Lightlord, didn't you design the i0coin logo?

Steelhouse, aren't you that nutjob that wanted the block reward to be something like 1 coin or some shit?

Yes I designed those coins myself
2762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELLO EVERYONE, I AM OFFERING A QUARTER OF A PPC COIN?!! FOR FREE! on: November 15, 2012, 07:33:09 AM
Why are you confusing newbs with a separate coin.
And pp coin could be worth nothing. So .25 of pp coin is less then 0.001 bitcoin

Its free though, why complain about its amount?

2766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i0coin UPDATES on: November 15, 2012, 03:50:01 AM
The issue with I0Coin is that too many blocks are empty. These blocks are useless except to help secure previous transactions. This ballooning could be solved by forking the chain to temporarily slow target block time to 15 minutes and slowly decrease it to 3 minutes.

That was one of the suggestions of i0coin. Would forking be a problem for the bounties?
Would the bounties coins from i0coin version 1.0 still be valid in i0coin version 2.0?
2767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i0coin UPDATES on: November 15, 2012, 03:40:21 AM
Someone sounds like they want to take a huge I0coin dump. LOL!

Smoothie, you come on every single i0coin post, always putting it down and stuff, and there was a ton of community work on this.
You are implying that EVERY SINGLE PERSON that helped is planing on dumping i0coin.

You are rude, short sighted, and jumping to conclusions all the time. Some sort of behavior problem?
Or some brain problem? I don't have time to keep fighting you, I am sorry I just had enough with you.

I added you to my ignore list.

2768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / i0coin UPDATES on: November 15, 2012, 03:37:01 AM
Ixcoin has value in the market. Reasons for i0coin are its
a non premined currency, community worked based.

Email from Vircurex

Dear Lightlord,

We stopped the trading and support of I0C because of the huge memory requirement of the wallet.
We are running our servers in a datacenter, a 2GB memory VPS costs you in the range of 30 USD to 50USD monthly.
And looking at the growth of the chain, we are anticipating a growth of 80MB per month,
hence sometime end of next year the wallet will require 3GB of memory.
Unless the memory usage isn't addressed, I see no possibility of supporting the I0C chain.

Regards
Your Vircurex Team

Bounty That is up at the moment:

Paladin_avatar16: 20,000 i0c bounty
Lightlord:          20,000 i0c bounty
steelhouse          5,000 i0c bounty(Up to 25,000 i0c)
pyra-proxy         5,000 i0c bounty(Up to 25,000 i0c/1M DVC/4K IXC/200 NMC)

I am willing to add 5000 coins to a bounty to fix Iocoin.

Note: If steelhouse can find the 5,000. If he can't find it, I will Match his offer,
and will instead offer 25,000 as a bounty on my part.

Site: http://i0coin.bitparking.com/

More Bounties if the Following criteria is followed:

Actually, I'm going to up my share of the bounty.  On the following conditions:
1)  Vircurex reenables its support of the chain due to the solution - Then my minimum bounty will be 10,000 I0C
2)  If the solution still allows for merge mining (specifically at minimum on the bitparking pool) - Then I'll add an additional 10,000 I0C to the bounty
3)  If the solution can be and is ported to the following chains then further bounty additions from me will be:  (option 2 has to be met for option 3 to go into effect)
3a) DVC - 1,000,000 DVC bounty addition
3b) IXC - 4,000 IXC bounty addition
3c) NMC - 200 NMC bounty addition

Hope that by adding these and perhaps encouraging others that this is a serious concern for the longevity of cryptocurrencies the bounties and development efforts will be increased.

Aah! What the hell ...

I upp my bounty too:

1) I like merged mining - so let's keep it (additional 20,000) ...
2) And yes - an exchange makes sense too (vircurex or any other "significant" exchange - additional 10,000)

hope, that helps as motivation ...
2769  Economy / Marketplace / Re: PPC FOR SALE + CHANCE OF GRAND PRIZE WIN on: November 15, 2012, 03:14:22 AM
LOL! let's convollute the price  Tongue

The price is a gambling price, a ~1/15 odds you will 8.9X your return.
So if you buy 1000 you either get 1000 or 8900.
Depending if the luck of lady is on your side.

2770  Economy / Marketplace / PPC FOR SALE + CHANCE OF GRAND PRIZE WIN on: November 15, 2012, 02:10:40 AM
I am offering PPC at rates of 0.0015/PPC.
But the catch is, I am offering a draw for any amount up to 1000 Limit
I will be sending BTC of 0.001XXXXX amount to a Satoshidice address,
And I will PM you what the XXXXX is, as a form of password,
And that will be a confirmed dice roll, as Satoshdice rolls can be confirmed
Example, Bob I will be sending 0.00100024 to Satoshidice,
and of one transaction, and on Satoshdice, that will confirm
with the sent in email password.

If it lands a winner on satoshidice, you will WIN 8.9X
The amount you purchased from me!

Address Rolling: Satoshidice: Lessthan 4000 1dice6GV5Rz2iaifPvX7RMjfhaNPC8SXH

So if you buy:

1000 (You may receive 8900 instead of 1000)
750  (You may receive  6675 instead of 750)
500  (You may receive 4450 instead of 500)
250  (You may receive 2225 instead of 250)
100  (You may receive 890 instead of 100)

LTC could be alternative. Too bad HD 7970 is not stable doing them, atleast ad far as i know.

? That's completely false, I get 524 K-HASH 24/7 Stable.
If anything 7970 is one of the best for litecoin mining.
I am using reaper. Btw increasing the aggression above 13
lowers the hash rate I noticed this, though if you put it
as a second card, and a different card as main,
its possible to get higher aggression, and yield more hash rates.

Here are the settings:
(litecoin.conf)

host ltc.kattare.com
port 9332
user xxxxx
pass xxxxx

protocol litecoin

worksize 256
aggression 13
threads_per_gpu 1
sharethreads 16
lookup_gap 2
gpu_thread_concurrency 21000

524 KHSAH Mining Rates:

Do note I found a article some where, don't remember, but they
state that AMD cards can run almost indefinitely at 90 degrees.
and their limiting temperature is around 105 degrees.

I even undervolted to 1049 from 1174, as well as overclocked.
Its a good card.

I am using the code below and it doesn't use my 7970 and 6870,
I get a weird bug, where the cgminer opens, and it refuses to close,
I open up task manger, I click end task, and it does nothing.
I get extreme lag, and I have to restart the computer to fix the problem,
when I restart it, I try again, then again?

What am I doing wrong?
If I just mine with the 7970 alone its fine.
Though I used reaper, and it worked perfectly
for 7970 and 6870?

Not the reason but -.-
Just sad to see i0coin a community worked currency died.

Btw the other alt-currencies that the creator started with some to pocket weren't legit mining,
I actually legit mined mine. And I haven't sold any of mine yet for a year,
even when an exchange was up and running, and at prices of 0.0005 and above.

BitVisitor is not new.

It is already listed in the free bitcoins list.

This is referral spam.

true, but I am not spamming it hundreds of time,
and whats the point of a referral, if every single
site calls it a spam?

Then its impossible to do a referral?
If only to your friends, that's only a few people.
And its unlikely that your friends alone will know about bitcoins.
