Haaland will need to confirm his performances for several years, but he is on a great way to stand up to a lot of comparisons.
I don’t think a comparison between Ronaldo and Haaland could make any sense. At least not now nor in the nearest future. Ronaldo is a goal scorer. You mentioned he never contributed to the game besides the results. If I may remind you, the result is majorly what matters and how the game is played is irrelevant if the game is ultimately won and Ronaldo helped win a lot of games during his prime. Although Afghanistan's bowling line-up was strong, they had nothing to do in this match as the runs were very short and Sri Lanka did not bat with any pressure on this target as a result of which the Sri Lankan batsmen did not play any wrong shots. As the Sri Lankan batsmen did not play any wrong shots, the Afghanistan bowlers could not make any impact on the Sri Lankan batsmen in this short target. |

I agree with you India last won the ICC trophy in 2013 that too under captain Dhoni. After Dhoni's departure,i never saw India lift another international trophy.
