2761  Economy / Goods / Re: Anyone knows If i can sell my car with crypto ? on: January 29, 2023, 06:08:23 PM
Hi, Anyone knows how can i sell my car for crypto like what is the process?
Im in Monaco spain and france area Smiley
It is good you want to sell your car for Crypto as a means of payment. If I may ask why do you want to sell off your car by accepting Crypto as a means of payment? Are you trying to evade tax payment just like a member said here or what? Well if you deem it right to sell your car for Crypto, that is my an issue it would also create a good business link for you though. This is also one of the functions of bitcoin no much stress or third party involved and less transaction fees to pay with a swift transfer.  In this case, if you are trying to make your deal confidential peer to peer would be much better to get involved with so as not to create awareness of your transaction. You would only need to change ownership which would not be an issue if any inquiry comes up about the ownership of the car.
2762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Main reason government won't fully accept bitcoin on: January 29, 2023, 05:22:34 PM
The kind of people we have in government are people who always want to fight for their selfish interests,  anything that will surely benefit them. If it's something good that has to with better development for humanity as far as it won't benefit them they will surely go against it.

The reason government won't accept bitcoin is not because it is a decentralized currency,  it is because they won't be able to print it like they print fiat  to steal as much as they can .

If bitcoin is something the government can manipulate to steal public fund they would accept it even before now without any delay.

I believe the government is against bitcoin because they can not regulate it to their own aim so as to satisfy their ego. I believe Satoshi saw all these before embarking on this innovation and it was something the government can not comprehend as it is against their own aim but it is too late for them to interrupt or interfare with the already developed technology. The inception of bitcoin took the government unawares and made lots of millionaires today and still counting. The issues of tax evasion is what they are also accusing bitcoin technology of that has made government to loose tax as a result of holders bypassing tax payment which they steal from without any account from them how they spent the tax paid by the masses.
2763  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Apology to Bitcoin Community and Request for another Chance on: January 29, 2023, 04:26:17 PM
I have read through and I found out that there are lots of stories surrounding you @jamal. It is unfortunate that you got yourself involved in account farming and cheating in your your own managed projects subjecting other's to working extra hours while awarding rewards to yourself which is very bad. It is easy to forgive but do you think it is easy to forget? Those people you put under financial hardships and pressure do you think some of them might be alive now?  It is disappointing that you did committed such a heinous crime to members of this platform.  Well I can not talk on behalf of others because I am not in their shoes they would better decide themselves on wether to forgive you and remove the tag or not but for the now, I rest my case.

2765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My step to promote bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 01:49:25 PM
OP I so much cherish and appreciate your efforts in this campaign. This step  you took is a good one and it is self explanatory a bit. One can see it and do his or her own research on it to know more on bitcoin. With this sticker anybody that is digitally inclined will have no much stress to asking questions but rather do his internet surfing to getting more information not only that, anybody who sees you giving out the sticker who is interested and is curious as to why you are sharing them would want to hear from you hoping to get more information on how bitcoin works. This idea of yours is a good and nice one to work with. This is a goal we must achieve to fasten up the bitcoin adoption process in our various locality.
2766  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got scam by CardSellerN1 on: January 26, 2023, 01:31:33 PM
It is unfortunate this happened but lessons learnt is an eye opener. As a member of this platform, you are advised to deal and trade with caution as no one would be held liable for your misfortune if any incidence or occurrence takes place. You having a deal with someone you do not have any contact with should have been a call for an escrow for transparency and credibility. I was wondering how you managed to have a deal with that person without remembering to call for the services of an escrow. Next time for your own safety, do well to seek for the services of an escrow so as not to have this experience again. So so sorry about your predicament. Keep contacting him, let's pray he pays you your money.

2767  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 26, 2023, 01:00:08 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?
Both Desktop and Phone have their own advantages and disadvantages for each user. For users who are busy working in the field or outside the office, the Phone will be a more flexible work tool to use. For example, I often spend time working outside the office, so I am very comfortable using the phone even though I only use the desktop when I get home.

Desktop provides a lot of convenience such as when typing and browsing the browser including trading activities. In general, the work done using the Desktop is maximized compared to the Phone.

This is something I also do too. My iPad puts me in good form when working outside with it. For convenience and ease, I do use my iPad most times to do my work outside office though iPad screen is a bit broad and wide to be able to carry out some function compared to using Android phone which screen is not smaller also, the features varies as well. My desktop does more than all of the above as mentioned but for convenience, it is very easy navigating with  my smartphone outside office. Although desktop features and programs are convenient for work and not all type of work that can be executed with smartphone which desktop can. So for me, I mostly use iPad when outside so I could be able to use some features my work requires since not all features can be workable on Android phone.
2768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 26, 2023, 12:35:07 PM
Casinos are just like every other business venture which is created to make profit. For a start, they must have a reserve, capital or otherwise so as to meet up with the running cost first which involves payment of winners, workers and every other aspect of payments involved.  I know there MUST be losses from players which will come in as profit to the casino likewise the casino too would pay winner's for their Victory so everything can go well for them. Of lately, there have been series of of complaints from gamblers and bettors with respect to account banning, suspension etc all these point out to the fact that casinos are really running short of funds which makes then to start acting this funny.
With this unfolding events, I am of the opinion that casinos starts showing their backup funds before getting license to operate. The casinos also should as a matter of fact, show their monthly balance sheet for further verification which is required.
2769  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 26, 2023, 01:19:22 AM
I just assume this to be a dream and even if it be a dream i d not think it would be a reality. Although there is every tendencies that there would be  a down slope but not to that point as you have spoken. I do not believe bitcoin would go less than the amount as mentioned. I do not in any way envisage it as it can never be a reality. You can talk of altcoin dropping that bad but not bitcoin. The market factor i think would continue to keep bitcoin growing and getting stronger and stronger irrespective of hurdles. Bitcoin has come a long way to have such sudden drop. I am patiently anticipating bullrun as it has gradually started showing up. Do not let anything make you miss this opportunity of bagging more, go fill your bag before the bull speed comes up. Just  forget about the scrap that you have mentioned earlier before now and do the needful if you have the funds available. Please, if there is anyone telling you about  bitcoin negatively, kindly do well to run away from that person. Bitcoin has come to stay.
2770  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC ATTENTION on: January 26, 2023, 12:34:02 AM
This is a very sad experience and with the comments forum members are making with regards to hitbtc, they have long been scamming their members of their earned funds. This is very demeaning of hitbtc to have get themselves involved in such a mess.  At this point, i think i am done with them. If I may ask OP, how long have you been trading with them and also, were you able to go through their terms and conditions before fully getting registered on their platform? I see no reason why they would not allow you withdraw even after verifying you. I think you   should start uploading evidence and engage them in  words and  maybe legal actions as you have said earlier. They requested you do a kyc verification exercise which you did, they coming back again for a video call meeting which you did and all they could do is to get your account banned and
without allowing you access to your funds. This is pure wickedness  taken too far.

2771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started instilling a bitcoin saving system on: January 25, 2023, 03:10:49 PM
You made a good decision OP but actually, your bitcoin savings is a good investment step you took and I believe you are ready for the risk involved. As we all know, bitcoin market is volatile though and there is always ups and downs too. However, you already have a backup plan which is the fiat savings and that would be able to cover you and your family when the time for urgent needs arises. Nevertheless, I believe your bitcoin savings is a long term holding as you and your family have agreed so that you can be able to make good benefits from the savings and moreover, I would advise you keep taking advantage of the current market situation now so as to accumulate more of bitcoin in your savings. If you have already plan holding bitcoin fraction by fraction, that's is a good one for you. I wish you and your family a happy bitcoin holding.
2772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE ROLE OF BITCOIN IN EFFORTS TO HELP FLOOD AFFECTED COMMUNITIES on: January 25, 2023, 11:02:13 AM
Weldone OP. You did a good work. This act of kindness can not be hidden or swept under the rug. Your good works would speak for you in time to come. However, I believe you did not only just donated to them like that and also from what I have read, I am well pleased with your kind gesture. Hope you did teach them on how to save their bitcoin when they purchase it and letting them know that their bitcoin under their custody is very much safe being in the custody of a third party exchanges which the safety can never be guaranteed. They should be conversant with the phrase " not your keys, not your coin" and possibly tell them to check reviews in exchange before dealing with them. Letting them know about wallets is another because I believe they have no idea how it works. Let them know the Best wallet for them which will cost them little amount for gas fee.
2773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today my client became the largest Bitcoin ATM company in the world! on: January 25, 2023, 10:43:15 AM
You call them your client, and I ask, are you the software developer that built the ATM software for the machines for them? Anyways, congratulations to them for their new purchase as it is the dream of every one individual to grow in every  aspect of their endeavor.

Quote
Evan built a platform trusted by some of the largest Bitcoin ATM operators in our industry, both domestically and internationally, including the Chivo network in partnership with the government of El Salvador.
I see they are a major player of the El Salvador bitcoin ATM machine channels. They built the software in partnership of the El Salvador Government which has been a success in making bitcoin accessible by the El Salvador nationals. This is a good move by them in making sure bitcoin is accessible in accordance to the massive bitcoin adoption movement.

Quote
We truly believe that this new combination of the best minds in our space will be the catalyst for the Bitcoin ATM industry evolving into its next phase.

Sure thing that this merger would yield positive results as there would more Bitcoin ATM point globally. This i think you have done well and will spur more adoption of bitcoin globally. The bitcoin ATM machine would help ease cash withdrawal as it has always been for internationals travelling around the world without much stress.
2774  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal are scammers like the FTX bitcoin exchange on: January 25, 2023, 09:39:10 AM
I have come to realize that it is mostly new bies that got registered newly on this platform are mostly here to lay complaint. Before I proceed this post is likely to be an accusation so therefore it does not belong here and should be moved to scams and accusations board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) so it could be effectively looked into but come to talk of it,  PayPal is not a Crypto or gambling organization so how do you want the bitcointalk platform to intervene on your behalf? You also made accusations against PayPal without any factual evidence as these you posted here are just mere write-up with no proof to back your claims. I would advise you to register a copper member so you can be able to upload pictures as proof and for sight seeing. Atleast from all I have said, you can be able to know what to do.
2775  Economy / Reputation / Re: Admins, ban jollygood and scamvirus on: January 25, 2023, 09:20:09 AM
I believe you know there are procedures this platform would follow before anything of that nature you have said could be looked into. At first, these are senior forum members you are talking about for ban which would need you to provide proof beyond reasonable doubt which you have none as I can see here. You made a comment about a previous thread but where is the link here, do you think people would believe you by just this mere post without any link to previous thread where you said you have started with such claims  and also, no proof of your point on false accusations by the names as mentioned by you.  I would advise you to let the bygone be bygones. Like as @little mouse has said, that forum does not moderate trust feedback and I think it would be difficult getting them banned for the tag on your account but you can still appeal your tag if you insist.
2776  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE UNISWAP and OP Airdrop on: January 25, 2023, 08:53:56 AM
I saw the airdrop too but I  was quick to discover their trick. These days scammers are really smart and working hard to drain people of their hard earned resources. One should be careful the way at which they log into sites connecting their wallets all in the name of airdrop. Now the Airdrop scam pattern is if you have interacted with their site before you can claim a free airdrop for early adopters which is fake. They do this because previous mega airdrop such as uniswap used  that pattern for their adopters and beta testers and that was why it could be said that many got the airdrop with easy and now scammers are using that pattern to wanting to rake our people's funds off their wallets which I think would be difficult of only the people are aware of their gimmicks.  OP, you did well by unveiling this for bitcointalk  participants to see. With this, we can thread with caution if we come across such.
2777  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How NEPA dey treat you for your area? Good or bad? on: January 25, 2023, 08:02:44 AM

2778  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The high increase of insecurities in Nigeria, how do we combat this? on: January 25, 2023, 07:43:33 AM
The level of insecurity in the country is so high that the government's efforts to combat it are underappreciated. Nigeria is a large country, and bringing its people together in peace and unity is not an easy task. We have numerous languages, cultures, and beliefs that do and react differently to things. I believe this is one of the reasons the Nigerian government is finding it difficult to deal with insecurity, but they are doing their best and I applaud their efforts. I hope they are successful in addressing insecurity in the country soon.

Oh yes the government are really doing good with the fight against insecurity and insurgency in the country. So far I have come across updates on the federal government providing more sophisticated armour and military devices to combat and curb insecurity. I will commend them for that as it is a good move by the security agencies to pushing the battle to the insurgents but however, if I may ask, when the poor have no food to eat do you expect them to stay idle, the unemployed youths roaming around the streets looking for jobs or is it the the one with a good business plan but no money to help support the business? You see all these things are the little things which are of good effects in the society but they are not really given that opportunity to work with. So tell me how do the government want to stop the insecurity in the country when all these minor challenges are not properly looked into. I was passing by a particular event going on in my state and I saw people running towards a particular place to form a cue these are youths, elders and children  and I inquired to know what was happening and to my greatest surprise, they were running to form a cue for payment, just to receive peanut and I was baffled. This is how terrible the situations of Nigerians are so tell me how does the government want to stop insecurity in this kind of situation?

Nigeria is a large country, and bringing its people together in peace and unity is not an easy task. We have numerous languages, cultures, and beliefs that do and react differently to things. I believe this is one of the reasons the Nigerian government is finding it difficult to deal with insecurity, but they are doing their best and I applaud their efforts.

Sure they are doing their best but I think the issue of diverse ethnicity is not the major cause of insecurity neither is it language nor belief but the government should step up their game in human capacity development.
2779  Economy / Services / Re: Betting offer on: January 25, 2023, 07:04:35 AM

This is very interesting OP. You did not give us proper update on your offer for which you created this topic as to properly make us understand very well. You made me feel skeptical of this offer and I will be sincerely saying this, these are the ways scammers do their work, you might have good intentions but the way and manner at which your offer was presented does not portray it as genuine. One would look at it and say this is another scammer wanting telegram users to begin spamming. This post does not show any sign of seriousness from you as the OP and if you can see from other comments, it is likely no one would reach out to you for further information as you did not really put it clear here and  you should be contacted when no proper information on your offer.
I would advise any one dealing to be cautious  while dealing.
2780  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Inec voters verification 2023 Election on: January 24, 2023, 08:40:23 PM
As the date for the 2023/general election draw closer, we have quite a good number of development in Nigera and one of which is the adoption of electronic voting and inline with the new electoral law that will allow inec to conduct a free and fair election,  and to achieve that is the adoption of electronics voting which is part of the electoral law passed recently,  and in practice inec have adopt a numbers of ways to get the electorates prepared ahead of the poll every registered voters in Nigeria can now verify the status of their voters card on the inec website.
Below is link to verify your voters status
https://voters.inecnigeria.org

We thank God fir the development. It is dynamic and we pray more development continues. We are about adopting the electronic voting process inline with the new electoral act,  and I want to ask this question, is Nigeria ripe for electronic voting? When there is epileptic power supply and internet brigandage every where not to talk of our local communities that are not even digitally inclined how do they do about that.  Internet Service is poorly available in the villages and most of the communities are near inaccessible some are island and difficult to access as well. What is the possibility that the process would not be hijacked by hackers to  work in favour of their paymaster who are desperate to win election. I hope the inec are fully ready to  deliver service as promised. This time around no more stories.
