I have learned two best things from crypto.
1: Never create a sell limit order where a flick could exercise it. (Lost heavily).
2: Never make a move based on the news. (Heavy loss). Too few big whales left in exchanges that can easily manipulate the market using a lot less funds.
Most of my movement from based on the news if I'm trading altcoins for short term, I did it on mostly altcoins because they easily increase and decrease in price rather than top coins. But keep in mind that what I do is really high risk so whenever I trade short term for altcoins usually I used my cold money to trade to prevent any stress incoming due to loss. I think the best strategy that works in trading crypto currencies is to first choose the project that is fundamentally strong, its price has good history of volatility and project is progressing.The next important thing is your skills to read/understand technical charts of various Indicators and identify buy and sell signals and get them confirmed by another indicator. Third important thing is good knowledge of Money/Risk management which is also important to save your account from total loss. |
