When anon goes live, what are realistic price predictions? 5k? 10k?

No one knows, but...

DarkCoin went up from 0.67c to 10-15$

This a NAVAJO coin thread the technology is better the Darkcoin

Compare Darkcoin to XC

Great to see Bittrex is back and wallets fully functional

All my coins are at  Poloniex and we did suffer the same loss in Value as Bter and Bittrex

Poloniex is still locked down - NAV withdrawals and deposits are suspended due to a possible double spend on the chain. 18th July 10am Australia time
Hopefully they come back online soon. I want to stake Cool Cool Cool

- New wallet works perfect with New Blockchain - thanks

Dev quote
Positives -

NavajoCoin is the only coin that was brought back after a double spend attack without needing to go with a new coin and a swap and while all the same exchanges fully compensated.

Can someone with good understanding of PoS send me a private message? I have an issue and devs sleep now.

i found this

Proof-of-Stake Mining. In the truest sense of the word, this isn't actually “mining” per se, since there isn't any additional work required on the part of the investor. All you have to do to earn with this method is to hold coins in a given type of digital currency. Your earnings are based upon the number of coins, or “stake,” you hold. The more you invest, the more you are likely to earn. The advocates of this method like to point out that it provides for higher currency security, for those who invest more heavily are more likely inspired to see it succeed. This method is very rarely used alone, for it doesn't provide for any actual mining to take place.

The digital currencies who use the proof-of-stake method almost always use it in combination with proof-of-work mining. Otherwise, the temptation to invest heavily, but not take an active role in mining data blocks, could result in extremely slow mining. This in turn could result in longer transaction times and lower transaction security, neither of which are healthy for an alternative currency.

but im a newbie - hopefully someone corrects me

what this means to me is i move my NAV from the exchange and stake them in my NAV wallet - am i correct anyone

Hopefully someone private messages you

One of the key reasons that bitcoin has become a popular form of value, to the tune of $6bn, is that it has largely solved the double-spending problem that plagued other digital currencies before it.

Navajo Coin has solved this problem - http://www.coindesk.com/double-spending-unconfirmed-transactions-concern-bitcoin/

Scam DEV said there is still no anonymous testing time All this will end in a scam

you bored bro - read this and try it

http://www.btcfeed.net/coins/navajocoin-introducing-anon-transfers-using-subchains/

everypage has someone trying to put the dev down - haha he showed everyone he is a genus from downunder

now look at this a quote from Authur: ARGIN from http://www.btcfeed.net/

Hopefully NAV will keep rising after the 14th unless it pulls a Shieldcoin type move. The volume on NAV-BTC is also rising which is obviously a good sign. Keep an eye out for this coin because after all it has gone through a successful POW stage and made a smooth transition unlike Stealthcoin - which forked multiple times upon the arrival of the POS stage because the dev forgot to set seed nodes. Hopefully this time the dev did not copy paste code like Shieldcoin’s dev then NAV should reach lunar levels.

ALWAYS BACKUP wallet.dat and %appdata%Roaming\SummerCoinV2 first

Windows
1 . Download - https://www.dropbox.com/s/dti3rm8bg0jgzgu/NavajoCoinFixedPos%202.0.0.0%20Windows%20Wallet.zip

install windows wallet then close straight away.

2. Download - https://www.dropbox.com/s/sge9wu6nkuma78t/BlockChain.zip

go to run and type %appdata% open the Roaming folder and then SummerCoinV2 and copy the blockchain files into it.

Re-open navajocoin-qt.exe and there should be only 532 blocks to update. Which is quick

works perfect!

having the name "The Unbreakable Code" does set yourself up for a chanllege to the wider world.

Looks like the challange was taken up and 2 sucuessfull attacks where implemented on 2 separate exchanges.

Now the code and the legend needs to live up to its name in a new re-incarnation re- birth like the Indians of the NAVAJO .

Thats the challange of the NAVAJO now

2757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Navajo [NAV]- The Unbreakable Code [PoS/Anonymity/Privacy] on: July 16, 2014, 07:03:48 AM

The Navajo community really want and need these exchanges

Number 1 - priorty - Poloniex & Bittrex to open up there NAV withdrawals .

Number 2 - PR work

Number 3 - find the attacker and dont forget what they did

2758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Navajo [NAV]- The Unbreakable Code [PoS/Anonymity/Privacy] on: July 16, 2014, 04:21:12 AM
Also who is tracking down the person who did the 2 attacks on the Navajo coin NAV/BTC and how is this done

Will it be the

1.Navajo Development Team  - Wallet designer and coin developer

2.Bittrex , Bter and Poloniex where the coins can be traded via BTC

3.Law inforcement

or is the theft of roughly 1 million $12,500 of NAV at 0.002 the perfect crime committed as people did trade these out of the air coins.

Does law inforcement even get notified

Will traders who lost value in their trades be compensated in any maner by the above development team.

ok important questions

currently the NAV wallets are disabled on https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_nav
Announcements
NAV withdrawals and deposits are suspended due to a possible double spend on the chain.

Posted by busoni@poloniex at 2014-07-15 00:38:57

and

https://bittrex.com/Status Inactve   NAV   135822   16   0 minutes   07/14/2014 20:55:45

but trading continues on these sites with no movements of coins between exchanges and we cant move the NAV coins to our wallets .

Is the Navajo Development team in Discussion with the exchanges and whats the ETA for the wallets to be re-opened .

Is is 1 day 1 week or 1 month.

Also can you confirm if any new coins have been sent to bittrex and how since the wallets are closed down
