2742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think BTC will hit $200? on: August 15, 2013, 06:33:19 PM
Given enough time, I am sure Bitcoin will hit $200 again. The big question is when, and how far will it go.
It would appear Bitcoin is going to have a long future, as more people come aboard it becomes more solidified.

but now as congress order FBI check all in bitcoins so may be its collapse before reaching 200$

i think mining is best left to the specialists, those with the money and hardware to run machines that spit out gigahashes per second instead of regular machines pumping out at most a megahash per second.

all the money right now for those without the bankroll to fund a mining operation is in trading/holding right now.

my 2 cents

Mining was never the game of specialists. If you see the history of BTC those people earned more money who picked it up at the start. In the beginning people mined BTC with just CPUs. When They earned money they started to buy more machines and grew bigger and bigger. Now you know them as specialists.

Still you can mine many new coins with CPU but it is not a guarantee that every new coin will be successful. There is another problem that some big miner also mine alts as BTC is no more profitable to mine perday. The people who are come in with the thinking of perday earning they are just wasting time and money. Best thing now is to buy a one card setup and mine the coins you think have the best developers support. And keep the coin for months. I am doing the same and happy with that. To be honest I also started as a perday miner but soon found out that this is not how cryptos work and changed my strategy.

now I understand this truth that listen to all and do just as it you want now I must try this mining once and as I have funds then I will send you message and start this once and check what the hell is this thanks for your positive reply and favors all time just want to ask you in which country in Pakistan or outside Pakistan thanks again for all

is mining btc today with your set up profitable? now that asics have hit the market, shouldn't there be some available in pk?

Even with Asics BTC is not profitable you can never breakeven the hardware costs. So the better option is to buy a GPU and mine alts.

which alt coins are you mining? i've tried my hand at ltc but my hardware wasn't quite up to spec... was only getting 12Kh/s cpu mining Smiley

CPU mining is obsolete now. You can't have any profit in any coin. I am mining with an AMD Radeon 7950 it produces 550kh/s. I mostly Mine PXC with it. But some times I mine a coin which hasn't yet hit an exchange to get more profit from it. Then I sell that coin and buy PXC with it. I am mining for long term. Smiley

what is you thoughts about mining in any system is this good profitable or just taking too much time I have some discussion with few friends and they all talking about this its now not too much profitable in any case so please tell what your thoughts about these all in general

2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks ( RECORD 143-64-16) on: August 15, 2013, 03:12:49 PM
Eh, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

The Yankees could win 4-0 today and both bets fail.  Don't get too greedy with the parlays.  I usually do one of them a day for $1 or $2 just for fun.  Sometimes it pays out quite nicely like last week when I hit on a 4-team and a 7-team back-to-back. However, I fully expect to lose my next 40 parlays to make up for that haha

Good luck to everyone!

Also, sorry if I am jacking your thread, stayeduptolate... just seems like this has been a free-for-all the last few pages.  I'm definitely too lazy to make my own thread and keep it updated and I appreciate all of the picks and sports conversations Smiley

you are right some time we won some time lost and never be greedy now I can understand after losing many bucks

2756  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: How many of you Bears have ever been a victim of a Short Squeeze? on: August 15, 2013, 01:56:31 PM
There's not enough benefit in this. Most short sellers were shorting since long ago. The recent crash only induced more long positions
2757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FBI is after bitcoin? Good! on: August 15, 2013, 01:46:28 PM
The war on Bitcoin will do to the Bitcoin price what the War on drugs has done to the price of drugs.
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks ( RECORD 143-64-16) on: August 15, 2013, 01:39:38 PM
Only one two picks for today:
LAA Angels ML +103
LAA Angels v New York 8.5 -105

Soriano has had 13 RBIs in the past two days.  I'm thinking that ends today.  Actually... I think the over 8.5 bet is good, too.

35 total runs scored in the last two games of this series!

I have your tips yesterday and all good but u can say its my greediness or immaturity that I mix them with soccer and play  parlays so all lost now just following your tips and want to check my luck in the betting field
2759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need a loan! on: August 15, 2013, 01:33:26 PM
Hey, so I have been trying to find a bitcoin loan site, but I don't quite trust any. Due to this being actual people, I can trust this site a bit more than other websites. I'm asking for a bitcoin loan to be a truly 90% bitcoin based bakery. I have also read I can only post in the newbie section, so if you don't trust me, then don't trust me. Thanks for your understanding!

Today I am asking for a 7 year loan of BTC5,200 with 7% interest. I am an independent aspiring business owner in Los Angeles in need of a loan. I am making a BTC/USD bakery and I'm in need of a property and supplies. In exchange for the loan you will get 20% of all profit. I will also  be selling online, I am currently working on a website and I also need to buy a domain. For you who wonder why I chose the Bitcoin Talk Forums, I need a bitcoin loan, and you seem like a trustworthy group of people! Any donators will be asked to be put in all company events, and honored for their amazing donation! If you are a group and willing to fund me, please contact and I will give your group a 25% stake. If you are interested in helping, please PM me.

Thank you.

Are you serious or joking, first post, asking for a loan of 5 200 btc, around 546 000 USD ?
A 7 year period by the way, then the best option is probably not a Bitocoin loan, as btc price may be something completely different by then. Also you mention 7% interest and 7 years, but also 20% of the profit then you may end up with something totally different than a 7 year loan.
You should probably try your local banks instead if your serious and provide them way more info than you present here...
Alright, you may be right, as with the others telling to stick with the banks. It is a bit much of both a time period for bitcoin and money to be asking.

you can check the coinlender.com or if you want some more information then click this link and have some information from this forum  http://coinchat.org/r:qlinkseo
