2741  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first success story trading crypto on: April 17, 2021, 07:46:34 PM
Well I originally had a plan where I was going to save up 4,000.00 USD as "money that I would use to invest in crypto that is also money I can afford to lose". That way I can invest in a big way and it's not the end of the world for me if I fail and lose it all.
I am not you though, but if am to be mathematical and logical about this I would say any money you can afford to loose should not be one that you should be keeping-up in a safe for, and if you think that money when invested in crypto is seen to you as a Big money, then its far-away from what you can afford to loose.

I haven't read to the end but if your title is right then you must have had success in investing, and congratulations on that but, I think for -Newbies- thinking with this they can borrow up money or Empty their saving, it might not go successful and the loss might be depressing, so afford to invest what you won't be let's moneyless if it crashes.
2742  Other / Beginners & Help / Crypto for the young! Crypto for the old! on: April 17, 2021, 03:06:42 PM
Long before now the ladder of wealth was always a matter of time, and this time in the life of human is regarded as age (to be guided I believe in growing process), the placement of amount of wealth/financial success to the number of ones age, became generally accepted, and there by it created decadence in the society such as.
+ Laziness, excuses, Laxity, unproductiveness, crimes, and many more, the youth wasn't seen as to be able to make money, in my country now there are times the security agency will stop a successful youth and label the youth as a criminal just because of their success.

     Crypto-currency is wiping that off
The dawn of the opportunity from crypto-currency, has become recognized by the young and old, their are several things I would be grateful to crypto-currency for especially in my country and the world

+ Productivity: crypto-currency has increased our productivity regardless of age, sex, colour and more, you can search about successful crypto-currency enthusiast and you will find so many young people on the list, the success of a young man, gives another young man more reason to be productive than that of the success of maybe an older man.

+ Learning zeal: crypto-currency can make someone successful an all that, but finding how crypto-currency can be able to make any one successful there should be learning, people are active now search out those information here, YouTube, books, and more that they can apply to make them selves successful in crypto, and also be safe doing it. Good thing here is learning is possessive, which can mean a good number of young and old learning more every time.

+Crime and decadence reduction: many times youth chasing success face the problem of time and age, the more self dependent ones or the one that just want to have more than what is offered to them by their parents or guide, gets into crimes for success, more famously cyber crimes, crypto-currency interest and opportunity has been able to reduce that, more youth are shifting into it by the way of investment or trading.

Note: crime rate can not be at zero, and for -Newbies- there are those into crypto-currency for scamming purpose.

There has been impressive impact from crypto-currency, eliminating the stereotype to success and wealth, with crypto-currency, Forex, stocks, trading and investment the young, old has the opportunity to be successful.

As a beginner or looking back to your starting point what are the barriers crypto-currency broke for you?
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 17, 2021, 01:37:37 PM
Westham has opened an opportunity for Chelsea, but it was an action packed match and the two teams performed well, this win now puts Newcastle at 15th on the league table, for the meantime a comfortable place in the relegation Battle, and westham still remains at 4th on the league table which may only be for a while, with Chelsea needing a draw in their outstanding to displace them on goal difference,

I think if Westham gets down the top four on the table theyay not be able to get back in there, with how competitive it is now, I think it won't be disappointing if they make Europa league slot for English premier league teams.

2745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: April 16, 2021, 10:13:37 PM
Did anyone else miss out on the Dogecoin run?
This is up 100x over a year or two, and it is still going higher.
Wow.
$40 Billion marketcap now, how high can this go?
I missed out on this maybe because I haven't no knowledge about it since that long comparing how long I have been into crypto-currency, but I have a close friend that is kicking himself, well not that he didn't get dogecoin then but that he sold it off to burn the return of profit in the craziest of ways I would not go into details.

But at then he and many others thought yea this is the best the coin can do, I think dogecoin has gotten inducted in the league if coins that show-cases the benefits of holding a coin, we might have missed two years ago let's not miss the coming two years or more.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 16, 2021, 08:46:35 PM
There was someone saying it will be a draw game and so far the game is heading in that direction. Myself I predicted that it will be a tight game and Spurs will not win but after what I saw in the 1st half I think Everton might snatch the 3points tonight and still fighting for that Uefa Europa League spot and putting more pressure on both Liverpool and Spurs.
Looks so much like a draw, in the 83rd minutes and it seems anything trying to separate those two side is meet by a counter action, I think the are also for long been evenly matched, anytime they meet I just make a random pick to decide who wins even if a one is more in form than the other,

Although am ashamed of the position both team occupies now in the English premier league table, what hoping one or both should be atleast in the top for this season, but that's not what it is, a shared point today is fair for both teams.
2747  Economy / Economics / Re: Charlie Munger: "Bitcoin is an artificial substitute for Gold" on: April 16, 2021, 08:07:28 PM
I think bitcoin is a digital asset more than a gold in digital gorm, for instance
+ Gold biggest value is that of it's physical appearance, in time past it was kept solely for beautification and in possession of the very wealthy, who did not have any intention to sell, I think bitcoin isn't like that.
+ The rate of Gold increase and it's decrease is lesser than that of Bitcoin's increase and decrease.
Although I think if bitcoin was to be in physical form or appearance it should be in Gold form just to show it's worth and value.
2748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if Satoshi moves or sells his Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2021, 07:42:46 PM
Although it's far much to unlikely it will happen, Satoshi might move some Bitcoin to another wallet but not all, and is very reasonable to think that he can have some-so many hidden unknown to mass number of people.

If there is a sell-off of bitcoin from any known wallet of his and the amount sold are much I think even I will try to understand why that had happen, but still this is his property we talking about here, and he may be criticized though but as in his anonymous style may not be bothered.

Na http://bitrefill.com I dey use before ETH and recharge before the Ethereum fees come high like now. Anybody with  other options for tell us. Me sef wan know too.

The domain has been changed and updated. No longer accepting airtime recharge again I think
With waiting I don just research about the site (http://bitrefill.com), it even support more than ethereum, it support many other cryptocurrencies, and I think it still dey active.

I think the site make good sense because sey, if you wan buy recharge card, you go transfer the coin of interest from noncustodial wallet, and be credited if the transaction don successful. The amount to transfer and the address to transfer the coin will be generated, the QR code can also be used for the transfer.

Wetin be the security of the site, how safe are we, omo I no day reason all this site matter when I day reason cryptocurrency runs, especially wen the site never get levels, and even those way get levels them day fall hands, take for example PATRICIA this na reputable.

cryptocurrency company them even sponsor Big brother naija one certain time like that and them still go scam my guy of him Bitcoin, so I day careful with things like this,

but this no be to talk say na fake but I go just say make every body shine eye well.
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 15, 2021, 07:44:25 PM
I am not convinced in Arsenal this year and I think there is value in betting on Slavia Prague to qualify or some asian handicap on them and even if Slavia loses this match it will not be with more than one goal and draw is very possible.
Both teams are missing some players and Arsenal will be without important Aubameyang, Luiz, Odegaard and Tierney but Saka and Smith Rowe will be in starting eleven.
I am expecting Manchester to qualify much easier against Granada insecond match.
You wrongly judged Arsenal, they seem to be comfortable to night against slavia Prague, with a three goal gap and it's not half time yet, I think they have not been the optimal Arsenal this season especially in the English premier league, a win today and several loses to follow it has been a summary of their league performance, but in the Europa league there is this concentration in the team, and they are getting through with it, I think Arsenal would be at the final match of the tournament.
2751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 15, 2021, 07:25:55 AM
Great match yesterday, I think it all making sense now, the winner of PSG vs Manchester city to me are the most likely to win the UEFA champions league, although am not going to write-off Real Madrid and Chelsea, but PSG and Manchester city in history will be more hungry, they haven't had the feeling of what it's like to be champions, and They are playing very well, especially Foden which brings me to the hype on halland I think Foden is the most exciting player now of his age bracket and I would want to see him lift the UEFA champions league with Manchester city.
2752  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: escrow recommendation on: April 15, 2021, 07:15:27 AM
Personally I can suggest @Hhampuz, here is his portfolio:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5079097.0
But most of escrow providers in these list above is also very trusted and can be trusted with your money.
I think escrow services works for both parties, that's keeps the fosters the business relation and sees it to the end, so I think the OP is right trying to find an escrow but the other party he or she wants to get involved in a business with would also have to agree with the reputation and maybe the commission of the escrow before they can go ahead, I don't know their purpose but if it was in a purchase of crypto-currency then exchanges like binance peer2peer would be better. But regardless those escrows has good reputation in the business.

2754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 14, 2021, 10:52:55 AM
I just got to find out the importance of saving asset in bitcoin. As of last year October I just decided to split my savings into two and used half of it to buy bitcoin then took half to bank and deposited as fixed deposit which means I won't be taking the money for a period of time and bank will in return be giving me little percentage which I will take as profit, recently I tried comparing the profit I get from both bank and bitcoin, I found out the profit I got from bank is way low compared to what I got from bitcoin, then I decided to stop keeping my assets  in banks rather I keep it in bitcoin which later turns out to be an investment for me.
I have tried the bank fixed deposit and even left it for a long time, but the profits are very small, I don't know how the banking system works in your country, but mine I the only reason I would be keeping money in a fixed deposit account is only to prevent me from using it, as for the profits it's really nothing I can hope on, but with Bitcoin and as at now it different, and more flexible, it's saving and investment all in one, and profits are better-off than that of my area's banking system, but I would sound like a broken record to say it has disadvantages and one majorly is the price can propel up, or dip low.
2755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Cryptocurrency with visa and mastecard on: April 11, 2021, 08:47:22 PM
Coming legal legit.
So what's the next step once the cryptocurrency is legal?

It was actually legal in my country then some complication, still not clear the reason if it was a complete ban or temporary, but the only difference between the two times was the exchange conversion to Fiat -locally called naira- so I think but would still be the same just a bit more flexible when it crypto-currency is legal. Any other step may be from the government to find more crypto-currency friendly set ups.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 11, 2021, 08:41:07 PM
I really hope Man Utd can sustain this form till the end of the season, they might just win the league.
Wouldn't this be a sight? Although Manchester United impressed me today and has been impressive lately, I think it's medicine after death if they are hoping to get the league title of the firm grip of their neighbors Manchester city, I think second spot is an achievement they can expand on come next season.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 11, 2021, 08:34:04 PM
The atletico Madrid about entering concluding stages I think Real Madrid team and fans would be anticipating the final Whistle, I think atletico Madrid don't deserve the LaLiga title it's now between Real Madrid and Barcelona for the trophy and Real Madrid has a better advantage, the seem to have a more easier line up of games to come there way, Barcelona still have some hard games in there lineups of matches.
2758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mayor of miami sells his city as the world's crypto capital on: April 11, 2021, 08:27:07 PM
Firstly I want to know does he have the audacity to do such with the knowledge or permission of the Federal government, I don't know how this is done in the US but where am from, we really have a mayor, but in places where we do, his power are limited when it comes to making decisions as this, but on the other hand it's a victory for crypto-currency adoption.
2759  Economy / Speculation / Re: small price correction after this bullrun on: April 11, 2021, 08:18:32 PM
I think there has been price corrections even in the bull run, but it wasn't to challenge the present bull run I don't know when the bull run will come to an end but I am predicting that the price correction won't make the price significantly go low, not until we see a terrible turn of fortune and enter a bear run market.
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 11, 2021, 05:54:27 PM
I think Manchester United are a team of character, after akn opener I thought Tottenham was about to do a league double on Manchester United but the had a statement of their own to make, if I where to be a Manchester United fan I would say this is encouraging and a good turn of events for the next seasons premier league title Battle.
