And for your 0.4 BTC, I don't think that you need to convert it to altcoins.

I don't think he plans to sell his Bitcoins. Rather, just put more funds into alts.
2742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Chia mining on: June 14, 2021, 02:59:53 AM
yes i am calculating the cost to invest in a new effective chia mining rig, but currently the new chia mining is in the early stages and there are still many problems, so i am still waiting for the opportunity in the near future .

Same, hope there would be farming pools in the future.

Imagine farming with a non-industrial grade hard disk and it dies after getting some Chia.
2743  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy enhancing strategy on centralized exchanges possible? on: June 13, 2021, 02:50:36 PM

I don't think they have anything in their ToS against gambling sites but you may want to check it yourself and not take any risks even if they didn't.
Also it may depend on the gambling site that was used to acquire that address. You see the blockchain analysis has never been accurate and some transactions can easily fall through, sometimes the gambling site being not that popular also makes it easier to go unnoticed.

Never seen any complaints, but if Binance is against Wasabi as a mixer then it kinda sends mixed signals.

Speaking of gambling, I googled and apparently BPlay casino is somewhat officially partnered with, or part of Binance. Nani?
https://www.bplay.org/

EDIT: I checked the mobile app and it seems you could deposit with it too.
2744  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 13, 2021, 02:38:38 PM

Today got 500 Satoshi from WoF, I would prefer to get satoshi or RP than Lottery ticket.
Turns out if have more than one WoF spin and choose to play all of them players can't see the wheels spin, only see the results right away.

Same. Even if you win 5,000 lottery tickets, the others are earning much more so the chances are in fact even worse Grin

Congrats on your win. I think you have received this couple of times recently so that's really nice to win it. Awaiting to win the 5000sats as a reward or  something bigger will also be a great thing to win as being a long time not seen any such win on the spin.

Thanks, I think this is my second time.

Don't forget to take advantage of the 10 free spins whenever they come by. You might be next, who knows Smiley

2745  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: June 13, 2021, 01:07:55 PM

May I ask which things you took into account when deciding these faucets are the best? Is it the amount of money given, the amount of wait time between the claims, or perhaps something else as well? Or does a casino get on the list if it's reputable, and it has a faucet, no matter what the specifics are?

There are no best among the best, but what he takes into account are how much you get per claim per interval + are newbies allowed to claim. As well as discussion threads + any scam reports. If you noticed, all of them have dedicated discussion threads Smiley
2746  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits Self Exclusion NOT Honored on: June 13, 2021, 08:25:38 AM

Self exclusion wont be effective. His story shows that he is an addited gambler, he wont be able to stop his addiction even if there is a self exclusion in the casino where he play. The key to solve his issue is himself, he should learn and try to control himself.

Exactly. You can't blame casinos for your own addiction. Just like fast food restaurants, no one forces you or me to eat over there.
2747  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits Self Exclusion NOT Honored on: June 13, 2021, 07:39:56 AM

It's the fastest way but I don't know if there's a most appropriate method to deal with these gambling addicts. Delete account would also be nice but that doesn't prevent them from creating another account. Blocking IP address is also an option but there's VPN. Casinos can also block withdrawal and withhold the funds for months but they will most likely receive plenty of scam accusations.

There's no foolproof way. Gambling addicts can always move elsewhere to (un)licensed casinos and just gamble away. One site can resort to banning but that's pretty much that.

None will go as far as to instruct the other casinos to blacklist them because that's not how their industry works and logically everybody's got to eat.

Is it practical to let a user choose between the USD and EUR balance? You always have to deal with price rises and falls, which could turn out to be a disadvantage for a customer. I've never seen that in a sportsbook before. Maybe it's better to just use 1 currency, which the user can choose and then don't let it change. I think there will be some confusion otherwise.

ya.ya.yo!

Some are more accustomed to USD, some EUR so it's always nice to have something extra. While the wagers are in crypto, the values are easier to remember in fiat.
2749  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: June 13, 2021, 07:19:49 AM
You can add bc.game has a wheel with spins every 24 hours, its prizes range from 1 unit of various tokens up to 50 Doge and a maximum prize of 1 btc.

XLM:11 - TRTL3:2001 - TRX3:11 - TRX:50 - Doge3:501 - DOT:0.3 - JB3:10,0001(2) - BTC:1 - XRP:51
XRP:200 - ETH:0.15 - LINK:0.4 - ENJ:70 - btc:0.002 - ETH:0.02 - USDT:25
Source: bc.game

[1] I have won more than once.
[2] Utility token, used to play freemoney, it also serves to improve rakeback and use for fees in advanced vip levels. It has come out at least 100 times (JB:+1,000,000)
[3] I have won this token more than three times.

On the other hand they are not considered faucets but if you get a "free" cryptocurrency they should be, I have around +1000 uBCH and some freeroll satoshis in SWC, I have read from other sites that offer freeroll and you get cryptocurrencies but as I have never played us I do not name them, without a doubt they are the free crypto that were obtained out there that have to be worked the most, it is not as simple as a click.

Dang, you're so lucky to win anything other than JB. All the while I've won is just that

2751  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 08-June-21] on: June 13, 2021, 02:29:38 AM
I wonder if its normal to keep 1xbit signature in this list...every one get accepted in this compaign get a red trust and the reason is that the website is a known scam website...i want to hear your opinions about that

As long as it pays or its paying, it qualifies.

But then as shown on the table, its marked that there are ongoing issues so participants join at their risk because ita accused of scamming.

Up to them if they want to heed the warnings or not.
2752  Other / Meta / Re: RECOMMENDATION FOR GENERATING FUNDS on: June 12, 2021, 01:50:22 PM
Dude, charging to use the forum is one of the worst monetization ideas I've ever come across.
Exactly, users are going to drop down and it will defeat the purpose of a forum, because in definition, everyone should be able to join in a discussion. Good thing that OP is just a newbie because that kind of greedy and cancerous behavior shouldn't continue to exist.

Worry not, this thread can be put to rest as he's been banned with multiple alt accounts + plagiarism 😂
2753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy enhancing strategy on centralized exchanges possible? on: June 12, 2021, 12:48:24 PM
I agree, however there are few exchange known for monitoring withdrawn Bitcoin. One example is Binance which threaten to close user account if they keep use Wasabi Wallet.

Strangely they don't do the same for gambling addresses?
2754  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: June 12, 2021, 12:06:19 PM
If the site requires a fresh account to reach 10,000 points by wagering around $6, I can no longer consider it free coins or a free crypto faucet. Because of that, I wont add the site to my table. Had it not been for that requirement, it would have found its way to the OP.

Even Wolf.bet has an untraditional rewards-like system where you have to come back every day (for 7 days) to unlock all rewards. However, it's still free, and all they ask of the player is to enable 2FA.

Yup, it's a great site if you manage to look past the Lv1 thingy though Grin
2755  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits Self Exclusion NOT Honored on: June 12, 2021, 10:39:36 AM

Lets assume that Duelbits banned Him from depositing and playing but how sure we are that he will not just go online in other sites , Make a deposit and play?

Though I must admit that if Duelbit only banned him then for sure this thread will not exist but also there is one thing that sure to happen , he will still play because he can't control himself.

Then Duelbits is no longer responsible if he decides to gamble elsewhere. The point of self-exclusion is to control oneself but if the willpower is weak, then whatever measures out there won't stop him.
2756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 12, 2021, 10:30:21 AM

Interesting.

The southern countries are going full Sparta on the Dollar of the north. Maybe China, Iran and Russia will join this rebellion against the dollar in the future too. Nobody really likes the dollar other than the Americans (probably many Americans don't like it neither)  and yet everybody still uses it. Apparently that's a contradiction which must stop.

It's like everyone else is adopting the "wait-and-see" approach before El Salvador went in with guns blazing. Grin

For those superpowers, it might take a while; China plans its digital Yuan while many other China-based cryptos (VET for instance) have been complying with the government regulations.
2757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 12, 2021, 09:58:18 AM

Triggered?

Are there any news which I am not aware of? Which countries exactly are considering doing the same thing? Do you have a source? If that's true, that is big news. In other words, big if true.

Well, they are speculated to be mainly American (South/ Central) territories according to this article.

Quote
It is understood that at least four more countries are now preparing paperwork that will set the wheels in motion to deliver the vote to their respective parliaments. And, according to global financial expert Paul Murillo, one of them could be in a position to make the move in the next few months.

“Several countries have been making noises about the possibility of making Bitcoin mainstream within their financial systems, but El Salvador’s government has been the only one to just simply get on with it – until now,” he said.

2758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits Self Exclusion NOT Honored on: June 12, 2021, 09:49:16 AM
I find this self-exclusion stuff hilarious to be honest. Why should gambling sites even provide such options when it's easy to do it on your own in the first place?

If you are a gambling addict, there are far better ways to try and control your addiction instead of depending on sites themselves to help you out.

Do stores provide an option to not sell cigarettes to help a chain-smoker control his/her addiction? They don't because it's not their responsibility. Same applies to gambling sites in this aspect.

It's just part of the "Gamble Responsibly" cause.

I mean casinos can do so much, but at least they do their best to give players to option to pull the brakes, hence the self-exclusion.

Yes, we can question the point when players are likely to lose, but the responsibility shifts from the site to the player if they are unable to curb the desires.

Some players are reckless, but there are "smart" ones that will quickly freeze their accounts to avoid succumbing to another episode of addiction for the time being. I've seen players complaining about not being able to claim rewards or participate in events due to that, but at least the feature works to some extent.

The casino could always respond that the button is there for a reason, and it's not their fault if players don't utilize it and proceed to go broke in the end.

On the one I frequent on, they offer this on every profile, reachable in just two clicks. No need to contact Support and wait for them to respond.
2759  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: June 12, 2021, 08:41:49 AM
UPDATE:

- I added Tower.bet and Wolf.bet to the table in OP.
- I took a look at Bitdouble.io, but I wasn't able to claim the faucet. Clicking on the "claim free coins" button didn't work. Does it work for you guys?
- I checked out the daily rewards on CSGO500/500Play, but I couldn't claim the daily rewards there either. I am getting a message that I need to reach Level 1 to claim the rewards. It seems it's not possible to claim for new account holders. @UserU what are the requirements to reach Level 1?

Looks like they have changed the criteria to combat the multi-account farming abuse. Last time new accounts could actually claim the rewards.

To reach level 1, attaining 10,000 XP (~$6 in wagering BUX) is required.

If you don't feel comfortable adding it to the list, it's totally fine. Just that the site works differently in such that the "faucet" allows you to accumulate the rewards, provided you wager accordingly.

I don’t notice it every time I spin from premium.  I'll take a good look tomorrow.  After you play all the spins, a table of your winnings such as BTC, RP, or tickets appears immediately.

As for referrals, you can only see their bitcoin wallet address.  Even email does not exist, so there is no way for us to have communication with them unless you really know him personally or virtually that you have invited to be a member of this site and have contacted so such as socmed accounts that also cannot be linked in our accounts here.

I noticed that too. Perhaps those prizes are displayed in some popup or overlay as they're incredibly hard to get anyway.
