2761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Ethereum with Windows on: August 28, 2015, 12:01:23 PM
Only thing that I see that the miner stops mining for 500~900ms every so often for me. The hashrate reported in the miner doesn't seem to be the same on the pools. Maybe a possibility that the miner has a glitch to stop mining for ms of time and/or the share ain't being sent correctly for Windows. I have 3x HD 7970 that do ~68 MHS. When I enter that hashrate, it reports that I should get approximately 4.70 Ether. Instead, I'm averaging around 3 Ether a day.

Ok but at least you are mining some ether. What was the guide that you followed to get your miners working?

The next big thing within the ecosystem will have to offer entirely new anonymous solutions and this might be it!

2766  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis mining vs hashnest on: August 27, 2015, 02:36:51 PM
My advice is for you to invest with Hashnest.

Both are legitimate, but Bitmain's Hashnest is far better than Genisis mining!

Hashnest has the best and cheapest mining sets. They offer contract options (pacmic) and also lets customers buy and sell GHS.

So, with Hashnest you can mine and trade at the same time, giving you a bigger chance to get your ROI mush faster.
2767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy BTC in USD or EUR? on: August 27, 2015, 02:00:10 PM
You can buy BTC with either one of these currencies...
However, if you are using Bitstamp ist best to buy with USD, while if you are using the Kraken exchange its better for you to buy BTC with EUR.

2769  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Quedex Derivatives Exchange - WIN 3.14159265 BTC in a Trading Challenge on: August 26, 2015, 06:33:07 PM
Great and original exchange. I especially enjoyed the futures trading feature.

That's a feature that most digital currency exchanges should introduce.
2770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Be Like "Drip, Drop, Drip Drippidy Drop" on: August 26, 2015, 02:31:40 PM
The current struggle within the community and the disagree from developers to solve the scalability problem is pushing the price down
2771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: August 26, 2015, 02:16:05 PM
I came to Bitcointalk because its the best Forum about cryptocurrencies that is currently on the air. Besides Bitcointalk I also use the Cryptocointalk forum.
2772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reverse transaction on: August 26, 2015, 02:01:38 PM
There is no possibility of reversing transactions as soon as they are confirmed. However, before any confirmation I think that there is the chance to cancel the transaction...

Try to understand a little more about this issue!
2773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC halving but price going Down on: August 26, 2015, 01:49:04 PM
the natural outcome of a halving is neutral. the value won't magically double just because the reward halved.

I think price will start to climb slowly because less ltc will be dumped on a daily basis by the miners.

This part literally makes you an idiot

The only way price would magically double would be if the total circulating coins were suddenly halved. But who would do this ... the amount of produced coins were suddendly halved? Fucken scumbag satoshi? Big fucken difference. Even, then, what retard decided that the total ltc in circ is halved? The price would be less than quartered.
.
The only way price would magically double would be if the circulating coins were suddenly halved..
This part is literally what he already wrote.

I mean .. should I give you a dollar and a quarter? Better yet, should I give you the cardboard and a marker?

The price will continue to depricate toward usd, because cc's are fucken retarded otw.

How TF is 'halving' even a thing?

Because some piece of shit decided he didn't want to code a continuous gradual deprecation?

Fuck off, I'll buy you when you're a tenth of a pence.

How can you even say that:

"How TF is 'halving' even a thing?"

of course the halving is a very important thing for every crypto... it establishes at corrects the demand and the offer. The halving is part of the crypto automated issuance strategy to avoid centralization...
2774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best alternative to Bitcoin on: August 26, 2015, 01:45:45 PM

No doubt... even it if becomes worthless, you can still enjoy minty fresh breath.

Personally, Mintcoin is on my grey list.

Would not buy.

I find my breath best maintained by hot dogs and colgate.

Mint is a nice crypto for staking but I don't really believe it could be it... There are a lot of innovative cryptos that far surpass Bitcoin and Litecoin.

Take as an example NMC who has introduced a new technology associated with the DNS and domain attribution. Currently there are other projects in the same area that could revolutionize the way we access the internet.

Take a Look ate the EMC coin that works with the emssh protocol...
2775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 26, 2015, 01:34:21 PM
At this time a don't really know what to do... if a should hold my BTC or if I should sell them all before it crashes down and get overtaken by another crypto....

2778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newly Convinced That BIP100 Is The Best Solution on: August 26, 2015, 01:28:20 PM
I still believe that increasing the Block size would be the best option. Some miners already increased the blocksize while others such as Jeff Garzik have spoke in favor of BIP

2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Adoption on: August 26, 2015, 03:51:34 AM
The reason why mainstream adoption taking so long is that Banks do not tolerate decentralized currencies and I believe this is one of the major reasons. however, another key factor that spooks people out is the high volatility and of course education is another factor with its own weight.
