-.- I already read that and I can't seem to find the answer to my question in that post of yours. If you're referring to this as the answer, "When distribution halves, and even more when distribution is over, supply will be much lower, and demand will be higher." well, how can you be so sure that the demand will be higher? because I don't find any valid reason to buy that coin when the distribution is over. Of course I can't be 100% sure. Why do people buy Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Blackcoin or any other? Basically speculation and acceptance. And supply and demand rule that. The same applies here, with a much lower supply when distribution is over and at least the same demand (probably much more).

Don't forget these basic tips: https://forum.captcoin.com/index.php/topic,34.0.htmlGet the most out of CAPTcoin!Did you know 1 Bitcoin was worth less than US$9 two years ago and it reached US$1,200? Did you know 1 Litecoin was worth less than US$1 two years ago and it reached US$60?Do you want to sell your CAPTcoin at 0.00001000 or at 0.05 BTC? Or even better, spend it rather than sell it? You choose: Here are some tips to earn more from CAPTcoin 1) The Basics: Tips everyone should follow Earn interest: Get coins soon, sell late: | As you may know, anyone can claim CAPTcoins here: http://get.captcoin.com/ The amount of CAPT you get depends on the time.
During the first 10 days, the reward is one full CAPTcoin. It will be halved to 0.5, then again to 0.25. Finally, after 50 days, the reward will completely stop.
This will produce a big deflation (i.e.: the price of CAPTcoin will rise).
To take advantage of this, get your coins as soon as possible and hold them. They will be much more valuable after the reward halves, and even more when distribution is over.
Do not sell your coins immediately. You'll regret later. | Let other people know about CAPTcoin: | The more people know about this revolution, the more valuable every coin will be.
Share the news on Facebook, Twitter and any other networks. | Contact crypto services:Contact any provider of crypto services (such as exchanges, games, and more) and ask them to add CAPTcoin. If they realize how big CAPTcoin is, they will add it to their services and make it even better. Here's a list to start with: Twitter: @CoinedUp, @BittrexExchange, @coins_e, @All_Crypt, @cryptsyWeb sites: If you find any website that accepts Bitcoin or any other crypto-currency, don't hesitate to ask them to accept CAPTcoin. Feel free to add new sites on your comments, and make sure to contact them! 2) Advanced: For PRO usersIf you're willing to invest some fraction of Bitcoin and do some work... Buy low, sell high:(The advanced version of "Get coins soon, sell late") Some people will keep selling CAPTcoins for very cheap! This is your opportunity to buy those cheap coins and sell later at a much higher price. To do so, create an account at CoinSwap and start buying. After the reward halves, or even better, after the distribution ends, you'll be able to sell for much more. @EseQueL Read a similar question and my post on the previous page.

If you haven't staked yet, just make sure your wallet is unlocked and online. It depends on the luck.
finally a few hours after my last post, one of my unspent staked and rewarded +0.064931 and what a luck, by looking at the logfile... it staked & got 2 confirms before my connection died (I was asleep) and as usual I always have stupid question with bitcoin I understand that included fee goes to miner, for example a quick look at Bitcoin Block #315581 No Inputs (Newly Generated Coins) 1CjPR7Z5ZSyWk6WtXvSFgkptmpoi4UM9BC (ghash.io ) - (Unspent) 25.12055801 BTC the 0.12055801 should be the total all fees included in that block, that goes to a miner so with PoS system... when we include transaction fee, who gets it? is the coin gets destroyed or goes to whoever included the transaction the first time in a block? because I don't see it explicitly being added to an address for example CAPTcoin block #77646 includes a transaction with a fee of 0.00001 CAPT No Inputs (Newly Generated Coins) 0 CAPT (U) The fees go to the address that staked the block which included the transaction that paid the fee (that sentence was too long hehe). But it's counted as part of the 30% yearly interest.

thank you EcuaMobi... i got enough captcoin from your captcha.. but... after 50days is it could be mine?? I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. Distribution will be over and you won't be able to get any more coins by solving captchas. However, you'll be able to stake and earn interests. Also, you'll be able to buy coins or sell products and services for CAPTcoins. oh, sorry... my english is bad... xD without diminish respect of your coin how can the price of captcoin raise? at one side there is a supply and other side there is a demand .. so why people want to buy captcoin? if the reason is rare, i don't think the price will raise... it's just my opinion... As I've said before, it's not my coin. It's ours. Its price will rise because it's the best distributed PoS coin, it's extremely popular, it's very limited and most people appreciate it because it takes time and effort to claim. Those who don't appreciate it/their time are selling it now but they will soon run out of coins. When that happens, all the coins will be in the hands of people who do realize how valuable it is. When distribution halves, and even more when distribution is over, supply will be much lower, and demand will be higher.

How can I tell if the qt client is actually staking my coins? I'm pretty sure my coins are old enough (more than 8hrs) if you asked. under Balance there is Stake: 0.00 CAPT if this Stake has some numbers that means it's waiting to mature right? Mines needed about 3 days to start stacking I just recently emailed Justcoin asking them if they are interested in adding Captcoin to there platform, but here is there reply. maybe they are too busy with there new Platform which is Stellar.. by the way is it just me thinking that Captcoins are going to be so rare in the future? I'm going to send a mail too asking about include captcoin , maybe if we send enough They will considerer use it. I'm gonna send them e-mail too, maybe they change their opinion Of course sending that mail doesn't hurt. But I think we must focus our efforts on only a few things. IMO priorities are:

Yes, stake is the amount waiting to mature. After it matured, it will pass to balance again. Why is my stake showing 0 CAPT and I had coins in my wallet for over a week now?
A 'Stake' of 0 only means that nothing is pending. Your stake is the part of your balance that you can't spend yet because it has just staked. It doesn't mean that your wallet hasn't ever staked (it doesn't mean it has either, though). As Kebooz said: in 'Transactions', in the second column, you can filter to see only 'Mined'. There you can check if you've staked. Have you? If not: Is your wallet unlocked (or not encrypted at all) and has it been online? If you haven't staked yet, just make sure your wallet is unlocked and online. It depends on the luck.

If anyone is thinking about using AltDice.net for betting purposes, DON'T DO IT. The site was working for a while (I won 142 coins through them) but they've turned into a scam. Money sent to any of their addresses is no longer paid back if you win.
That's really unfortunate Dev should remove it from the front post. Is this confirmed? A delay in the payment or a bug in the code doesn't always mean scam. I guess you've contacted the owner?

@EcuaMobi I have a question regarding payouts, what is the cut-off time you set to include all the claims to be paid? If I'm not mistaken, your last payout (not the one above) was around 3pm UTC and I did some claims about 1-2hrs before that but I don't see my claims included in those payouts, though it's included in the payout you just posted above and another question about blockchain, last time you told me it's around 180MB (when the height was 65k+) which one is the actual blockchain on my harddrive? (I presume it's one of the files in %AppData%/CAPTCoin folder) because my client showed it's up to block 53k of 72k+, but I don't see any files over or close to 100MB what I see are these two: blk0001.dat ~31MB & blkindex.dat ~37MB and is it correct if assume that the when you said 180MB, the data transfer would be much higher than that? because my stat show data transfer way over the size of those 2 files combined. Transactions are automatically generated exactly at 2:03 am and 2:03 pm UTC. So it doesn't matter if I manually execute the transactions at 2:04 am or at 4:30 am, it will only include claims until 2:02:59 am. Regarding the other question, those 180MB are the sum of all those files together. You won't find a single file that big. However the network usage is more than that. That's because a lot of data is sent and received. Those files are not directly downloaded but created in your computer from that data. The main reason is that because the system is not centralized, the wallet can't trust a single resource. It has to download some information several times to verify.
