhand Bharat is not an utopian fantasy, it was a land that actually existed before the seeds of communal violence were sown here. The idea does not propagate a single religious authority, maybe the RSS' version of Akhand Bharat does, but MY Akhand Bharat's idea is of a land that is united by tradition, culture and history. Definitely not by who has the biggest D.. I mean nuke arsenal.

2737  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [WTB] Used Ps3 or Xbox on: January 04, 2016, 12:13:40 AM
looking to buy used Ps3 or Xbox console in good working condition.Anyone interested to sell please post here description, pictures with your bitcointalk username on a paper and price.(including or excloding shipping).Payment can be made via btc or bank transfer.Ready to escrow funds

What's the price you're looking to buy one for??

Depends on the condition of said item.If it is 6-7 months old,I will pay more than what I will pay for 1 year old model it is obvious I guess

Well not many would sell a 6 - 7 month old unit now would they? In anycase I have a couple of them one's a fat and one's a slim. Both run fine, no scratches, no issues and they were bought when they were new on the market which means they're old. Now let me know your budget.
My budget is 10,000-12,000 Rs.Can you please post the specifications of both and the year when you bought them? Can you please post their pictures too?
I am looking for at least an offer of 15k+ anything below I won't waste your time.
Can you please post the pictures with your username on a piece of paper on it

Sure I can. But like I said anything below that price point would not interest me. So to unbox, take a snap repack for someone who's not even on the same page is.. kinda waste of my time. Anyways..

as i don't have much to invest..  Cry  Grin

i am keeping this thread open. anyone having any plans just PM me.. cheers

Ok here are some suggestions for you to consider more than anything.

Bitcoin mining is not what it was back in 2010 or during the peak trading bubble in 2013 and with the price swings and the big issue of BTC's legal status in India poses a serious threat to anyone looking to get into BTC mining.
I am going to parrot something which someone - a big time investor in BTC - told me about investing in BTC; "In bitcoin mining there is no exit strategy for investors especially big investors, the moment the price swings for the worse there is nothing else you can do other than panic sell everything. There is no way to even break even the same amount if the price swings or the gv. cracks down on the setup" - which in this mega scale they WILL.
Imagine someone setting up a huge bitcoin farm in 2013 with 1 BTC = $1000 price point in mind, they could be still waiting for a day to at least break even or have already liquidated their assets for a fraction of it's cost.

If you really however prep your acres of land for future bitcoin business then create a solar / wind power generation hub in these lands.
Maybe even create a market for the bitcoin to be used in, right now there are bunch of exchanges and investors mining bitcoin making some profit but all the while standing on the edge of a sword.. barefooted.

With your power generation hub as the backbone many more investors would want to jump into your wagon because you are not just trying to earn some extra cash by Bitcoin mining - but also helping to solve a big problem in India, i.e by improving the Power generation & related infrastructure of that area.

I hope it made sense.
