Maybe the government is not interested in helping citizens, but they should do that if they do not want to lose trust. But as @xSkylarx said, the government needs taxes from that industry, so they still let the business run. But the government also gives rules for the provider that if something happens to their citizens, at least, the provider will help them solve the problem.

Since when the government should prioritize those people who are dealing with gambling problems? That's another loadsh*t from them which in fact, people are the one who falls themselves on the problem. Let's disregard these tax-related things connecting to gambler's problem as it's just usual for the government to receive a tax for any business, whatever the genre or industry and that involves gambling.

As for that "new innovation" that is supposed to help a gambler, I doubt an addicted one will have an interest in using those trackers to monitor or limit their spendings.
2742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 10, 2021, 08:31:22 AM
Someone in that Nuggets team needs to step up his game or they will be doomed trying to reach a playoff spot. They are now at 7th seed and it's not safe there.

Agree with. Nikola Jokic is almost having the same journey now as Damian Lillard. They can literally carry a team but not enough providing the tough competition in the Western conference as they need someone to step up. Those talents are wasted for me if their respective franchise will do nothing in the long run.

Rumors about the possibility of trading Kemba Walker from New York to Denver Nuggets might now be on work. Kemba Walker is not on his usual average now which resulted in him being out of rotation in the New York Knicks but maybe he can give a little boost on the Denver Nuggets.
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: December 10, 2021, 08:19:50 AM

OP should now update the title thread to TBA. As far as reports are concerned, it will be 1Q next year*.

GGG expresses his disappointment on the postponement but understands that health concerns should always be a priority. Murata on the other hand, consider the fight with GGG will test his overall experience. The result will also determine his status in the middleweight division.

With what happened, both boxers now have more time to continue their training and be well-prepared more on the scheduled date.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 - December 18 on: December 08, 2021, 10:46:24 PM
So now they replace Furry with a fighter that has lost his last 4 fights.  Roll Eyes  ..Yes, he was won 19 fights and lost 7 fights, but he is definitely not in the prime of his career at 39 years.  Roll Eyes

In most cases, no boxer can accept the deal right away where the fight is just around a week to go left. Since Woodley likes to get revenge on his split decision loss, he grabs the opportunity in an instant. It's really annoying for others but no choice left but to just allow the event to push through.

They put Jake Paul against bad fighters on purpose to push his career and I think that is just stupid. I want to see him fight against some stronger fighters ...and I want them to go toe to toe till the end.  Angry

Don't worry. Jake Paul's reputation won't be changed even he will win continuously unless he will now fight a real professional boxer in their prime.
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Financial Guard Rail ? on: December 08, 2021, 10:41:40 PM

Even the whole concept and purpose are good, I think it violates the whole point of doing gambling and is against their freedom. Responsible gambling always starts with the gambler themselves and no need for such actions that will monitor them or control their activity.

Since it's a new innovation, I can't say if it will be successful or will yield a good result in the long run.

Let's allow first to make it happen in actual and wait for the results.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 08, 2021, 10:36:12 PM
AD as you said is so inefficient it's not funny. You touch him once, and his body crumbles. It's truly a shame as he has such talent.

That was the subject of discussion on some sports discussion communities and even the former NBA greats.

According to them, Anthony Davis seems not to be playing in his prime. Let's face the fact that he is no doubt a great addition to the Lakers and even help them to win the championship last NBA bubble but he should be the new face of the team instead of an aging LeBron James or the newly added stat-padding king as considered by others, Russell Westbrook.

My take on that topic is, just trust the process. Maybe others are just expecting too much for Anthony Davis to carry the Lakers. I really didn't expect and hope that when the Lakers landed him, he will be the main gunner of the team. We can also conclude that the glory days of big men dominating the league are nowhere to be found now. The main point of offense now is perimeter and rainbow shots in most cases.
2747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading platform on: December 08, 2021, 10:25:26 PM
I'm thinking of starting out as a day trader. I'm still scouring the internet about information and tips about it, then I'll practice with paper trading. One question I have is about popular platforms/exchanges. From what I know, day traders make about 100+ trades a day.

Won't taker/maker fees basically wipe out your already slim profits?

It's not that day traders always make about 100+ trades a day. Their actions are still based on the current price movement on that day. If it didn't meet, they will wait for it for another day and so. Just for clarification, day traders don't mean they are trading every day. The purpose and goal are to make a profit from short-term price movements or basically, short-term traders.

About trading platforms to choose from, every reputable and famous trading platforms are good. It now depends on what factor/s you are looking at. To name a few, Binance, Kucoin, Coinbase Pro, etc. I suggest doing directly a real trade with a small amount rather than with a demo account first if you already study the basic trading stuff. It's to feel the actual pressure of maintaining winning stats and minimizing losing stats. Your knowledge will be filled in automatically while you are progressing.
2748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money while gaming on: December 08, 2021, 10:17:55 PM
As of writing this, I read just few hours ago that Ubisoft had their NFT named "Digits". It is getting a lot of dislikes in Youtube though (not sure how they knew that there were a lot of dislikes). This is going bad for Ubisoft so far and with their community having concerns with their previous games, this is not going to end well so far.

Source: Ubisoft NFTs, called 'Digits', launch for in-game items
I did not bother creating thread, as I wouldn't be able to keep up with the conversation due to my time scheduling.

Thanks for this recent news.

So Ubisoft now turned their plan into reality. According to the article, the game that will experience first this NFT-system is "Ghost Recon: Breakpoint first". It will be good additional features for those who are really playing Tom Clancy's series regardless of whether the game is profitable or not.

Playing this game requires good and decent specifications. Let's see if it will be bloom.
2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Real experience - How much can you earn from airdrops on: December 08, 2021, 10:11:34 PM

I admire the effort of OP participating in lots of airdrops nowadays. I already minimize my activity in joining airdrops as I see most of them are full of craps. But if I see some good projects based on the result of my DYOR, I might join.

The glory days of airdrops are now gone but there are still good projects out there.

I hope your effort will be rewarded soon, OP.
2750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why LTC stuck on same price range? on: December 08, 2021, 10:07:01 PM
The real developer of LTC already left years ago and now it needs improvement in the project, if new developments are made in the code and new features are introduced then only LTC can get a boost in the price but if nothing new is introduced then the price will also remain the same, if not it can also fall because of people loosing their intrest in the project.

Honestly, no need for development. In a volatile market, once a coin already established a good foundation, it can be attempted to be shilled intentionally. If meme coins can be shilled, what's more for a fundamental coin. Right now, only whales can dictate and trigger LTC to make a hype.

Day traders should always consider LTC on their list. That price swing within just a specific price range is good for short-term trades.
2751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com Price Prediction – Will CRO Price Hit $3 Soon? on: December 08, 2021, 10:01:46 PM
If the bullish trend goes on, the price might reach $3.5 by the end of 2022.  As per our analysis, we cannot expect major falls.

Isn't it already a "shilling" when you gave a specific speculative price in the future? I know it's only "what if" but may we know some of the pointers why CRO should hit $3 soon regardless of either being bullish or bearish?

Yes, this coin is worth investing with, and will surely add this to my watchlist. But I hope others won't just enter because of FOMO.
2752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 06, 2021, 10:55:34 PM
How about the Spurs? They are +7.5 now against the Suns? not sure if Booker will already play, but if he is not, then I guess Spurs ML would be a good risk too.

Devin Booker will not play in that game. That's an advantage for the Spurs although let's take note that even without Booker, the team is currently in the Top 3 in terms of 3 point shooting percentage. Most wins of the Suns this season are contributed to their good 3 point percentage in every game.

However, the Spurs recently beat one of the big teams in the West that is having is the best shooting percentage in the league, the Golden State Warriors.

Spurs can possibly cover the +7.5 handicap if they try to keep up with the phase. But if the Suns are able to take a lead by over 10 points before the half, they are bound to win at 90% with the same or over with that lead referring to their past games.
2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 06, 2021, 10:45:58 PM
For me, it's not a serious problem though as I haven't seen Zion's stats drop yet.

I agree though that it's not a serious problem although it's only "for now".

In the long run, we will see soon the effect of it on his gameplay. New Orleans Pelicans won't be worried for no reason as they know the post-effect of gaining weight. He is just 21 years old and only played over a single season with the team. They are expecting Zion to be the face of the team.

In fairness though to Zion, he is still on his usual. It's like he can still control completely the current him and his body is cooperating. But I agree that he needs to work on his weight loss and not wait for the problem to start showing. I'm sure Zion can manage.

And just a segway, as a Dallas Mavericks fan for a long, I hope that Luka Doncic is now working to maintain his before weight. Last year, his weight is being noticed and has been a subject of discussion in the basketball world community.
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $2.000.000 on: December 06, 2021, 10:35:28 PM
An Indonesian youtuber offers a kind of advertisement for the online gambling site company 1XBET
Kazakhstan man won $2.000.000 on gambling site 1XBET.
1XBET and 1XBIT are the same company?

I not forcing you to watch the video.
below is a screenshot ~~ https://ibb.co/Bn7Pthn
What do you think?

I think that question should not be a question. Even site owners will say they are different, why we should give some green lights to either 1XBit/1Xbet's overall reputation and status in the community.

If the man won $2,000,000 from 1Xbit then so be it. There's no need to dip deeply if that's true as that will not change their reputation here. If you got hooked, I will not say, stay away but rather place enhance your DYOR if you want to test their service.

Sorry if my response doesn't directly answer your question. You should understand what I'm picturing out.
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: December 06, 2021, 10:30:51 PM
Because of no announcement with the day and this match is not that a hype, we can’t see the odds right away but hopefully they can have it right before the match since we all want to place a bet and support our boxer. Yes, Donaire will have a match same day with Casimero I don’t know if the venue is also the same since Donaire is facing a Filipino boxer as well while Casimero is not.

Surely, you can place your respective bet obviously before the fight. It's the same as before where I don't know the reason why some crypto-betting sites just list a match at least a day before the fight.

I checked the seat availability on some ticket sites and see that there are still lots of vacant seats 3 days before the fight. Maybe because of limited capacity and the news about the Omicron virus variant leaving organizers no choice but to have a bubble-like setup.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 06, 2021, 10:23:37 PM
IIRC, the worst record was owned by Blackwater as they are winless last conference and I guess it's followed by Terrafirma. These two teams are really the worst in the PBA, they only improve during the conference where they have an import, so I believe they will be competitive this new conference as long as their import will contribute base on our expectation.

Terrafirma makes a name last conference before the playoffs of the All-Filipino Cup this season if you remember. Their final standing is 4-7 which is just the same as Ginebra and Phoenix who get the last spot of the playoffs. They are just behind only a few points on their quotient. That's not the worst record compared to Blackwater that whose last win was way back in October 2020.

When PBA resumes in Pampanga to continue the All-Filipino Cup, Terrafirma performed impressively on their first 2 games beating the Giant teams in the league, San Miguel Beermen and Brgy. Ginebra. That's the time when the community voiced out that top teams should not ask trades on this team to make it balance.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 06, 2021, 10:12:12 PM
Unlike Rigo, it's more on defense and there's no action or solid exchanging of punches. What Rigo did is to keep running to make sure Casimero Will not knock him down

Honestly, that Rigo's defensive style is effective and working during his prime. The goal is to stay in defense and make his opponent come to him. While the opponent is busy looking for a chance to get in at Rigo's defense, he will now make some clean shots surprisingly to gain points then shifts right away into his defensive form and that includes running.

But with his age as no doubt it will affect any boxer's reflexes, it seems that he can't do it better now and as the result, he stay away and try to avoid Casimero to make the fight in a decision result as nowhere he can keep up with the points.

Now for Butler, he seems not that relying on his pure defensive skills. We will see him exchanging fist with Casimero and I'm sure of that.
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: December 06, 2021, 10:07:13 PM
Not sure how I feel about this, at least your probably going to get a better fight with Woodley, and Woodley gets his pay day, so he shouldn't care too much about getting a rematch. In fact, if Tyrone wins then you'd think there could be a potential for a rematch, and therefore more money for Woodley. I say we see a better fight from him this time, although he'll always be known as the "frozen one" to me, and demonstrated that when he had Paul hurt on the ropes.

Agree at some point. Woodley will enter the rematch with a goal and he needs to ensure that it's a must-win. If he will lose to Jake Paul again, that's an embarrassment on his part and it will hunt him for long. Jake Paul won't also be open for any 3rd match offer with him if he loses.

Get well soon to Tommy Fury. Not being negative here but it seems his serious medical condition is already enough reason for him to stop now his boxing desires.
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $550,000 gambling on sports this month on: December 06, 2021, 10:02:08 PM
I mostly bet on total goals and match winner!

That seems to be difficult but you nailed it. Your wagered amount is crazy and I can't afford to spend that kind of amount. Your effort is now rewarded. I see players getting big wins but your winnings are just made within a month making it more superb.

Just a quick question and if you don't mind...

A) Can you share with us your biggest bet amount in a single bet?
B) Can you share with us the biggest odds you risked on?

No need to post your bet slip link as I will not question it. A screenshot will do.
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: December 06, 2021, 09:55:23 PM

All fights, regardless of sports, that will happen to Japan this month are now postponed due to the new virus variant called Omicron.

There's no date yet when will be the next schedule but obviously, it's next year, 2022. It will give more time for both boxers to train and prepare for the fight especially Murata as he needs as much as possible time to practice his techniques against GGG.

Let's just hope first that the new virus variant will not create global havoc again. If everything will go smoothly, we can possibly see this fight being re-scheduled right away in the 1Q of 2022.
