2741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: July 26, 2022, 12:36:32 AM
Today was a bearish day, we failed to hold momentum required to stay within a bullish projected scenario.   Highest prices today reflect weekly average and also 50 day, the only saving grace is we cease falling right as that would be the 30 day average but only if we rebuild and regain what we lost.   It is possible, the FED rate news is this week so event news can alter the price direction some and we these prices as a brief spike in the rear view mirror.

A massive clue is exceptional external events.   So 2020 you have a once in a century type global pandemic, when I was a kid I heard about the great amounts of deaths from Influenza around the time of the 1st world war, some said more died from the virus then the war which was terrible so thats impactful over decades after.   Point being thats a giant exceptional circumstance.
Right now we do have a war and its not just localized, the nature of Ukraine in its exports is towards a global economy in gas and wheat there possibly there could be many secondary deaths from that and recession.  Again in 2022 there is exceptional circumstances, unfortunately in quick succession from 2020 prior its creating a hard environment for BTC.   The reason to weigh this when considering BTC is comparative value, we get lower liquidity on many speculative things and so its not too much surprise the price is suppressed but ironically this makes me less bearish as its not just crypto its everything tbh.  In terms of the price coming up to August start, its walking the line right along 50 day average.
2743  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4hr bars is the best default time frame to orientate on: July 24, 2022, 11:59:20 PM
Still above the weekly average, see how we fair with this tomorrow and this week.   We do have pressure between this shorter term momentum & the 50 day average which is declining and will continue to do so.

However just this moment its looking bullish, weekly bar closes Sunday of course which gives a wider view.   For me to be especially bullish I need not just mild action but a proper rise upwards above and beyond  the 200 week average is what I want to see.   Apparently bond markets are moving slightly to ease the dollar strength so it remains to be seen if crypto benefits from slightly more optimism etc.

Try 22347 as a mark just because of the 50 day average.  However I really expect BTC to respect most boundaries like a monster truck observes curbs
2744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 23, 2022, 11:57:25 PM

I miss 2013 Cry

2013 was tough, we sold off like 20% I swear just like that and I had no idea why really and then it quintupled twice over in just the remaining months of the year.   How was anyone to know it was going to do that, I didnt have a decent monitor to even view webpages I still had my 1994 model so I used up some BTC on what was viewed later as the lowest prices.    I have no doubt some selling now is just because people got to use up their capital wherever that might be and so it snowballs some, should that really reflect on BTC as a genuine negative or is it really just a reflection of liquidity withdrawing.
Short term vs long term effects basically, long term inflation is not so easily defeated we have ongoing currency weakness where BTC is with a known schedule and steady history over a decade of growth and utility to an expanding global audience.   Dont get too caught with the negatives in this particular year when we'll be progressing again next year and after that, market price considerations are separate from overall usage and demand imo
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 23, 2022, 11:26:25 PM
Surely deposit bonuses are separate from the ability to withdraw at any time.  They should always allow the withdrawal of the original money I think is fair or return to source perhaps if thats a requirement for security purposes.    A requirement to play the balance ten times over would be prohibitive and hard to handle for most people but perhaps thats paired with a great bonus, it should be open and clear in these cases so nobody feels upset or unfairly tricked in this requirement to play and benefit from the casino operations.
2746  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 23, 2022, 11:06:39 PM
It seems unlikely but as a spike down we could get 4 digit prices I suppose.   This is a consideration as a function of volatility which could rise further, my ongoing premise is volatility is tending to trend up so I have to respect that can also mean lower then expected prices too.  Overall I dont see BTC as staying that low beyond a spike or margin test for some perhaps, the reason being FED is likely unable to combat inflation effectively.
Even by their own stated policy the FED intends to create inflation of at least 2% and probably higher in many instances and sectors of the economy.  Generally BTC is not going to suffer especially harsh or 'hard' money environment but this is long term and certainly rising rates creates concern short term.
2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 23, 2022, 10:55:30 PM
Start off with a game of Plinko which is really just an ancient maths problem and relates to a standard equation you can program probably quite easily.   Everyone recognizes the game and can gamble right away, after you establish the basics of the site it allows you to build it up into something more diverse but basically gambling is very distributive and progressive I think

Companies holding a speculative asset in their balance sheet will be forced to sell if the asset is not bringing profit for their monthly income statement.

Right on the money, I felt this from the moment Musk the meme master first announced his holding.  Can you see the parallel to his current waste of time with Twitter, what does he really need it for and whats his plans personally.  I never heard what is his use for BTC intended as, how does this help Tesla and I was waiting for the genius answer before I really took it as much positive but sure markets loved the hype for a moment.

Its not just Tesla or Elon Musk, every company not using money, currency, capital on its balance sheet is pretty much obliged to return that free cash flow to its share holders.  Tesla doesn't generally give this kind of active return because they are supposed to be high growth, high investment but its still generally true he cant leave it there doing nothing so its gone.   This is no reflection of BTC imo, any more then you have to stop using twitter if its useful to you.
2749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekly average rising is meeting 50 day average dropping. on: July 23, 2022, 09:56:11 PM
Basically we're in a pullback of the recent positive action and how far that pullback can go is something to watch.  Ideally we dont want it to continue too far because they we will have negated the overall idea of a recovery in BTC.   For the moment in a larger picture all we did was meet the 50 day average and follow its negative decline and this reflects the prior negative action this year, this is ok and to be expected.
I do hope we can start to see something positive occurring before or around 22k and that will give hope of returning back nearer to 30k.   What will disappoint many is we are slower then they hoped, what they are used to in a BTC bull market.   We can rise even without the hype, its still valid but more different to stay positive both price and personally Smiley

Seems a viable idea but the biggest thing that comes to mind when thinking of referrals is the long term aspect.  If referrals are going via this website even with some boost to earnings, the risk would be in those referrals handled long term and the viability and continuation of the website.  People have to weigh the added bonus vs the possible risk of this website over many years which referral revenue can exist for in the luckiest cases though I realize most referral is not quite that perfect scenario.
2751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of Tesla bitcoin sale not significant on: July 23, 2022, 09:11:16 PM
The news is retrospect and probably better explains what had already happened with exceptional BTC weakness in the months prior.  Companies dont usually dispose of shares or fungible assets all in one go, its dispersed with a strategy to follow current market pricing often a volume weighted measurement such as VWAP indicator sometimes available on various chart data providers.

It was significant perhaps but not ongoing as an effect which is what will matter more for prices this year.  People sell all the time, it happens but to me BTC is about being used and also the billions of people who may find utility with this 'tool' ie. usage >

Zero would be a valid number like any other in a computer program, not sure what laws of maths says but unsurprised it appears in the game though 'rare' perhaps

Anyone placing bets on bitcoin or ethereum price prediction this month ?
I am going in for ETH price bet as the returns are quite delicious.
But at the same time the market is highly volatile and it's tough to predict whether to go bullish or bearish for the price prediction.

ETH is more volatile and its reliant on BTC pretty much anyway.  ETH has events upcoming which could complicate it, seems too much random to me.  I have one simple idea, BTC breaks out and I get a nice odds return from that.   Vice versa we can also move down alot unexpectedly but thats all we expect recently and I think its over done, we might get a new low eventually but in these few days left I think probably not.
2753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Mt. Gox coins affect Bitcoin’s price in August? on: July 22, 2022, 11:59:47 PM
Quote
Usually rumours about Mt Gox have adversely affected the market, but these are just rumours

This should be underlined, the known supply of Mt. Gox coins already will be having an effect on prices even before they are 'physically' exchanged into the order books.    Theres some magnetic forces in price vs news and rumor of future action is acknowledged to have an effect, to the extent that many believe you should then immediately reverse course at the point of the news occurring.  So the day Gox coins are known to appear and some sold, ironically we see then will have some bullish effect.
Its very confusing, similar has been said of Tesla or Elon Musk selling a large amount of what he previously picked up in the bull run of 2021 (for a rich 'self-made' man he is fickle for sure), 75% of its gone so its been noted this reinforces a possible concrete low for BTC.   We dont know the low is good but the 'negative' news and the fact its now in the past, this is totally a reasonable positive to appreciate with going forward.
2754  Economy / Gambling / Re: I feel I being cheated by Primedice Affiliate and Support is like bots no help. on: July 22, 2022, 11:47:47 PM
Best way to test this is with a personal friend using your referral and notifying you every time with clear evidence of every action, deposit, gamble and so on.     I didnt see it mentioned but people can be erratic and gambling sites do get used like a bank or place to leave a balance for safety or just convenience.    To be sure it would need to confirm if this person has only deposited and not touched any of it because I find that quite possible from all the users and different sites Ive known over the years.   I realize the various rules, etc. but its possible this person is occupied with other matters in life not actively gambling right now so I think it best to test out exactly what occurs and keep your evidence etc.
2755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back above $22K realized price on: July 22, 2022, 11:07:31 PM
Useful perspective to have, I think we are more similar to 2015 or where the price action drags on in some negative fashion for an extended period of time.  Multiple challenges, ironically because FIAT is pressured.   Market is trying to challenge higher prices but its not making great progress immediately, I believe longer term it remains negative looking.
Short term however we do appear to retain a higher low price and can build on that to gain more in future.     We need to end this week and weekly bar above 24k to call a good positively  trending market.  If we lose 22k on a daily bar say, consider we have failed on a short term basis and most likely suffer a further reset.

Funny thing is around 2012 I was impressed or somehow had my view changed by the endurance of BTC at that time.   I knew about it before then but had been too dismissive despite being involved in other ways but maybe the fight in the price and details now does similar so BTC gains further appreciation from parts of the global population who had previously been dismissive.

This is about the hundredth time someone has posted something similar on this thread.    Reread all the rules about abuse of the free faucet and referral program and what is allowed or not, that'd be my unfortunate guess on what your predicament might easily be.  Hopefully any doubts you may have will be resolved for you but if your actions didnt follow the rules thats probably what occurred same as every similar post on this issue.    The website cannot continue to operate if the referral program or faucet is taken advantage of on such a large website it would hemorrhage so I'm glad when they catch up with people tbh.
2757  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: July 22, 2022, 04:58:29 AM
It was never a good idea for Germany to rely on Russia for energy to this extent, current events emphasize that but it was true a year, a decade or twenty years ago that energy security is important to an economy and they simply acted poorly chasing prices.  Path of least resistance is often going to put a country down a drain, no special take on what is Russia doing now or next required to observe that  repeated effect.

the Saudis will increase their production to 13 million barrels per day by 2027

If prices remain elevated above 100 for many years it would be places like Venezuela or other challenging production that probably combats the highest prices from occurring.  Venezuela  has larger reserves of oil then Saudi Arabia but SA has the cheapest production where as we know Venezuela is another car crash government failed economy, I'd hope they can turn that around.  Similarly Nigeria, Libya or other challenging areas like parts of Canada would lead to higher production I would expect higher commodity prices promote  greater production for oil, wheat or anything but the short term shock effect especially where we had poor planning is unfortunate.

2758  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: July 22, 2022, 04:33:21 AM
Experience is most important, I wouldnt recommend a high bet on a place you've only just registered just build up your experience and usage over time.   Either they are regularly reliable and accurate in reflecting game results or you gradually encounter problems which should have you moving on to try elsewhere.   Has to be a two way thing, dont ignore problems especially if you receive no help in resolving a problem but most long term operations respect they wont succeed unless their users are happy and helped with any issues.
2759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: July 21, 2022, 01:37:03 AM
Bitcoin was built to retain its value
Fiat was built to be abused and inflate

Bitcoin isn't going to go down to the 1k levels. Most financial analysts have no clue on crypto. Usually they give a low figure because they don't want it to succeed...

Politics has eclipsed Economics basically, down to the point its now taught as a branch of government rather then reflecting capitalism or free markets.   Till the world wakes up from that delusion paper money will continue to be unreliable and serve deficit spending by overly large government GDP influences in the economy.   1k is unlikely because deflation is unlikely longer term, Dollar is spiking because YEN and EURO has lost so much.   I dont think Dollar continually gains and these two components continually lose more then Dollar.
We could have an event where YEN is especially unable to service its debt but I dont know that happens immediately and also the bank of Japan holds 1 trillion of US treasuries.  I presume they must sell that asset in any greater weakness.
2760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 30k Range again on: July 21, 2022, 12:38:41 AM
This is just a short term speculation, it is possible that if bitcoin price rise to $28000 or $30000, there could still be selling pressure
OP looking like crypto savant in prospect right now.   If we can break this area where 200 week resides it seems fair we do move far closer to 30k but I think 27k is an obvious area where we first encounter some selling and prior holders who now wish to hold into the recovery as prior volume often represents.   We move sideways in this area quite recently but up until then its clearer, for the moment its not yet clear we are clear of the 23k area and its pulling back slightly imo remains in a bullish pattern
