2742  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Hardware wallets on: August 05, 2021, 09:51:48 PM
Like sa trezor mo is Merong two address for BTC and meron kang multiple coin sa trezor is BTC at LTC pwede mo hold ?. Like parang exchange wallet sya or just a single coin lang pwede hold?.

Yan talaga ang purpose ni Trezor, to hold or store multi-currencies. https://trezor.io/coins/

Nababasa ko nga sa mga Axie page, Trezor is only for SLP lol.

2744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading good for beginners ? on: August 05, 2021, 08:53:46 PM
I want to know your opinion on margin trading is it good for beginners or not? is there any high chance of losing the money?

Whatever form of trading does a newbie will enter, there's always a chance of losing the money. Come to think that professionals are even losing up today even for a simple buy low sell high actions.

It's not a wrong move for a newbie to do margin trading for the sake of building experience. But if the reason for immediately advancing to the next step is to make money, that's a bad idea. Try to familiarize first what a newbie should do step by step until they are now ready to advance their level of knowledge.
2745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Criteria for Choosing Alt-coins to Invest In on: August 05, 2021, 08:35:00 PM
My criteria for choosing is based on how long these coins are already in the market. In the case of new ones, it depends on how I looked into that coin based on my own set of factors such as, how serious they are in developing the coin, steps made to promote the coin, use-case of a coin, hype.

Our criteria maybe not be fit for you as we have different ways of handling it so try to create your own factors for choosing the right altcoins for you.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 02, 2021, 11:59:20 PM
Unfortunately, looks like ticket or PPV sales aren't showing a good result.

I tried to check some fiat bookies but I also can't find a market for it. Almost just less than 2 weeks before the fight. Let's see if there will be changes, maybe 2-3 days prior to the fight.

Even we send requests to sports betting sites on their respective ANN threads to list the match, they just won't add or consider it right away without a good reason why should they list it.
2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: August 02, 2021, 11:57:18 PM
It happened before and it can happen again if team US will relax, Though for sure that last lost from France gives them the wake call that it's their country's pride that in stake,

The USA didn't relax on that game loss against France. They are competitive throughout the game but France also gave their best performance because they know it's the USA and going against that team needs a double work.

It's ok that they have lost as you said, a wake-up call to bring their usual fierce in any global basketball competition.

Now facing against Spain, they are much ready and prepared.
2748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: August 02, 2021, 11:51:16 PM
Contact sports is now an art that represents strength, speed and toughness that represents everything that we want to be and admire, science and arts made it legal now.

And now turned into businesses.

In every boxing fight, advertisements are flowing and subject to tax. The government is also taking a benefits from it. That's why these sports have lots of legal terms if we go deep right from contract signing.

Being turned into gambling, we should not just talk about the negative side of this such as boxers are risking their life or what. That's why there are preparations and body conditioning that takes up to several months before the actual fight to ensure that both boxers are fit to match.
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nesthy Petecio vs Irie Sena Olympic Gold Match on: August 02, 2021, 11:45:35 PM
and with the culture of japanese, i don't think they will cheat in front of the world stage. they are known to be honest people

The officiating judges are not Japanese, not because it was Japan as host, they can also influence the result.

There will be mass voiced out if that happened, not just on that sports.

I don't think there will be an unfair judgment here. If there is, it should happen in the early days of the Olympics. The Olympics is now nearing its end.
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 02, 2021, 11:32:14 PM
What I am trying to say is, most probably all crypto gambling houses must be enjoying the profitable run of cryptos so far and might be trading to catch the waves of crypto markets and some other casinos must be simply holding like how a typical long term bitcoin holder is doing.

Simply, they are enjoying ~100x profits compared to what they made in 2016 as most crypto gambling houses are always treating 1 BTC = 1 BTC regardless of its USD value.

I also have the same idea that gambling sites are taking advantage of the bullish trends and might be selling too.

But we can't confirm it completely as gambling owners won't probably tell it or they will share it here.

I don't understand the feeling and experience of being a gambling owner but in terms of handling business and investment strategy, like in any other institution, turning the situation as an advantage is one of the keys to make the business a much stable one and that was gambling site is doing, turning the bull and bear trend into their advantage.
2751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 02, 2021, 11:19:03 PM
There is no limit in the way gambling is being portrayed and that is also a factor.

Exactly. Even how we protect our kids, they will still be exposed to the gambling. Just even playing with their friends has the possibility that they will be involved in gambling. Rather than protect our kids or try them to avoid gambling, just educate them.

Limiting them will just result in curiousity. That's the most critical part as children will start keeping things secret in private to their parents and on my part, I don't want that to happen.

If my kids will ask questions about gambling, I like that part and I will happily discuss it with them.
2752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: August 01, 2021, 11:59:27 PM
So what happens here?

I just saw the scoreboard, the game is over and France won by 17 points,  the final score was 79-62.

What's the point spread of this game?
I'm guessing France still covers the spread here.

I lost my fun bet. Already expected but it's ok. I placed a $5 to win @24 odds which is worth risking because of the pointers on that game I mentioned. France is too much to handle and they are even able to cover a large handical.

By the way, the tournament is now in the Quarterfinals phase, and what a nice bracket there. Top teams won't compete with each other on that round so we will expect to see a good and exciting Finals match a few days from now. Like to see if what teams can make an upset against Favorites?
2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 01, 2021, 11:56:05 PM
Only destination I see him wanting to go to is the Lakers to play alongside his friends LeBron and possibly Carmelo.

I agree with that. I believed there will be no chemistry issues with Chris Paul especially with Westbrook as, before that trade, there are reports that WB really wanted to meet with LBJ and Davis to talk about the possible trade that's now happened. According to Westbrook, he will now change his usual game style that is more on isolation plays and handling the ball mostly per possession. He will let LBJ handle the works and will just follow what's best. If that's happened, then the Lakers are dangerous although it needs more games to work for the chemistry.

Going back to Chris Paul, since he declined his player option then maybe he thinks that Phoenix Suns will not be the same as before next season. He's closing to retirement period now and the best thing to do is to aggressively join a Finals Contender team and the Lakers are the fit for that.

If formed, can this consider a Super team wherein 2 guys are now on veteran period, close to retirement, prone to injury than before, but still kicking with their respective stats?
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need beginner guide in gambling. on: August 01, 2021, 11:37:12 PM
I picked interest in Gambling recently and I love playing for fun, but lately, I lost most of the games this has made me lose some money and I would like to learn how to gamble.

It worries you now since you are not getting the supposed fun that you are looking for why you gamble. It's time now to improve your gambling skills.

But before that, you are lacking the information on what or where do you gamble? It will be easy for us to guide you if you will mention the specific gambling type you are currently interested in. There are no exact strategies you can apply in general because we have lots of gambling games around. You will have a different approach depends on what type of gambling is it.
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 01, 2021, 11:24:53 PM
If they serve gamblers online, they should have a cryptocurrency option

Not necessary as fiat digital payment today is much quicker in transactions than before. Clients only need a 1-tap click and done. No more third-party payment processor is needed to convert BTC to fiat and since most payments are fiat, it will be hard to make an investigation in case of questionable crypto-transactions.

But you are right on your follow-up statement, since it's a fiat online casino, expect a KYC as a primary requirement, as usual. It shouldn't be questioned by new customers that want a crypto-payment since KYC is already the policy from the start.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 30, 2021, 10:39:33 PM
Pacquiao will only get people's trust as a President once he hangs his gloves. That position is serious and he can't just dream of it while still active in boxing. It's different from his former position as Congressman and current position as Senator where he can still insert the time to focus on boxing.

That's not even a good thing that he focuses on both as he was elected by people to fulfill his duty. After Spence Jr., I'm sure Pacquiao still has a target boxer. He should forget running for the higher position for now.

Still no for me, it's expected that he will retire as a President if he wins in the election, but I'm not seeing that big possibility as I believe other candidates deserve more to run our beloved country. Those who are not living in the Philippines but are just basing the achievements of Manny Pacquiao in boixng, you have no idea what's happening in the Philippine politics, so I only take their comments lighgly.

On point.

We all have the same sentiments here that Pacquiao is not fit as a President. The task is too much to handle and he's not ripe in politics.

If he really wants that position, come back after 10 years in the 2032 Elections. He should have had enough experience as a politician at that time.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 30, 2021, 10:23:00 PM
He only scored 7 points in his debut from 2-10 shooting, I think his shooting form is kinda awkward, so most likely he gets his point in the paint because he looks really athletic.

We can see if he really deserves the increased salary demand once we see his total stats and performance at the end of the conference.

PBA teams don't have any good practice before the league opens and that might contribute to why he struggles on his debut. As a rookie, he is still finding his chemistry towards his new home. If only he made several practices with the team, he should know where he should stand.
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: July 30, 2021, 10:04:01 PM
I see no reason why a physical casino would not accept cryptocurrency. I think in the future most casinos will do this, but I am 100% sure they will accept payment through the 3rd party (some exchange) that will instantly convert the cryptocurrency into fiat for the casino. I don't think the casino would be interested in keeping its funds in cryptocurrency.

That will be the logical thing that will happen. There will be a 3rd party that will convert the crypto into fiat right away, not a direct crypto payment in the casino. It's like using a credit or debit card but loaded with crypto.

Land-based casinos don't want to take chances on crypto because of its volatility. They are a big business and want a stable form of investment.

Iran vs France later.

Iran is clear the underdog here. I placed a fun bet for them as they are eager to get a win before being eliminated.

France already secures a slot next round so they don't need to force a win against Iran. It's expected that they will sideline or minimize the playing time of their stars to keep them healthy the next round. A "slight advantage" for Iran as France bench players are also good.
