2761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best project for investing in 2020? on: March 04, 2020, 11:38:05 PM
Hi guys,
I have one bitcoin and I want to invest it in 3 or 4 projects that have a good potential for return of investments. And because of existing a lot of projects, I hope that you suggest to me some projects according to your visions so I can study them and choose which I can invest in.
Thank you.
I think overall bitcoin is still the best investment in the market even if the price of bitcoin drop today it could easily make a profit also it is a good opportunity to invest in bitcoin because the price is a dump to 8k$.

Other than bitcoin I think Ethereum has its potential to pump since the price is already dumped from the past bullish price, and also XRP could be a great investment since the price is still low you could easily buy a big volume of investment.
2762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 04, 2020, 11:28:46 PM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations
You have your point but it will always be a scam when the team didn't reach the right amount of investment the token will be released in the market since the team or funds needed is not reach.

This is already common to ICO it would be right if you could refund your money if you invest in the token and if the funds do not reach or the token is not successful you should be able to withdraw your money.
2763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go again on: March 04, 2020, 04:24:36 PM
As of today March 4 India lift the ban on crypto, how is this going to affect crypto market? Coronavirus is still out there, is this good or not good enough?

This could affect a lot when it comes to the market price of the cryptocurrency losing 1 country. One country could obviously give a demand in cryptocurrency losing them could dump the market price this could also be the reason why the market price of bitcoin and altcoins in the market today bounce back, Especially bitcoin that bounce back from 10,000 dollars. For me, this is not a good move for India since bitcoin could be a very good asset in their country and could be very useful for a lot of companies there. Banning bitcoin in India could affect the economic growth in their country, even China is starting to see the potential of this cryptocurrency and i think they already started to use it as an asset.
2764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 04, 2020, 03:45:39 PM
As we all know, porn sites are at the top which are frequently visited by people in the internet world. So in my opinion if a porn site accepts
payments with bitcoin it will make bitcoin more popular and used by many people.Because transactions on porn sites we need privacy and
bitcoin can provide a solution. But on the other hand we have to admit porn sites can make the image worse in the eyes of some people.
So in your opinion, if a porn site accepts payments with bitcoin can make bitcoin more popular or will it be dangerous for the future of bitcoin
because it brings negative effects?

In my own opinion porn sites using bitcoin will not have negative effects because this is what bitcoin is, a currency it is meant to be a payment option that we could use even in this kind of websites I think having bitcoin in this websites helps bitcoin to influence a lot of people to use bitcoin. I think the only bad thing where bitcoin has negative effects is in the dark web or black market where bitcoin is used as a currency in buying illegal things like drugs, guns, etc. Don't get me wrong having bitcoin in this kind of website also help in the mass adoption of bitcoin but at the same time bitcoin having a bad image since the dark web is rumor to be illegal. That's is why people having the perspective that bitcoin is illegal or just a big scam in the market.
2765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: March 03, 2020, 11:58:03 PM
SEC fined Steven Seagal for advertising ICO. The actor did not disclose information about the funds received for the promotion of the project, which could mislead investors, the Commission explained.

Since the ICO, the price of the Bitcoiin2Gen token advertised by Segal has fallen by 99%.

do you think celebrities know that they advertise scam projects or they just don’t understand what they are doing? I think this is a big problem for the market

This could be common in a lot of countries or i think in my country youtube celebrities are the most common that is promoting ICO's and different platforms which is I think just a scam.

Since in my opinion that could be a sponsored video, I think they are just a great platform that the scam ICO's could use to promote their token or their platform from a lot of people.
Also they influencers could really be effective for a lot of times since they could easily get the trust of the community but in the end, they are just getting paid to promote but not going to pay for it if you are going to get scam by this ICO or platforms.
2766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is it possible there are altcoins costing more than BTC? on: March 03, 2020, 11:48:00 PM
It is easy to create token that has a high market price in the market what you need to do is create a token that has a limited supply in the market just like what they are doing in an ICO.

If the token only has a limited supply and you created a token that the market price of the token should increase... It is basically what happened to that altcoins list.
But the point is bitcoin has a volume and also demand when most of the altcoins doesn't have, But still, it is not possible that there are altcoins that are costing more than Bitcoin but the post is bitcoin is always the best in investment, investing this token that has a high price in the market could not be worth like investing in bitcoin.
2767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is no different than a fiat currency? on: March 03, 2020, 11:37:45 PM
https://offthechain.substack.com/p/eth-is-no-different-than-a-fiat-currency

I just read the article above and would like to know whats your take on this. For me it seems true that Bitcoin is much more decentralized than Ethereum and so, much different than fiat money compared to Ethereum, still Ethereum aim is to reduce Eth issuance and it's much more transparent than fiat money. I would say Eth it's not so different as Bitcoin but still very different than a fiat currency and more decentralized.

Correct. Ethereum is nowhere near fiat currency. Bitcoin has a small and limited supply compared to ethereum and fiat. Ethereum still has not a limit but the issuance of new coins would be highly regulated after the issuance and transfer to proof of stake. It would still work as a utility token but would not be as effective to use for general day to day transactions.
Still, the word (No Different) is kinda wrong at some point, Ethereum was justs different from bitcoin since Ethereum was just a replica of bitcoin.

Ethereum was obviously just like a fiat currency that is digital because of  "the asset's lack of fixed supply, inflationary supply schedule, and centralized decision-making group".
Still, circulation and inflation, etc could somehow be relatable in ETH and fiat money. Ethereum is still a cryptocurrency or digital money.
2768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: March 03, 2020, 11:21:45 PM
Everybody in our Crypto Community is happy that we are going in right direction with building value of Bitcoin. This is really appreciable how BTC is improving in each single day. No doubt Bitcoin deserve attention of the world due to its features in any means.

But with the bitcoin most of us also trading or Hodling altcoins together in our portfolio which is logical. Most of the time Bitcoin and Altcoin work inversely proportional i mean when bitcoin is moving upward in mean time altcoins start crashing.

But in last bull run jan 2018 we seen every thing was going to the moon. Now i want to know community opinion.

Are we going for a Bull run like 2018, Or this time Bitcoin and altcoins will unleashed separately.
It should be vice versa when Bitcoin goes up the altcoins should go down that's how the market should work.

But if you are observing the movement of the market you could already see that the bitcoin and altcoins are bullish together and also dump at the same time.
I think this is due to delays and also there are so many things that we need to consider when speculating the movement in the market.
But for sure only popular altcoins in the market could pump with bitcoin at the same time.
2769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway on: March 02, 2020, 10:23:25 AM
Pls suggest me legitimate airdrop and giveaway or where i can find list of airdrop.
I am looking for airdrop that listed in exchange it doesn't matter how much its price or at least token from exchange that you can use to trade in thier exchange.
Even twitter giveaway if you know one pls comment here.
Thank you
Most of the time the token airdrops are not yet out in the market but still it could still be profitable overtime if you airdrop a good token in the market. But for me i think this is not worth it since a lot of tokens in the market are dead tokens also scams in ICO or tokens are everywhere so hunting this airdrop might not be worth of the time so spend in it.

Just an advice i think you should spend most of the time in other things like campaigns, works, trading etc. which is i think in my opinion worth the time and could be more profitable than airdrops.
2770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: March 01, 2020, 11:47:48 PM
Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency, which of the two do you think better? There so many differences between those two kinds of currency, but what currency do you prefer more, what currency suits your wants and needs,

First things first, let us define the two currencies. Cryptocurrency is all the money we have online, it is decentralized and global, it can be bitcoin, etheruem, litecoin, XRP, and many others. which is a currency that is volatile, which means it changes its price day by day, there is no static price to all of it, so it is outstanding in investing and trading in cryptocurrency and patience is what you only need here. While Fiat currencies are those physical currencies that you can touch and use to buy in real life, such as Pesos, dollars, etc. those are what we called the central government, which has a fixed price at all.
Just like what you said we all like cryptocurrency since it could give us a profit when you are investing in it but you still cannot use it most of the time since it is not yet accepted or trusted by a lot of people or even by the government. It is already a thing to use fiat money because there is circulation on your central bank and we still need to when we are buying things in our country, not all people or stores is going to accept bitcoin so if you wanted to use your bitcoin the first thing you need to do is to convert your bitcoin to fiat money.

Still, bitcoin and fiat money have their advantage and disadvantage but in conclusion, both of the currency is still important to us and has its own use.

2773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency! on: February 28, 2020, 11:59:45 PM
There are so many gamer's who earn through live streaming,
And I think crypto would be the best to make some donation or for them to earn.
I hope that there would be a platform that would make it happen.
And also I hope that there would be a platform where we could buy some in game currency for some online games like Ragnarok Mobile,ML,Garena and other online games too.
Hmmm. I think that's a great idea I never thought of that but I think it would be a great option to have also.!

The streaming platform should also use cryptocurrency as an asset the community or the donators surely are aware of the cryptocurrency even the gamers are not overtime they will be exposed to cryptocurrency since they are streaming if the cryptocurrency is added to the streaming platform as a currency.
2774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: February 28, 2020, 11:48:53 PM
Yes, I know that there are many coins , and everyone has a favourite. But with the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade close, the move to Proof of Stake and the performance improvements promised , is now the time to get seriously into Ethereum ? I discuss this in the following video , as well as the opportunity it provides :

https://youtu.be/O8gTpGu9D_c

By the way , if you forward to 13:15 I also share my equation for getting Bitcoin at a lower price

I bet no one can really tell the right time to buy any coin. Your dip may not always be the dip. You may buy eth @225$ and wake to see it @210$ or less.
I might agree with you, I think investing in Ethereum even today was still a good choice for most of the investors but having it lower or investing when the market price of Ethereum is dump is still the option or the best time where you could invest your money in my opinion. For sure comparing to Bitcoin Ethereum still is a great investment since it is one of the popular altcoins in the market, the demand in this token is still very high so the market price is surely just having resistance and going to pump soon.
2775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: February 28, 2020, 11:37:45 PM
Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now
Buying low and selling high for me always work.

The problem is did you really buy your cryptocurrency in a low price? I think you are just losing your hope. You will never lose if you will never sell works in Bitcoin and some popular altcoins in the market.

Just don't invest in dead coins in the market since I don't think it might be profitable even for the long term the price could go down.
2776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: February 28, 2020, 11:12:48 PM
Hi All, a friend send me a message with info about a new token name NLC (Night Light Coin) with domain nlccoin.com
But the condition to receive the token airdrop is have to transfer ETH to this address: 0x36afEe66EA8d6a99A9c6c7e676D512eA4A19bC83
I'm not sure if this project is real or from any scammer to cheat everyone. Please give me some advice
Thank you
Making someone to send funds in an address is obviously a scam!

Just a piece of advice I don't think you should entertain this kind of message I think it was just a classic scam message in telegram.
Also your not gonna need to send funds or ETH just to received an airdrop, most of the time it was just a small task you need to complete like liking a page.
2777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 28, 2020, 10:58:13 PM
Becareful fellas, new projects are now showing up just because of the Bitcoin hype growing around the internet, the FOMO is alive and no one wants to miss out, now new projects are joining the train as well, behold 'its all about money making' ,do not entirely put your trust in new projects, even new bounties are showing up too, I pity you if you don't know how to patiently do some research

I might not think about it but still, I don't trust this projects anymore even ICO's, in my opinion, doesn't give a great profit overtime when you put your investment in their token I think for a user who already knows everything about this they will not likely for fall in this kind of methods, mosts likely newbies and new traders or investors will be their victims.

We already learned our lessons and it is not going to happen again!
2778  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Students on Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency on: February 28, 2020, 01:15:27 AM
Mabuhay Pilipinas!
Ako ay isang Senior High School student and I know na marami dito ang mga nagaaral pa. I would like to ask Paano kami kikita dito? Ang mining, faucet, trading and some of these types of earning are not good enough to make lots of bitcoins. Ang cryptocurrency ay nakatutulong sa mga studyante na gaya ko sa pagdating sa financial support which is good naman dahil gaya ng iba na mag isang pinapaaral ang sarili, nagsusumikap makapagtapos ay natutulungan nto.

How can I start earning with doing some services or having jobs with cryptocurrency without asking the rank? but instead it's willingness at pagiging seryoso dito.

2779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Support Deposit and Withdrawaals in Hongkong on: February 27, 2020, 06:38:25 PM
I really appreciate how Binance tried to spread globally and been recognized as one of the best exchanges in the crypto market. They keep on rallying and pushes themselves to the limit and I believe that having this new offer to the people in Hongkong will help to build trust and confidence with them. That will eventually turn into more popular and as well as having a lot of investors in the future to use their platform.
I honestly think that Binance could surpass a lot of exchanges since they have a lot of improvement in the past month on their websites and their transactions.
Also, the CEO of the Binance has a lot of innovative ideas that are helping the cryptocurrency community. In the past day, a lot of great articles online about Binance and from the latest article I read that the Binance CEO has already overtaken Bitmain in the latest Hurun Global Rich List.

2780  Economy / Exchanges / Coinbase NO to long hexadecimal addresses on: February 27, 2020, 06:23:09 PM
In the CoinBase new feature :
Coinbase can now send using a short human-friendly address instead of the common bitcoin address that is usually a long address.

We all experience the fear when we are sending our bitcoin or altcoins using this traditional long address (ex.0x89136a83664fa0673930be34463e444260775dc or 3GVBSgLLLjAoNRKxw5hm7kANN2P2mEQJy)
Afraid to make a mistake or somehow copy-paste something wrong but in this Coinbase new feature you could now send it using a username  (like @walletfan) instead of using the long hexadecimal addresses.

You could also keep your username private, they added a privacy toggle setting in the menu of the Coinbase application.
